I waved goodbye to the two as they left and stood, unmoving, not sure what to do now.

I looked at all the books and muttered in awe "Wow!" I looked at some of the books recognizing some of the books and others that were completely foreign to me. "You have quit the collection here Beth, I'm extremely impressed." I also noticed that none of them were fictional. "You must be extremely intelligent to have read all these books. How old are you again?" I was amazed that such a young looking woman would have read these types of books. I smiled at the pathways into other rooms making you feel like you've entered a forest of knowledge.

Bethany blushed so hard at the compliment that the back of her neck was red. "I'm... um... nineteen..." she squeaked out. She stepped to the side so that he could fully enter. The forest of books really didn't allow her to walk around him to close the door. "There's two spare bedrooms... two bathrooms... the kitchen is in the back... There's a dining room, but no table or anything in there. Eat wherever you want, but I would appreciate it if you put the dishes in the sink when you are done. I try to remember to do them before I go to bed every night..." she said, trying not to be embarrassed about the books stacked up everywhere.
[I had to go back and retype this. Evidently I type so fast that Gaia's servers can't keep up or something. Half of the words were missing letters... LOL]

I walked further in allowing her to close the door. "Thank you for your hospitality, this is....wonderful. If you don't mind I would like to do the dishes, that is if you don't mind." I could at the very least do some chores seeing how I'm able to stay here for free. I saw a particular book about wolves and other various animals and picked it up "Do you mind if I read this?", I asked holding the book up.
(goodnight it was very pleasureable rping with you, see you later)

She shut the door, not bothering to lock it. "Well, I don't mind... if that's what you really wanted to do. And yeah, you can read it, since I finished that one months ago." she said sheepishly. "Um... you might want to wear gloves when you come and go... my mom insisted that I get silver-coated doorknobs for the front and back door when she learned that I was moving here..."

I nodded as I took a pair of gloves out of my pack. "Thank you for the heads up. The last person I stayed with had silver bullets and decided to show me rather than tell me." I said with a slight grin at the memory. I tucked the book into my pack as I opened a door to one of the spare bedrooms. "Such a lovely room, thank you again for the hospitality you've shown me." I said to her as I layed my pack next to a dresser.

She nodded as she just barely blushed again. "Sorry it's kinda overrun with books..." she said. She set her book on Quantum physics down on a stack in the living room, and walked into the room he chose, grabbign several books off of a stack on the bed. She tried not to look strained as she carried the heavy books to the living room.
The guest room had one dresser, a walk-in closet, and of course, book shelves filled to the brim. And stacks of books on the floor and bed. Of course.

I watched as she took the books she was carrying into the living room. "No worries I'm just glad to be under a roof tonight. Though tomorrow I'll probably head over to the manor again and see if I can get a room there. That way you'll be able to go back to your normal life. I wouldn't want to impose on your generosity." I walked to the window of the room and noticed it had a clear view of the sky so I would be able to see the moon when it came out. "Pardon me Beth but how long have you been interested in us monsters?" I aksed out of curiousity.

Bethany set the pile down on the living room floor and walked back tot he room to get another stack of them. "Um... about as long as I can remember, I guess." she said sheepishly. "Preternatural life was my minor in college. But reading about it and actually being able to talk and learn from one is completely different. And don't worry, you aren't imposing... it's been kinda... lonely around here lately. My last pair of roomies moved out... six months or so ago... said I was too nerdy... I guess people don't like me much..." she said, sounding just a touch sad.

"You are just a person with a "lust for knowledge" as my father would always say," I grinned at her. "and besides if I ever move into the Manor than I'll come visit you any time so that you don't become to lonely and perhaps you could teach me more about all these books." I said hoping to brighten her mood. I also began to pick up some books and followed her. "Where would you like me to put these?" I aked holding them.

She smiled shyly. "I would be nice to have people over from time to time, I guess... if I could figure out where to put all of my books. I moved my couch and coffee table and TV to the attic because I wasn't using them, and never have guests over..." she said as she walked back into the living room. "Just... put them on another stack." she said, doing the same with the books in her arms. There were only a few more books left on the bed, thankfully.

I placed the stack of books on a pile and went back into the room and picked up another stack. "Do you mind if I go for a jog for a little bit, I could use the time to learn more about this town, and I could use a good run." asking incase she needed me to doing anything. While waiting for an answer I pulled a piar of running shoes and shorts out of my pack.

"Um, no, you can do whatever you want, really. I should have dinner ready by the time you get back. Anything in particular you like to eat?" she asked as she set downthe last few books in the livingroom.

Erik and Sean were gone to God knew where, and I had a huge ******** headache from pretending to be the happy hostess. I wanted to sleep for... forever. But no, I had people to greet. I made my way back downstairs and put on my happy face. "Everyone, just make yourself at home," I declared in a sing-song voice. I made my way into the kitchen. Time for a nice, tall drink.

I shook my head and answered,"No I'm pretty much good on anything." I then went into the room that she let me stay in and got dressed to take a run. Heading out the door I yelled back "Be back soon." With that I took off down the street we had come and took a left. Passing by few people. "Not very many people out today are there...." I muttered to myself.
