Esther walked quickly toward the guard posts. Waiting for ten minutes, in the dark, in the cold, was not pleasent, and she would rather not freeze to death before she got there. Finally the spotted her, a few of them raising their weapons, just in case she posed a threat.
"Please, I need help," she cried, putting her hands up. They permitted her to come closer, "My car broke down back there, and I can't get it started."
After talking amonst themselves for a moment, two of the guards agreed to go see if they could fix it, while another one went to get her something warm to drink. They kept a close watch on her, and she pointedly avoided looking at where the substance lay, instead asking the guards simple questions about the area, and trying to keep them preocuppied.

Gray nodded approvingly. That left about four guards that were actively patrolling. He made his way around the glacier. There was already a hole drilled in the ice for the Canadian observation teams. There was one guard standing there, hand on his gun. Gray put him out by hitting him in the neck with his fist, pinching a vital nerve. The man went down with a grunt. Agent Gray made his way quickly into the hole, heading for the golden light. When he arrived, he found the substance: a black, gelatinous goo that was frozen solid. He quickly put it into a special container. He had no idea what it was made of, but he trusted it to keep the substance contained. He made his way out of the hole. Still clear. He pulled out his radio, wired to contact Esther's earring. "Clear," he said simply, then began to walk towards the car.

((Missed it. Sorry.))
The man shook his head slowly. "No comprendo." He shrugged and turned back into his house, closing the door slowly.

Richard grimaced and shoved his shoulder into the door with the barrel of his rifle pointing through but still at the ground - a position to give him an attack angle but not to be threatening. "I need a phone," Richard demanded. "Neccesita," he tried, with the phone symbol again.

The old man was not at all disturbed by Richard. He nodded in understanding. "Si, si. Telefono." He led Richard to an ancient device. He nodded and smiled.

"Thanks," he told the man, taking up the phone and dialing home.
((Uhm... I have an idea of how I want the conversation to go, but I'm not sure if you want me to do it or you.))

The phone rang for a moment before someone answered. An old man. "Hello?" he grumbled irritated.
"General?" Richard asked. "It's me. Richard."
"Taps?" the man on the other end replied. "That you?"
"Who else?" Richard told him cheerily. This was good news.
"Well. What have you gotten yourself into this time?" he inquired.
"Well... we're in South America. Some... stuff happened. We need a pick-up."

No dice. It seemed the line itself had been cut. St. Cyrill looked out the window to see several men with AK-47s. "Ahh, s**t," he moaned.

Richard took a moment to observe. "They're probably just militants. We're special forces, they'll be down before they know it. I don't have any Claymores or anything though. Is there a back entrance?" he wondered out loud.

St. Cyrill shook his head slowly. "No...this is too coordinated. Phones are down. They're...I'd say they're the drug runners' friends. This could be bad." He drew his pistol.
