*Vane stops dead and turns to look at Cobolt.His eyes were dark red with hunger.His fangs extended.He breathed in the scent of the blood.He walks to him and kneels.He lowers his head and covers Cobolts leg with his mouth.HIs fangs presses agianst the wound as they sink in as he feed.He had no control.He normally was repulsed by this side of himself.When he had enough blood he licks the wound healing it.He sat back as his mind started to clear.He still have some of cobolts blood on the side of his mouth...When his mind cleared.He gaspses at what he just did.He moved back from cobolt and pulls his knees to his chest and buried his face against his knees.The young dhampir was ashamed of what he did and that he had lost controled at his hunger.*

Cobolt shook his head to clear the ringing in his ears. He nudged his forehead. knew what I was doing Vane, he told the Vampire. It was my choice to make. I would gladly hurt myself a thousand times over if it means you are safe. Kiara bid me keep you safe as if you were one of our pack. That is why she told me to watch over you. We don't watch over anyone that isn't pack! Cobolt licked Vane's face to clear any blood left there. You are pack now Vane! Mother and Father accept you in their family adn Kiara accepted you into her pack! You are one of us! And we protect each other in any way we can!

*Vane gets up and moves from Cobolt.He turns and runs into the forest.He wanted to curl up and hide.He ran to his cave that he found when he was 5 years old.He curls up on the ground.He felt the blood take effect making his body stronger and all of his senses keener..Vane hisses in pain.This was what he hated about feeding on living things.For a moment he felt his human side fade into nothingness*

Cobolt followed Vane closely. Peace little one, he told him. Doing that is part of who you are and, much as you would like to, you can't change that. We will help you. You are part of us. And we are part of you. We will leave leave you. He nudged Vane with his nose. You are not alone. He whined quietly. You never are anymore. Come. Mother will be waiting for us. You've never seen her in a temper and you never want to.
Kiara shook her head. "It's nothing," she said. She straightened up slowly and looked at him. "We should start to head back. You never want to get my Mother mad. She's not exactly fun to be around when she is mad."

Kiara moved through the forest stiffly but quickly. She gasped from time to time whenever she would pull on her wound. She ignored it and forged on.

*Vane gets up and looks at him.He didn't speak as he walks out of his cave.His head was bowwed.His vampire side always got him introuble or had anyone trying to kill him or those of that kind kidnap him*

*Vane got onto his back and lays down.He holds onto cobolt.For his age and height he should way alot but he weighed no more than a child*

Cobolt launched himself forward and reached speeds even a Vampire couldn't touch. He flew to his mother's house and stopped. We are here, he told Vane.

Vane gets off and looks about. He didn't know what to do.He wasn't used to being near others

Cobolt watched as his mother came forward.
"You poor boy," she said as she pulled Vane in a hug. "Come along and we'll see if can warm you up."
