Esme stole a look at Rosalie and Emmett, smiling to herself. She rested her head against Carlisle, feeling his cold skin. She closed her eyes, pretending to sleep; her mind was a million miles away in Rome.
"I hope so too," Emmett cooed. A content smile spreading across his broad face. We're going to be okay, all of us. We're the good guys this time, he repeated to himself over and over; thinking back to Edward and Bella. Would Bella be coming? Is she staying in La Push?

"no no, Edward you saw them last time, what if they decide to take you too? I can't bear to lose you!!" she pleaded "I want to help Alice but I can't risk you" she said a tear rolling down her cheek as she clung to the front of his shirt
Alice kept fidgeting waiting to Arrive in Italy
jasper took her hand a kissed it softly and looked her in the eyes "worrying won't get us there any faster" he said before looking back at Carlisle as if asking for reinsurance
Alice's lips twitched and she continued fidgeting, only an hour to go she told herself
"Kate here they come!" Eclipse called pulling her along as fast as she could, she could not reach her top speed while pulling Kate along but she wasn't going to abandon her

"Isabella, I have to go help. They are my family. I already left those two today to bring you to safety, and I cant just sit here and do nothing while my conscience grows heavier. I- I just dont know what to do." he admitted.

Carlisle nodded to Jasper as a way of saying he was right. A calm look was on Carlisle's face, something that he often had.
Emmett was surprised at this however. How could Carlisle be so calm when everything was going wrong? Emmett's muscles tensed, as he began grinding his teeth. Rosalie could've been able to tell something was wrong, as she normally was able to do. Emmett tried to calm himself, but he remained tense.

Rosalie patted Emmetts hand, eyes still closed, when she felt him tense. "It's just in Carlisle's nature to be calm...isn't it?..." She directed the last part at her father figure.

Carlisle nodded, "calm your jets Emmett." He attempted to assure the bear.
"Calm my jets? Are you insane? Everything is going wrong and you want me to be calm?" Emmett hissed at Carlisle.
Carlisle ground his teeth together, sometimes Emmett was just so difficult. He brought his head closer to Emmet, "now you listen here boy, calm down right now, or I'll send you back to the pittiful place where you were before." He spat back at him, returning back to his seat.
Carlisle's words stunned Emmett. He sat back in his chair, grinding his teeth almost to the squeaking point. His jaw set in stone, as he stared directly at the seat infront of him.

Rosalie's eyes flashed open at Carlisle's last statement. She turned to look at him. "You know very well Carlisle that Emmett is always vying for a fight That is his nature, something you cant change. And if you even dared to do that to him, because we all know how you hate violence, you know you would have to go through me first." She hissed so low that only her family would hear. "I love you all more than life itself, but we need to stop this internal bickering or else it will be an unnecessary weakness when we face the Volturi, so can we all just cut it out?" Rosalie said fiercly, still at the low volume that was audible by the sensitive ears of her family. She sat back against the seat, sighing as she tightened her grip on Emmett's hand once again,

"Yes, I know very well that that is his nature." Carlisle responded, he knew it well, why he had exploded, no one would know. "And we will cut it out, whether we like it or not." He added, shooting a look to Emmett as if to say, you are in SO much trouble when we get back.
Emmett didn't move from his position. Everything Carlisle had said came crashing down on him. Rosalie's words had helped a bit, but he was well aware that Carlisle could send them all back to where they came from. Anything he would do would only dig him a deeper grave. His grip tightened on Rosalie's hand ever so slightly; he was scared to injure her hand. However, Emmett's face seemed to be set in stone. He didn't move, didn't blink, didn't breathe.

Rosalie knew that Emmett was still upset. But the words that she said were true. She would fight against Carlisle if he decided to harm Emmett. It would be like giving her a gift, and then taking it back. She was the one who begged Carlisle to change Emmett after she found him being mauled by a bear, she was the one who carried him miles and miles with his heart still beating, blood coming out of his wounds. All while she was a young vampire, no more than three years. After that suffering, she wasn't going to lose him over something petty. Rosalie just wanted to get off the plane at the moment. She felt Emmett's hand tighten on hers, but she simply put her other on top of his. She turned and muttered in his ear jokingly. "Do I need to ask Jasper to send one of his magical waves of calm over here, or are you gonna breathe?" She smiled a small smile and kissed him on the cheek. Hopefully that helped a bit.

Emmett kept his eyes set in front of him. "I'll breathe, but only because you asked." He muttered back, not moving his gaze. He loved Rosalie; she meant everything to him. Knowing she would be willing to fight Carlisle on his behalf made him love her even more. Most of the time he seemed like the strong one, but now, right now, Rosalie was. Rosalie was the strong one. A soft forced smile appeared on his face as he turned his head to her. He lowered his head, kissing her softly on the neck. His eyes pleaded forgiveness.
((Andddd... I'm outta here. The parental units are angry. rolleyes ))

"Thanks Em, you mean the world to me, and that will never change." Rosalie said, then pulled his face up to hers and looked him in the eyes for a brief moment before she kissed him lightly.

a sob escaped Alice as they landed "we have to hurry" she cried rushing off the plane and towards Eclipse
she was soon in sight
Jasper followed quickly behind her growling at the Vultori following Kate and Eclipse
Eclipse let out a cry of happiness when she saw the other Cullen's "oh thank god!" she said picking Kate up and running next to the others
the Vultori stopped and took it all in, if is was just Alice jasper Kate and eclipse they would have attacked, the black haired male that was in the lead jutted his chin out but stopped when Eclipse snarled at him
jasper moved in front of the others
the black haired male couldn't help but notice the scars, he backed away a few paces before nodding and turning away, the vultori would leave them alone for now, wait a couple years to try again

((guys, it cant be that short with the Volturi.... i want some action, lol))
Edward picked up Bella adn carried her to the line, he had called Seth on the way adn told him to come pick her up, now he was just waiting for him. "Everything will be fine Bella, I promise." he whispered to her, adn then kissed her gently. When Seth arrived Edward hugged Bella before letting her go and when he saw hat Seth safely had her he was off running towards the airport. He called a private jet adn was in Italy in no time. He got off the jet and ran towards the Volturi's place. He saw Jasper standign in front of the others and ran over and stood next to him. It seemed that Eclipse had used her power yet again to make them change their minds, but there was so many of them not all of them it could have worked on.

Carlisle dashed out after Alice and Jasper. Esme followed close behind him, keeping up as well as she could.
Emmett nodded, "It's go time." He sprinted after Carlisle and Esme, hoping Rosalie was following him. He nodded a quick hello to Edward, as his attention returned to the Volutri. He stood with the rest of his family, ready to attack if needed.
