"The milk shall burn in the fire," Mika replied softly as she continued to walk down the empty streets. She did of course look at the various goods left out on the tops of the stands, she was a shopaholic. Her ear twitched minutely then as she remembered having fun finding all the chests.

She didn't have so much fun looking for those damn puppies though...

"Mmm."

"Milk burning...? What?!" Kiante wondered, though he said it softly. "You really don't make much sense most of the time Mika." He sighed. "So, any idea what we might be looking for. I mean, Sora always found em' with the Keyblade and the help of others...actually he found them rather conveniently. We don't have any of that."

"We will Not be looking for puppies," Mika said quietly. someone needed to leash them. "the greatest treasure always has the biggest guard, the greater the darkness surrounds, the closer to our goal."

I get sunburned easy smartone! anyways, the keyhole is probably surrounded by a crapload of bad guys and a boss battle. Like it is in every friggin game!

((The italics in that one was hilarious!))

Kiante got the next one right away, it was rather obvious after all. "Good point! Well, let's look for some darkness."

Meanwhile...

Genkoku paced back and forth. His plan seemed to be working well. He smiled, clearly pleased with himself. The master would be pleased as well he was sure. Though that wasn't really the point. It was more about his own gratification.

Their king would be there soon, and Genkoku would be ready. He wouldn't fail like his subordinates had. He laughed softly, as his appearance changed. He now had white feathery wings and a white robe. He even conjured a halo, just for fun. He kept a dagger in a hilt hidden behind his back. His skin was creamy white. This deception would be easier than the First.

The moogle came to itself not far away, back in the trees again. He looked at his little paws in horror, wondering what inside him had been so terrible that he could have been so easily manipulated.

"Well, brothers, I'll see you soon, kupo," he sighed to himself. "Be strong Mr. Mouse, sir, kupo-po."

Soon the only thing left was a small heart, making its lonely way to the sky.

~

Mickey walked cautiously, deeper into the city, keyblade ready. Maybe he was going way out of his league, but it was the best he could think to do.

In, out, in, out, he thought to himself, concentrating on his breathing, calming himself, making sure he was fully aware of each and every thought in his head.

As the mouse walked futher on, suddenly he came upon an area where there were no buildings at all. Instead, there was a small, unassuming gate, maybe what one might find surrounding an old hermit's house in the forest.

He tried to open the gate, but it proved surprisingly stubborn.

The King then turned again, his back to the gate, and called out again. "Where are you? Come out...I know you're here." He could feel it, an uneasy presence flooding his brain, trying to overcome him.

Sora grab grabbed Kairi and dragged her or in a random direction which happened to be the same direction the King had went. After a bit of fast walking Sora laugh awkwardly but didn't say anything.

"Curiousity mostly. I just wanted get an idea of how Angels happened. You're story appears to be rather singular however."

Zolx drifted for moment, "I don't remember much of my past either. I have plenty of Memories floating through my head, but they don't seem to match up. I remember getting alot of negative attention for my ear mostly." They perked up as if hearing their name.
"I remember wish I could just leave, fly away you know? At the same time though I wanted to be able to be me where ever I was. Like I said my memories don't match up. I do know that where I used to be was attacked, I remember being up on at the roof of my old school after hours when I heard screams and all of these little shapes started floating into the sky. It Pandemonium as far as the eye could see. I later figured out that it was heartless that destroyed the town. As far as I know I'm the only one that survived, if you can call it that." Zolx' wings withered slightly as he thought about it. Looking around he sighed rather dryly.
"Who is the only person that knows what we are looking for? The answer to that question is the same as the one to, Guess who's gone?"

Genkoku had hidden himself at first, but now he wanted to be seen. As he walked over to the mouse, he became visible to the physical world. He tapped on the mouse's shoulder, a bit higher than his own head now (he made himself look like a child). "Excuse me mr. mouse," He said in an innocent child-like voice, "Could you open that gate for me? My friends are in there waiting. I seem to have lost my key, but yours looks like it'll fit."

Kya let out a small laugh, "Yeah he is pretty secretive isn't he." She looked away. "My turn for a question... how did you get your wings?"

Mickey jumped at the tap and whirled, ready to strike. But at the sight of the child, he lowered his keyblade.

"What..." he gasped in shock, "what are you doing here? Are you all alone?"

Suddenly the intangible presence around him got stronger. He looked around anxiously. "I don't think this place is safe for you..." he said to the kid.

Akiko walked on for a little longer and then saw that no one was following her.

"Hm...well, that sucks," she said, biting her fingernail and looking around, wondering where everyone had gone.

"Well, I'm sure I'll be fine by myself. After all, I'm pretty good at magic and stuff now," she reassured herself, and continued on. The path she took ran opposite that of Kiante's and Mika's, perpendicular to that of Sora's and Kairi's (along the path that ran by the forest).

She saw Zolx and Kya floating in the air and waved to them obnoxiously, jumping up and down, not really sure they could see her.

Mika didn't really have anything to say, nothing came to mind, no emotions other than how irritating the sun was and why it couldn't be snowy, dark, and the keyhole couldn't be located somewhere in Norway. That was a good place to find darkness. And her clothing might be not so friggin hot!

"Shall we follow th sun or head to the moon?"

east or west?

Kiante stopped for a moment, and looked around. The darkness wasn't as obvious here on Earth as it had been in the games. And that kinda stank. But he had an idea.

"Let's go East, the Temple Mount is that way. If it's such an important place, maybe the Keyhole will be there."

Meanwhile...

"Yes mister." The boy replied, looking down at his feet, a bit nervous now, "My friends and I were playing out here, but they went back in and shut the gate without me. I can't get back in. Please, you can help, can't you mister?" He asked, now looking at the mouse longingly.

Mickey stared at the kid some more. The only survivor they'd met besides Akiko and her friends...all alone, apparently with no clue as to what was going on. It was pretty strange.

"Look," he told the boy, though all the while glancing all about him (knowing full well he wouldn't be able to see the demon), "I don't think you should go anywhere. There...there are dangerous creatures around here. I'll go look for your friends, but I think you should go. I have some friends of my own around here, just go that way and follow the road and you'll find them in a train." He pointed to show the way.

((sorry, the musical's this weekend and I'm killing my sleep schedule even more just by being on here now...))

"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars," Mika sang quietly. What could she say, she liked that song! Especially the slow version that was somewhat meloncholy and sad.

"What stars are hiding in the sunshine engraved boxes?" Mika asked herself, and partly Kiante. She'd just seen a treasure chest! As a person who enjoyed things and money, that kicked a lot of a**.

Walking over to the red and gold box she knelt down and delecately opened it.

He noticed Akiko waving but ignored her.
"Had them since the attack, along with Olz," he said pulling his baton out.
The snowflake was currently attached so the weapon was crystaline. It shimmered in cold steely blues in the sunlight.
"I'll put them away if you like."
They shrank until they dissappeared under his jacket and he landed right where he had been gliding. He was now standing quite solidly on thin air.
"While they do make flying alot smooth adn fluid, they aren't nessescary. I don't do alot of flying in general as people get spook easily. You can thank the demon attacks for that. The wings seem to be more exceptable than just being airborne. Coarse there are always misunderstandings."
Zolx turned his back to Kya and pulled his shirt over his head. with his arm still in his sleeves his bare back was now visible. a thick smattering of scars similar to those covering Kya's body snake across the surface. All of them had ragged edges, more rips then cuts. in the center of his back was a something of a tatoo. the center was a white heart symbol, on either side was a white feathered wings as well as a pair of black bat wings. all the scars passing through it seem like a bramble of thorns holding it in place.
