Connor slipped into a sliver of conciousness at the recieving of a kiss to his chest. The action brought a pleasant curve to his lips in the form of a lopsided smile, as well as a low purr-like sound of pleasure from his lips. Still wrapped tightly in the warm embrace of sleep, he instinctively pulled Emma closer to himself.

After sleeping for about ten more minutes, Emma opened her eyes once again and squeezed her way up to Connor's face. Wakey wakey sleepy head, she thought as she kissed him on the lips with her own swollen lips.

Connor's smile widened as he subconciously kissed Emma. After another moment of purring softly, his eyes fluttered open gingerly and revealed glazed, tired green eyes. A husky, inward chuckle escaped him as well as his own greeting. "Mornin', beautiful." His voice, which almost constantly retained a husky tone to it, was excessively low and scratchy due to his recent conciousness. [[I gotta hit the sack. Tired as hell. x.x G'night.]]

Emma's skin tingled as she felt the vibrations in his chest from him talking. Looking up at him with a blush, she replied, "Good morning lover."

Connor's smile spread lazily as he tightened his grip around her. A slow, sleep-ridden chuckle escaped him as he did so, unable to comprehend the immense heat that wrapped itself around his heart. All he knew was that Emma was the cause of the pleasant warmth. I'm such a lucky guy.

Emma looked at him and questioned with her lips, "What should we do today before my parents get home?" Loving the warmth coming off of Connor's body, she snuggled in closer as she continued to look up at him with her curious hazel eyes.

Ever the fellow without an idea of what to do, Connor shrugged as easily as he could without shifting his body much. He responded with that same lazy droll. "Whatever ya' want."

Emma formed a pout on her face as she replied, "That's no help at all!" She managed to cross her arms while in Connor's embrace, completing the pout look. "I always chose what to do so it's your turn this time!" she mouthed as she continued to give him her puffed out pouty lips.

Connor blinked with a baffled expression. Managing to shrug whilst still holding Emma, he tilted his head back and to the left, staring at the ceiling with thought. This went on for atleast two minutes, as he blinked here and there in between. Finally looking back down at Emma, he blinked once more and spoke. "Wanna' go out to eat? I know a nice place in town." He paused for a moment. "To save time, we can take my truck."

Emma nodded with a smile, discontinuing her pout. In a flash, she was out of bed and running to her bathroom, determined to take one of the quickest showers known to mankind. She closed the door behind her and in a matter of minutes, she was back in her room with a towel wrapped around her and her long brown hair dripping on the carpet. She walked over to her closet and shut the closet door behind her that so she could drop the towel. She decided to wear a pair of shorts with a vibrant tee that had Abercrombie printed across the front of it. Before she stepped out of the closet, she slipped on some sandals and swept her long hair up into a messy pony tail, ready to paint the town red.

Seeing Emma dash to the bathroom, Connor speedily slid out of bed. Snatching up his clothes from the day before, he jogged at a moderate pace to the bathroom he'd changed in the day before after shutting the door behind him. Changing into his clothes, he opted to walk slowly back to her room and stand in wait in front of the door. He knocked, boardshorts in hand.

Emma opened the door and faked surprise when she saw Connor standing there with her father's board shorts. "A-are those, for me?" she mouthed with a gasp as she delicately grabbed the board shorts and held them to her chest. "You shouldn't have," she continued, holding in her giggle.

Connor's lips spread into a wide smile, brimming with amusement. A hearty chuckle lazily fell from his mouth as he shook his head side to side in a futile attempt to halt his sudden fit of laughter.

"Well let's go then!" she impatiently exclaimed as she threw the board shorts on her bed and took Connor's hand in hers. She skipped as she led him out of her house and mouthed a song that she used to sing.

Connor nodded and walked in pace with Emma. Since he had considerably long legs, he could easily keep up with her by taking long strides. Leading the both of them to his house - only about a ten minute walk -, he unlocked his truck with the keys. Ever the southern gentlemen, he held open the passenger seat door for Emma whilst wearing a charming smile.
