Shadow stood in the far end of the corner, his long mane covering his eyes as he slept as he standed. He was exausted from all the comition the day before.
Amy smiled and hugged Rusher. "Your welcome, Johnson. Would you like me to wash him and then put him out in the pasture?" She asked him as she offered the gelding a sugar cube.

Gwen smiled. "About time."she murmured softly. She gazed up at him happily.
"You'll be a great mother and nothing will go wrong, trust me."Path nickered nuzzling her softly.

"That would be fine Amy. Rusher goes into the pasture with the wild horses, so they can get used to him. Later I'll work with you, I've got a trick that has helped wild horses to accept tame ones and then training." He winked at Amy and patted Rusher's flank before walking off to the dinning hall.
Colonel was a little suprised that she hadn't pulled away from him. He smiled back at her and hooked his arms around her waist. "I thought you would slap me or run off. I'm glad you didn't."
"But Path, I don't want to have the foal here. This place makes me nervous. What if we don't get out and they take the baby away?" Konoha leaned against him suddenly weary of everything. She flicked her ears in random directions. "I'm scared. I don't know if I'm ready to be a parent."

"Hmm.....actually I've been waiting for you to do that."Gwen said smiling softly.
"Don't worry Konoha we will be out of here by then and even if we aren't Gwen won't let them take it away."Path snorted nuzzling her reassuringly.

"Oh realy?" Colonel pulled her closer and kissed her again this time lingering longer.
Konoha nuzzled him back and rested her head on his back. "I still don't trust them, any of them. How can you be sure they wouldn't take the foal away? They took us from our home." She sighed but let the worry slip away. "Your right we've got nine months to get out of here."

Amy smiled at Johnson and said ok, before walking Rusher to the fence where their was a bucket with some water in it used for the horses and another bucket with soap in it. She tied him to the fence and started from the legs up to rinse him off with a damp cloth. After Rusher was all rised off, Amy turned to the water bucket and began to soap the gelding down. After she was done she used little water to rinse him off, again using her damp cloth. She didn't use alot of water but just enough water to get all the soap out of his now wet coat. Once Rusher's coat had no more soap and his coat shined, she groomed the gelding to perfection and made sure he had no rocks in his hooves before giving him a pat. "Good boy." Amy said and offered him another sugar cube before turning him out with the wild horses.
Sundancer waited for Chaos to say something, or Wildfire.

"Well it was nice seeing you two ladies. I got to get to work."Chaos said as his rider untied him and led him away. Wildfire nodded and smiled.
Gwen slipped her arms around his neck prolonging the kiss a bit longer. When he pulled away she smiled. "Really."she said.
"Even if they tried I would not let them. Anyways they probably wouldn't 'cause a foal can't survive without its dam."Path snorted

Sunance smiled and whinnied a good-bye to him. "He's a real gentleman." Sundance said grining. "Is he the daddy of your foal, Wildfire?" Sundance asked.
Amy left the fence and then went into the dining room to eat breakfast.

Sundance grinned and nudged Wildfire. "Your one lucky girl, Wildfire. Any idea of what your going to call the foal?" Sundancer whinnied, smiling, before lowering her head and started to graze.
Amy called the waiter over. She was sitting down at a table by herself with a wolf by her feet. "Can I get....umm some toast, a sunny side up egg a banana please?" Amy asked the waiter who nodded and took down the list of things on his note pad before hurring off to the kitchen.

"Not yet."Wildfire nickered before beginning to graze.
Kavik, Gwen's wold dog, trotted into the dining hall. He noticed Amy's wolf and cautiously moved towards them.

"When is it due?" Sundance asked as she grazed next to Wildfire.The waiter soon came with Amy's food and setted it down on the table. Amy thanked the waiter before spreading butter onto her toast and began to eat her toast. The wolf who was named Bella looked towards Kavik and barked happily at him. She started to thump her tail.((This is Bella ))

"Hmm, well then. Why did I wait so long?" He smiled and held her close. "Unfortunatly we can't stand around here all day. We need to start getting serious with the training of those horses. I want to get Path saddled before the General comes and Konoha at least accepting human contanct." He still hadn't moved away from her. "Though I'm sure we can find plently of time to ourselves during breaks." He grinned at her.
"Your right." Konoha shifted her weight and swished a fly away. "How long till we can get out of here?"

"In about 5 or 6 months I think."Wildfire replied swishing her tail.
"Not until after that leg is healed and I mean it. Oh I think that one mare, Wildfire, is pregnant too from what it sounds like."Path snorted lowering his head to graze.
Gwen grinned back. "That I am sure of. Path is still a bit wary of an tack, but he is progressing. Konoha I'm not sure what to do with her. Maybe Path inherited his tameness from his domestic ancestors."she said, smiling.
Kavik barked back his tail wagging a bit. He walked up to Bella, curious to see who this new wolf was.

"Wow so you still have a little more time before the foal is born." Sundance snorted.
Bella stood up and looked at Kavik as he walked towards her. Amy smiled as she saw the 2 wolves. She tossed a piece of toast towards Bella and Bella jumped up and caught the peice before swalliong it down.
