Kino's eyes opened slightly, his right hand lifted to rest on his forehead. He'd lightly yawn, then move off the bed and rise to stand on his feet while stretching. "And now~." He paused to think of the next word lazily while putting on a white shirt. "now~" Pausing yet again, he snapped his finger to a thought, then continued. "Now I explore." With that kino left his room, and began randomly exploring each and every room available to him. Eventually he came to stop in his tracks in the middle of a hallway before realizing something. "Hm~ I believe I came from th-" He'd second guess his decision to point in another direction. "No wait, it was that-" He'd pause before sighing with both arms falling to his side. "Ok so I'm lost."

Mae had been exploring the school, wondering if this was to become her favorite past time. She did enjoy wandering a lot, which was partly why she had remained a loner most of her life. Going to this 'school' was an odd decision, one that Mae herself wouldn't have chosen to do normally. Turning down a hallway, she saw another person apparently lost. Looking curiously at him, Mae walked over to him slowly, her hands held loosely at her sides. "Hello." She attempted in a half friendly manor. "You look lost." Mae tilted her head to one side and stared at him with eyes that only appeared slightly innocent.

"Right." Cole responded with a slight grin on his face.
"I'm still human. I need my sleep too, unlike you." He said, sticking his tongue out at her before popping a strawberry back into his mouth.
"And you'd be 8 years old when you stopped sleeping." He added as he chewed. Damian tilted his head to the side slightly, looking over at Celeste.
"A friend you had?" He repeated as he thought for a moment.
He had noticed her eyes traveling to his ears and tail. It didn't surprise him. Most people stared at them since it wasn't normal for a human boy to have cat ears and a tail.
His ear twitched as a thought popped into his head.
"Oh! Do you mean like a cat?" He asked with a slight smile on his face.

Turning to face Mae in curiosity, Kino motioned in a friendly gesture. "Hello!" Biting his lower lip in embarrassment, he'd responded. "So you figured me out?" He gave a nervous light chuckle that was soon erased after looking at her innocent eyes. Kino's right hand raised to scratch in head, then motion questioningly. "Um, well I'm new, unfrotunately my sense of direction is not very good, and I haven't really had a chance to get to know the area." After explaining his situation trying not to sound too clueless, he'd continue with his original question. "May I~" Pausing for a moment, he'd give a bright gentle smile. "-tag along with you?"

Luna shrugged a strawberry covered in cream and sugar in her mouth. Once she was done chew on that she thought about it, "I'm suppose to sleep but I think it has to do with my second power." She looked around at a girl who was sleeping with nothing but a towel and and giggled. She couldn't help but point and laugh.

Cole glanced up at Luna as he heard her giggle.
He turned to look where she was pointing and couldn't help but let out a small laugh as well.
"Heh, nice." He said before turning back around.
"I wonder if she'll wake up before class starts..." He said as he pulled the stem out of his mouth.

Luke leaned slightly in his seat to see what Luna was pointing at. When he saw it he raised an eyebrow, then he looked to Cole as he stood up "Scuse me, I'm gonna have to borrow this" Then without a word or waiting for a response Luke suddenly grabbed Cole's shirt and pulled it off. Walking over to the sleeping Kat, he pulled her forward a bit by the back of the towel then pulled the shirt over her, when she was covered he let the towel drop and put it around her waist. After that he hefted her over his shoulder and started to walk out of the cafeteria, passing Cole and Luna on his way "I'll see you in a bit, time to get sleeping beauty to her room me thinks" He said, heading straight for Kat's room after that, he'd been here long enough to know where it was.

She nodded slowly. "Yes. Ellie was my best friend." she said, half with a smile, half with a frown. "I miss her something aweful." She sipped at her chocolate milk, trying to hide the fact that she was getting choked up. She hated showing her feelings around strangers. It had never brought any good.

Mae grinned at his hasty response. "Sure. Currently I believe we're on the third floor...and I just came from up there..." She turned and pointed at the stairway leading up to the tower. "So," Here she pointed in the opposite direction, "The second floor and everything after it should be down there. I'm new here too, although I spend most of my free time searching for the elusive race called 'people'. That's how I know my way around here quite well." Mae started toward the stairs leading down to the second floor, then a question popped into her head, that she should have asked before. "I'm Mae, by the way." She laughed suddenly, "That rhymed. Whats your name?" The tone in Mae's voice was light, but an obvious attempt at friendliness.

Cole stared blankly ahead of him as he felt the once warm feeling air biting at his bare chest.
"Okay....." He said slowly as he turned his head to look at Luke.
"Good thing I'm not self conscious or anything..." He added as he leaned his side against the table.
"I have a feeling I won't be getting that back for a while...." Damian gave Celeste a kind smile as his tail swooshed to the side.
"I can't blame you. I never had a pet, but I could imagine." He said, pausing for a moment as a thought struck him.
"What did she look like? Maybe I can help." He added before bringing his legs around the side of the seat he was on.
He bent forward slightly and his arms fell in front of him, landing on the seat. A black fur covered his body, spreading from his arms to the rest of him as his hands transformed into paws.
Within a second or two, he was changed into a fluffy, black cat with a white chest and stomach. He hoped onto the table and looked up at Celeste with his emerald eyes.
'Was it anything like this?' Came his thoughts as he transfered them to Celeste's mind.

"Just like that actually." she said, looking a little shocked. "You know, I can speak with animals. I'm not so good with talking to people." she gave a slight grin. "You look wonderful."

Damian smiled his little cat smile, causing his whiskers to raise up slightly.
'Aw, well thank you. I try to keep my fur clean, which is easier when you're part human, trust me on that.' Came his thoughts once more.
'But you said you can speak with animals? I'm used to having to transfer my thoughts to others to speak with them in this form. I suppose I could just talk to you, then.'
He sat down next to his cup of milk and looked up at Celeste again. He opened his mouth and a series of meows came out. Translated, he would be saying:
"So you can understand this? It's so odd talking to someone as a cat! I've never actually done it before."

Shifting his right hand to point his index finger towards his chest. "I'm Kino," His smile grew more gentle, then continued. "Kino Lockheart." Placing both his arms to his side, gestured anxiously. "Let's explore!" Kino's eyes said it all if his excited movements didn't, grabbing Mae's hand, he would attempt to take her with him in a random direction.

I understand every word perfectly." She smiled. She got up and grabbed a bowl and came back, she poured milk into the bowl and pushed it in front of the young man, or shall I say, young cat? "This may be easier for you.". She hated to admit it but she was starting to like this guy. Celeste stretched her wings, something she didn't do often because she wanted them to be as hidden as possible. She was feeling more comfortable though so she even flapped them and lifted off her chair for a second.

The happiness on Damian's face was obvious as he saw the bowl in front of him.
He meowed once more, looking up at Celeste again.
"Thank you!" He said as he bent his head over and started lapping up the milk.
'Mm, I haven't drank milk this way in a while either....' Came his thoughts. He didn't say it aloud so he didn't have to stop drinking.
After a few moments, he lifted his head back up, licking the milk off of the fur around his mouth.
"Thank you so much! It's very kind of you." He said as he looked up to her again.
"Oh, your wings look so nice! I've never seen a human with wings before. They suit you. Kind of like an angel or something."
