Some Might Say... "Noise?" Lupus asked, for once caught off-guard. He hadn't known dragons could talk. He'd heard rumors but... He had always thought they were incapable of speech. Either way, he had no idea what the thing was talking about. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Antiarch roared, her breath alone causing a gale towards them. "What!? You mean to say you cannot hear that insufferable ringing?! You must be causing it! Ill destroy you!" She slammed her tail into a nearby dune, her legs kicking as if she meant to charge.

A dragon! Ean's day kept getting better and better. "We don't know what your talking about!" Ean yelled over the sound of the falling sand at the dragon. "Were not making any noise!" Although the dragon was tan in normal sight, through Ean's new eyes, it was a multitude of colors, like Lupus had been. But nothing else Ean had seen had been like this, strange...

Antiarch growled. "Liars! If you cannot hear it then you must be causing it!" She inhaled sharply, letting out a wave of fire at them. She was obviously enraged by something that only she could hear. A ringing noise was sounding sharply in hear ears, enraging her beyond reason.

"Ean! Hold me in front of you!" Duvelden screamed mentally at Ean. Ean obligingly held the golden sword in front of him. The sun glinted off of Duvelden, and quickly the fire did also, as it struck the edge of the sword, parting in half and rushing past Ean on either side. "Violence aye? I've had enough of this!" Ean rushed at the dragon, then using a tree as a springboard, launched himself towards it, with a sword held high.

Antiarch's large spiked tails lashed out at him as he flew at her. "Fool!" She roared as she opened her maw, snapping her neck back to catch him like a snack. She laughed at his feelbe attempt, as everyone knew that a sword of gold had less use then a stick. Gold was the worst kind of ore to build a weapon from. She judged that other metals were in the blade but the simple presence of gold assure her that she could snap the blade with ease.

Ean screamed from the pain of the weight of the Dragon's maw around him. It's teeth punctured his skin and he began to bleed. Ean's vision began to fade to blue, soon he was in a dream. There was a blue void around him, with nothing. But the nothing began to change. It formed the diamond he had found, and the crest inside. He awoke, still in the dragon's mouth. He had an urge, and with a free hand grabbed the crystal, and noticing a similar sized slot on Duvelden, placed it there. There was a large explosive burst of light, like earlier, and Ean flew from the dragon's mouth, bleeding onto the sand below.

Some Might Say... Lupus watched the fight. He had been going to rush the dragon, but the dragon had attacked Ean first. The werewolf didn't agree with fights that weren't one-on-one, so he allowed the fight to continue without his fight. And it wasn't like Ean was dead yet. He didn't have to feel bad. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Antiarch roared as he burst out. The ringing and the pain in her maw was agonizing. She whipped her head around, slamming it into the soft sand. Eventally her head thudded to the ground and she remained still. Her feral eyes locked on Lupus and Ean. She felt the ringing persist, but the pain of her maw was distracting. It was actually a relief. She lay there, looking tame for the moment. "Please... stop that ringing. There was a red gem jutting out of the left side of her head. A crystallis.

Ean sat up, clutching his side, blood pooling through his fingers. He looked at the dragon's head. Where the crystallis was, there was an explosion of colors and lights. "A... Crystallis..." Ean whispered, "Lupus! Do you know how to remove a crystallis?"

Some Might Say... Lupus walked over. "The hell is a crystallis?" He asked. He had never heard of such a thing. He looked at the dragon. "YOu've got a jewel locked in the side of your head." He remarked. ...The Saddest of Pandas

Antiarch groaned. "That would explain the pain in my ear." The crystal was jutting out of a node that was the ancient dragons ear. "Please.. remove it. Its unbearable..." Her tail thrashed, beating at the sand dunes as she lay there.

"Your only useful when you want to be, aren't you?" Ean said standing up. He walked over to Antiarch and examined the crystal in her head. "How long has there been a ringing in your head?" Ean said crouching down in front of Antiarch, "It hasn't always been there right?"

Antiarch groaned again. "I woke up to it. I dont know how it got in my cave or in my head. Just remove it. Its insufferable." She sighed. For an ancient dragon she had the voice of a young woman. It was very different from her gruff apperance.

Ean examined the light coming from the crystal. It didn't penetrate far into Antiarch's head, whatever happened, it was hastily jabbed into her. "It can probably be removed, with out magic." he walked over to the crystal and placed both hands on it. "This may hurt a little, but stay with me..." he said to Antiarch. He pulled on the crystallis with all his might. It began to slide out of Antiarch's head slowly.
