With a sigh, the Captain said Meaningless debate? He let the words hang int the air for a moment. I can understand. So you're still a child after all. Is that it, Parara-kun? He mocked, with a smirk on his face, as his indigo reiatsu began to leak out of him. I mean... Mock chuckled. Only a child would say something like what you've just said. You can't respect me until you know if I in turn respect you? Actually, that was the reply Mock was expecting to hear. Not wanting, but expecting. It felt to him like when two kids are arguing and one says "Yes." and the other replies with "No." and they keep going at it until one gives up - which rarely happens. That's a vicious circle right there, Parara-kun. What prevents me from saying that I won't be able to respect you, unless I know that you respect me...

The Captain let out a couple of laughs, before he continued. I won't partake in your foolish games. But it seems to me, that you've just said that you do actually respect me. Did I misheard it? Didn't you just said that you respected someone that could best you in battle? The Captain's left eye widened, as his entire face had become much more expressive. Too much reiatsu was leaking now. Amatsu should be starting to feel the "weight of it" on his shoulders, also probably having trouble breathing normally as it would seem to him that he was being dragged deeper underwater. Mock was eager to battle, only this time it wouldn't be child's play. Or do you actually believe, that you can beat me?

Make me respect you then, Parara-kun. Attack me. Defeat me.
Mock said while smoking. Apparently he wasn't making any effort whatsoever to avoid keeping his guard down. Do you think you have the right to test me like this boy? his voice progressively changed into a more deep and guttural one. Or shouldn't be me, who was here first, the one testing you?

...Mock seemed to see straight through Amatsu as he had expected, and was hoping for. His head tilted slightly downward, hiding most of his face from view. Making it seems as though Mock's words had indeed struck a personal chord. "I guess your right, MockaDash-Sama... I am just a child. Walking around in circles till I can find something that makes me something else, huh?" He spoke in a depressing voice that showed no a hint of falseness. "What point is there in fighting one as strong as you?" Amatsu said as the indigo reiatsu began whip around Mock, sneering at Amatsu every few moments. Suddenly the pressure around Amatsu seemed to intense tenfolds. Though Amatsu didn't change his composer at all. Sweat began to fall from Amatsu unseen face to the earth below, but still Amatsu didn't falter at all. He was childish in many peoples eyes, but there was one thing that was excellent about being child-like. Amatsu didn't know when to give up. Suddenly a deep blueish black reiatsu leaked from Amatsu, nothing compared to Mock's. Only a fly in the face of a lion, but it was enough to block the ever growing weight. Pressing down on Amatsu. Slowly rising his head Amatsu smiled at Mock eagerly. "Contradicting yourself? Or do different rules apply? Did you just call Shinzou a barbarian, and a man with no honor for attacking a unarmed man? But then again, I am a child..." Amatsu said before his grip tightened upon the hilt of his Zanpakuto...

...Even though he couldn't hold the reiatsu coating to block out the immense pressure from Mock long, hopefully he could get his point across before then. Suddenly every muscle in Amatsu's body tightened, catching the sheath of his Zanpakuto on his shoulder, Amatsu released his blade, it came down toward Mock's right shoulder. Amatsu expected a simple defensive measure as he had done with Shinzou. As his sheath fell down his back, Amatsu lifted his right foot back with ease, hitting the butt of the sheath he sent it flying into the air twirling. Amatsu suddenly flicked his blade to the side with a smile movement of his hand. At the same moment Amatsu moved to side of Mock. It would have been easy to follow for Mock, but Amatsu didn't really care. He was a hard-headed person. Reaching his hand upward he caught the side of his sheath just above where the blade went into. Slashing at Mock's backside, Amatsu also moved upward while attempting to slam his sheath into Mock's temple...

...Simple as a rain storm, yet unexpected as one also. Amatsu let out a slight sigh as he waited for Mock's retaliation...

Shinzou stood there looking at his blade, cursing himself, but cursing also his Captain, none of what he said about Shinzou was the least bit true, he was spitting venom simply for sake of doing so, at least he was from Shinzou's position. "Your the Conceited one." He said softly. "You sit here acting all high and mighty, calling me that word, and yet you walked away, you turned your back on an armed opponent, that's your fault, regardless of the reason you did so. And then you proceeded to give your little speech about me being dishonorable for attacking you while you don't have your Zanpakutou drawn."

"That's a pathetic and hypocritical attempt to anger me and you know it. Your never unarmed, you proved that when you broke my sword. What kind of Captain would go around without being ready to react to anything at any time? You don't have to have your sword drawn to be armed, you know that truth as well as I do. You are as dangerous just standing there as you are with a sword in you hands." Shinzou said as he placed what was left of his Zanpakutou back into it's sheath before looking back to his Captain.

"You disrespect my honor, and disrespecting another person's honor is just as bad as forsaking your own. Seems to me that your the one who is choosing the path of Conceit." He said as he began to feel the Reiatsu pushing down on him, even though he was now a ways away from the Captain. It didn't matter though, even now he was in a far different place. He wasn't with them anymore, he was in his own head, his own soul. Taking a look for old time's sake, though this time there was another presence.

Shinzou, well at least the projection of his physical self in his soul, now stood in a vast desert of flowing wind and sand. In front of him, a few dozen feet away, stood a figure dress in shawls and a white cloak. The figure wore a wrap on his head, only blackness visible beyond the opening where the shawl wrapped around the figure's face. Two long strips of what looked like gauze trailed from out of the sleeves and coiled on the ground. No legs, or features for that matter, showed through clearly and what did seemed to be ever shifting. The only thing that hint at some human form was the figure's over all size and stance, and it's voice as it spoke. A low rolling growl came from through the blackness between the shawl and the wrap.
"It took you long enough to get here... boy." The figure said as he began to seemingly float towards Shinzou. "You sure have a big mouth... can't say I don't agree with what you said, for the most part, but it would have been better if you had just shut up and got your a** in here."

Alder recognized the nod, but didn't reply. He was to focused on Mock's speech, listening intently, so he wouldn't miss a word. His rapier was still drawn, and it quietly hummed with the wind that blew across the training area, gently lifting Alder's long, black hair into the air, and into his face. Without saying anything, he listened to the conversation, and silently learned more about the two.

Hishida turned around to face his fellow squad member and put on a sincere looking smile. The shinigami replied, I wouldn’t mind a quick spar Yuki. The youth unsheathed his divine blade and held it at his side, tilting it towards the ground as he held it. A ray of sunlight reflected off the metal, giving it a kind of bright glowing like effect. His smile faded as he examined his zanpaktou. Putting on a more serious tone of voice, he diverted his attention back to Yuki and said, you may have the first move. Hishida didn’t yet know anything about his opponent that he could use against her, but he planned on gathering plenty of information during there fight. A gust of wind floated past them, carrying small clouds of dust as it meandered by. The shinigami always thought that fighting a new opponent was always interesting because of what you can learn just from a single spar. The observant can learn many things from a fight, many of which not having to do with combat. Hishida then grabbed his hilt with both hands and lifted the sword to put himself into a fighting stance, waiting for the other shinigami to make a move.

Sand began to creep up around Shinzou's legs as he gasped to gain some air. For some reason he could not draw in a breath, it was like his lungs had dried up and he was attempting to breath sand. The figure stopped a few feet away as Shinzou fell to his knees. In the real world Shinzou's body mimicked this action, but only that one, his face was blank and unchanging. The cause of this was more from his spacing out and the Captain's spiritual pressure forcing him there however.

"Hmm, boy? Do you know my name?" The figure asked as Shinzou was suddenly able to breath again. He only managed to blurt out one word, "No!" He gasped as he struggled to fill his lungs with air. He sat there gasping looking up at the figure who began to speak. "Good good, we wouldn't have wanted someone to have ruined all the fun for you." He said with a laugh. A hundred or so spires began to pop up all over the desert around them, miles away, identical in appearance. The shone brightly and with a strange glint as they climbed higher into the sky.

"Ok, at one of these spires you will find what you are looking for, only problem is, which one?" He said as he began laughing. "Well, what are you waiting for?" He said as he stepped behind Shinzou and gave him a swift kick in between the shoulder blades. The Shinigami rolled around for a moment in pain before gathering himself and looking around. He figured he might as well start walking, since those damn pillars were so far away.

Taking a step back Yuki got into her Shiranui-ryu Iai stance. In this stance she draws her sword with one hand, with her right knee in front and slightly bent, and with the left leg extended backward so straight that the left knee almost touched the ground. As soon as drawing she attacked in extremely low posture. She was more confident in this stance now that she'd gotten more use to the weight of her blade. Though she preferred to use this as a defencive stance it seemed fate wanted it used for offense today. As soon as the shinigami had gotten into his own stance she drew her sword with her normal incredible speed making a vertical strike in the same motion as drawing. The first strike was aimed to cut from his left hip to the right shoulder, then running behind him on the right side, Yuki brought her blade down aiming to go from the right should back down to the left hip.

Hishida studied Yuki as she got into her unusual looking stance. He had never seen it before, which intrigued him. He quickly noted the new fact as he watched her follow the action up with a vertical slice across his torso. Her speed level was fairly higher then what he was use to, but he managed to block her attack just in time, barely avoiding a fatal injury.

Hishida hardly had a second to recover before he noticed her circling around him to go for a second strike. He was okay with fast paced combat, but being this close made him uncomfortably cautious. With only milliseconds to react to her onslaught of slashes, Hishida forced a jet of reiatsu to siphon through his feet and propel him about ten feet, in an attempt to dodge Yuki’s attack, and to create some distance between them. Upon landing, he almost lost balance, but swiftly regained it while turning around. The youth then noticed that her attack had somewhat hit, leaving a small slice across his back, cutting through the black layer of his uniform. Luckily it had not left any sort of wound.

Now holding his sword with only his left hand, the shinigami looked up at his opponent and quickly raised two fingers. He simply thought to himself, I hope she dodges this. He followed this thought up with a blast of reiatsu shooting from his hand. The attack was similar to a white lightening kidou, but was different in two ways. The first being that the blast was blue instead of white, and the second being that what he was doing wasn’t kidou.

Smiling at Amatsu, Mock slowly reached for his wakizashi - kept inside his clothes - and raising his right arm, he blocked the Shinigamis first attack rather effortlessly. With a sweeping motion of his arm, he deflected Amatsu's katana to his right. Oh! But being a child is so fun! The Captain said, indeed displaying a childish smile on his face. Thank you for allowing me to free myself, if only for just short period of time!!!

Ooooh!
Mock let out, as he witnessed Amatsu's acrobatic exhibition. The Captain lifted his head to look at the "flying sheath", apparently not troubling himself with following his opponent's movements. His face resembled that of a child watching fireworks. He was however tracking Amatsu's every moment. The reiatsu that the unseated Shinigami was releasing, allowed Mock to easily do so.
Comically getting out of the way of Amatsu's blade, with a tumble and a spin, Mock kept looking up as he made a small cut on the palm of his left hand, with the wakizashi. His left eye kept tracking the falling sheath, and when it fell onto Amatsu's hand, Mock's facial expression had changed once more. He still grinned happily, but now with a sadistic glee to it. On his right hand, he was now holding a man-sized dark nodachi.

Having absorbed Mock's own blood, his bloodthirsty Zanpakutou was released. Mock's reiatsu inadvertently tenfolded, and the indigo aura was replaced by an ominous crimson one. A twist of the wrist accompanied by a thrust, allowed Mock to easily deflect Amatsu's last attack, since he now wielded a large sword. The Captain also met Amatsu's head with his own, turning around. Both Shinigamis headbutted each other. Mock's head was pushed back a little, and his forehead was slightly red from the bruise.

Brandishing the large nodachi at close range from Amatsu, Mock roared Itsuryu KetsuekiZenchou!!! A large dark wave of condensed reiatsu poured from the length of the blade, and swiftly engulfed the frontal half of Amatsu's body - like a semi-sphere - and "crashed" on his body. Being hit by it would feel like being sliced by a hundred blades. Though Mock hoped that his opponent would be able to somehow at least dodge some of it, so he could continue to have fun.

At a distance, he heard Shizou's rant. He shook his head in disapproval for, in spite of acting on the outside as if he was a different man, on the inside it was still Mock "pulling the strings". Apparently Shizou had lost it. Both he as well as Amatsu were unable to understand Mock's true intentions. Misinterpreting his words as poison, was sad to say the least. Mock never alleged that he wasn't ready to deal with Shizou's attack, he merely felt no point in doing so. He never claimed to be helpless, merely claimed to be unarmed at the time - which he was. Truly Mock did not thought of his actions as a dishonor. He merely spoke his mind, and refused to fight. There was no honor for him, in pursuing a fruitless fight, so on top of everything, even if under different circumstances what he did could be considered as dishonorable, it this one it couldn't. Since there was no honor whatsoever in what Shinzou was doing. He was merely picking a fight out of conceit, for having been denied one. Ironically, one that he didn't seemed willing to engage in, in the first place.

MockaDash's words were being labeled as nothing more than arrogant and hollow, when in fact they (Shinzou and Amatsu) were the ones not paying true attention to what he said. Instead, they distorted their meanings, and clouded their judgments with rage. Probably MockaDash was demanding too much of these Shinigamis, at this point. But truth was, he had high hopes for them, and probably that made him push them further and also expect more from them, than what they were ready to at the time.

Though Mock's actions seemed to fail to produce his desired outcome, it seemed that the end result would soon be the same. At least apparently. Since something was happening within the boy's soul.

Mock shifted his attention back to Amatsu and to how he was dealing with his attack. After all, whatever was to happen with Shinzou, Mock couldn't do anything besides leaving him alone.

(( There's no set of rules. Since every Zanpakutou is different, I like to grant each RPer entire creative liberty. I just impose one restriction, and that is a nice display of literacy and RPing skills. Both of you have done that already, so whenever you think you're ready, you can get you shikai.

Do it as you please. It's up to you both now! ))

As Amatsu's movements seemed apparent to Mock, Amatsu all the while wondered what was the true intentions of Mock. Now that Amatsu had thought it over once more he didn't remember Mock being such a person to push people, to be so direct and mean in Amatsu's simple mind. Shinzou from what Amatsu could remember was not as new to this squad as himself, but still new none the less. Amatsu was new, knowing no one he may be the newest person to the squad. Maybe it was his way of testing the two of them. Suddenly the reiatsu from Mock began to increase, it seemed to completely crush his on coating of reiatsu. The pressure increased to extreme levels, tenfolds stronger. Baring down on Amatsu like gravity itself has suddenly changed. Was it just the effect of Mock releasing whatever it may be, or was he centering it just upon Amatsu? It would be unknown to him. He wasn't in the position to figure it out just yet. As Mock sudden blocked both attacks with ease Amatsu lost all concentration on the subject at hand, he was only concerned with staying conscious, or on his feet. With his left hand tightly around the hilt of his Zanpakuto, and his right hand slightly loose around the bottom part of his sheath, Amatsu wasn't sure what to do about his next attack...

...A flare of crimson reiatsu blasted passed Amatsu, it sent his hair fluttering back, his slightly loose shinigami uniform whipped and shook from the wind that erupted from the reiatsu. It felt like the wind itself could burn straight through Amatsu. His eyes closed, but his face became firm. He had to get himself together before continuing. "Sarcasm..." Amastu muttered. He wasn't sure if it would have got through to Mock from the ever growing flare of crimson reiatsu, only a flicker of the indigo reiatsu remained, but it was quickly overtook by the new, more menacing reiatsu. "...Its called sarcasm... i'm full of it..." Even in the face of danger, Amatsu could still muster up the strength for it. A ever growing smirk formed over his lips as he thought over his next movements. Everything was happening so slowly, it was as if time itself was giving Amatsu the time to plan out his plan, his future. Suddenly Mock began to speak once more. It was a technique; that much Amatsu knew, though. What it was Amatsu didn't know. He hadn't been close enough to the battle between the Espada known as Rakey, and Mock to hear any words, only see what happen. Suddenly a form began to grow larger and larger between Mock and Amatsu. Within Amatsu's eyes it slowed down...

...With the wide grin still playing around Amatsu's pale cherry lips, he moved hopefully quick enough to escape without much harm. He had to act fast, and swiftly. Sliding his right foot back along the earth, Amatsu created an arc of dust just above the ground. His hand tightened and loosened on the sheath in his right hand. Amatsu knew where Mock stood behind the sphere slowly creeping around him, suddenly time seemed to come back to plague its ways upon Amatsu. The sphere acted fast. It stopped for only about a millisecond creating a partial sphere. Amatsu lowered himself down into almost a crouched position, twirling his Zanpakuto before himself, suddenly he resheathed it with a echoing clank of metal. His right hand still upon his sheath held firm, while his left hand upon the hilt was loose, ready to strike...

...Without much need the partial sphere closed in on Amatsu, he could feel the reiatsu practically firing from it toward him. There was enough compressed reiatsu within that attack to equal that of a high level Hidou. Curving his body down in a left position, with his body over his blade, Amatsu readied for the stupid attack he was prepared to do. Unleashing his blade he brought it upward with a ever steady smile across his face. As the Zanpakuto arc upward along the condensed chakra sphere Amatsu wondered what would happen next. He didn't have much time to think...

[Well, i'm a little curious. Should you just shatter my blade then I go through what Shinzou did, or what? Just curious as to what shoudl happen after you do whatever]

(( I don't have to shatter you're zanpakutou. I did it last time because I thought it appropriate, given those circumstances. Mock was not about to draw his sword against Shinzou at the time, the natural thing that would happen would be just what I RPed back there.
With you it's different. Either you fight until you get knocked down or until time freezes - in both you get to interact with your Zanpakutou spirit - that's the two most common.

If you still want to get your Zanpakutou shattered, I can arrange that! xp

It's up to you. We don't have to do it right now, we can continue to spar some more. But I understand that you want to rush things up. ))

In the real world, time had stopped for Shinzou's body, but to his mind and soul it seemed like Shinzou had been walking through that desert for hours before the figure's voice came again. "Hmm, he was right you know, you do lack resolve. You'll never get there at this rate." He said as he grabbed Shinzou's hair and jerked his head up sharply. Shinzou had stopped walking when he heard that voice and whipped around when his hair got pulled. "Hey-...." He started to say, but was cut short by a disheartening sight.

As he spun around he found that he stood in exactly the same spot as he had before. Even after all that walking he had made no progress at all. He looked around, mouth agape before turning back to the figure,
"Hey what's the big idea! Why'd you bring me back here!?" He demanded. The figure simply began to laugh his a** off at this. "I didn't bring you anywhere." He said as the laughing subsided. "You aren't going anywhere because you lack the resolve to get there. You don't know why you fight and what makes you keep going, and with out knowing that you can never get anywhere. Sure you can survive, but just surviving is boring boy. Now, what is it that drove you here, why do you think you came?" He asked calmly.

"W-why did I come here!? I didn't come here, I don't even know how I got here!" Shinzou shouted as his breathes became heavy heaves. "That's what you think. Your here of your own free will. Now, you just have tell what it is that brought you here, what keeps you going, what is it that you want?" The figure asked calmly, watching as Shinzou dropped back into thought. His mind raced for a bit before he finally lifted his head and looked at the figure. "I'm here to get stronger." He said with an air of certainty as he stared into the blackness where the figure's face should have been. "Ah, spoke with some conviction this time, good... good."

The figure said no more as he and Shinzou stood there and looked at each other for the longest time. Finally Shinzou turned around and began walking towards a different spire, holding his head high this time. However it slumped after another long while of walking. He turned around once again to find that, just as before, he had made absolutely no progress. "And thus he gives up again." The figure said as it crossed it's arms and looked at Shinzou with that hollow face. "Listen here," Shinzou said as anger dripped from his words, "You better get me the hell out of here, I want to get back to my friends, help them... protect them... be with them, and nothing you can say will change my mind. And I want to prove myself to my Captain, I want to fight him that I'm worthy of staying in the squad and keeping all my friends."

"Is that all you want, is that what you really want?" He ask as his tone became serious. "More than anything." Shinzou said, true conviction in his voice as he too gained an air of seriousness. "Enough to fight for the chance to have all that?" The figure asked as his arms uncrossed. "To the death." Was Shinzou's short and concise answer. All of a sudden the spire came flying in and slammed together, forming something around them. They had formed a giant hourglass, sand hanging in the compartment above, dropping on a stray particle here or there. "There we go, you've figured it out this time. You know what you want now, what drives you, and best of all, you have a desire to fight. You know my name now don't you?" He said, a sly but happy tone entering his voice.

"Yes." Said Shinzou. Suddenly the sand above began to fall to the chamber below, slowly burying them both. "Very good, now... go show them what we're made of." The figure said as the sound of the sand falling became a dull roar. In the real world Shinzou snapped out of his short trance, here it had been only a matter of moments. He stood slowly and looked to the spar happening before him. His hand gripped at the hilt of his Zanpakutou. "Fight me Mock!" He said as he pulled a whole Zanpakutou from his sheath once more.

Due to her low posture meant for speed, Yuki was able to doge the blast of reiatsu by sending her own reiatsu to the souls of her feet to increase her speed. As his attack hit the ground where she had been not two seconds ago, Yuki stopped to make sure the attack hadn't got her. Luckily that last second burst seemed to have saved her, Yuki then started a fast charge at Hishida in what appeared to be a zigzag movement. This was to ensure if he tried to escape to the side she'd catch him. When she was less than a meter away however she stopped the zigzag movement and lunged at the shinigami's stomach before bringing the blade down to the right. As her blade went down Yuki brought the blade back along the same path in the opposite direction, but instead of stopping at the stomach bringing the blade up to his right shoulder, in a similar motion to her first attack. She then quickly ran, not to the right like earlier but to his left and brought her blade down aiming from the left shoulder to right hip.

(( Hum... Amatsu I'm lost. Did you completely dodged the wave, or nullified it? Or did you get some damage? Anyway, I'll move on. ))

Mock let out a sigh. Amatsu was using weird and yet innovative techniques, up until now. His last attack seemed somewhat too blunt for him. Mock wasn't expecting to resort to the same attack again, but he figured that there was no need for something new. Itsuryu.

As the Captain uttered the command word, and brandished his sword in two consecutive strikes, at Amatsu, he released a double attack this time. The nodachi described a "V" shape in front of the Shinigami as Mock first swung it down and then immediately up. The two dark waves spread to each side, targeting both flanks and also the front of Amatsu - like before. This time, the only path he could take to dodge the waves was back, but seeing that the Shinigami was thrusting his Zanpakutou upwards, coming from a near-crouched position, Mock guessed it would be hard for him to immediately be able to contradict his current impetus and leap backwards. Furthermore, the speed of this attacks is incredible. They are already hard to dodge at a considerable distance, let alone at close range.

Amatsu was about to enter a world of pain!

Deviating his attention from his current opponent, MockaDash raised his head, and meet Shinzou in the eyes. The boy was ready for a second round, or so it seemed. Facing his resolve with a smirk, Mock said No. You fight me, Shinzou!

(( Do as you please Amatsu. If you want to get the name now, feel free to. If you still want your zanpakutou to be shattered, it's up to you also. ))
