((Sorry, finals are here and projects need to be finished.))

Seiko was a little freaked out by reptiles so he was in the wrong spot to begin with. Now that one of them was missing an eye it seemed he was even more creeped out. He was going to kill these little creeps before they got him. As he stared into the one eyed beast he heard and smelt the foul order of something moving in his direction. Quickly spinning to the side the man ripped to more shuriken from somewhere on his person in the motion of dodging. Snarling and flaring his nostrils the man stared down the beast and was warning them they were about to die. "Waruna, give these foul creatures their final rights, before they sail off to the final resting place." Praying over his weapons Seiko would make sure this time, they finished the job.

Seiko spun his body around hoping the added spin and speed would give his shuirken the added kick they needed to kill these annoying little pest. As he felt his speed was as high as he could manage he threw the shuriken and prayed they would hit their mark. These things needed to die and he needed a shower after all this. Besides he was going to have to explain why he was dropping in on someone else mission. Damn Hyugga and her little back water village problems.

(( Please try to remember to specify which frog you're attacking, silly geese. It gets a bit hard to keep track of ^^;; ))

The frog that had attacked Akiko had managed to hit nothing but the bark of the tree where the girl had once been. It didn't understand the concept of jutsu, so in it's mind, her disappearance was much like the disappearance of the big glowing ball in the sky, when everything became dark, and the far trees seemed to vanish as well. As it sat planted against the bark, considering what to do next, it sensed danger approaching, so it sprang from the tree in natural reaction

Before the frog could reach Nadeshiko, it noticed the twinkle of light that bounced off of the girl's shuriken as the weapon glided towards it. It would do its best to avoid the thing that was coming at it and then continue its assault on the girl that had already began, even if it was struck and wounded severely.

The frog with a single eye still managed to feel as though danger was rapidly approaching, and so it did its best to try to move as quickly as possible, but its body was worn by its disease and the previous attack that had crippled its vision. The other frog near Seiko, while in slightly better shape, was in similar danger as it too noticed a glint of light heading quickly in its direction. It did its best to hop as fast and as hard as it could, hoping to avoid the attack.

The frog that had attacked Xyn had tired itself a little, and decided to take a moment to rest as it watched one of its comrades begin take down a bird. It became quite jealous and frustrated with the fact that it hadn't eaten for some time. While the frog that had Muunin near its mouth was in a slightly better mood, its instincts told it that danger was rapidly approaching so it reluctantly let go of the bird and attempted to move away. It hoped that it had crippled the loud bird enough so that it wouldn't be difficult to catch once again.

Akiko's well-placed shuriken met its target with a resounding squash. Her throw knocked the frog onto the ground, and after shaking the weapon free, the amphibian wished to seek revenge against this teleporting monkey. It didn't understand how she had vanished and then reappeared behind it, but at this point, it didn't much care. The infected creature charged at the girl with all its might, intending to knock her off her feet so that it could end these games.

The frog that was charging towards Nadeshiko managed to dodge the weapon that she had thrown in its direction and continued its assault on the girl. Whether it managed to hit her with its attack or not, the frog would then fill itself with air, growing to twice its size, and try to assert its dominance by showing how strong it was.

Miraculously, the frog with the single eye managed to evade the Chuunin's attack and leap to a somewhat safer vantage point in the tree. In its blind rage, it decided to forfeit its safety to launch another attack at the young man, hoping to destroy the one who had robbed it of half of its sight. On the other hand, its nearest comrade wasn't quite as lucky. The Jio's shuriken moved too quickly for it to properly evade the assault, and it exploded into a mess of infectious slime that killed all of the vegetation that it happened to land on.

After having rested itself up, the only frog that hadn't been attacked decided to make the most of its new found energy by targeting the Douken with a tongue attack. After dispatching the boy, it would be free to attack the other frog who had injured the bird, so that it would be able to have the meal for itself. The two shurikens that Xyn had thrown at the frog that had been attempting to eat Munin managed to sheer the creature's front right leg off, and severely crippled its body. It became enraged at the fact that its chance to feed had been compromised, so it too leaped at Xyn and lashed its tongue at the boy, hoping to strangle him into submission.

Munin was free. An overwhelming relief washed over the boy's face before he returned his attention to the frog that had injured the raven. He could see the creature was on it's last leg... literally. He would have moved in for the kill right there, but the other frog was now rushing toward him with an attack. They were coming from both sides, and the Munin's wing had nearly been crushed, so he was probably unable to fly...

Help...

Xyn bit his lip as he made a dash toward his partner and scooped him up before gauging where the frogs' attacks would hit.

"I... I need help!" Xyn was finally able to shout out in the middle of attempting to leap out of the way of the frogs' tongues. With both of them trying to grab onto him, his priority was making sure Munin was safe before he worried about his own safety. The raven was far from dead, but another attack like the previous one might permanently break the poor creature's wing.

The frog he had fooled earlier quickly grabbed a hold of him. That was to be expected since the creature came up behind him while his attention was focused on the other frog. The frog he had injured, however, missed entirely even after the other frog caught him. He could tell that particular frog could easily be defeated with another strike.

That... that didn't work. Munin was disgusted more by the fact that these creatures were more frightening than he was, rather than the fact that some vile liquid was dripping from the tongue that held his wing down. His last option was to sprint toward the frog, but before he could even get to his feet, the frog let go. Still in too much pain to figure out what was going on, Munin checked his wing to see if it could still stretch out. Good, it wasn't broken. The bird flinched as he tried to extend it, but it was a tolerable pain. He thought to try and flap his way to a safe distance, but he felt himself being grabbed again, this time much more gently. This scent... Xyn... the boy had saved him again? Now he understood why the boy always complained about this circumstance. It wasn't a great feeling being saved from a creature that shouldn't have been that much trouble to begin with. Maybe Munin simply underestimated these frogs, they were diseased afterall. He had to think of a way not to be a burden to the boy while fighting these things.

"AAAAWWWWKKK!!" The raven cried out loudly to show the boy that he wasn't hurt that badly. He didn't want to attempt flying again, but he squirmed his way out of Xyn's grip and managed to crawl his way to his usual perch.

"AAAAAAWWWWWWWWKKKK!" Munin wouldn't stand for this disgrace. These frogs weren't going to make him back down. The raven opened his beak wide as if to show he'd rip open and devour the beasts the moment he got the chance, but his attention was mainly on the one that had caught Xyn. The raven knew first hand how much the grip on those tongues could hurt, but attacking the frog on his own would most likely just get himself injured again. His head lowering forward, he made a motion with his wings as if he were about to take off, although he wasn't going to actually try to fly for a while.

Xyn tried to pull himself free, but he was once again amazed at how strong these tiny creatures were. He never imagined they could have such strength. This meant even Munin could be this strong with training. But, what kind of training would it take? Damn it, this whole situation was frustrating. The boy that he was prepared for this type of situation after fighting in the war, but he still had a long way to go.

The boy had managed to protect his vital areas, that was at least a bonus, but now he was caught. There was little point in resisting. He'd cut the frogs down and wait for help to get him free. It was better they were focused on him so that the others didn't have to deal with it.

"First..." Even though he was caught by one frog, Xyn turned his attention to the other. Eventually it would attack him again, and it was already nearly dead. He'd take that one out before handling the one gripping him. He had thrown three shuriken so far... just two left. Spotting the frog and determining where it would try to approach, Xyn threw the shuriken with the intent of striking it before it could strike him, aiming more in front of it than at it. His kunai still in hand, he charged at the frog whose tongue was on him. He'd stab the creature in its mouth and cut the tongue away if that's why it took to get free.

Three left... Akiko needed to focus. She only had three shuriken left, and she needed to make them count. She had proceeded to the edge of the circle of frogs, but in doing so, she put herself in close quarters with one. It began hopping toward her madly, as if it were in a mad charge. She tried to keep a few steps ahead of its moves, but it was unpredictable; its madness prevented any clear pattern. So, she did the best she could and leaped out of the way. The creature barreled past, but Akiko only escaped by less than an inch. She recovered, clumsily standing upright. She realized how fast it had become; she knew she wouldn't last much longer against the creature's speed. Perhaps she would be able to keep up with it if she mimicked its actions. She began jumping around aimlessly, spending as little time on her feet as possible. It was very tiring, but she did find herself surprisingly more nimble. She took a few leaps backward, as if retreating. Then, she jumped back forward, keeping her body weight over her toes. When she got close, she leaped high into the air, sailing straight over the creature. Then, upon landing, she turned around and used her momentum to sling one of her shuriken from her hand and, fate willing, into the beast. Unfortunately, as her hand extended, her wrist twisted around at an odd angle, altering the shuriken's trajectory.

Unfortunately, Sukotto realized that he wouldn't be able to stay out of the fight for as long as he had wanted to. He noticed that one of the frogs was pestering Nadeshiko, and also, Xyn and Munin had their hands full with a couple of the frogs that seemed to be working well together. The Douken boy called out for help, and that's all Sukotto needed to hear in order to act. The Uchiha released his hands from the Ram seal that he had been using to train and quickly made his way towards Nadeshiko, who happened to be closer. Sukotto felt bad about leaving Maia behind, but figured that she was doing fairly well for herself and probably didn't need to be looked after for the time being. The Chuunin launched a flying side kick at the frog nearest Nadeshiko, and hit the ground running in Xyn and Munin's direction. Sukotto had already lined up his sights on the frog that had Xyn trapped with its tongue, and although the boy seemed to be slicing at it with his kunai, it appeared as though the amphibian had the upper hand. Without any hesitation, Sukotto executed a flying front snap kick that would hopefully cause the frog to let go of Xyn, either by its own will, or by having the appendage detached from the force of the blow to its body combined with the strength of its grip on Xyn.

Seiko was beginning to wonder what it was that made these damn frogs so angry, but he didn't really care, he was killing things. That was a large leap from the earth countries soft approach to everything. The frog was coming in for the kill, but flipping to the side of the beast was easy. Pulling a tanto from his side the boy landed. He was going to slice this pesky rascal into sushi. Smiling he licked the blade before he attacked. "Kiss your warty butt good bye you toad face cretin."
