She waits for a reply. But after 2minutes of silence she has enough and goes to explore her new home. As she enters what susepects is the living quaters since their is beds and a vacant looking bed that has no decorations nor does it looks like it has ever been sleeped in. She once again looks around her surroundings and sees there is a piece of wood nailed into the door. Carved into it says 'Maids' using her overly witty brain sweatdrop she once again enters the room and lays down on the bed. Then from there her dreams take her away...

Mizu covered a yawn with her hands as she took the teapot, tray, and cups back to the kitchen. Returning from the kitchen, she was surprised to find the door of the maids' quarters slightly draw open. Peering inside, she saw a girl whom she had never encountered before, sleeping. confused, she quietly rose the stairs to her Onee-sama's room, feeling a little foolish but also nervous as she lightly tapped the screen of the room before opening the door.
"Ne...Onee-sama, please wake up...I'm sorry to wake you but someone I've never seen before is sleeping in the maids' room...do you think she is perhaps a new maid?" she asked, kneeling lightly beside her Onee-sama as she spoke in a hushed whisper.

Umemi woke up and listened to Mizu who sounded very concerned so she gets up and dresses before heading out with Mizu to see where the girl is. She sees the sleeping girl and wanders if she should wake her.
"Mizu I know its late but could you do me a favour and make some tea whilst I wake the girl?"
She asked in soft tones so as not to startle the new sleeping girl that they had found.

Nobara awoke and placed herself. She dressed and went to work on the okiya.

Nobara walked outside to catch a breath of fresh air before setting off to clean. She remembered the ocean air that she was so accustomed to feeling on her face as she walked along the fields of her old home. She forced herself back to the present and repeated her promise "I will honor my family and make something of myself. I will become geisha." She turned around and walked back into the okiya. 'First I'll wipe down these floors.' she thought to herself. She took a wash rag and wet it. "Alright, I might as well get to it!" She thought out-loud, "Oops."

I still haven't gotten to see 'Memoirs of a Geisha.' But I might see it tomorrow. I want to see it so bad! Has anyone seen it? How was it?))

Mizu nodded and with a soft "hai Okaa-sama," she was in the kitchen, preparing tea. Once done, she made her way to the maids' chamber, hoping to be of some use with a tea-tray in her hands.

Serena woke up at her maiko's urging and quickly got dressed. Then she went downstairs and to the maids room.

rune awoke from all the commotion,she sat up and walked over the mirror. She looked at herself her hair was a mess,so she took her brush and brushed her hair. Then looking around she found her ribbon and tied her hair back into a ponytail,she wiped her eyes then went to her kimonos to pick for the day. "hmm,which one" She looking at them,then she picked up a red kimono with a gold dragon fighting with a blue dragon. Her eyes sparkled at the designs,then quickly she changed from her old sleeping kimono to her not so fancy but still beautiful kimono. "time to see what everyone else is doing"

Sliding the screen door open she walked down the hallway quietly,passing the maids she saw someone she did recognize. "she must be new" Rune said quietly she remembered her doing that once. She continued on down the hallway and down the stairs,she went outside for a while to think about her studies and to wake herself up more. The cold morning breeze blew thorough her kimono making it look like little waves. Rune smiled and breathed in the morning air,finding a place to sit she looked around thought to herself.

As Masacki opened her eyes she got to thinking 'what is it going to be like?'. Will she be treated as an equal? Or will she be unjustly dealt with? "I guess I should get up and find out." she answered her unspoken question.

Soon she walked out of the maids sleeping quaters and left to explore. As she entered the kitchen she saw that it was semi dirty so she wiped down the counter. After the counter she swept the floor, then cleaned off the stove. "There now it looks a little more presentable." she said with a smile. smile

"Maybe I should go out to the gardens." she said feeling better about everything since she did something that would make everyones life a little easier. She walked to the gardens as if she hadn't a care in the world. Once she entered the garden she auto-matically became amazed at how it looked. She loved it. It was the biggest garden she has ever seen! Coming from a small village can do that to people. As soon as she reached the center of it she twirled around as if she were a little child once again.

"It is so beautiful!!!" she exclaimed happily. Seeing all the flowers and shrubery made her like this place more than before. But she STILL has not actually meet anyone offically. It made her feel lonely to know that she still has not made a friend yet due to either they were sleeping or they have not been in the area recently. *Post 6 1/2*

Rune looked up and saw that there was a new maid,she smiled and walked up to her. "well hello,I haven't seen you around" Rune said smiling and bowing "my name is Rune I'm a maiko here,whats your name?"
