"Hey."
Tim peaked his head around the corner, the dull light from the glowstick barely illuminating his head that peered into the room. The dark mask covered his eyes that looked at the other three.
"Let's go."
Kon started towards the door first out of the three.

"Hmph... Right behind you guys I will get my costume on."
Kai stood up in the room waiting for them to leave. So she could have privacy to change.
Gar left the room, he felt upset for calling bringing up Raven in front of Kai. He felt he should have known better.
"We'll wait for her upstairs k."
Gar said going ahead of Kon and Robin.

Tim and Conner followed Beast Boy down the dark hall.
"Gar... how bad is it up there."
Through his question, Robin pointed out to the honorary titan that he too was a little on edge about going to the surface.

"It's dark, the City is blacked out and there is a dome around the city keeping light from getting in. The only light in the city was from small fires all around the town."
Gar said as he led the way up the stairs.
"The only person who knows Kai, I should be helping her feel better but I think I made it worse for her."
Kai quickly put on her costume putting her civi's in her backpack. She stocked her belt with her communicators and some of her tools.
"Hopefully, this darkness will be my way home. If we are able to defeat it that is..."
Kai said to herself as she headed out of the room.

"Gar... I went through a bit with her, so if you need any help-"
Tim turned to see that Kai caught up with the three of them half way up the levels. He stopped mid sentence, but hoped he got through enough of what he was saying to Beast Boy.
Kon was disappointed to hear about the dome. No sunlight... this was going to be difficult.

Kai kept quiet as she followed keeping a few paces behind Kon. They were getting close to the top and she thought it might be good for them to keep silent and try to find the source of the darkness without getting it's attention.
Gar looked back. He understood what Robin said. Hopefully Kai wouldn't hold a grudge.
"Robin, I can't tell Kai what do do right now... could you take the lead on this one?"
Gar whispered. He didn't want to ask her himself, he didn't want to upset Kai more than he already did.

Tim exchanged a look with Kon, who couldn't help but hear what they were saying.
"Alright... but it has to be resolved. We can't let this get in the way."

Kai followed behind crawling through the entrance now. She stopped as they got further ahead. She pulled out another stick to light the way and cracked it. She looked down listening to the howl of the wind. It whistled through the rubble and down into the basement of the tower with an eerie tone. She concentrated listening to the wind and trying to feel the direction it was coming from.
Gar turned around after coming out to help the others out. He reached out his hand helping Tim out then Kon.
"Where's Kai. Didn't she just catch up with us."
He couldn't see the light of her stick, or hear her coming up.
Kai continued listening. She used the silence away from the others for a moment to pinpoint the source.
"It's coming from all directions. How is that?"
Kai whispered to herself.
"That can't be right, maybe I'm wrong." ((I think she is sensing the darksides of those people and the demon's over the sense of Dark Jetstream.))

Tim waited for moments, looking back into the hole from which they emerged. He looked at the other two and slowly inched his way back into the stairway.
"...RC, are you alright?"
He didn't have to speak very loud, the stairwell echoed enough.

Kai began to head back up the hole when she heard Robin's voice. When she met Robin at the top she passed him standing up.
"Not really... I'm confused. The energy that I sense is coming from all directions not any one point."
She shook her head and ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh.
"It's not good."
Gar could smell smoke from fire on the buildings. The smoke added to the dark domes top and spreading through the air making it difficult for him to track anything. He coughed a little.
Kai looked at Gar quickly his cough startling her. She noticed that he wasn't as green as he used to be. She held out her arm and noticed that her shirt was becoming pale.
"This is definitely not good."
((Should we control the demons now soul... if so I will allow you to start))

"What's going on?"
Conner pulled on his shirt, looking at the red of the 'S' that was fading as if it'd been bleached out. He looked up and pointed in surprise at Tim's uniform, in which all of the colors were much duller than they should.
Tim looked around his person, at the bleaching yellow and fading red and green of his costume, his attention drawing up in time to hear a horridly loud shriek from the sky.

Kai pushed Gar out of the way as the large feathered creature flew down. It grabbed her flying upwards into the clouds. Kai couldn't see what was going on but knew that she had to get out of it's grip. She became intangible, diving towards the ground spreading out her wings. She landed on the other side of the island and slid into the water.
"It's quick."
She got up out of the water and began hopping over the rubble to get over to where the others were.
"Kai..."
Gar transformed into a wolf running over the debris to get to where he saw her fall from.

Kon grabbed Tim's arm and flew low, following the green wolf in which Gar had transformed.
When Tim touched down behind Garfield he jogged, all the while watching the skies. He already had his staff extended and some explosives in hand.
"What was that?"
He exclaimed hurriedly.

Kai came across them again. She looked up trying to see the creatures aura but it was as dark as the sky, and it blended both it's energy and it's black feathery mass.
"I can't distinguish it from the darkness of the dome. It's some type of bird, a demon or a monster of some sort."
"feorhcynn es gedreósan into díegol."
A harsh echoing voice from the clouds announced.
"It's a very old form of Latin, I can almost understand it."
Kai understood some of what it meant. It wasn't something good. She stepped back pulling out a flair gun. If she could get it to illuminate the clouds of smoke it would make the demon stand out, at least enough so they would know where it was.
((It would make more sense if the demons spoke old english/latin since they have been around for so long and those were some of the first languages spoken))
