Posted: April 26, 2008New Faces ~ cont. "In that it seems" he smiled as he looked over her memorizing her as he did normally for most he met.
She doesn't say anything but reaches a hand over her shoulder scratching her shoulder blade just above one black circle, she was debating silently in her mind
He watched her and wondered what the markings where but didn't dare ask
"Tell me about yourself?" she suddenly asks, she never looked away from the water
"I am Tenor a wonder for the most part" he replied softly almost afraid
"A wonder?" she looks up at him raising a brow, her hand that had been scratching her back now simply resting on her shoulder
"a traveler ya know going around seeing everything" he replied looking at her
"oh a wanderer" she nods understanding what he meant now. "You seem one who is always curious too"
He looked at her "I like to learn about the new areas i am in se things"
"That makes sense. It makes a lot of sense..." she sighs and stands up, "do you like to climb?" she suddenly asks looking towards some cliffs across the water
He looked over to the cliff "it is fun one of the fastest way to travel over things" he smiled
"Want to?" she asks though knowing the time it would take to get there would be a little while
"umm sure" he replied it had been a while since he climbed it would be fun
Shicala scoops up her cloak and shirt and heads along the beach towards the cliffs
He swiftly follows her
Was a good 15 minutes before they reach the base of the cliffs and sets down the cloak and shirt behind a rock "Okay, you first" she says with a smile
He smiled and began to climb looking for his foot hold and hand hold as he went
She let him get a couple feet up and then followed suit after wrapping her tail around her waist like a belt
He moved what to him seemed quickly the cliff wasn't all that bad
She didn't speak until they were near the top "I usually do this solo..." she muses aloud to him.
"wow" he smiled sitting at the edge "that is some climb"
She doesn't finish the climb, just holds the rock face looking up at him without a word. She couldn't help but wonder what had really made him follow her that day...
He smiled looking down at her offering her a hand
She did not take his hand, she was still holding the rock face and leaning back just a bit as she looked up. She had a look of debate in her eyes, wordless debate.
He looked down at her in question
Without warning she let go with a smile
His eyes shot wide "hey" he shouted trying to reach down and grab her
He didn't catch her, her eyes shut and in no more then 2 seconds she was falling backwards, but, she did not seem upset by this despite how high up they were
He looked down in horror
A second later she was turning her body in the air, and the purpose of the 2 black circles was revealed as from each of them a large black draconic wing unfolds catching the updraft easily
He looked at her in total shock "no way" his voice squeaked
She swoops down almost to the water before lifting back into the air over the water, before too long she was beginning to head back in his direction
He watched her in total relief his heart would stop racing when she reached him
She stops a couple feet out from the edge of the cliffs just hovering in front of him, "Did I scare you?" she asks innocently
"Yes" he replied looking at her with a light smile
"Sorry, I do tend to return to the bottom like that, I was kinda wondering what you'd say or do... you didn't really seem surprised by the rest of my features" she glides forward and to one side landing lightly on her bottom beside him
"nice way of testing it then" he laughed out looking over at her as she did
She starts to laugh as well "besides my son, and Dragono, you are the only one here who knows I have them." she watches his reaction.
He looked a little off at her comment 'son.....she does not look that old at all' he thought "it is truly an honor" he smiled bowing slightly
"Honor? Well dunno about honor, but something unlike others anyways. Somehow I feel like I can trust you" She pauses and watches him, she didn't notice another figure below them on the beach walking towards the cliffs, was the male she had been talking to in the market earlier, the tall one with midnight blue hair and silver streaks
He looked down over the water "Trust me?" he asked most people had would of found him the opposite his style seemed to push people away
"Yeah...Does that strike you as odd or something?" She tips her head to one side and watches him.
"Hey Mom! You gonna come home for dinner or what?" the male shouts up at them from the bottom of the cliffs near where Shicala had left the cloak
Tenor looked over at the figure below 'that's her son!' his mind shouted 'no way she has to be in her 20's' he looked from her to the figure below
Shic turns her head "Yeah Sur, I'm coming" she looks back at him "Would you like to join us?"
Surion nods, unlike his mother at that moment he still wore his ring, concealing his true appearance
"No I don't wanna intrude" he smiled lightly at her
"It's not an intrusion, it's an invitation" She replies lightly before standing up
He smiled "Oh well..." he looked at her and smiled lightly
"Well make up your mind.. and I'll give you a lift down" she laughs
He smiled "alright ill join u" he laughed "how deep is the lake and how big is this drop" he asked
"The lake is pretty deep, as for the drop, a couple hundred feet or so... But I can carry you if that's not good" she laughs
"Hurry up mom, dinner is getting cold!" Surion looked just about as old as his mother
He laughed "nah all i will get is a few bruises" he smiled and flipped up into and stand taking a few steps up he ran and jumped to the lake
Shicala watches him and laughs before diving off the cliff wings spread wide skimming the water and coming to land beside her son who was a couple inches taller and folding her wings away.
Tenor had landed in the water with a splash. The drop wasn't to bad he would come up swimming for shore his cloak no longer on his body showing his normal dress
Shicala was putting her ring back on as he exited the water "You are missing something" she comments taking in his appearance
"Dernd sjieo jasi" Surion whispers to his mother
"Surion I'll tell you later" she mumbles back to him
He slicked his silver hair back "damn it" he groaned looking for the floating gray clump of cloth
Shicala laughs and her eyes became green and she moves the water trying to aid the search
He saw it floating around the point of impact "one sec" he smiled and dove in after it
She slips her shirt on while she waits and grabs up her cloak, if he looked back at the pair they'd be talking to each other quietly
He reached shore slipping his cloak on "sorry about that"
Surion looks up "That's fine, I'm Surion.... Mom says you are Tenor?" he pauses a moment after speaking before starting to head along the beach Shic moving along the beach as well
"Nice to meet you" he smiled "yes i am tenor"
"Nice to meet you too, hope you like stew" he lifts a hand to stroke the head of the jaguar patterned dragonette on his shoulder
"Sounds great" he smiled looking over at the animal and the woman walking
"Good, cause we made lots" Surion hums as they walk
"Tenor, meet my son by the way, he's kinda... not really open about things" Shic explains as Surion grows quiet once more
He smiles lightly "I can tell"
Shicala laughs "Oh can you?" she pushes her hair over her ear as they near the city once more
"Mom, I'm going to shift after dinner, I'm still trying to sort that out" he was being vague "I'll see you at the inn" he runs ahead, not saying more leaving Shic and Tenor walking
He smiles and nods watching
"Well I guess it's just us till we get back to the inn, Surion wants to remember our past, me, well lets just say I have this deep down feeling that there's nothing in the past for me to need... or want to remember" She tries to explain as they walk
He smiled lightly "if it was meant for you to remember then u would of" he looked from ahead to her
"That's just it, he feels there is something for him, so he keeps going back, back to where Dragono says we came from, our loss of memory was an accident, when he brought us here" she looks towards him as she speaks
He nodded "like i said if it was meant to be then it would of been. What ever you were to forget was meant"
Shicala nods and soon stops in front of an inn "we're here, come on in" she opens the door and heads inside, a moderate number of people were there, many were eating, including her son
He smiled "thanks"
She heads for a table which was in a corner, her son was sitting eating and reading. She glances at a calendar on her way and does a double take "geez time flies, even now" she sits and motions Tenor to join them
"Till what mom" Surion asks between bites, not looking up
"Your birthday is soon" she replies simply grabbing a bowl of stew
Tenor sat down and followed her actions
Shicala takes several bites then taps her chin "How old are you?" she asks Tenor abruptly
He looked over at her "21"
"21 eh, that's just a few years younger then me" she smiles and returns to her stew, her son didn't look up from his book
He smiled as he ate
Surion stands at the end of his mean "Nice to meet you, mom I'll be back soon" he says before tucking his book into his cloak and wanders off leaving them alone once more
"Do you like it?" She asks Tenor after the young man leaves, she's referring to the meal
" Its great thanks" he smiled looking at her
"Good..." she pushes her empty bowl away "Hard to believe he's almost three.... Anyways, are you sticking around, or wandering to another city?"
"I will stay till i get bored then leave travel to another one" he answered smiling
"Bored? I see" she leans on her elbows, she was exploring his appearance, she wondered what usually caused him to get bored.
He smiled running his had though his hair quickly
"Well, I can't say I have many to just talk with that I do on a regular basis, besides Dragono... I guess I can hope you'll stick around for a while" she didn't look away
He smiled "We'll see depends on the fun around here" he adjusted his cloak slightly
"Well that would all depend on what you call ... 'fun' " she laughs
"See how long it take me to explore the area i tend to stay just a little bit longer if i make friends
" he replied smiling
"Makes sense by me" she nods and leans back and watches him
He smiled "so what's interesting around here?" he asks relaxing
"Well to be honest, not a ton, I tend to do the same thing all the time, Explore, practice what Dragono has been teaching, and go to Skullport, that's about it really" She smiles
He nods listening
"So I cant really promise you many .... interesting things but, I think you could find a friend or two" she tells him
"People can be just as interesting" he smiled at her
"I suppose so... have you found any that are in that description as yet?" she leans on the table once more playing with the ring on her right middle finger
"oh how knows one or two" he smiled
"Oh really?" she raises a brow
"Yes really" he smiled
She laughs "Well I'm glad you have found some"
He smiled "so am i"
"Anything you might like to do or just sit and chat" she smiles softly and watches him
"sit and chat..... what ever" he smiled
"Well lets at least find somewhere more comfortable to do that then" she laughs and stands up scooping up her cloak
He smiled and stood stepping out of her way so he could follow her
She leads him through the in to a room that had books and chairs and then drops into a chair "Grab a chair" she motions and pulls her legs up under her "I've asked you a bunch of questions, do you want a turn now?"
he looked around in awe and didn't hear her
"Tenor? Are you ok?" she raises a brow as she looks and sees his expression
"oh yeah sorry" he smiled sitting down
She laughs and shakes her head "Doesn't take much to distract you"
"no sorry i like to look around sorry" he smiled
She laughs again and relaxes "So was there anything you might like to ask me?"
"do you live here?" he asked thinking of what else to ask
"Well, actually yes, most of the time we do..." She tips her head to one side
"why don't you show your true form to others and why do you trust me?" he asked looking at her
She blinks "Well..." she pauses and looks at the ring on her finger that matched the one her son wore "That would be because there's no one around this region that is anything like us, and it would cause a stir that I don't really want to deal with. I usually only take this off out by the lake, where no one has found me before today, or in my room"
"I am still so sorry about that" he smiled
"I just ask you not tell anyone what you've seen please, I feel I can trust you in that... To keep my secret... please" she watches him intently
" I promise" he smiled softly " what makes you feel you can trust an outsider like me?"
"I don't know, I honestly don't" she leans forward "There's just something about you..." she pauses "Something that makes me feel I can"
He laughed lightly " I seem to have that effect on people"
She smiles and laughs "Yeah... you do... And I'm glad, before today the only other person I've put my trust in here besides Surion is Dragono... "
"Dragono?" he asked raising his eyebrow
"He's the man who brought us here, has grown to be a good friend, supportive of myself and my son, teaching us, and helping us" She nods
" oh" He smiled "well I don't know what else to ask i am interested in the area and people"
She nods listening to him speak "Well, much as it might sound odd, I hope you stick around"
He smiled "thanks
Shicala stretches "No problem..." she glances at the time
"I should get going the sun is starting to pass the horizon" he smiled lightly
She nods "All right, it was nice to visit with you, I do hope I'll see you around again.." she pauses looking down at her hands "and thanks for saying you wont tell anyone what you saw today"
He gave her a light bow and smile "It was my honor" he smiled leaving the way he came in he would sleep out in the forest he thought of heading to the lake
She watches him leave and then wanders off to her own room to think
He reaches the lake and lays his cloak out and went to gather would for a fire

Posted: April 26, 2008 ((Open RP Transcribed from pages 986-989))Glass Horses & Talks Surion Rakamash Surion wanted to get away from Faerun, least for a few hours, there was still things in the world of Gaia he wanted to remember, well... technically a LOT he wanted to remember. And far too many questions that were unanswered. His mind was also wishing to not think about the new male that had befriended his mother.
He plane-shifts into the world of Gaia, taking his ring off so that his true appearance was obvious as he moves through the city, a dragonette on each shoulder. Eventually he finds himself at the GMFC building once more and he enters looking around Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres laughed at something Sky had said to her as they entered the clinics waiting area. It had been about a week since the birth of Natalia. Having throughly rested up she was ready for the 'world' again. She couldn't take another day of bed rest. Sky was still cautious of Ceres and Natalia. With good reason. It was through his eyes that Ceres could see, but his daughter couldn't see at all. He insisted on helping Ceres sit on an empty spot on the floor. Natalia was cradled in her mothers arms. She clutched the blanket possessively, and sucked her thumb. Surion Rakamash Surion sees the woman and the child and nods his hello "Hello" the tall male greets her as he moves to take hte cloak off and set it on a chair" Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres turns her head in the direction of the voice, but looks off in another direction. Her issues with site are now apparent. "Hello. I am Ceres, and this little one is Natalia." She pulls her long blond hair with silver streaks over her shoulder. "And, I'm Sky." Sky's could speak human, but he was slow. He remained standing, and at 6'2 he towered over those in his care. Surion Rakamash Once he'd set his cloak on the chair, the red psudo dragon who had been sitting on his shoulder drops onto it almost as if to protect it. "I'm Surion" he introduces himself after a moment. His height wasn't far off from Sky's. Surion looks around for other's his long dark bangs covering half of his face and his right eye. Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Sky looked the dragon boy over, every inch of him. And, with those moments Ceres did the same. It was almost eerie the way they were in sync with each other. "You seem harmless enough..." Ceres said softly as she pushed her tail against her body. "Join us Surion." She patted the floor next to her. Surion Rakamash Surion raises a brow at her assessment of him but after a moment moves towards them and takes a seat, the jaguar patterned dragonette which had remained on his shoulder skitters down into his lap and then creeps forward looking to see the infant
"How old is your clutch" he inquires after watching hte dragonette peer into the bundle. Kawaii_Hime_Ceres "Close to a week." Ceres smiled when Sky sat next to her and kept his eyes on Natalia. "Natalia let mommy have the blanket for just a second. Someone wants to see you." She spoke soothing tones to the child. Natalia's eyes looked in the direction of the voice, but that was about the extent. She gurgled in disapproval as her blanket was taken. But, further than that made no possessive movement, she was trusting her mother. "Thank You." Ceres touched the little girls cheek. "She's got her fathers beautiful physical features, but my genetics. She is blind. She won't learn her gift till she is of age." Surion Rakamash The dragonette skitters off Surion's lap, and onto Cere's lap. 'Little person bonded, little person, not seen little person in long time' it chitters allowed but it's speaking in Surion's head"Natalia... is she named after anyone" Surion inquires to the infant's mother. Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres chuckled as she returned the blanket to her child, and rested her hand on the dragonette that and come to rest in her lap. She could find no harm in anything. "She isn't named after anyone that I know of... She is named for the meaning behind the name. 'Gift'." Ceres blushed a little. "I am 450 years old by my biological clock. I am a virgin. Sky was kind enough to allow himself to be transformed from Pegasus to human in order for this child to be born." Sky put his hand on Ceres' shoulder. Surion Rakamash His eyebrows raise "450 years, that's a far cry from my almost 3 years. I could understand the choice of that name, it's very suitable to how the child came to be by the sounds of it" He pushes his long bangs over one of his pointed ears. He watches the child and smiles, his eyes shift to an emerald green color and he forms a small ball of water over his hand it slowly was changing shapes. He wasn't sure why but he could sense he'd done this for another child in the past. Senti pushes his head slightly into the hand liking the attention he was chittering up a storm, only Surion understanding what the dragonette was saying Kawaii_Hime_Ceres "I wish I could understand you." Ceres' chuckled petting the little guy in her lap. "But, we aren't on my island. Thus I am limited. But perhaps with permission you would like a treat?" She didn't reach for her bag just yet. Though she didn't look directly, with Sky's eyes on Surion, Ceres knew what was going on. "Is that an ability or a gift?" She asked intrigued by him. She looked away for a moment to check on Natalia. Surion Rakamash Senti looks up at her looking rather to like that idea"He can have a treat" Surion gives his ok. The ball of water continues to change the shapes from basic shapes to little animals and toys. "It's an ability that my race can do" he replies to the male's question Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres reached for her bag. She opened the bag widely so the world could see what was in it. She reached in and dug around blindly. "Lets see... Fruit or Meat." She smiled. "It seems like it would be a very useful ability." Sky gave a soft whinny as he shook his head out of habit. His Pegasus like movements still took over every now and again. Natalia gurgled at all the sounds. Her eyes shifted, but her body didn't. She was content to have her blanket, and her thumb. Surion Rakamash Senti chitters happily watching the woman move, and looking into her bag, his interest in the infant currently lost"He's a meat eater." Surion replies, he pulls the ball of water back to himself turning it into a little horse. His other hand soon containing a figure matching it but made of pure energy "I vaguely remember learning to control it, but it's not really hard, kinda like riding a bicycle." He smiles softly bringing his hands together, a small burst of light coming from between his fingers Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres pulled out a container that contained an undressed sandwhich. She opened it, and removed the bread. She sat the meat on the lid, and placed it before the critter in her lap. "It's ham." She chuckled. "Enjoy." "Often times things aren't forgotten, just misplaced in memory." Sky smiled towards Surion still intrigued by what he was doing. Surion Rakamash It didnt take more then a moment for the jaguar patterned dargonette to chitter his thanks happily and dig into the meat"No... I'm meaning I really dont remember, much like I dont remember most of my life" He tries to explain. He pulls his hands apart and on his palm, now a crystal horse that was almost purely clear with only a very light hint of blue. He smiles softly for a moment before the smile slips away and he looks at the male "There is much I cannot explain, and people here who seem to remember me, but I really do not know them." He offers the crystal horse to Sky Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Sky looked at Surion with a look of awe. Purely amazed as he took the crystal horse. "It is beautiful." He said inspecting the figure. "I am still amazed how you did this." "Memory is a fickle things." Ceres said feeling about the floor till she found her bag again. She pulled the flap over the opening with a smile. "There is much I cannot remember. It is nothing to be ashamed of. It happens." Surion Rakamash Surion hands the horse to Sky and then drops his hands into his lap. "Nothing really, that's what happens when my energies and waters come in contact." He pauses looking at the female only just then figuring out her vission was gone "I'm not ashamed... I'm trying to remember, but so far not succeeding. Last time I was here I ran into a redheaded male and a female who both seemed to know me, but I don't know who they are... and the redhead, Elliot I think his name was told me she was named Tinania, which matched this ring, but.." he shakes is head "I have no idea... hopefully one day I will.. I feel like I'm missing something" Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Sky continued to to be interested by the Crystal Horse. Ceres felt for the end of her hair, and she played with the tips of it. Her fingers curling circles. "I know how it feels to be missing something..." She didn't smile, but her features were still gentle. "Is there a medical condition associated with your memory loss?" She asked trying to not show concern. Ceres' attention was momentarily averted as she heard Natalia start to cry. She knew it was due to hungry. Out of memory she reached out to where her baby last was. "Do you mind if I nurse her? I can cover up with a blanket." She didn't want to embarrass anyone. Surion Rakamash Senti finishes the ham he'd been given and then skitters back onto Surion's shoulder curling up contently, his long tail wrapping instinctively around his upper arm"No, not medical, magical.... accident, mom too" he didnt really want to go into much more details, he didn't almost ever tell anyone, he was very quiet about it. "I dont mind if you feed, all persons need to eat" Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Ceres nodded as she shifted her breast out her top and positioned her child so that she could feed. "Well, all magic has a 'cure'. It just takes time... And, sometimes with time the magical elements fade and dwindle." She smiled reassuringly. "The question you have to ask yourself... Are you prepared to remember what you have forgotten?" Surion Rakamash "I live in a world of magic, and even the person who caused it does not know how to fix it... So I'm left with trying to learn it myself." He pauses listening to the rest of Ceres' words. "You know, knowing something would be better then knowing nothing and having that huge empty hole in one's history" he sighs Kawaii_Hime_Ceres "I beg to differ..." Ceres said as she tucked herself back into place when Natalia had her fill. She held her over her shoulder to burp her. "When I was a little girl... And, not by human standards, although I looked six. I learned a terrible secret. You see I grew up thinking my mother was dead... Come to find out she was very much alive." She sighed softly, it still hurt to tell this story. "She is a tree on our island. A very wise ol' soul full of despair, and with good reason. For you see pregnancy is to bring joy, but to the Maidens of the island like myself it is nothing more than procreation, and the meaning of our end." When Sky offered to take Natalia she smiled, and nodded her head. The baby carefully exchanged parents. "My mother didn't want that in life, she wanted to love and to be free. She looked very much like the first maiden, and the island loved her, and grew angry when she had learned to love. For love is taboo. It messes with our purpose." She took a long still moment to blink. "The island took shape, and did a terrible thing. She was raped, and in all her sadness she had me. She sent me back to earth, another forbidden thing... My father also defiant of traditions set out to find her... He is now a tree also." "Some days I wish I was still that innocent girl with a mother who I thought was dead, and had a single father. No responsibility to the place of my birth. But the island depends on me, as I depend on it..." Ceres swallowed harder than she had meant to. "Knowledge is power, but at what cost." Surion Rakamash Surion frowns hearing the story "I'm sorry to hear that, I hope if I find my past it isn't so... bad" he sighs "I'm sorry I need to head out, mom has been hanging out with this new guy and I'm a lil worried about her" he stands up nodding to her before scooping up his cloak, the psudo dragon jumping to his shoulder as he puts it on to head out. Kawaii_Ceres_Hime Ceres nodded her head. "Good luck with that. May we meet again."

Posted: April 30, 2008Wide Eyes, Flashbacks & New Things to Think About Surion was still thinking about his conversation with the young ... if you could truly call her young... mother and the infant. Part of him really was scared to find the truth of his past... But then, to know something... anything would be better then not knowing anything at all.
He walks slowly through the city nearing a park, which is where he usually entered the forest to shift back to the plane to return to Faerun
Just then, a soccer ball, stained with dirt and grass, bounces past, with a very large (for her age), cow-pattered girl chasing after it. "I GOT IT, SOF, I GOT IT!" She shouts, not even looking where she's going as she single-mindedly chases after it. Distracted Surion barely jumps back in time to avoid the young girl. "Whoa..." he says, more startled then anything as the ball... and girl sail past
"Sorry!" Caroline shouts back, though her tone of voice is anything but. A pause as she collects the ball, and then a glance up at the stranger. "Watch where you're going! I could'a hit you!" The single brow the young woman would be able to see raised "Really now?" he rubs a temple a moment before continuing, a light headache beginning to form "Watching where we are going is a two way street, we both could avoid collisions"
"Usin' big words doesn't make you smarter," Caroline argues, folding her arms across her chest. A shout in the distance and she whirls briefly to shout "GIMME A MINUTE! I'M COMIN'!" in reply before turning her attention back to Surion. "An' the ball rolling gives me... um.... " another pause. "Right away." "Right.. right of way huh" the draconic Kersallian male looks distantly past her to her friends on the grass. "Not sure about that but..." he sighs glancing around for a place to sit, he was beginning to feel things he could vaguely remember feeling in the past.
With that, Sofi jogs toward the pair, face red from exertion and her wheezing sounding not unlike the braying of a donkey. "Not..." wheeze. "S'posed..." wheeze. "T'talk...." wheeze. "T'strangers!" "Aw, c'mon!" Caroline whines. The arrival of the second kid did not entirely go noticed by Surion, whose hands were both on his temples eyes shut, his headache becoming harsher and not from listening to Caroline's banter about who had right of way on the path.
Uh oh. This isn't a good sign. Caroline senses the ping of pain, while Sofi remains completely deaf to such projections. "Uh," Caroline begins. "The ball didn't hit you, did it? Sof's sorry if it did." "Hey!" Sofi argues loudly, stamping a foot in indignation. "It stayed on the ground! The ground! There's no way it hit the guy in the head! And he's probably just got a headache because you're yelling, I bet!" "Nuh-uh!" Caroline shoots back. "Uh-huh!" "Nuh-uh!" "Uh-huh!" "Nuh-uh!" "I'm older!" Sofi finally declares, as if that would win her the argument. "I'm better at soccer!" Caroline argues without missing a beat. "I'm taller!" Dead silence, until finally... "Maaaaaaaaaaaan," Caroline whines. Looks like the Fa'e won that round. During the entire little argument the male had sunk down till he was sitting on his knees. He didn't even realize little things about him were changing, in his head small flashes, of faces, places, things of the past were what he saw. The obvious things that were changing physically as the two small dragons that were with him moved around him fast were a slight amount of his horns, and his overall height but just a little
"Whoa, whoa!" Sofi finally cries out, kneeling in front of Surion. "That's so cool!" "Whoa!" Caroline echoes. "He's getting bigger!" Surion was rubbing his temples, he was still seeing glimpses of lost memories, never a full memory, just a flash of an image. And if the two kids thought what they'd already seen was cool, it was about then that Surion's wings decided they needed air to do their final growth and they slip out the nodes in his back and through the invisible seams in the back of his shirt pushing his cloak aside as they did
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" Sofi and Caroline say in unison, their eyes wide with awe. For a while, neither of them dare say more. Hell, they barely even BREATHE. But then Caroline breaks the silence. "Do it again!" The two wings extend to their fullest before lazily folding behind him "Ow" Surion finally says aloud, there was a light coming from behind his bangs, from the gem on his forehead, just a light one but it was there "I would rather not do it again" he nearly whispers.
The jaguar patterned dragonette was quickly back on his shoulder chittering a storm up with Surion swatting at it almost as if to tell it to shut up
The red psudo dragon on the other hand was still pacing around Surion on the ground looking back and forth between him and the two kids
"C'mon!" Caroline urges, reaching out to poke Surion. "Do it again! Again! C'mon! Do it again! C'mon! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?" Surion opens his eyes and looks at the kids, he still hurt and it could be seen in his eyes "Why do you want me to do ... whatever just happened... again"
Oh, like Caroline cares about other peoples' pain. If she were her mom, she would, but the fact of the matter was, she wasn't. So there. "Because it was freakin' AWESOME!" She nearly sings. "Yeah," Sofi agrees, a little less enthusiastically. "My eyes nearly fell out of my head!" "If you do it again," Caroline urges, a coy smile on her face, "Her eyes MIGHT REALLY DO IT." "What is it that I did that was so interesting" he did not entirely realize what had just happened. He was now far more confused then ever he not only had Ceres' conversation but flashes of things he did not entirely know.
"You grew!" Caroline answers. "We could see you do it!" Sofi continues. "Right before our eyes!" Caroline picks up. "Your horns got bigger!" "Your wings got bigger!" "Your REST OF YOU got bigger!" And finally, they both speak in unison again. "SO COOL!" Surion stares at the pair for a time and then looks at his hands, they didn't seem all that much different, but yet, they were different, and his clothing did not feel all that tighter. "I don't think I could repeat that even if I wanted to... I didn't even expect this..."
Maybe it's time to change the subject. "I'm Caroline," she cuts in. "Caroline Keth." "And I'm Sofi Keth!" The older, more normal of the two continues. "We're cousins." "Sort of." "Well, she's my mom's cousin." "My dad is her mom's mom's brother." Sofi clarifies, as if Surion doesn't understand what "cousins" means. Surion pushes to stand swaying a moment and then catching his balance as the psudo dragon moves back to where it was supposed to be "Caroline, and Sofi" he nods "I'm Surion" he did not give a last name to the pair.
"That's kinda funny!" Caroline giggles. "My mom knows a Surion too!" A brow raises "Who is your mom?" he inquires a moment later
"Lu," Sofi answers quickly. "Lu?" The name wasn't familiar when he heard it
"Short for Luna." "Luna.." he had to think for a moment "From the clinic?"
"Yep!" Caroline answers with a bright grin. "She's the counselor!" "I remember her, I spent some time talking to her last time I came here from Faerun, she's easy to talk to" his impression was that Caroline was proud of her mom
Caroline turns her attention back to the ball, humming happily. "...So where you goin'?" Sofi finally asks. Surion chuckles as he listens to her hum, the glow from his gem slowly fades till it was gone "Well... I was headed to Faerun" he tells Sofi, Surion's wings spread and then fold and then slip back into the nodes in his back.
"Don't let us keep you." Sofi smiles a bit lopsidedly. "We gotta be getting back to Aunt June's soon." "Awwwwwww," Caroline groans. Surion smiles "I take it you don't want to go back to your aunt's Caroline?" he doesn't yet leave them
"Nah..." she mumbles. "I just don't wanna go inside yet." "I know that feeling, I prefer to sit on a cliff and think and watch things in the distance" He nods .
"Bo-ring," Caroline says loudly. "Sitting on a rock and doin' nothing is BO-RING." Surion laughs "Well, that depends on what you do afterwards."
Caroline and Sofi exchange a glance, as if to ask each other if they knew just what in the blazes he was talking about. And finally, they seem to simultaneously shrug, as if leaving that mystery to someone more qualified. Like Luna. "Really, though," Sofi finally cuts in, "If I don't bring her back soon, Aunt June's gonna make us both mop the floors of the cafe." He nods "Well then, do not let me cause you to get into trouble... " He knew he did not want to be the cause of them being punished for talking with him
"See you another time," Caroline mumbles, obviously not wanting to leave the park. "I'm at the clinic sometimes too, so we can talk again." Surion nods "I come there sometimes, perhaps I'll run into you then" he pauses "Wait a second..." his eyes becoming a bright emerald green, in one hand a ball of water with a pattern of a soccer ball, in the other hand a ball of energy with the same patterns.
At this, Sofi's eyes really DO fall out of her head, rolling onto the grass with a pair of wet thuds. Caroline doesn't notice; she's too entranced by the magic. Surion raises a brow seeing this but returns to his task bringing both energy and water together between his hands causing a flash of light. When Surion opens his hands there is a crystal, exactly the same shape as the little water soccer ball he had in his hand a moment before. It was almost perfectly clear, with only a hint of light blue in the crystal
And as Sofi falls to her knees and fumbles for her lost eyeballs in the grass, Caroline reaches for the ball. "Is it for me? Can I have it? It's for me, right?!" Surion chuckles softly watching Sofi "Well yes, it is for you" he offers it to her, it was no larger then a large marble "Is she ok?" he motions Sofi's actions as he holds the water crystal to Caroline
Caroline takes the ball happily, turning it over in her hands. "Huh? Yeah, she'll be fine." Just as the words leave Caroline's lips, Sofi successfully retrieves her eyes from the grass, polishes them quickly on the front of her shirt, and screws them back into their proper sockets. "Aaaaaaaaah," she groans, now rubbing her eyes. "Don't lose it... those are worth a lot, they are quite rare" He watches Sofi and raises a brow. The girl was definitely a unique individual.
"I won't! I promise!" Caroline squeals. Surion chuckles "Do you want a crystal too Sofi?"
Sofi immediately perks up. "Can I see stuff in it? Can I tell people to cross my palm with silver and stuff?" Surion bursts out laughing "It's just a water crystal, I once made a ...." be broke off speaking for a moment before continuing... "It's a crystal, decorative is about it"
"Well," Sofi ponders aloud, "I can still pretend." He smiles "so would you like one? if can be any shape..." he watches the fa'e
"Bunny rabbit!" Sofi immediately calls out. "No... no wait! Elephant!" Another pause. "No... no wait! I want a giraffe!" A long pause. "Yeah! A giraffe!" Surion laughs, his eyes still green a new ball of water changing shapes with the child's changing desire. When Sofi finally settled on a animal a shape of energy to match the water giraffe forms over his other hand and he brings them together, once again reacting in a flash of light.
Now that Sofi is expecting it, her eyes don't fall out of her head. Thankfully. Instead, she and Caroline both clap their hands excitedly, squealing with glee. A moment later Surion was holding out a crystal giraffe to the girls. His eyes shifting back to blue
"I GOT A GIRAFFE!" Sofi yells, holding it triumphantly above her head as if she'd just won the lottery. "Thank you~ Mr. Surion~" she squeals. "Thank you, Mr. Surion!" Caroline echoes, cradling her crystal soccer ball as if it would shatter. Surion laughs "Just Surion guys, just Surion. They wont break too easily, but still, I'm glad you like them"
"I gotta giraffe~" Sofi sings out loud, barely hearing him. "Okay guys, dont be late or you'll be swapping those for mops" he reminds them of what they had had to need to do.
"Ack!" Sofi chokes, grabbing Caroline by the wrist. "We gotta go! Thank you, Surion!" With a quick tug, both girls begin sprinting toward the businesses at the far end of the park. Surion watches them both run off before turning and heading towards the woods again, he now had even more to think about.

Posted: April 30, 2008Deja Vu She didn't see him much over the next few days, she'd all but thought he had gotten... 'bored' and moved on. She did her thing, practicing, going to Skullport among other things. A week later she was next to the lake sitting and leaning against a tree with her eyes closed, she was playing with the ring on her finger and thinking
He had spent more time there then intended he explored the surrounding lands even climbed that cliff a few times he couldn't find a reason to leave. One day he was relaxing on the top of the cliff he and Shicala climbed looking around
Shicala didn't know he was there, she opens her eyes and looks out over the lake, after a moment she sheds all but a swimsuit and moves into the lake still in her 'hiding' appearance, she stayed just under the water's surface as she moved
He was stretched up on the cliff looking at the sky he didn't notice her
She kicks her feet making audible splashes before moving a bit deeper into the lake, not once surfacing for air
He sits up hearing something looking around wondering what it was "strange"
Eventually she does surface, and she takes a deep breath, a content smile on her face, she loved water, she felt most at home there
He stands up and looks over the cliff edge out to the water
She paddles lightly in the water relaxing before submerging once more kicking her feet causing splashes as she dove
He looked over at the wave ripple in the water from this he laughed and sat at the edge of the cliff
Was a good five minutes before she surfaces again, this time heading towards the shore again, towards where she left her clothing
He watched her swim smiling
She wades out of the water completely unaware she was being watched, her long dark hair straight and true as she reaches the shore
His jaw drops as she comes out of the water "damn" he whispered
She wrings her hair out and then for a while she stood still as she dried out her hair, that in it's own accord did not take long.
He smiled her looked almost antish from up there
It would be obvious even from his distance she'd taken the ring off that she wore when her large black wings unfurled very quickly and suddenly
He jumped lightly seeing her wings
Her wings extend backwards and then pull forward, this pulled her back and up and over the water and into the air
He didn't move just watched her
Took but a moment for her to be high in the air, she turns, and blinks and then laughs when her eyes light upon his location
he smiled looking up at her
She pauses and then easily and quickly moves towards the cliffs, and him "Well now... someone I thought who had left" she states once close enough
"Hi" he smiled looking at her
"And here I thought you had gotten bored again and moved on" she puts her hands on her hips
"Nah something caught my mind" he smiled
"And what would that be that caught your mind?" she asks before moving in to land lightly beside of him
"You" he smiled looking over at her
"Me?" she looks quite startled by this statement
"Yes you" he smiled leaning back
"How am I a cause for interest?" she raises a brow in curiosity
He looked over at her "You just are........"
She laughs at this and smiles, her eyes turn green and soon her hair is completely dry
He smiled "you don't even know me yet for some reason you trust me......you alone just catch my interest who you are what you are how nice you are"
"I see, I know I'm not alike almost anyone else around this area... I cant explain why I trust you, I just know that I do" she nods
He smiled "I am not that easy to get rid of" he smiled
Shicala's wings slide into her back and she lays back atop of the cliff looking up at the sky "Well I cannot say I'm sad about that"
He laughed "You don't mind having me around?"
"Not at all, someone to talk to who isn't obsessed in learning new spells, and fighting" she laughs
"I am more interested in people then that" he smiled
"So where have you been then?" She never took her eyes off the sky above, her tail tapping the top of her leg lazily
"Truth too many places to name, I have walked the north to the south and east to the west I just keep going" he smiled looking back up
"Would explain why you haven't been around the city. Something drew you back to these cliffs then, or was it just a desire to think?" she looks over at him
"Both" he smiled looking over at her
"Oh really? Then what about the cliffs drew you back?" she raises one brow
"I wanted to see you again and it is a nice place to think" he replied
"Guess you knew I'd be back here then" she laughs and sits back up
"Well you did say you enjoyed it out here" he smiled lightly
"It's the only place I can be ... myself" She looks out over the water "Do you have something like that?"
"No I don't" He frowned slightly
"I see, it took me a while to find this one, a place where noone goes, but my son can find me..." she pauses "I don't know if I had a place like this where I came from before"
"I don't spend enough time in one place" he smiled lightly "never found a reason to stay long in any place"
Shicala nods and closes her eyes
He didn't say anything just leaned back
She stands back up and jumps off the cliff and out of sight
He looked at her " what the"
If he looks over the edge he'd see her gliding over the water, wings spread once more
He did look down wondering where she was
She glides for a while before landing lightly on the beach, she was thinking. After a moment the woman looks back and up, the silvery hair of the male was giving her a sense of deja vu
He looked down watching her smiling
She smiles softly, her black wings folding and slipping away to where they belong.
He laughed grabbing his stuff he flipped up and jumped off the cliff to the water
Shicala watches him, she hoped he wouldn't get hurt, she wasn't sure she was ready to reveal everything about herself just yet
He landed in the water just find it only stung for a moment. He quickly swam to shore
She smiles softly and watches him swim for the shore.
He took long strokes with his arms quickly standing on shore "hello"
"Hey there nice swimming" she laughs as he reaches the shore
"thanks" he smiled slicking his hair down
Her eyes turn emerald green and he would feel water being moved out of his hair
"whoa thanks" he smiled
She laughs and her eyes turn back to the normal royal blue. "You are welcome" she turns and scoops up her pants and top beginning to get dressed once more
He turned around giving her some privacy
She slips the clothing on over her bathing suit, and finishes it by putting the ring back on "Well, I do have to say. I wasn't expecting to see you again"
"Why not" he asked raising his eye brow
"Well the last time I saw you you told me you stay in an area until you get bored, and then you wander to the next area... and then I did not see you for several days... till today... Can you blame me for thinking I wouldn't?" she inquires
"No not really but like I said I found something that sparked my mind" he smiled she was still to his back
"Yes you were saying that, but I will say you never did explain how I managed to do that" cloak on she moved to stand beside of him facing the same direction as him
"I don't know my self so many questions come to mind when I even think about it" he smiled and turned looking at her
"Questions? Like?" she turns just her head a curious expression on her face
"you don't even know me yet for some reason you trust me......you alone just catch my interest who you are what you are how nice you are" He repeated the same questions as back on the cliff
"I don't know, Tenor, something about you strikes me as deja vu, something ... or someone I can trust..." she sighs unsure how to explain it
He smiled "deja vu?" he asked unsure how he could of done that
"Yes, don't ask me to explain it please, like the rest of my past... I don't know how to explain it" she looks down at her hands
"I wont" he smiled softly it seemed to bother her and he didn't wanna push it
"Thanks... I don't like that I cant explain things, but what can I do... not a lot" she sighs
he gazed lightly at her "shhh if it was meant to be remember it would of been"
She nods but doesn't say anything.
he undoes his cloak folding over his arm his black and silver tux showed in the sun
Shicala sighs, "Well, I'm done swimming, want to walk with me?"
"be delighted to" he replies
She nods and turns pulling the cloak around herself as she heads for the trees
he swiftly follows her
It would take much swiftness, the Kersallian woman was not walking all that fast. She was thinking and wondering what brought the feeling of deja vu to her
he followed her wondering what was wrong
Shicala was not watching where her feet landed on the soil. She was thinking and now and then looking over at him
He kept his eyes ahead following her wondering what was wrong
Half way through the trees there was a root not fully in the soil, and she trips
"whoa" he reaches over in an attempt to catch her "you ok?"
He manages to catch her... just. "Ack!" she catches her balance with Tenor's assistance
He pulled her to him making sure she didn't fall
Shicala does not move from his grip, she stares into his eyes, a flash of another pair of blue eyes that lasts only a fraction of a second. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath
He dose not move either "are you ok?" he asked looking down
"Sort of... " she doesn't move, at that moment she was fighting a dormant feeling she'd not felt in a long time.
" Are you sure?" he asked keeping his grip on her
She takes another deep breath. "I need to get my son to make something.. but.. I'll be ok" she was doing her best not to be obvious she was fighting with herself
He looked down searching her eyes "ok........."
She opens her eyes looking up at him in silence
He smiled letting his grip on her loosen so she could stand
Shicala settles on her feet giving a weak smile to him. If he looked hard enough he'd see her fighting herself, but she was not trying to let him see it. "Thanks for catching me"
"Are you sure you are ok?" he asked looking down at her
She smiles weakly and nods "Yeah" she straightens up and just stands there staring at him
He smiled "I don't believe you, but if you say so"
She stares, "I..." she pauses and closes her eyes "I'm okay, just..." another pause before she continues "I'm just dealing with something I have not dealt with since I arrived here, and I do not remember the last time I have had to, so I need something my son can make" she tries to explain
"Then lets get you home" he replied worried
She nods and turns to start walking again. her mind was a clutter of thoughts and urges.
He walked beside her making sure she didn't fall again
She did not fall nor even trip again, "Thanks Tenor" she says softly as they enter the inn
"No problem" he smiled as they go to the door
Entering into the inn she spots her son and as soon as they reach him she starts speaking rather rapidly in a language very unlikely that Tenor would understand. Surion looks up at the male a few times before the conversation is over
Tenor sits there with a confused look on his face did he do something wrong
"Back in a second" Shicala says with a smile before leaving the room with her son
He sat down and waited for her
It was about 20 minutes before her son returns. "I'm not sure what mom is remembering, I've always sensed her past is not something we want to remember.. I hope whatever it is she's remember stays buried.... But I know you are stirring dormant feelings that neither of us have felt since we got here" he tells Tenor straight up, he wore no cloak, his red dragon sitting on it on the chair. The jaguar one on his shoulder the tail wrapped around his upper arm
"I don't understand?" he asked looking at him lost
He sits down with the male and leans against the table. "Look mom is fighting an internal battle, someone in my past wrote a formula for a elixir to calm the feelings, it was in one of the books that came here with us, she's just waiting for it to finish so she can drink it. One of the things that the draconic people fight is something we call the urge... "
"and what is that?" he asked slowly comprehending
"The urge to ... pounce someone of the opposite gender." He watches the male's reaction to this
Tenor raised his eyebrow "I see......" he didn't know how to reply "why would I cause that?"
"Well from what she says, you are stirring a sense of deja vu, something tells me it may be someone from our past, but I don't know who. " He tries to explain
"Deja vu?.. Till I came here I never met anyone like your mother" he looked lost
"I can understand that, but she says you remind her of someone, someone she cant remember, that she feels she can trust you..." He sighs
"Yeah she did say that......." he looked at the boy then to the table
"She doesn't want to remember her past, she told me she doesn't feel there's anything in the past for her, only her future... and her present.. which seems to include you" He smiles
He laughed lightly "can I go talk to her?"
"Yeah, she's in the library upstairs and to the left..." He returns to his book
He follows his directions knocking on the door lightly
"Come on in" she calls out pushing the cork back into a flask
He opens the door slightly and pokes though "hi"
She looks up and smiles "Come in Tenor, you don't have to stand at the door." it was the room that he'd been in last time he was there with her
He walked in and closed the door behind him "you ok?"
She nods and replies "Yeah I'm good" it was obvious she wasn't fighting herself so much.
He smiled "ok you had me worried"
She sighs softly and looks down for a moment and then back up motioning him closer. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry"
"It is fine" he smiled walking to her
"I cant explain it, but thankyou" she smiles glad he wasn't pushing for more answers
"thank you?" he stopped looking confused
"For putting up with me. and from what I can tell.. caring" she chuckles and motions either the couch she's already sitting on or a chair
He walked over and sat next t her " like I said you intrigue me" he smiled softly as he sat "if there is anything I can do just let me know please?"
She chuckles and turns herself to face him "Okay, tell me why I intrigue you so much, surely there is more then what you've said"
"something about you just caught my eye" he smiled at her
She laughs lightly and smiles "Is that so"
"yes it is" he smiled lightly "you seem to be an amazing person.......tis the reason I stuck around"
"Amazing... physically, or just in general... I remember hearing you when you were watching me by the lake the other day" she watches him
"In general" he smiled looking down at her
She smiles and nods "I see"
He smiled "so all is well?"
Shicala nods "Yeah, I'm well, sorry for worrying you. " She smiles and studies him
He smiled lightly "it is fine" he looked lightly at her in his mind running over what Surion had said earlier
"Something on your mind?" she asks curiously seeing him looking deep in thought
"not much just thinking of what I was told nothing big" he smiled
"Told?" her brows furrow and she looks at him in confusion
"your son came and spoke with me nothing big" he smiled looking back at her
She sits up more "What did he talk to you about?" she was confused
He smiled "he just explained what was going on"
"Oh, to be honest... I don't even really know... There's natural instincts that come with what I am... but beyond that I really don't know" she looks down at her hands
He smiled "there is nothing to be ashamed of it is what were are" he smiled
"We are?" she looks up at him.
"how everyone is in nature" he smiled
Shicala watches him studying those blue eyes, and then suddenly blurts without reason "Bet you would look good with a pair of black shades....." she doesn't even realize for a moment she has said it and then looks away "Sorry, dunno where that came from"
He smiled and pulls a pair out of his pocket
She doesn't see this action
" like these" he smiled slipping them on
She looks up when she hears his words and just stares open mouthed and at a loss for words. It almost felt like something she knew... but didn't know how or who.
He slid the glasses down his nose slightly " you ok?" he asked unsure by her look
"You... I... " she cant find the words she was looking for. She was searching for those words, trying to figure out what it was she was thinking.
He looked at her confused "are you ok?" he looked at her wondering if he should find her son
She was silent for a second and then slowly nods, then nods a touch faster "Yeah, yeah I'm ok, just... an almost familiar feeling... but, not really a bad one"
He smiled "you keep scaring me with that.... did I do something wrong?" he asked worried everything he seemed o do something she acted odd
She shakes her head "No!... no... sorry" she looks down at her hands for a time then closes her eyes.
He looked at her worryingly "are you sure?"
"Yeah I am." she opens her eyes and looks at him again, "not meaning to worry you.." she says hearing his tone. She watches him and then reaches forward and takes hold of the arms of his sunglasses and moved them slightly on his face and then lets go
He smiled "you like?"
She does not reply right a way a smile slowly spreading on her lips and she nods

Posted: April 30, 2008Pegasus' Cookies Cassara, a 'girl' of 6', held onto Natalia protectively. Her red tail splashed black at the tip thrashed idly behind her. Her ears swiveled; she was always a little to cautions. She snorted. "Mother did you seriously have to drag me along!?" She was in protest; there was a moment she really wasn't. "As soon as I settle in the grass just outside this building you can go over to the fountain and play your violin." Ceres smiled as she settled down onto the blanket just outside of the GMFC. "I really wish you could learn to love life again..." "Mother I do LOVE life... I just don't LOVE the life you try to force on me." Cassara handed Natalia back to her mother. "She's getting to personal, and it is making me uncomfortable." She opened the violin case that she'd sat down while her mother sat the place up. "And, I'll play here... Rather than over there. I'm not going to leave you alone." Surion was trying to sort out all the flashes of images he'd seen when he had grown, he had been ever since then. He stood looking at the GMFC building he wasnt sure he wanted to go in just yet.
He was wearing his ring from Dragono, so his horns, tail and gem were not visible. His hood was up on his cloak which put his face into shadows, Senti and Kuyl in their normal spots on his shoulders as he contemplates. He did not notice the group on the grass up to this point.
Cassara raised her head as her ears perked to full attention. She was already overly cautious about herself, but add her family... It wasn't a good combination. At the moment shouldn't loosen up, or more so she wouldn't allow herself. Her violin dropped to her side, as she spun a slow circle. She took several deep breaths. "What is the matter?" Ceres said unable to make out what Cassara was seeing because of her unease and quick movement. "If you'll just calm down." "JUST CALM DOWN!" Cassara blurted out. "That is just asking for trouble..." She rubbed her temple with her freehand throughly urked but her mothers calmness of the mater. Surion's keen hearing picks up the conversation, his head turning to look in their direction, he does not lower his hood, which under a black cloak could still seem ominous with half of his face still in the shadows and also half of it covered by his long midnight blue hair, most of his long hair trapped within his cloak.
Ceres laid Natalia on the blanket, and then slowly stood up. "You are having a panic attack." She put her hand on her daughters shoulder. "Breath..." She herself took a deep breath to show her what she meant. "It is easy." Cassara's ears laid back. "This is ridiculous..." She said as her eyes slipped shut. "Happy place." She whispered as she could hear her violin music playing in her head. He turns wandering towards the group, his cloak moving around him like it was a part of him. He'd not seen someone having a panic attack, he didn't know if it was something that help would be needed for. He did however recognize at least two of the group which he was approaching.
Cassara looked her mother in the eyes. "I owe you nothing..." He said crossing her arms. Her tail slapped against the earth before curling around on of her legs. "Of course not." Ceres settled back down. "It is was mothers do after all... And, often without appreciation... Now if you wouldn't mind. Please be my eyes. They are the only pair I have." Cassara nodded her head. Surion stops near them and looks down at the group "Hello again" his voice was a bit deeper then the last time he had sat and visited with the woman. But then that also had something to do with his growth.
Senti starts chittering he easily remembers the infant and the meat-giving woman and he loved anyone who gave treats... Especially to him.
Cassara spun to quickly in step that her tail swug carelessly into her mothers arm. To busy sizing up the man who had approached. From what she gathered Ceres' knew this person. Ceres groaned at the force that had hit her, but thankfully it was a battle ready attack. "Keep that thing to yourself... You're not some little..." She stopped when she finally caught site of what Cassara saw. Surion's brow raises once more when Ceres stops mid sentence. "I'm sorry I did not mean to startle you" he lifts his hands and lowers the hood of hic cloak, he looked a lot like a normal human, all of his draconic features still hidden
"Not startle, just embarrassment. We are acting like siblings instead of mother daughter..." Ceres chuckles. "And Cass pick your jaw up. You dropped it." She teased her daughter. "Remember girlies only for you." "MOTHER!" Cassara used her hand to slap Ceres on the shoulder. They knew it was playful, but anyone else probably wouldn't have. "That's... That's..." She snorted. "Call me Vlad!" She couldn't retort without embarrassment so she shifted conversation. He chuckles hearing the explanation given to him by Ceres. "It is nice to meet you Vlad, I'm Surion" he introduces himself to the one he did not know of the group
"Pleasure." Cassara tried not to snarl. Though men could be pleasing to the eye she did not like most of them in the least. Not to mention she was still slightly embarrassed. "Well mother you've got another pair of eyes..." She was suddenly more uncomfortable than previous. "I'm going else where..." "I do not use without permission Cassara..." Ceres said evenly. "I would appreciate if you would stay." She patted the grass. "Have a seat... You have grown Surion, and handsomely at that." Surion listens for a moment, he could sense the uneasiness. After a couple moments he moves to sit on the grass, but not too near the the uncomfortable redhead. "Yes, I did grow" he plays with the ring on his middle right finger "It wasn't a entirely pleasant experience, and left me with much confusion" he admits as Senti slips off his shoulder, once again interested in the infant
Natalia gurgled as she felt the critter. She refused to let go of her blanket as she rolled onto her stomach, and search about. "Growing pains are a taste of 'mothers' suffer to bring children into this world." Ceres winked. "Makes you appreciate all they've done for you." "Would you stop spouting nonsense..." Cassara huffed. "You're full of it, not need to make sure everyone else is." She paid special attention to her sibling now that something was near her. "You're tongue is to forked for your own good Vlad..." Ceres said sadly. "If I could take or even ease your pain I would." She twirled her fingers in her hair. Rarely did she feel this way. The way Cassara was, it hurt sometimes. She never understood what she did wrong. Senti moves around the infant looking it in the face, he was chittering happily and did nothing that would be considered hostile or mean at all, he was more curious then anything.
Surion chuckles "I suppose so, I seem to grow in spurts, I can say however that the two girls who happened to be there wanted me to... do it again"
Natalia finally found something, and though she didn't know what it was she gave it a soft squeeze. She gurgled happily having hold of the 'things' tail. "You are rather handsome. I wouldn't be surprised with time if you have a group of giggling girls swooning over you." Ceres chuckled. "It is natural, and nature..." She let out of a sight sigh missing Sky's company. He was far easier to travel with, and despite wanting to deny it she missed him. Cassara rolled her eyes. "Mother, you are transparent..." Senti starts chittering even more, his long tail loosely wrapping around his tail around her hand. All Surion heard in his head was Cute cute cute cute cute cute cute
"At this point I've not seen more then a couple young girls. And all they wanted to see was me growing larger. I haven't really gone out much, I saw... things... when I grew I am not familiar with, so it gave me more to think about" he replies
Natalia squealed in delight, and continued to 'play' with the critter. She felted it over becoming familiar with what she was playing with. "Full of yourself aren't you..." Cassara snorted. "Thinking that they want to see you." She shook her head as she laughed. "Hold that tongue of your Vlad... It is you who is full of yourself." Ceres said with a sigh. "If this is that much of a burden go on... I'll manage." Senti ignored most of his surroundings
"I'm not full of anything, they asked me to repeat it" he states bluntly to the redhead before returning his attention to Ceres. "Have you yourself been keeping well?" he wanted to take the attention off of himself
Cassara rolled her eyes. "Whatever..." She stood up, and walked off. "I miss him." Ceres whispered. Surion raises a brow, the only visible brow "Miss who?" he inquires as his eye follows the redhead's departure for a moment before returning to supervising the chittering dragonette who was still acting very curious and looking at Ceres
"Sky..." Ceres said longingly. "When you truly love someone you are willing to set them free." She felt along the ground now having no eyes at all to use. After some time, with some frustration she found her bag. "He runs with them, and I don't know if he'll come back..." Natalia not knowing what she was feeling, or playing with put the dragonettes tail in her mouth. She gurgled happily. Having no teeth she could cause no harm. "The gentleman who was with you last time is.. gone?" He asks with some confusion. Surion watches her fumble for her bag
Senti moves even closer licking the baby's nose with his little tongue
Kuyl lifts his head lazily and then slips into Surion's lap
Natalia rolled onto her back, pulling the critter up to her chest. She gurgled enjoying what she thought was a toy. "God I wish I had Cassara's eyes." Ceres said as she searched her bag a little more reckless than normal. She sighed at the question. "Sky has other responsibilities. Ones he didn't tend to while he was busy tending to me his pregnant... What ever I am." Ceres pulled out a container. "Please tell me is this my sandwich. I wanted to give him a treat." She smiled. "I feel so helpless right now because of my daughters hot headed temper." The dragonette was enjoying himself, he'd not had much experience with little ones to this point, but it was obvious he was good with them.
"Whats wrong with your eyes?" Surion asks with wonder understanding the fact of responsibilities to care for "I hope he's back for you, if he cares about you I'm sure he will be... As for a sandwich... it looks like it"
"I cannot see for myself... But, I can see through the eyes of others. I've also got the ability that I can see what people have seen previous. I don't invade, so off the island I am pretty much blind without an escort." Ceres said with a nod of her head. With touch alone she felt around the package, and opened it. She separated the bread, and put the meat on the plate. "And, Natalia isn't Sky's first child... He is a stallion." A smile tugged a the corners of her cheeks. "We pretty much grew up together... So It doesn't bother me at all." She put the container back together and sat it to the side. "I have faith that he'll return to me even if I cannot offer him sex..." Senti's attention leaves the infant when the scent of meat fills the air, this time Kuyl's attention is drawn to it as well, both dragonettes looking at the meat, almost as if to ask 'is that for me'
"Were you born without sight? or is that due to not being on the... island?" He smiles seeing the smile playing at the female's lips
"I was born blind. Maidens of the Isle are born this way. When we are of age with the gift of our mirrors, we get the gift of 'site'. It isn't easy at first to use, but in time is very useful." Ceres scooted the lid forward. "Come on. I know you want it." She chuckled. She didn't feel them in her lap or in the grass around her, so she knew they were hesitating. The pair of dragonettes left their locations, Senti's tail unwrapping from the infant's hand as he moves for the meat
"I see, I've never heard of this before, I don't think I'm familiar with the island you speak of" He relaxes as he watches them, he was playing with his ring and thinking
Natalia gave an unhappy gurgle at her displeasure of her 'toy' leave her. Ceres felt around her for Natalia. When she felt the baby she carefully picked her up to comfort her. "The Isle is hidden. It is a Bermuda Triangle of sorts." Ceres chuckled. "Occasionally travers stumble upon it, but other than the accidentalness the only way in and out is my mirror, and the ones that I have created. The created ones are weaker because they are not for made for a maidens use." Both dragonettes contently dig into the meat talking to each other in their own language.
"Oh I know how that one goes, I've been in places that are hidden...." he stops rather abruptly wondering where that info came from. He did not know what caused him to remember this, for as much as he was trying he could not think of WHERE these places were
Ceres chuckled. "My island has places that are still unfamiliar to even me. And, I am one of the oldest maidens..." She sat Natalia back down now that she was calm once more. "Theres always things that we find that are new, or at least feel or seem new" he was replying and listening but looking off in another direction. "You said you were in your 400s biologically... right?"
"Yes. 450 years to be exact. Although I could have forgotten a few over time." Ceres' cheeks colored a bit. "But, it is understandable to loose a few things here and there with as much as I've been around." Cassara looking a bit weary returned. Her clothing was a bit askew, but nothing to draw caution to her. She slumped into a heap next to her mother. There wasn't much she could say to her mother. She knew she had been in the wrong, but she wouldn't have admitted it. The dragonettes return to either his lap or his shoulder as the redhead returns
"I can understand that, 450 years is a very long time, I'm not even three yet I cant imagine 450 years." He looks up as the redhead returns "Welcome back" he welcomes her with a nod
"Button your shirt..." Ceres said evenly. She didn't have to see Cassara to know her appearance changes. "Please." She added. Cassara gave a look at her mother, and buttoned the top couple of buttons covering up her wrapped chest. "Afraid someone will look." She snorted. "It is called manors..." Ceres said as she pursed her lips. She then returned her attention back to Surion. "You've got a lot of living left to do then. Where my life is nearly over now that Natalia is born." Surion watches the pair of them as they talk back and forth. "Nearly over?" the look on his face turns from amused to purely confused, How was her life almost over, after all her child was still an infant
"When she is old enough to use her mirror and her abilities my life cycle will be complete." Ceres sighed softly. Most maidens live long enough to seduce a male, have a child, and see them to their coming of age. I just had a child very late in life." She continued to hold a smile. It was apparently that she was completely at peace with these facts. "I am old, and tired... As I know Sky is." "Wow..." Surion was a mite bit dumbfounded by how serene Ceres sounded by these facts. "You are about as old as many of the average elders of the Kersal... "
Ceres chuckled. "I could have lived longer had I not chosen to give birth. But I was empty, and it is what I wanted." She stretched a bit. "I wouldn't mind giving Sky all of me, but frankly I'm down right scared..." Cassara looked at her mother. "Yet you allow the man to sleep next to you in nothing more than the few pieces of cloth you two manage to wear..." She rolled her eyes. "I really don't see how you could be telling the truth." "Whoa, whoa I really don't need to hear that argument Vlad" Surion puts his hands up.
"Thank you." Ceres says a little colored. "This child never learned modesty or manors." She sighed shaking her head a little. Cassara snorted as she raised her tail and let it thrash angrily at the ground. "Give it up mother... How in the house with seven hormonal children can you still act as if sex doesn't exist." "It is called privacy, and modesty. It is also why I ask each of you to keep your doors open when you are home... So I know you are not doing any of those types of things." Surion shakes his head slowly, oh the joys of open-minded youngsters. "As much as that may be Vlad... I am not sure your mom wants someone she barely knows to know that fact"
Cassara's ears laid back as her eyes narrowed. "She has absolutely nothing to hide... Features included." She motioned to her mothers dress attire. "Please... Just go. You've said enough." Ceres fully colored covered her face. "I'll be fine without you. And, if you are concerned just send another sibling to escort me." She sighed. "Maybe not, but this isn't your home either so I can see why she is hoping you are a little less... blunt" He pulls the ring off pocketing it his true appearance becoming obvious, though his wings were folded inside of him still
Ceres could see everything via Cassara's eyes. "Cassara don't... you." Cassara's skin went from flaming flesh red, to scale coated. She let out a blood curling cry as her human form shift. Large claws extending were nails one were. Her face narrowed and extended allowing for her muzzle to form. She kept her wings folded. She may have been considered a petite, she was still fairly large. "Go ahead buddy. Bring it on!" She lowered her head, showing a longer set of horns. Ceres fumbled as she grabbed the baby. She couldn't see that well now that her escort was in this form. She quickly scooted away from her. Trying to keep out of the path of her angry tail. Surion shakes his head "I'm not fighting anyone, so you can chill out" He sets a hand on the grass and leans to one side putting his weight on his hand "This is just a world I don't have to hide my appearance if I don't want to... Unlike where I live."
Ceres still panting, a bit of fear evident her eyes. This wasn't the island where she had a thousand pair of eyes and could get out of the way her children's shifting bodies. "You are such a total a** Cassara." She was trying to cry. "Did you think nothing of Natalia and of myself... You know damn well I'm vulnerable." Cassara snorted puffs of exhaust out of her nose. She still sized the man up. She folded her legs under her, and settled down in the grass. "I had you mom... I may be hot tempered, but I'm not..." She dug her nose into the grass when she was how her mother looked. She looked like a hatching again. "You have a very.... interesting family Ceres" Surion muses watching the exchange. He frowns slightly "You ok Ceres?"
"You haven't met the half of them." Ceres said weakly as she tried to straighten herself out. "I'll be alright... I just panicked is all." She was trying to be modest about the situation. "I wish I could a couple more sets of eyes... It would make things easier on my behalf." Natalia gurgled as if it had all been a game. "Good to hear you will be all right" he watches the form of Vlad, "You definitely have a challenge... I cant say that I have any children... Just me, and mom"
"When you say handful... If only you knew." Ceres laughed, but it was short lived. "Did you tear the blanket..." She huffed. "And squish the bag under that form of yours? Because I sure as hell know you tore your clothes." She cradled the infant. Cassara continued to nuzzle her nose into the dirt. It was as if someone had taken a marker on her forehead and written guilt. "Well I can say she probably squished your bag, not sure about tearing the blanket... Are you yourself all right?" Surion looks Ceres and hte infant over with his eyes, only to check for such
"I am pretty sure we are okay. I feel okay, and she sounds happy..." Ceres smiles to be positive about the situation. "The only thing that worries me is that my body isn't properly covered." She cleared her throat. Cassara lifted her nose, and shook it clean. Licking the rest clean with an amazingly long tongue. Finally calm enough her scales started to retreat. "There is some clothing in the bag if you can manage to get your big butt off of it. But the problem be he'll see everything if you shift back." Surion laughs suddenly "I can turn around... if Vlad wishes to be... humanoid again"
"It is my mother who is modest..." Cassara said as she managed to gain control over herself. "What is embarrassing is the fact I am not so adolescent teen anymore." When Cassara surveyed the ground Ceres reached for the bag. She quickly with one hand dug out some clothing. "Just a simple t and jeans... I've got on..." She said aloud. "Wait... yes I do. Just not underwear." Cassara rolled her eyes. "Figures." Surion closes his eyes, and when he did he had a flash of a image of a building and he frowns. He knew that building, or at least he was sure he did... He opens his eyes once more but looks away from them, he was completely distracted from the pair
"No wonder you two get along... Modesty boy here." Cassara rolled her eyes as she slipped on her jeans. She looked pretty much male now, but still she wrapped her chest. "You are rude Cassara... No wonder you have few friends." Ceres retorted. "Are you alright Surion... You look distracted." Surion does not reply immediately and when he does he is still staring away in the same direction "I think so... I just keep having flashes of images of places and things and people... I don't know them but I do I think... I don't know"
"I could..." Ceres startled, but quickly halted herself. Would the other 'trust' her still if she told him just how she could potentially be of help to him. She sighed softly. "...help you." She finally added. Though the add on gave little to no information. Surion's head snaps forward to look at her "Help me? how?" he was confused, mind you it did not help he was completely unaware of the powers the woman had.
"I do not tell many..." Ceres closed her eyes. "For it can easily be abused or disintegrate trust." She spoke in near haunting tones. She was so close, yet so distant. "If you allow me not only can I see through your eyes and what you currently see... But, I can see things you have seen." She took a moment as if making sure to work it correctly. "I cannot promise you that you'll like what I see, or even find it useful..." She opened her eyes. "I never ever do so without permission..." Cassara snorted. "Kinda like you shifted through my mind to find out what happened that day when I returned home looking like a rag doll." It hurt still to this day to remember that ordeal. "You are my daughter... I will go to any means necessary to care for you. It is my duty." Ceres said simply. Surion spent several silent minutes as what she said sunk in and he thought about what she was offering. He knew there at one point was something in this world for him, but he did not know what, and the images he saw, especially being only flashes of still images left him very confused. He licks him lips just thinking, and he was unsure but at the same time he wanted at least SOME answers... "All right...." he says quietly
"My offer will stand for when ever, if ever you choose to use it." Ceres used her hand to brace herself as she stood up with Natalia. She swept herself off, and then rested the kid on her hip. "My time draws near..." She smiled softly. "If ever you wish to get a hold of me just tap your mirror... I always know when someone is calling. Though please make sure your bathroom is safe as that is the room I end up in most." Ceres chuckled. Cassara rolled her eyes. "At least it isn't the bedroom... during moments that as you say are meant to be private." She grabbed her mothers things, her shredded clothes, and the container of bread. "All right, let me put a little more thought into it... and I'll either contact you, or like today, we'll run into each other" he too stands up, the dragonettes seemed to sense his movement before it happened and are both on his shoulders before he even finishes standing.
"Oh, and..." Ceres dug around her bag. She pulled out some cookies that were in the shape of Pegasus'. How they remained uncrushed would remain unsolved for she wouldn't share her secret about her bag. "For you... Nearly forgot. They've been in there... But I promise they are as fresh as if I baked them yesterday." Surion takes them, raising a brow as he did "For me? Thanks" he smiles "I'm sure they will be great"
Ceres smiled. "Until we meet again." She said as she pulled out her mirror. Seriously this bag had all that, and still more that she hadn't even used. "Well then everyone ready..." And, like that the group vanished. Surion watches them disappear, his visit with her had once again left the male with much to think about. After a moment he pulls his ring out slipping it on once more before pulling his hood up once more and heads away from the clinic.

Posted: May 3, 2008 Transcribed from hereBronwen & Surion Meet Surion Rakamash Surion steps out of the shadows of the forest. He was a bit ruffled under the feathers to coin a phrase. He'd just had bit of an arguement with his mother and he wanted to get away from Faerun for a few hours to cool off. He looks around and then lowers his hood from his cloak his long midnight blue hair falling loose.
He pauses a moment before removing the ring he wore on his middle finger which revealed his gem, horns and tail, it was a nice thing that he could be himself as he tried to sort out his past.
Surion looks at both dragonettes on his shoulders and heads through the park. Bennali Sundragyn Bronnie, just off from work and still tired, was collapsed rather awkwardly on a bench, trying to think things over clearly while she stared up at the sky. Ing was perched on the back of the bench, feathers ruffled and looking as thoroughly sulky as it was possible for a raven to look. With someone coming down the path, though, Ing croaked a warning down at Bronnie; she sat up, and peered at the approaching young man curiously. There was something rather familiar about that tail and horns. Hesitantly, in case she was wrong, she called out, "Surion? Is that you?" She'd only met him once, so it was hard to be sure, but... she was pretty sure. Surion Rakamash He looks up hearing from his name having been watching the path in front of his feet. Another person who seemed to know him, though as usual he did not know them. "Yes, I am Surion" he confirms.
He alters his footfalls so that he was heading for the bench. The expression on his face would be one that said he did not recognize her if she looked close enough at his expression.Senti lifts his head from it's resting spot on Surion's shoulder and chitters to his bonded in his mind Who that, that girl know you, do she do she? Bennali Sundragyn Bronnie stared at Surion, feeling lost. She knew him, it was who she thought it was, but... it was clear to her that he didn't recognize her. Well, it hadn't exactly been a major meeting. It was not impossible that he'd just forgotton, or... or something. Ing made a cackling sound; Bronwen shot her familiar a look. Whatever passed between them in that went beyond words. "You... you don't remember me, do you?" It seemed best to just come out and say it. Surion Rakamash "If you want truth, that would be no, but then..." He pauses his words swatting slightly at Senti as he comes to a stop near the bench looking down at Bronnie. Half of his face covered with the long bangs of his hair "I dont remember anyone.." he finishes his words with a bit of a sigh. Senti chitters at Surion a moment and dodges the swat before skittering down Surion's cloak coming to a stop at Surion's feet, he was looking up at IngKuyl on the other hand looks rather bored, he did not move from his perch Bennali Sundragyn Bronwen blinked at him. "Oh. Oh." She had no idea what to say to that. She shifted over on the bench to make room for him, if he wanted; she sat with her knees drawn up to her chin, her sandaled feet on the bench. "Well, um. I'm Bronwen. Or Bronnie. We met once, I guess." The little dragonette's gaze was not unnoticed by Ing. The raven cocked his head to one side, and fluffed his ruff of neck feathers, clearly unimpressed. Surion Rakamash Senti jumps up chittering up a storm and looking from Ing to the female as she moves overSurion shifts his cloak and takes the now vacant spot on the bench. "Sorry, not something I much like but, only time will tell if I'll remember anything" He listens "Bronnie, nice to meet you, possibly again" he shakes his head slightly with a bit of a smile "I seem to keep meeting people who know me, it is odd not to know them" Bennali Sundragyn Ing simply sinks his head down into his ruff of feathers and looks pointedly away from Senti. He is--at least in his mind--too old and dignified for this. Bronnie gives him a gentle, scolding flick. "Knock it off, Ing." To Surion, she says, "I'd bet that's got to be really hard," trying to sound properly sympathetic. "It's okay. I'm not offended or anything." Surion Rakamash Surion chuckles and pushes his bangs out of his face "Don't need to be sympathetic. I've grown used to not knowing, I havent been able to for more then a year, I only learned to plane shift back here a couple months ago... It's a learning experience." he pauses then ads "I'm glad you arent offended, meeting people from my past..." he shrugs slightly "I suppose you could say it opens doors to fill in blanks"Senti watches the bird for a moment and then turns to Bronnie skittering up to the knee of the girl with a curious expression Bennali Sundragyn "Well, still. I wish I could help, but..." Bronnie shrugged, feeling a bit awkward. She had to admit even to herself that she really hadn't known him well enough to offer anything. "No problem, I guess. We can start fresh." And then Senti scrambled up her leg; Bronnie jumped, just slightly, and then laughed. Leaning in, she said, "Well, hello there." Ing deigned to look over at the creature climbing on his dragon. He made a harsh, croaking sound, and looked away again, annoyed. Surion Rakamash Senti perches and chitters noisily looking at Bronnie when she leans in he does too till Bronnie would have to look almost cross-eyed to see his small headSurion shakes his head. "He says hello in a nutshell" he watches Senti's actions and plays with the ring on his right hand, the one which said a name on it Bennali Sundragyn Bronnie blinked, laughed, and leaned back to give her eyes a break. "Well, hello back." She offered a finger to the little creature, to sniff or rub against or... well, whatever. She had no idea. Ing croaked, still pointedly looking away. Absently, Bronwen returned, "Oh, quit your grumbling. I'm just being friendly. You could learn a thing or two." Surion Rakamash Senti, liking attention, perches his front paws on the finger still chittering at Bronnie and looking at her"Oh give her some space you crazy dragon" Surion tells the dragonette before turning back to Bronwen "Starting fresh is fine by me, I've done that a few times, I met a guy named Eliot, and a girl whom has a name that matches this ring, but I dont remember them either, so starting over seems to be... frequent" Bennali Sundragyn Bronnie raised an eyebrow. "That must be awkward," she said. "The girl, I mean." Somewhere, in the back of her mind, was a wicked little voice saying that it was a relief to talk about other people's problems. She ignored it as best she could. Ing apparently decided he had had quite enough; with a small, grumbly noise, the raven hopped from the back of the bench to Bronwen's shoulder. He settled himself there, in his customary place, and glared down at Senti. Bronnie scratched him fondly with her free hand, but she rolled her eyes. Surion Rakamash Senti stares at the bird before chittering at it for a moment and skittering back to Surion's empty shoulder"Well it certainly was interesting, mind you she kinda steered clear of me most of the time I was at the clinic that day. How about you, you seem a bit frazzled to say the least" Surion comments as Senti returns to his perch settling in Bennali Sundragyn "Ah, well." Bronnie looked away, a bit awkwardly. I think an acquaintance of mine is possessed by an evil entity and may be stalking me seemed like kind of a bad thing to say in casual conversation. "Just... just have a lot on my mind right now. And I just got off work, too, which is no help." She forced a grin. "I work at... well, there's a little specialty deli just down the street, there. Nice little place, even if the menu's a bit weird. Not as weird as the staff, though." Ing bobbed his head, approving and victorious. Bronnie caught him by the beak and tweaked him, absently. "I'm sorry about Ing," she said, pointedly looking at the raven. "He's crabby at the best of times, but he's feeling a bit overprotective these days." The raven cawed at her, and looked away sulkily. Surion Rakamash "It sounds like you have a lot of stuff on your plate to say the least." He nods and thinks for a moment "I havent had a job in a long time, I should probably find one some day, but I havent needed money in a long time." He taps his chin "I'll have to check out that little deli some day... As for Ing.. dont worry about it" Bennali Sundragyn "Ah, I'll figure it out," Bronnie said dismissively, hoping it was true. Ing nipped her ear, fondly; she tapped him gently on the head. "If you do head down to the deli," she said wryly, "don't freak out any if the daily lunch special is something like, um, roast dragon on a bun. It isn't like the people sort of dragon." Although it still kind of gave her the creeps. "It's the animal sort of dragon. I don't eat it, though." Surion Rakamash "Roast dragon?" he lifts a brow "interesting concept" Surion's eyes turn emerald green and he starts to play with a ball of water lazily "I can imagine you will figure things out. You strike me as a smart young woman" he relaxes and watches her and the bird, he was glad to be meeting or remeeting people and making new friends Bennali Sundragyn "I'll take my boss's word for it that it's all right. She's... well, I'm not sure what she is, but she's not human, and she cares about stuff like that." The ever-present faint glow in Bronwen's eyes flashed stronger for a moment, as she looked curiously, perhaps a bit enviously, at the globe of water. Ing watched, too, making a soft chuckling noise in his throat, offering some opinion on it. She didn't say anything, feeling sort of shy and overawed all of a sudden. Surion Rakamash Surion laughs and shakes his head "Thats one thing I've noticed in my travels to regain my memories of this place, theres a large diverse variety of people here" He doesnt notice Bronwen's interest in the water at that point, he wasnt exactly looking at them Bennali Sundragyn "I know that people who come here from other places sometimes think Gaia's sort of weird for that. I dunno. I guess I'm sort of used to it." Though she still felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb, sometimes, and would like to have been a little less noticeable. Bronwen flexed her claws, thoughtfully. "I'm sorry. I kind of have to ask. That's... elemental magic? Water?" She gestured to it, chewing on her lip. Surion Rakamash Surion nods listening to her musings about other people in Gaia. He does not say anything until she asks her question "What? Oh... It's an ability of my Kersallian side, one of them at least..." He holds out the ball of water to her, it did not appear that it was going to disperse at all in fact it looked completely able to keep it's shape long term. Bennali Sundragyn "It's water, right?" Bronnie tilted her head to one side, unaware that Ing was doing the same thing as he, too, inspected it. Without thinking, she reached a clawed hand towards it, as though to touch it; she drew it back as soon as she realised what she was doing. Bad idea to touch other people's magic, she figured. She had enough trouble with her own. And then, blushing slightly because this was not the sort of thing she ever liked to be particularly open about, Bronwen cupped a hand and gathered a ball of shadow into it; it sat in a dark and insubstantial blob, quivering and faintly transluscent. "It's, um, pretty bright here, so it doesn't work as well as it might, but..." Again, the faint flash of light behind her eyes, and the shadows writhed up into the wavering shape of a flame, if cold and dark, and then settled into the surprisingly solid form of a black rose cupped in her palm. She let it dissolve in a small burst of actual fire. "Not terribly useful, I guess," she said, rubbing her palm reflexively, though it had been a long time since her own fire had burnt her. Surion Rakamash "Yeah it's just plain waters" He replies confirming her question. "Not going to hurt you, or anyone else" he chuckles and smiles.
"Thats pretty cool actually" Surion watches the dark energy and soon fire. "Everyone has their own special abilities, it makes us each unique" Bennali Sundragyn "Yeah, I guess so." Bronnie shrugged vaguely; Ing reached over paternally and plucked a stray hair from her face with his beak. "I just wish, sometimes, that I had some sort of guidebook for it." She laughed. Surion Rakamash "Don't we all.. don't we all" He laughs, "a guidebook to our entire lives would be ideal I swear" The ball of water Surion was holding disperses and his eyes return to a blue Bennali Sundragyn "Yeah, well, there's still a burn mark in the middle of the carpet in my old room at my mother's house," Bronnie laughs, wryly. " I didn't know what I was doing." Ing cackled at her, teasing. Surion Rakamash Surion chuckles openly, he wished he had memories like those which he could reflect back upon... perhaps some day he might. "Well we learn from our experiences good and bad" he smiles glancing at the bird as he spoke. He stretches and pauses talking a moment "Well I suppose I need to keep moving, It was nice to re-meet you, I'd give you a way to contact me but I dont think it'd be quite possible to get through... We dont have same conveniences where I live as Gaia does" he explains remembering when Eliot had given him a phone number, one he still meant to use at some point. Bennali Sundragyn Bronwen nodded. "Sure. Take care, Surion. And good luck." She had to suppose there wouldn't be much point in giving him her phone number, if there weren't phones wherever the hell he was living. Too bad. Surion Rakamash Surion stands up and stretches slightly and starts to head off. "Hey I'll leave a message at your work if I wanna contact ya, that ok?" he says as an after-thought turning and stopping Bennali Sundragyn Bronnie nodded. "Sure. That sounds fine." Surion Rakamash "All right, have a great day" he smiles nodding slightly and then turns and heads off leaving her on the bench.

Posted: May 3rd 2008 Transcribed from hereAt the clinic ~ Meeting Elle Neith-Kia Elle flopped into a chair in the GMFC and sighed. On feet all day at library, on feet all night for toddler who apparently was sharing her biological 'gift' for not needing much sleep, and she... though she wouldn't admit it to anyone... was craving to do what others her age did. Sex, of course, but relationships too. Males and females ran at the sight of her teeth and if not her teeth, they ran pretty quickly at the sight of the toddler. Elle's expressionless face broke into a small weary frown. She'd be an old virign with this kid latched onto her tail. As if he'd been aware of her, Spock looked up from where he lay under the chairs and smiled at her with that horrible smile of his, the one described by her own mother as 'full of sunshine and love', the one that made her forgive him for anything and everything. Bah. It had to be Luna's genetics. He even came out on his hands and knees and reached up for her, a little chubby toddler with his eyes, face and tail full of smiles, so she hoisted him up into her lap and hugged him close. "Spock, my darling." Elle murmered very softly, glancing around to see if anyone had noticed. She was alone, she hoped, and tugged her hood off her head and onto her neck so that she could kiss the silky straight hair on his head as she brushed it out of his face. Elle was very bad with the public affection thing, it made her nervous and shy, put her on edge, but the way he squirmed and was clearly delighted with it made the risk all worth it. Elle leaned back and yawned again, trying to not smile when he mimicked her, both of them yawning with their fangs hanging out and their tails twitching. "I don't know what genetics the aliens gave you, but if you can somehow conjor a lover for your mum before she goes mad, it would be very helpful." She put him back down and watched him as he crawled away for the pile of toys that had probably been drooled on as long as Elle herself had been a toddler. Oh well. Maybe he'd run into some of Winny's old spit and have a strange genetic reunion with his aunt. keetabirdy Keeta waddled into the waiting room, looking like she was about ready to burst. She had come for one of the final checkups before the baby was born, to make sure there weren't going to be any predictable complications. As she headed to the sign in desk, she saw a mother and toddler already seated. With a weary nod, she acknowledged them as she sat down. That would be her before too long, she knew. "What's his name?" she asked, indicating the toddler. Surion Rakamash Surion enters the clinic, something just kept drawing him back to this place, perhaps it was that he ran into more people here that knew him then anywhere else... But he did not know. He looks around to see if there was signs of life, and found some. He nods as he undoes his cloak Neith-Kia Elle looked up to the woman and then back to where Spock had dug himself into the toybox and was now hiding in there, the tail and wings clearly still sticking out and wriggling from side to side as he played... somehow. How did a toddler play like that? She looked back to the woman and smiled, a small smile, brushing strands of loose dark hair out of her own face. "Spo... Jonathan. He's Jonathan. And I'm Elle." She felt a bit sympathetic for the woman, Elle KNEW how pregnancy felt. "How's it going? Is your baby bouncing on your organs yet?" She was distracted by the sight of the young man. He was familiar but Elle was more distracted by how good looking he was. She scowled at herself and pinched her arm, then tried to smile a hello. It didn't matter how lonely she'd been lately, being tempted to jump the nearest hot blooded male wasn't exactly socially acceptable... essically with her toddler in the room. Surion Rakamash Surion slips the cloak off setting it on a chair, the red psudo dragon jumping down and landing atop of it. The male himself lifts the other dragonette from his opposite shoulder and drops it with the first lightly. "Hello" he greets the pregnant mother and then again to the young woman with teh toddler before crossing the room towards them keetabirdy Keeta glanced and nodded at the man that entered, before returning eye contact to the other woman. She smiled and looked over at the toddler when Elle told her his name. "He looks like a handful, but he also looks like he's having fun. And yes mine is definitely bouncing up and down on my bladder lately. I'll be glad to have some relief from that," she said with a sigh, a small smile still on her face. Neith-Kia "Hello." Elle replied, and tore her eyes off him, cursing the stupid elf genetics. She had become more aware of it lately, and those stupid elves in the estate had been smirking at her with that knowing look and suggestion that she join their 'festivites'... "He is, but he wears himself out and falls asleep wherever so he isn't too bad." Elle looked back to where the little gwee tail and wings were still batting away in what she hoped was a happy mood. His head popped up soon with a barbie doll in his teeth, the fangs piercing the stupid thing's head. Yep. He was happy. Dolls got bitten when he was happy. She smiled sympathetically at the woman and nodded. "I remember that part. Maybe she's wearing herself out now for you." Surion Rakamash Surion smiles and drops into a chair a couple away from Elle. He glances at the child and chuckles "Well thats one less head to worry about" his observations of the child made him grin. "I cant help but agree your clutch seems to to have enough energy to keep anyone busy." keetabirdy "Well thats good. Gives you a little chance to rest then? And I like to think that my little one is wearing him or herself out, but, you never know...." she paused for a moment realizing that the other woman had introduced herself, but Keeta hadn't returned the pleasantries. It wasn't her intention to be rude, she had just been so distracted lately. "Oh, I'm Keeta, by the way. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier." She offered her hand to Elle, and then the blue-haired man. Keeta couldn't help but laugh a little when she saw Johnathan peek out with a Barbie in his mouth, however. Ellette E "Him even. Boys are good too." Elle shook the woman's hand. Spock dropped the barbie and headed for Keeta's legs, slowly, crawling low, apparently trying to stalk the woman's foot. Elle tried to shoo him away with one hand as she glanced up to the male. "Clutch? That's a way to put it." That was a dragon saying, she realized, and pushed Spock off the woman's feet as he tried to sit on it. He was part gwee so... "Yes, he's my exercise." She was staring at his smile though, at the fangs, curious and unsure. Were they dragon too? Surion Rakamash "Well if he's your child yes, I appologize if he isn't." He pauses "I'm Surion by the way" he introduces himself looking at the trio from behind the bangs that covered half of his face.
He observes the 'hunt' of the young child and grins again "You will be a good hunter one day won't you little one" he addresses the child keetabirdy "It's ok," Keeta said to Elle, when she tried to shoo the toddler away from her foot. "It doesn't bother me. In fact, it's something I'd better get used to, so it's good practice in a way." She chuckled, rubbing her hands over the buldge of her belly. It was strange thinking it would be gone in just a little while. Although it was heavy and hard on her back, among other things, she had kind of grown used to seeing herself like that. Ellette E "He is my child." Elle answered and waited for the interest to die out all of a sudden, as it often did when someone found out that she had a child. She glanced down and some of her protective emotionless died away as she looked at him, and for a few seconds her affection for the toddler showed in her eyes and her small smile. He would be a good hunter. Elle hoped she could teach him well. She looked back up to Keeta and smiled at the way the woman touched the bulge. "You'll miss that stomach when the baby's crying. But it will be a relief to get the weight out of you." keetabirdy Keeta nodded. Speaking of relief... "If you'll excuse me, I'll be right back. I just need to use the facilities." She hoped that wasn't too much information, but she didn't feel she should leave without an explaination. With a smile at the others, she headed towards the bathroom, careful not to step on Johnathan in the process. Surion Rakamash Surion leans forward, his hair slipping over his shoulder. looking into the eyes of the youngster for a few moments using part of his own heritage before looking to Elle and then sitting up "Very intriguing to say the least" he muses and then hears Keeta and nods before looking back to Elle "Looks like theres a number of people here with very mixed heritages" Ellette E "Okay." Elle answered Keeta. Elle glanced up again and found herself feeling the urge for a companion, a friend, for more interaction than the brief ones she got in the library she had been working at. He was handsome and she was sure she'd met him. "Is it that surprising? This is a good place to go when a baby is needed, or when one is created and help is needed." Spock was dissapointed by the lack of foot, she noticed, he'd stuck the tip of his tail in his mouth and started to moo in a low dissapointed tone. Mooing. Elle went red. How would she explain that? The only noise he could make, besides a few growls and other noises. Surion Rakamash Surion chuckles hearing the moo... it did not seem to phase him in the least. Surion's eyes shift from blue to emerald green and he forms water in his palm which begins to change shape before he puts it on the floor near the child, nothing the child would do to it would make it break it or make it disperse but he hoped it would interest the child while he talked with the child's mother.
"This is a true fact, though besides my mother, I dont know many if anyone else with vampric genes in the mix of heritages" He is blunt as he watches the infant's reactions Ellette E Spock's interest was gained and he grabbed for it with both arms and the tail, trying to pounce on it and bite it. When it didn't break, he tried to bat it around with his tail. Elle flinched and felt panicked when he said that. He knew? She didn't know how to feel about that, not at all. He didn't LOOK scared, or angry, or threatening, he wasn't making any threatening moves towards her or her toddler, but she tensed up. That was until the meaning of his words sunk in. "...anyone else? You know of someone?" Surion Rakamash Surion watches the toddler for a moment before turning his attention to Elle, the water shapes did not stop as he does. "You mean besides my mother and myself? Not really, mind you I'm kind of... re-meeting people as I go" He raises a brow behind his bangs. Ellette E She sighed and tried to make her body relax, to untense, to stop wanting to 'defend toddler'. Elle felt a bit ashamed now. She glanced down at Spock and muttered, "Sorry. People don't like it, usually. I haven't met anyone else with it in them. Do you... do you... what's it like for you?" Surion Rakamash "Whats it like? well I cant say I really know anything else, was born with the heritages I have in me, including vampric, among others." he doesnt stop watching her... "Though I will say before you ask, i'm not reliant on what it's like outside weather-wise, or anything else like that" Ellette E "No, neither am I." Elle said. She was staring at him in a whole new light now, though he was attractive. In fact, she was a bit relieved to think she wasn't totally alone. But she didn't force him to talk about it anymore either, just in case it was something he was ashamed of. She didn't know. Elle didn't want to scare him off. "But I can get bad sunburn." She admitted, glancing out to the day. "Summer will be fun." Surion Rakamash He smiles "Well, not relying on anything in particular helps I'm sure" he looks over at the toddler. Surion didnt look at all ashamed of what he was, "So tell me, half the people I meet in here know me... Are you one of those I have to start fresh with, or do I not already know?" he couldnt help but wonder Ellette E "I... think I have met you." Elle said softly. She looked him up and down and added, "But I'm not sure when. I haven't been in here for months, this thing has been keeping me up all night then I've been working all day to pay for the food he eats." She prodded Spock with her toe gently, Spock was still trying to playattack his new prey. "But I'm Elle." Elle held out her hand. Surion Rakamash "Well then, might as well consider it a fresh new meeting" he chuckles and makes the water shape bounce a little "I'm Surion" he sees her hand and takes it firmly smiling, he did not offer any last name, he didnt have one to offer. "It's good to meet you, and your son" Ellette E "It's good to meet you as well." Elle meant it as well. It was good to meet someone who was part vampire, someone besides her and her child, and her lost sister. And he looked happy, and normal, and wasn't bothered by it. Maybe there was nothing wrong with it. She smiled a small smile and added, "Spock is glad to meet you also, though he may be trying to bite that now." Surion Rakamash He laughs hearing the biting comment "Dont worry, he cant hurt it, bite it, pounce it, it's just water, but it's held together, I'm kinda controlling it in that way, it's better then an upset kid who lost his prey" Surion relaxes and pushes his hair over one pointy ear "How old is he?" he enquires motioning to the child

Posted: May 3rd 2008 Transcribed from hereAt the clinic ~ Tinania.... Tinania Appearing just outside the doors of the clinic, aqua eyes gaze up at the building. She had let her little boy with Lucas, giving herself a chance to come here and gather so stuff she would need. Pushing the door open, she pulls her cloak off as her wings fold behind her back. Heading towards the desk, her finger push what little hair was hanging out of her ponytail away from her face. Glancing around, she pauses as she looks over the other two people. She knew them both, Surion and Elle, one being a person she hadn't seen since they were little. The other even after all this time made her heart stop, more so now that she seen he grown. Shaking her head, she looks away as she grabs a few things from the tables near the desk. In and out, that was how this should go. Surion Rakamash The dragonette looks up hearing at the sound of the door opening, he recognizes the female and starts chittering loudly, jumping down and skittering overSurion heard the voice of his bonded dragonette in his head and turns his head towards the little dragon who by this time had arrived at the female's feet. He hesitates pausing his conversation with Elle, but there was something he had to say "Hello..." he stands up from his seat and waits to see if the female would again avoid him as he'd noticed her do the only other time he could remember meeting her or not. Ellette E Elle smelt something and snatched the toddler up quickly, hurrying to the bathroom. Surion would probably have understood if he'd caught smell of it too... Tinania Tinania heard the dragonette near her feet. Bending down, she smiles as she picks him up " Hello again Senti. Its good to see you again." petting the dragon, she glances up as she hears an all to familiar voice. even grown it hadn't changed that much to her. Closing her eyes, she takes a deep breath. Looking up at Surion's face she nods alittle. She found for a moment she lost her voice, shaking her head she unfolds her wings for a moment before refolding them " Hello Surion..." Surion Rakamash Senti chitters for a moment until Tinania starts to pet him then he just nuzzles into her hand, loosely wrapping his tail around her wristSurion smelt the smell and watched Elle hurry out with her son. His eyes return to blue and the water dispurses and approaches her, she obviously knew him "I.. I would have to say it's obvious you know me" he pushes his bangs out of his face so he could look at her with both eyes. "Unfortunately I am not sure from where. I get a feeling you would rather avoid me, I'd like to appologize for whatever it was... I'm still trying to discover everything about the past that is missing from my memories" Tinania Chuckling she relaxes her arm allowing Senti to rest against her wrist. Glancing up, Tinania eyes widen for a moment as Surion spoke. He didn't know who she was, and she wasn't sure how to take that. Part of her was glad, as it would give her and him a fresh start. The other half on the other hand, wanted to cry and get angry. He was her whole world at one point, and he didn't remember anything about her. That just wasn't sitting well with her at all. iving a small nod, her fingers trail along the dragonette's spine " We do know each other. We were close at one point in our lives. I see you have grown, And for once before I grew, seems I have catching up to do." with a small chuckle, she looks away as she looks at the ground. Why after all this time, now he comes back into her life? Surion Rakamash Senti's atention was all on the attention he was recieving at that point"If I could remember my past I would, I really wish I could. A little over a year ago I met a guy named Dragono... From what he's told me I was working in a club in this world, he wanted me to meet someone in his world, in Faerun. When he took me there, me and mom both got pulled there, and I dont know how, but I dont have memories from before that point, he says his magic and my abilities... didnt mix, mom remembers less, but she won't come back here..." He sighs "The red haired guy I was here with last time I saw you in this building, Elliot told me I should know you, somehow I felt I should tell you that I plane-shift back here to try and remember my memories." Tinania Tinania was trying to put this all together, another world. Shift planes, and more dragon men. Was this why he gone? He was taken from her? Shaking her head she lifts her other hand to run it through her hair " I see, well as Elliot said we do know eachother. And you don't have to explain anything, really it is fine," looking back at Surion, she rest herself slightly against the desk. Her mind was boggled at this point, so many questioned were just answered. Everything that she wanted to know, he said at that very moment. So now she didn't know what to think. She just knew that she felt torn, and she didn't like this at all. Surion Rakamash "I guessed that after he told me your name, a name I had thought was jsut a word until that point when I read it on the ring..." He pauses a moment "Not many people in this world that I've come across me seem to know much about me, most don't actually. I don't even know much about me. Somehow I felt I needed to explain to someone here, maybe I can find someone here willing to help me figure things out."The psudo dragon rounds the edge of Surion's feet and looks up a look of near jealousy as he stares up at SentiSenti chitters a bit looking at Surion a moment and then nuzzling his head into Tinania's hand once more Tinania Tinania swallows before she actually reaches out holding hand free hand towards Surion " I have known you since you were a baby. I use to babysit you, I have watched you grow from a baby to a youthful, prideful, and strong young man." she stop speaking as she glance around. She didn't understand why she was even telling him anything. She should just go home, back to fair haven. to her adopted son. And yet, she was drawn to helping him, just like she did as he was a child. She always did hate seeing him lost. Surion Rakamash "It sounds like you probably know me better then anyone else I could hope to find." He takes her extended hand with his right hand and nods "I would be grateful for any help" he pauses, glances down nudging Kuyl away from his foot. "Theres a lot of emptiness in my memories... Something drew me back here to Gaia I would like to know what it was. When I grew a few days ago I saw flashes, still images of things I don't know I can only presume my past..." Tinania Looking down at her hand in Surions, she couldn't help but give it a squeeze. With a small shrugs she tilts her head as she looks at the dragon on the floor. Bending down slightly, she holds the hand which Senti is on out towards him also " Why not tell me about these images? I might be able to help you figure out what you are seeing." Surion Rakamash Kuyl snubs Senti and turns going back towards Surion's cloak.Senti uncoils from Nani's write and jumps down skittering after KuylSurion smiles and nods "Well, I've seen building nestled in woods... I've seen animals, fluffy dog like creatures... I've seen a waterfall and a spring... a few others too but I dont recall all of them at the moment" He didnt let go of her hand just yet, he would let her lead on that point Tinania Tinania chuckles watching Senti leave her wrist, before she stands slowly " I am not really sure about the first one you spoke of. But the dog, was a pet you once owned. I just don't remember the name you told me. As for the waterfall and spring, that was a getaway on your parents land. You took me there a few times, we use to jump off the waterfall into the spring. Then we use to chase after eachother." she knew she couldn't tell him everything that went on, that would be digging into dangerous memories for her at least. Looking back down at her hand, she chews on her bottom lip " The animal one, again I am not to sure about that." her heart was beating faster then she wanted it to. And that too was very nerving for her. Surion Rakamash Tinania was starting to fill blanks in for him, though he knew it was barely a fraction "I see, the only pet I recall is my bonded dragonette" he motions Senti "I dont beleive any others got pulled with mom and I" he pauses thinking "The spring sounds like a nice place, can you tell me where that land is? The images were pretty clear but they were only still, no people in them. If it helps I can put more description... If not thats ok, I really do appreciate the help" he shifts his weight the open portion of his shirt shifting, it made it obvious he no longer his the scars on his torso any longer. He follows her gaze to her hand and his right hand "If you know why that has your name on it too, would solve some confusion too" he adds Tinania Tinania didn't say anything until he spoke of the ring she kept looking at. Pulling her hand free of his, she runs it through her hair before she nods alittle " Um, yea we were suppose to get married. My mother made a set of rings for us. Mine said Surion, while your well it said Tinania." turning away, she reaches over the desk, grabbing ahold of the last item she needed. A coupon book full of stuff she could use for Seiji. Surion Rakamash Her words left him speechless for a moment as she grabbed the booklet "Oh dear Lo..." he says softly "I'm sorry, I honestly didn't know..." he looks at the ring for a moment before touching her shoulder "Look, I now understand why you avoided me last time we crossed paths..." he pauses "It also explains why it felt like there was something pulling me back to this world..." Ellette E Elle emerged, looking tired again, with a squirming fresh-looking toddler in her arms. He smiled, full of moos, hair-love and tail-love, clutching onto the end of Elle's long hair in one hand, his tail in the other. It had been in a braid when she'd left the room but now it was loose and wild, white in places where talcom powder had been showered down upon the room, apparently just the way the toddler liked it because he made it clear that she wasn't getting it back anytime soon. She sat down heavily in the chair and cuddled him close, not bothering to inturrupt the other two, dropping their bag onto the chair beside them. Elle shut her eyes and ignored Spock's gentle sounds of sucking, on her hair, and the low content 'mooo' he made occasionally. keetabirdy Keeta finally returned from the bathroom, letting out a deep breath and plopping back in her chair. She noticed that another person had entered since her departure and acknowledged her with a nod and a smile. Despite this being a maternity and fertility clinic, Keeta still found herself to be the only obviously pregnant person in the room. Tinania Looking up at Surion, Tinania arches a brow " A pull back to this world? Because of me?" chewing on her bottom lip, she was trying to make herself not think of this. For awhile there it was all she hoped for. Him coming back to her, but that was a thing of the past and she would leave it as such. " Its alright, really. Its alright." Surion Rakamash He nods slowly "A pull, a reason to figure out my past, if nothing else. I can understand, it is a long time since it all happened." He pauses and takes a deep breath. "Thankyou for the bit you have filled in... I can't expect to walk back into anything that was my old life. Perhaps I can make some new friends though" Tinania Tinania gives him a small smile before nodding " Yes the past should be left in the past. So there can be new beginnings." lifting her hand she brushed it through her hair, before letting her fingers drift to her neck. She almost expected a heart to be resting there. But then she remembers that it to was gone. Moving her hand to her side, she glances back at the ring on his hand. She honestly expected that to not be there, so to see it just threw her to a loop. She wasn't really sure what to think now, she was happy. But there was that what if, and it was something she was fighting. Placing both her hands behind her she nods her head " If you remember anything else, all you have to do is ask. I am willing to tell you anything you wish to know.." Surion Rakamash He smiles "Theres an entire lifetime of things I do not remember. It'd be a nice thing to remember more... In time of course perhaps be able to remember it all, I don't know though, Drag didn't sound all that sure that it could happen." he pauses, thought of removing the ring she glanced of did not cross his mind, he'd always left it there, a reminder to himself that he had a past... "Well I guess I can only say thankyou, a fresh start as some have called it when I meet or remeet someone would be nice. I still can't say I know a lot about you, perhaps we can start with that?" He pauses and looks around "Would you perhaps like to walk and talk?" Tinania Tinania first thought was to say no to Surion. Walking always led to other things when it came to them. But then he didn't know who she was at all. So it should be fine, nothing could happen. With a small nod she smiles " Alright I guess we could go for a walk. I have everything I need here."

Posted: May 3rd 2008 Transcribed from hereWalking, Talking and Re-learning Surion Rakamash Surion nods turning from her and shooing the dragonettes off his cloak so he could pick it up and put it on. It was only a moment after it was put on both dragonettes were on his shoulders. He did not lift his hood there was no need to. "Then lets get out of here" he waves to the young mother to be before heading for the door which he held open for Tinania Tinania Grabbing her own cloak, she place it around her shoulders as she slips through the door. The wind picks up the few strands of hair that she left loose. With a smile she hums to herself as she walks down the path alittle " So how much of the past do you remember Sur?" Surion Rakamash Surion walks with her, he kept a respectable distance between them as he does. "Well the earliest actual things I can remember doing is looking around a forest, a number of items around me, a blue disk, books, wands, spears, my mother among other things. The only real thing I can say is, only thing prior to that that I recal is learning skills, but not who taught them. Only other memories are images, not many of them at that" Tinania Tinania pauses before she speaks softly to herself. Her hands start to sparkle before a flying disc, as well as her wand appear in her hands. " My disc and wand?" turning towards him, she toss the flying disc towards the ground only to have it hover a few inches. Jumping onto it, she zips around Surion a few times, as she aims her wand towards the ground. She didn't speak, all she did was focus at the ground. A ring of gold comes bursting from the tip of the wand hitting the ground. It forms the spear that she knew well " Senti do you remember that?" hovering a few inches from the spear made a gold dust she smiles. " Things from my past, I gave you a blue disc much like mine. When you were little you couldn't fly. So the disc I gave you to move around faster. The wand was my magic. I use to create shapes as I sung stories to you. And that spear was given to you by my Aunt Eirnae." Surion Rakamash Senti sits up and jumps off of hte shoulder he was perched on, suddenly chittering up a storm as he grabs hold of the spear and lands on itOnce again Surion is speechless as he turns watching her fly around him on a disc larger but otherwise identical to the one on his shelves back in Waterdeep. "Well the wand looks different then that, but yes... that disc is the same.. And that spear, well it's leaning in my room, Senti only stays on it when I'm asleep," He watches her and glances at the disc she stood on "I didn't know what that was" he motions "it doesn't seem to float like that in the small form, I never figured out it could get larger" Tinania Tinania arches her brow before she shakes her head " You sure you weren't brainwashed? You took to the disc like you do to making water crystals, or even the water." stepping off the disc, she bends down picking the disc back up. Pressing a few buttons, she watches as it shrinks enough for her to place in her back pocket of her jeans. The wand was different, what other wand was there? Chewing on her bottom lip, her nose wrinkles up as she sighs " I'm sorry i don't know anything about this other wand. But the books, well like me you use to love to read. Any book you could get ahold of you had to read it." she pauses as she thought back to the first time she saw him as a teen. She was at the bookshop, and he came to see her. Surion Rakamash After a moment Surion laughs and smiles "No, not brainwashed, just a lost guy trying to sort things out, but I think I might try and figure it out now, I never really tried before, but I know what it is now... " He pulls open the pouch on his hip pulling out a small crystal lightly tossing it towards her "If I took to it like these, I'm sure I'll figure it out once more." He watches her chew her lip. Tinania Catching the water crystal, she looks at it, before her eyes fall close " This looks like the one you made for my..." pausing she shakes her head before looking up at Surion " Yea, you should take tot he disc again. As I said, you were pretty smart at learning those things." tossing the crystal back at him, she turns walking down the path some more. She kept chewing on her bottom lip, finding that this might have been a mistake. But he didn't know her, so she didn't have to worry. So why was she having a hard time keeping her heart from racing? Surion Rakamash Surion catches the crystal and drops it back into the pouch. "So tell me more about you? We keep talking about my past, information about me, but I suppose you could say you are part of that past." He walks beside her again his hands in his pockets of the pants he wore. Senti scampers after him and back onto his shoulder Tinania Tinania shakes her head before she shrugs " You don't want to know who I am, trust me. Not if you are beginning a new life. Lets keep who I am in the past for now, if your memory every comes back...Well then we will deal." reaching her hand out, she holds it towards Senti as she begins to hum again. The song was the sweet song she sung to him when he was a child. To this day, it still seem to place little kids to sleep. As she remember it did the same thing to her son Seiji. Surion Rakamash Senti chitters, looking at Surion a moment and then moves from Surion's shoulder, to Nani's hand, standing on his hind paws letting out what could only be described as a soft purr"All right, I'll respect that." He listens to her hum and closes his eyes for a moment thinking "A princess... and a Tower" he says under his breath. He opens his eyes once more looking at her and the dragonette Tinania Tinania continues to hum, her other hand lift to rub under Senti's chin. With a light chuckle, she looks at Surion. When she see he is watching her, she blushes then looks away " Senti purrs like you use to also." moving her hand towards her arm, she hopes Senti would crawl onto her shoulder. Allowing her hands to be free. She thinks over the song she was humming, the princess locked away in the tower. They all had happy endings, each story she sung. She believe that these things were true. But now, she didn't know what to believe. Surion Rakamash The small dragonette has no qualm with her wish and is soon sitting on Nani's shoulder, his long tail wrapped around her upper arm"Senti likes you I think, he's being overly talkative in my head and I'm trying to get him to be quiet a bit." Surion smiles "He doesn't often leave my shoulder for another's." He is quiet for a time before speaking once more. "Something tells me you've hummed that song around me in the past" Tinania Tinania chuckles as she lightly runs a finger over Senti's chin again " Senti use to sit on my shoulder all the time when you first got him. He seem to take a liking to me real fast. So I don't find it hard to see he is still the same." pausing she looks at Surion. The song she was singing, she did sing to him a very long time ago. With a nod she smiles " The first time I took you to the beach, after swimming you grew tired. So I sung that song to put you to sleep. It wasn't until after you grew to my age, that you used it against me, to make me fall asleep." as she thought about it, she couldn't help but smile. The more she talk to him, the more she was remembering how happy she was.. Surion Rakamash Senti settles in comfortably on her shoulder quite contently as she speaksHe chuckles with a smile "I could see myself turning the tables like that on someone if it was benefitial to the situation" He keeps pace with her. "Theres something else you could tell me... Something simple, something Dragono does not know, and sadly enough, my mother doesn't remember" Tinania Tinania arches a brow before she stops then turns to face him " Alright, what is it you want to know?" she was trying to figure out what he would want to know, that his mother also didn't know. Chewing on her bottom lip, her mind clicked before she looks away from him. By the goddess, she was hoping she was wrong on what he wanted to know. Surion Rakamash Surion stops as well noticing her stop "Well to be honest it's in a sense kind of embarassing but ..." he takes a breath looking sheepish "My name, or rather, the rest of it... As I said, mom remember even less then I do, and Dragono only knows us as Shicala and Surion, he tells me neither of us introduced ourselves by our full names" Tinania Tinania blinks, actually looking at Surion in shock. It was to the point he didn't even know his own full name. This was bad, real bad. Frowning she shakes her head before she steps towards him. Unfolding her wings, she flutters alittle off the ground as she place the back of her hand on Surion's forehead very lightly " Surion Asmodeus Rakamash. Are you sure you didn't get knocked out and brain washed?" Surion Rakamash "I'm sure, Mom got knocked out by stuff falling on her, but nothing landed on my head" He looked a bit flushed from being embarassed. He put the information of his name into the empty puzzle piece spot. He doesnt move from her hand as she feels his head. "It's embarrasing not to remember that info" Tinania Shaking her head Tinania smiles alittle " not really, I was the same way about a year ago. I was attacked and I lost my memory, so yea I know how it is to not know what is going on. People know you, but you don't know them. Being told stories, that you have know clue if its real or a story." falling quiet, she lets pulls her hand back just looking at his eyes. Shaking her head, she swallows before she takes a few steps back away from Surion. Looking away, she shakes her head. Surion Rakamash Senti chitters a bit, talking in Surion's head, but stays planted on her shoulderHe nods slowly, listening to her "Thats... thats when I bonded with Senti isnt it" he glances at the dragonnette on her shoulder. He wanted to to respect her wish and not ask about her past so didn't. Tinania Giving a small nod, Tinania looks at Senti " It was, you were trying to find me. Because I vanished during the night, and my aunt gave you Senti in order to make you sleep." chuckling alittle she looks up at the sky as the wind once again picks up " You didn't sleep for days I was told, so when you were bonded to Senti, it knocked you out cold." Surion Rakamash "I take it I was stubborn then" He chuckles listening to her explaination of it all. He couldn't have been more glad to have found someone who could fill in his pastSenti tips his head to one side looking into her eyes for a moment Tinania Tinania nods before she runs her finger lightly over the brim of Senti's nose " Indeed, about everything. More so, when you wanted to have me under you. You were determined that I wouldn't say no." looking away from Senti, Tinania looks back at Surion before she chuckles " Things between us was....interesting to say the least." she stop walking as she looks around, a small chuckle comes to her lips. They been walking this whole time, she didn't realize that they were at the Bookshop where she saw Surion as a teenager for the first time. Surion Rakamash Senti purrs slightly pushing his nose into the finger petting itHe laughs and smiles imagining the things she was telling him "At least they werent bad, interesting is better then bad by far" He looks at what was making her chuckle. He didn't say anything but was wagging his finger slightly trying to remember, he licks his lips for a moment before finally speaking "Am I imagining things in my memory or... something happened here... This is a image I saw, and you are chuckling right now" Tinania Walking towards the door, she smiles waving to the book keeper inside " You have been here before Sur. You decide to startle me after you grew, and was determined at that point that I was going to be your girlfriend." looking over her shoulder at him, she chuckles again " I was about to call you on my cell, but instead you called me while standing right behind me. My face was apparently priceless when i saw you." looking back towards the couches just in front of the window, it was like it was yesterday to her. Letting her hand drop, that was petting Senti she closes her eyes " You had that smile, that seem to melt my heart.." Surion Rakamash Surion nods and then laughs with a smile. "I can only imagine..." he pauses and stares at the couch "you weren't alone were you" He could imagine easily the desire to have her as a mate, he was finding her easy to talk to, even though he could imagine it wasnt easily for her Tinania Shaking her head she sighs " No I wasn't. I was with two of my friends Celia, and Tara were with me. They saw you, but neither said I word to me." she turns leaning carefully against the glass " You then went clubbing with us, for first huge event, and it was at a dance club. You tried to woo me most of the night, dancing with me and then you stole a kiss." once again, she fell quiet as she brought her finger to her lips. It was almost like she could feel that kiss again. Surion Rakamash "Clubbing... that wouldn't happen to be the club Drag says I was working at would it?" He listens to the rest of her words, he couldn't help but smiling even just picturing in his mind what she was describing. Senti chitters contentlyKuyl lifts his head lazily and looks at his dragonette counterpart Tinania Shaking her head Tinania arches a brow towards the other dragon. She knew she didn't know that one "Yea the very same one. You use to dress alot different then what you are wearing right now. More gothic and punk looking." shrugging she push away from the glass. Tiling her head to the side, she gave him a once over, her eyes taking in the new look. It was the one thing that made her realize she didn't know this Surion. This Surion was alot different then the one she use to know and love. Surion Rakamash Surion looks down at his belted pants and his top and black cloak "Well, there's not any places in Faerun or Skullport that sell clothing like I had when I first got to the land of WaterDeep, I liked the clothing though I still wear the pants and belt" He smiles "If I had more clothing like that I'd probably still be wearing it... Waterdeep isnt like Gaia at all" Tinania With a small nod, she steps towards him before pass him, her body alot closer to his at that point then any other time that day. Moving down the street she hums to herself once again as she goes back to petting Senti. Lifting her hand, she pulls her hair from its ponytail, letting it flow down her back. Her hair is alot shorter then it use to be. It only came to the middle of her upper back. Looking over her shoulder she smiles at Surion " Come on Dragon Boy..." Surion Rakamash Surion smiles as she passes him, he couldn't complain at all. Hearing her words a minute later laughs and runs a bit to catch up to her "Dragon Boy? a nickname I take it" he says slowing to a walk beside of her "Did you think I looked better with what I used to wear then?" he asks as they walk

Posted: May 3rd 2008 Transcribed from hereWalking, Talking and Re-learning! cont. Tinania Giving Surion a glance over, Tinania simply chuckles "I don't know, you look more like a prince now. So this look, well it looks good on you. As far as the nickname, yes Dragon Boy is a nickname. Although you often turned around and proved to me you weren't a boy." with a light chuckle, she pauses as she looks down at the ground. Her mind was racing as she thought of her past with him. Everything at one point was perfect, but now talking to him was easy. Yet at the same time not easy, just because she knew that they were as good as friends or as close as they once were. Surion Rakamash Surion quirks a brow "A prince? Well I never looked at it that way" he looks at his attire for a moment. "Point me in the right direction, perhaps I can fix it" he chuckles. "I doubt I'm anything of a boy, I would have to say I havent looked at myself as a boy in a very long time." He wasnt entirely sure what he had done to 'prove' himself though he could take a guess. He keeps pace with herSenti chitters and purrs happily he was quite enjoying his ride, the change from the normal perch he had on his bonded's shoulder. Tinania Tinania nods to his comments as they continue their walk. Her wings flutter behind her as her fingers run over Senti's body. She wasn't sure what else to talk to Surion about. He didn't know who she was at all, so she just couldn't bring up everything about who they once were, or who he once was. It would probably cause to much pain, and she knew neither him or herself needed that right now. Looking down at the pavement, she chews on her bottom lip. What to say, what to do..? The thoughts ran through her head, but again she didn't know what to do. Surion Rakamash "So no suggestions where I can fix the 'prince' look?" he chuckles "It's certainly not the look I'm going for, just a normal relaxed look..." He didnt' know what she was thinking about, though regardless her earlier comment he wanted to know his past, even if it was not a past he could no longer have. He just felt like there was a LOT of puzzle pieces missing which was a strange feeling Tinania Pausing, she turns to stand in front of him. With a chuckle she nods "Head to Durem Depot. Speak to Moira, she'll be able to help you. Just tell her Nani sent you and hello for me. I haven't been to her store in awhile now." turning away, she lifts her hair until she pulls it up into a ponytail. In truth the last time she been to Durem, was with Surion. Then she left her home and now. Well, she was happy living in Fair Haven. She was learning and training once more. But she knew how to get back to Barton, so she often wished herself back to the city. Just to see her family, or pick things up. Surion Rakamash "Durem Depot" he nods "Gotcha, I'm not sure where that is... but thats what I have a map for" he laughs "And I'll be sure to tell her hello for you" he pauses his thoughts "You said I grew for once before you, that you had some catching up to do ... I take it this wasnt always the case" He ignored Senti talking in his head by this pointSenti stands up on his perch on his hind paws dipping his little head up and down Surion wasn't listening to him, not at all.... Tinania Tinania chuckles as she nods "Since I could remember, I always grew before you. I guess because I no longer live around this place anymore, it has slowed my growing some. Not that I don't mind, it gives me a chance to do more in my life." with a small shrug, she place her hands behind her back as she glances around town. Giving a small wave to those she knew. She didn't know why, but even with so many around, she felt out of place here. Surion Rakamash "So you live away from the land of Gaia as well?" He inquires, he didn't know where she lived, not now, not really in the past. But he was definetaly curious to say the least. He spots a small drink bar and motions "thirsty?" he asks basically offering to buy her something to drink while they walked Tinania Tinania nods before she eyes the bar "Yes, but I use to live just outside this town. My family lives in the forest actually, I grew up around this town. But now I live in a city far from here called Fair Haven." pausing she chews on her bottom lip once more before nodding "I guess a drink couldn't hurt." She thought of Emerald Haven, and her home there. She couldn't help but smile as she remembered the happy times. Surion Rakamash "Can't say I've ever heard of Fair Haven, is it much like this place, or is it vastly different, like WaterDeep is compared to this place" he turns his path now headed for the juice bar. He orders himself a juice as he pulls out some gold from his pouch "Get whatever you want, my treat" Tinania Tinania looks over the different juices "Can I have some orange juice please?" with a smile she grabs the glass as she pulls out her wallet "And its fine Sur, you don't have to pay for me." holding out her credit card, she chuckles as she thinks about Fair haven "Its actually very much like this, only trapped in the medieval era as I put it. Everyone is dressed up fancy, everyday no matter what they are doing. Its almost bothersome." Surion Rakamash Surion chuckles "As the lady insists" he tells the server as he pays for his juice and dumps the remaining coins into his pouch closing it up "medieval period eh, I'm not sure I could imagine dressing up fancy every single day, but to each their own, there are some people where I live who like to dress up, but not too many, the only ones who seem to do it on purpose are like the bar wenches and such. You see them walking the streets now and then." He takes a drink of the juice, he wasn't sure what he liked about it, but it was one of his favorite drinks to get at this little place since he'd first found it a couple visits prior. "I find where I live a little more... unlike this place in technology, a bit further behind if I had to decribe it, none of those telephones I see people walking around with, a lot of magic though." << work in progress >>

Starteded May 2nd, 2008 Transcribed from hereSurion meets Bronwen Surion Rakamash Surion steps out of the shadows of the forest.

Posted: May5, 2008Happy Birthday Surion It was his third birthday, he knew he'd never celebrated one in WaterDeep world. So instead he decided to spend at least part of it in the Gaian world. It was early afternoon by the time he reaches Gaia, he'd spent his morning preparing his picnic and doing his hunt. Now he was walking along the very edges of the forest looking for a good place to set up his picnic.
Elle wandered around. Her day off books and walking and she was out... walking. She almost laughed at herself for that, she could have lounged around all day, but instead here she was, wandering around. Her ears heard him long before she saw him, and Elle snuck up on the sounds of the vampire-blood youth she'd met earlier, curious. She stared through the trees at him, astonished. A picnic?! Maybe he had something else in there. Like... what was manly? Like porno magazines. She went a bit red around the ears and wondered if she should back away now. Just in case. Surion's ears and nose picked up her scent far before his eyes did, his hood was up but as usual he had both dragonettes with him. He turns his head looking in the direction of the familiar scent, what would be different though is his gem, horns and tails would not be visible, he had not yet taken his ring off. "Hi there... Elle right?" he greets her from where he stood
"Yes, Elle. Hi... Surion?" She kicked her genetics again, they really had been making her mind jump to the wrong conclusion, and headed out slowly, unsure. Maybe he was meeting a lover here. Elle didn't want to interrupt that either. "Am I interrupting something?" "Yeah, it's Surion" he nods and gives her a friendly smile. "As for interrupting anything... nope not unless you consider a solo-like birthday picnic to be something to interrupt" he laughs "You are welcome to join me if you like"
"A solo-like birthday picnic? How could I resist?" Elle replied. She smiled, clearly a lot more relaxed when there was only a few of them, and sat down beside him to gaze at what he'd brought. "So what do you eat for one of those special picnics?" Surion laughs "Well for this one I brought stuff I've hunted and prepared in Waterdeep's forest." He motioned everything in front of him, it was obvious he packed with more then enough to stuff himself. Surion undoes the cloak setting it to a side, though neither dragonette sat on it, rather they looked at him expectantly. On the blanket was sandwiches... made with rabbit meat, a salad made with wild vegetables and herbs and such, some fruit and a couple closed thermoses
"Sounds pretty good..." Elle admitted, obviously impressed. She looked at it and wondered where he'd learnt to cook. It looked good. Smelt really good too, it was worth her trouble with food later. She picked up one of the thermoses, wondering if he carried warmed blood or something. What did other part-vampires drink? Elle sniffed it then held it away, staring. Was that... "What is this?" Surion had been giving the dragonettes some meat for their meal as Elle browsed the menu. "That one is just some juice I made from some wild fruit." he nods his head pulling a sandwich to himself and moves the other thermos
"Is that so?" She murmured and closed it again. Juice was good for blood. It was good energy. Elle would ...she noticed him moving the other and was instantly upon it, straight away, pouncing as if it had suddenly become her prey. What was he doing with the other one? "And this one?" Elle asked as she snatched it out of his grasp. She sniffed and blinked. Then sniffed again. It was that. Elle glanced sideways at him with a 'caught you' look. "Isn't this a bit advanced for a third birthday?" She teased, amused, but added, "You should wait till you're around fourish. Like me." Surion looks at her rather startled when she snatches it away. Oh was she in for a surprise when she actually realized what he'd snuck out of his mother's storages before coming to this world. "Well I'm not sure about waiting till I'm four... Fermented dragon's blood always has been good, mind you that one is stronger then any I've had previous" He continues with his sandwich looking at her through the corner of his eye.
"Fermented dragons blood?" Elle asked and stared into the thermos. It was blood then, but why was it fermented? She was curious beyond anything and decided to throw manners to the wind. His own fault for telling her it was that without explaining why they fermented it. She sipped it and swallowed. "So why is it fermented?" She asked as she tried to decide if she liked it or not. Blood, like always, tasted incredible compared to other food... but it still had a strangeness to it that Elle couldn't place. She swallowed a small gulp quickly before he could manage to get it back, if he tried. "Fermented blood is stronger then any other alcohol I've ever heard of. As for why it's fermented? mom has a taste for it, and it's my birthday, so I snuck some from home" He chuckles and sets the sandwich down on a napkin resting his hand on his knee and watching her
Ah. Alcohol. She usually could drink litres of the stuff and get nothing more than a stomach ache but this was blood. Elle wondered... she did feel it in her system, already. "Here." She said and gave it back to him. "If you snuck it out, you should drink it." Plus, Elle added as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye, if he could get drunk on it then she could too. He was a perfect test subject. Elle leaned back on her hands and felt it work its way into her blood, curious. It was doing something... maybe... it was strong. She glanced back to him, watching him. Surion laughs and takes the thermos from her. "Yeah, soon as I have a little more food in my belly, hunting makes me rather hungry" He finishes up the sandwich before pouring some of the deep red liquid into the lid of the thermos. "Cheers to birthdays" he says before leaning back on one hand and drinking from the lid.
"Yes, happy birthday." Elle agreed. She smiled, her face had relaxed, and she smiled at him in a friendly way then leaned back and looked up at the sky, resting on her elbows. "Got anything you want for your birthday?" She was still watching him out of the corner of her eye and leaned forward to take a small bite of the food. Hunting. Elle hadn't tried that but it seemed like a smart and practical idea. It would save money. "Well the only thing I could wish for I very much doubt I'd get, I have some of it now, but still not everything." He puts the nearly empty lid down beside him and sits upright again. He pushes up his sleeves not really thinking about the fact that it revealed a mess of scars on his upper left arm as he reaches for some fruit
"You never know what you'll get. I hope you get almost all of what you want, at least." Elle answered. She glanced down as she reached for something else to eat and stared at his arm, surprised and a little horrified. "What happened to your arm? Is it okay?" Surion smiles as he takes hold of a piece of fruit, "Thanks" he says with a nod but knowing getting his memories back wasn't going to be as easy as flipping a switch. "What? Oh... been a long time since I'd gotten these, even before my loss of memory. That's barely a fraction of them though"
"Where else?" She glanced away, embarrassed. Maybe that wasn't something he wanted to share. "It looks bad. Painful. I can't imagine what that would have been like to endure. I don't know if it's lucky you can't remember it or not." Elle went quiet as she chewed on a piece of fruit, wondering how she'd feel if she forgot everything. It wouldn't be easy at all. "Did you keep a diary before... it all? Or is that something guys don't do?" Surion stops and debates a moment then puts down his fruit, it was a fairly quiet area, and he was a guy so it didn't entirely worry him so much. He slips the black vest off and then pulls the off-white shirt off. Scars were visible as if claws or sharp teeth were dragging across the skin or puncturing it starting on his upper left arm and across his front and back most of his front and back and the left shoulder and upper arm were covered in them and they didn't look new. "I don't know if I kept a diary, I don't even know where my old home was." he replies to her question
Elle stared. First thought was 'holy crap, OW' and then she realized what else she was looking at and glanced away, embarrassed, annoyed at herself for the way she reacted. Male's chests were different from female chests and she had no reason to be embarrassed. So she swallowed the lump of fruit that'd gotten caught and said softly, "That is really painful looking. It might be lucky that you can't remember the pain." She forced the 'hot blooded elf mood', as it was put, back into the hidden part of her body as she always did, the only sign of it being the way Elle's tail twitched from side to side at the tip in slight agitation. She poured herself a little more of that blood and swallowed it. It was relaxing, if nothing else. "I don't remember getting them so it doesn't bother me, I remember learning to hide them, I don't remember who taught me though. I don't really see any point in hiding them... They are a part of me" He looks at them for a moment before slipping the shirt back on. He picks up the lid of the drink and drinks the last of it before putting his weight on one hand again relaxing. He didn't really realize the 'mood' she was hiding at that moment was there.
Elle relaxed back when the shirt was put on, ignoring the other side of her that was sending images of ripping it off with her teeth. Mmm, rippy teeth. She rubbed her eyes and blinked, as if that'd get it off. What was wrong with her anyway? She normally had better control, even during these periods of the hot blooded thing. "No, you shouldn't hide them. But they do make me wonder what on earth could do that to you. Or off earth, for that matter." She murmured softly. Surion nods taking the thermos and pouring the last of the fermented blood into his cup before screwing the lid back on the thermos "A beast is what I would gather, I have a pelt back home that is a huge jaguar, it's quite possible it was a beast like that" he didn't even realize that was info he wasn't supposed to share with those who were not hunters of the cliffs. He rubs his shoulder where she a moment before would have seen a round black circle when he had his shirt off before finishing off the drink.
"A jaguar? That would be quite a fight." She said softly and saw him rubbing the area on his back. Elle's mind happily reminded her of the mark on his naked back and she scowled. Stupid mind. "What was that circle?" She asked, ignoring herself again, she was relieved he'd finished the drink. It wasn't good to let the instincts run riot in her like that, and the blood made it worse. Elle was aware of so much more when she drank blood, of others and of herself. "Which circle?" He lifts a brow, he doesn't realize immediately that she was referring to one of the two nodes on his shoulder blades. He plays with the ring on his right middle finger, right next to the one that he still didn't want to remove as it reminded him he still had a lot of his past to remember.
"Ah. Nevermind." Elle replied and decided to dilute the blood with more food. It didn't look like he was getting drunk, so she probably wouldn't, but she decided it was better safe than sorry. "Probably a trick of the shadows." Surion laughs "Oh no you don't, don't think you can ask a question and not wanna finish the question" he picks up the fruit once more and bites into it while watching her
"I don't know. There was a round dark circle there. You were rubbing the area. I don't know what it was, maybe you got head butted at some point by a goat with a cut off horn. Or you got a tattoo." Elle shrugged and smiled. She begged inside, please don't take that shirt off. Please. The blood was making her body's blood pulse through every single inch of her and she shivered. "Oh!" Surion chuckles and grins, he takes off the ring on his finger and pockets it bringing his draconic and Kersallian features into visibility. "You mean my nodes" He stretches and relaxes watching her
"Your nodes?" Elle watched the change with a mix of curiosity and envy. Imagine... being able to hide something physically so no one stared. She felt watched and hoped he wasn't aware of the way her blood was racing. Instead, she tried to focus on him, see if he was being affected. Damnit. He needed to get drunk so he wouldn't remember. She wished she had more alcohol. "I guess I do. How does that ring work?" "To be honest I'm not entirely sure, Dragono gave one to me and my mother, features like these are far from normal where we live, it's to help us have less questions to answer. Luckily the nodes hide my last feature without it..." He doesn't look away, the purpose of the nodes became obvious when two large black wings slipped through invisible seams in the back of his shirt from the exact same spot the nodes were.
"Ah." Wow, Elle thought, reaching forward to gingerly touch one to make sure it was really there. It was. She pulled her hand back and asked the obvious question, at least obvious to her, "How on earth did they fit in there?!" Surion laughs and then shrugs "Don't ask me, I only remember being taught how to fold them away." He looks at all the food around them and frowns slightly "Need more to drink" he muses as he reaches over petting the head of the psudo dragon
"Useful trick though." She replied and murmured her agreement to the drink thing. He did need more to drink. "How do you get more to drink out here?" "Well to get more of that particular drink I'd have to go to the inn and well to mom's room and get some." He taps his chin thinking about this
"Ah. How far away is the inn?" She asked. Elle smiled and popped another piece of fruit in her mouth, thinking. Walking would help too. "It did taste sort of good... and it is your birthday, can't hurt to try a bit more." "It's in Faerun, I'd have to planeshift and then go from there to the inn" He smiles giving the dragonettes some more meat and nods "Birthdays don't come all that often I'll admit"
"No, they don't." Elle agreed. "Faerun... planeshifting... I'm impressed, I admit. You'll have to tell me about it, the magic aspect of it, when your birthday is over." "Plane shifting is what originally caused my memory problems, but we overcame the problems that caused it, found a way around it to allow me to shift safely. I can get more to drink, but it'd take about fifteenish minutes and some sneaking to do it" he folds the wings away as he speaks
"I can wait. The clouds are nice today." Elle replied and lay back on the grass, watching them. She added to him, as an afterthought, "Maybe you should find some cake and three candles, you're such a big boy now." She was teasing but only slightly, it was just how it was for the GMFC kids... they couldn't help their aging processes. Surion gives her a look and shakes his head "Anyone ever tell you you are a brat?" He stands up grabbing his cloak and vest, both dragonettes move rather quickly to his shoulders "If you can wait I'll be back shortly then"
"I can be if I want to be." Elle agreed and shrugged. It was better than being other things, she thought, and nodded. "Okay. But don't risk getting caught... don't want you in trouble for something like this." Surion laughs and shakes his head again "All right, feel free to snack on the food I'll be back shortly" he slips his ring on once more pulling his hood up before moving into the trees leaving her with the remainders of the picnic
She watched him go and rested back again, shutting her eyes and waited patiently. It would be interesting to see if he'd get caught, Elle thought, maybe he was clumsy or something... she opened one eye and slowly tried to eat, waiting, hoping she hadn't gotten him into trouble. It took a little longer then the fifteen minutes before the tall male was emerging from the trees once more, the hood of his cloak throwing his face into shadows as he approaches the picnic site
Elle looked up, a bit anxious now, she felt terrible. Maybe she had gotten him into trouble, this could be daddy come to tell off the bad mixed blood elf girl. Or someone. "Is that you?" She asked, sitting up, looking at the hood. "Who else would it be? Mom doesn't come here, neither does Drag" he pushes the hood back and off his top of his head as he puts down another thermos. He undoes the cloak dropping it lightly to the group .
"I can never tell with people who can pop around without any obvious effort." Elle answered but she relaxed back onto her back and rested her hand on her stomach. "Did you find yourself a birthday cake too?" Surion laughs "No I did not get a birthday cake" he drops lightly onto the picnic blanket once more and reaches for the thermos he brought back with him
"Oh well. Um..." Elle sat up and pushed a twig into a small piece of fruit, then handed it to him. "Blow it out and you get a wish." She let him drink first, deciding that she might wait a moment. He laughs and takes the fruit with him and then sets it down, he pours himself a drink and sets the thermos down before he starts to drink it. "If that were a real candle I would"
"You could still do it. Just blow really hard, till it falls out of the fruit." Elle handed it to him and waited, hoping he'd at least try. She'd stuck an illusion in it so that if it did fall out, a spurt of 'fire' would shoot out at his nose. It wouldn't burn but she hoped it might startle him a bit. He smiles and chuckles taking a gulp of his drink before taking the piece of fruit from her humoring her and blowing at the twig. The effect seriously did startle him, it did not help he was beginning to feel a touch tipsy
Elle sat up and tugged him down to sit down beside her so she could pat his head. "Just magic tricks, don't worry." << WIP >>

Posted: May 12, 2008SkullMonkey on the Beach It was a beautiful sunny day all through out Gaia, and since she had only one class to teach today, Tourmaline decided to lay out on the lake's beach in the park and peruse the many school pamphlets Slush had given her. Wanting to show off her recent weight loss and to work on maximum skin toasting, she was wearing a bikini and laying on her stomach, the booklets scattered around her in neat piles. Her headphones and sunglasses were on, with her tail moving to the beat behind her as she read. Surion was once again in the lands of Gaia following paths of info trying to remember his past. He'd plane shifted a couple hours prior and was slowly heading no where in particular. A soft breeze had lifted up off the water of the lake and it felt refreshing, especially for a male who was wearing pants, shirt, vest and his normal cloak. Each dragonette on his shoulders but both 1/2 asleep sunbathing in their own way where they were. He wore the ring that hid his features making him look no less 'human' as the next person. He eventually stops, looking out over the water, not realizing his shadow was partially blocking the sun from the sunbathing female
It wasn't until her tush started to get cold that Tourma peered around to see if it was some sort of creeper. When she saw Surion, the teen was convinced that a man wearing that many layers of clothes standing over a half naked girl was indeed of creeper material. "Oy, you sir are blocking my sun." Only then did she notice the two dragons on his shoulders. Cute, but were they real or fake? Surion jumps slightly, his thoughts distracting him as he had been staring out over the water. "Oh! I'm sorry" he moves so he is no longer obstructing the sun. Both dragons lift their head in protest of his sudden movement. The jaguar one chittering at him a moment.
Ah, so they were real. Tourma pushed her sunglasses up onto her head and took a closer look at this man. "Thank you," she stated pleasantly, tone changing when he seemed to not be an obvious creeper. Then again, this was in fact Gaia. "It's quite a warm day to be wearing so many layers, cold blooded or just trying to stand out on a beautiful spring day?" Surion chuckles slightly looking at her from behind the bangs that were obscuring half of his face, she seemed familiar but he couldn't place her. "It's not quite this warm in WaterDeep at the moment, and you'd be surprised I'm not all that overheated at the moment"
Seeing as they would probably be conversing for a bit, Tourmaline rolled onto her back and propped herself up with her elbows, sliding her sunglasses back on. "I'm usually only in layers, as I don't do cold well, so I shed them the moment I can... Clearly." She nodded down towards the discarded clothes on her blanket, neatly folded beside her. "WaterDeep? Forgive me but I've never heard of this place." "You probably wouldn't, it's on another plane then Gaia is." He explains though he's somewhat vague at the same time. He glances at her attire "Well I cant imagine tanning wearing more then that" he agrees before looking back to her face.
Senti chitters at him a moment and then scampers down his cloak to the group and towards the female with curiosity
"Yep, I don't have any magical abilities or anything cool like that," she shrugged half heartedly before flicking her tail tip at the approaching little dragon. Maybe they were baitable with fluffy moving objects like cats. "Do you have a name stranger from another plane?" Senti glares at the tail for a moment almost as if to say 'you're joking me right?' Then turns to her moving a lil closer more interested in her then her tail
Surion watches Senti to make sure the creature behaved itself, it was talking to him in his head but he was for the most part not listening "I'm Surion" he introduces himself "You'll have to forgive me you may call me a stranger but I could about swear I've seen you somewhere before"
She smiled at the dragon and stuck her tongue out at it as if to say 'well you're little, of course I'm going to assume such.' "Maybe you have, I go out a lot and wear a lot of bright colors usually." Flicking her bangs out of her eyes, Tourma seemed thoughtful for a moment before shaking her head. "I can't place you either way, but I'm Tourmaline. Most people call me Tourma though. Nice to meet you." Her hand was offered in a friendly shake, and despite her thin state, her grip was strong and firm. Surion moved to squat slightly accepting the handshake. He was thinking as he did "The clinic" he says suddenly a moment later, mind you most the people he HAD met on this plane were met there. He smiles feeling the firm hand shake.
Senti chitters at her not very far from her at all, her brightly colored hair interesting him as she was nothing like others he'd met prior
Cocking her head to the side she paused for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, possibly. Why not?" Hearing the noise from the little animal, she reached her hand down cautiously as to not startle the sharp teeth of the curious dragon. "So what are you doing back in Gaia then?" Exactly opposite to her concern, Senti actually pushed his little head into the palm of her hand, he loved attention, and he made no effort to hide that if he did not consider the person a threat.
"Trying to recover my memories actually, Tinania says I was born here, I don't remember most of my past though, most of the memories I do have are fragmented and pieced together from what others have told me" He plays with the silver ring on his right middle finger then pulls it off pocketing it, suddenly the features it hid came into sight, his gem on his forehead, his tall horns, his long tail and his pointy ears as well
While she was listening to Surion, her gaze was on the little dragon that was being such a little pet whore, and of course, she encouraged the behavior, raining attention on the wee creature. When she returned her attention to the man, Tourmaline was slightly startled, but managed to keep a passive face, her eyes covered by her sunglasses at least. "I think I remember meeting Tinania, or at least hearing the name at some point. I've kind of steered clear of the clinic as much as possible, it's either dead or positively stuff with people." With a nod of her head, she motioned for him to take a seat if he wanted. Senti lets out a little 'purr' and happily accepts the attention
Surion settles onto the sand nodding "Yeah I've noticed this, it's a strange place to be honest... Mostly parents, only a few others"
"And of course you always have to tell the parents just how cute their newborn drooling child is, regardless of weather it looks like the wrong side of a baboon's a** or not." She tutted to herself while her tail swished in agitation. Surion chuckles "I've only met a couple babies so far, but they were pretty cute just the same" He chuckles inwardly about how blatantly honest she was about her opinions on the matter
"Of course, I'd like to think that I was a cute baby, but I was probably a bald little thing too," Tourma gave a half hearted shrug and continued to scritch the dragon. "Do you know your parents anymore, or is that something you seek? Wait... How old -are- you?" She peered at him over her sunglasses. "Oh I know mom, she's in WaterDeep, don't know who my father was. As for how old I am.. I'll let you guess" the adult grins slightly, his eyes held a slightly mischievous look as he says this
Placing an index finger to her lips, she tapped the lower one in mock thought, "Well... The only people I know with memory loss are old farts, so you must -clearly- be ancient." She sent him a cheeky grin as she bobbed her head up and down in agreement to her statement, it was clear she was being sarcastic. "Where are the wifey and kids?" Surion laughs "If you consider three to be ancient then so be it" he couldn't help but laugh at her comment about her guess. He grows a little quiet at her second question "I have neither actually" he admits
"Join the club! We have decoder rings and stylish headbands." Scratching her stomach absently, the Skullmonkey suddenly chuckled to herself, "I think I'll be three in September, actually. Whodathunk." Surion laughs whole heartily at her joking, he pushes his bangs over his ear on the side of his face that the bangs did not cover "Perhaps the decoder rings will help me decode my past" he winks
"Well they're not that high quality, or else there'd be no more club! Besides, most of my friends are either family or male dancers... And not the stripping kind, mind you." Pushing her sunglasses back up, she chuckled and patted her stomach for the little dragon to curl upon if he wanted to. Senti glances back at Surion then scampers up onto the girls warm belly, his little toes tickling the skin as he moves light-footedly
Surion laughs once more "I was told I worked at Nights Portal as a dancer before the plane shift that caused my memory loss" he nods in thought
Initially, she squirmed and arched her back slightly while Senti scrambled across her ticklish stomach. Once he settled, so did she and Surion's comment caught her attention. "You were a stripper? Wow, Dad would kill me if I tried that, but it's not like I have the body anyways. I do teach classes across town though, and I dance through a company." Surion shakes his head quickly "No nonono" he puts his hands up "Just as a dancer" he adds quickly not wanting to get the wrong impression across
Senti chitters and settles with a soft purr his head bobbing looking for more attention
She chuckled, "No judgement if you were. You gotta earn money to eat, I imagine. Though pole dancing will get you in damn good shape, so I've heard." With an eyeroll towards the creature, she returned to petting him. "So motorcycle or car?" "Wing or foot primarily" he answers though knowing it wasnt an option she'd given, he as unaware at this point he had a motorcycle of his own
"Psh," she waved dismissively, "Admittedly, I'm quite biased as I built my own motorcycle myself. Dad only helped a little." "That's pretty cool actually" Surion smiles "I'm guessing it's a good ride then, I might have had something a while back but I don't know... It's the joys of remembering nothing" he makes a face at that thought
"Well it does mean you have a clean slate for a life, but I guess it is frustrating." Her stomach growled loudly, but she ignored it. "Yeah that's true I suppose, and it's definitely frustrating, but it brings me back here, it's why I DO come back to Gaia. To try and find my past. I've found some of it but I have more to sort out still." His keen hearing picking up the audible sounds of her belly but he said nothing
"I bet it'll all just hit you one day and mind ******** you when you least expect it. That's what always seems to happen. Where were you headed today then, if you don't mind me asking?" "Just for a walk, wasn't sure where I was going to go just yet, no real destination" he thought about what she said, he wasn't sure if he would remember like that, he wasn't sure what he'd do if he DID, especially after having learned he had been engaged.
"Flying by the seat of your pants then? Sounds like fun. Today's my day off so I refuse to do any work especially with the weather so wonderful." She thought for a moment before continuing, "You could always find someone who reads minds. I always hear about Fa'e people doing s**t like that. I just have normal naked in front of crowd nightmares. Bor-ring." "Sounds like fun, relaxing and doing nothing" He chuckles and shakes his head, her comment about someone reading minds reminded him of Ceres' offer "I could but then I'm not sure if I'd want that or not really, I'll think about it"
"Well you either want to know your past, or you don't. Seems pretty simple to me. Either path you chose will be hard in it's own way. Though I guess you could just... remain in the state you're in for an indefinite amount of time. But if you meet someone and you're lost in yourself still, then I don't think you'll find happiness." She chewed on her lip, "Then again, I could be wrong and overthinking things. I tend to do that a lot lately..." "Well certainly it's something to consider one way or another but we'll see, only time will tell" Surion leans on his hands looking out over the water and thinks for a moment ""I haven't really been looking for any form of a relationship as yet"
"Hell I just want guys interested in me like that, but as I said before, guys seem to either want me for friends, sex, or both. And that's kind of lame, to say the least." Blinking, she blushed suddenly, "Look at me talking about these things and I just met you. Without alcohol even." Surion laughs after listening to her "I've been told I'm a good listener" he admits "Don't worry I'm not gonna tell anyone"
Senti nudges her hand looking for much as attention as he could get, he didn't get as much attention with just Surion
"Is he usually like this?" She asked, chuckling once more at the dragon's antics. "Thanks though, I shouldn't yap about all this stuff as it is, but frustrations are running high. My parents want me to attend a boarding school or something like that." "He can be, especially if he gets some attention to start... Senti behave" he scolds lightly to the dragonette. "Boarding school? I take it you don't want to go then?"
Senti looks up at Surion the look on his little face just about read 'but but but'
"I feel like I'm old, but if it had a good dancing program sure. Then again, they all seem to be really strict on weight requirements, so it doesn't matter if I have the skill if I'm a fatass." Her attention stayed on the dragon this time, focusing on the creature's amusing expression. "I understand, I think I'd act the same way as him... If I could." "If you are old then I am old, and I'm not old, least not in my books. As for weight I don't think it should matter" he frowns and shakes his head with a sigh. But then the male had never had weight problems.
Senti was quite happily accepting the attention she was giving
"And yet, it still does," Tourma replied, "But I'm fixing that, so it'll be okay soon, I hope." Even with her words of assurance, she looked doubtful, unsure of whether she could lose enough weight to counteract the mass of the metal. "Don't make yourself sick for it, it's what's inside that counts and that's what I believe" He changed his posture and leans against his knees as he speaks
She put on a mask of a smile the moment he said that, "It does seem much simpler for guys, besides... I'm not making myself sick." She was making herself healthy and beautiful, so she could dance and be loved. "Good stuff, I hope you achieve the goal you wish to reach." Surion nods and looks at the small dragon for a moment "So what do you do normally, you said this was your day off" he was attempting to change the topic
Thankful for the topic change herself, she immediately perked up. "Well I repair old machines and what have you and sell it on Ebay. Plus I dance and teach dance. If I have a bit of extra time between all that I usually do pilates or yoga, just for fun of course. Sometimes I'll baby my baby... My motorcycle that is. Man do I love a good, long ride on her." By this point, her bi-colored eyes were bright and overly filled with excitement. Surion notices the change in attitude immediately, his eyes shift from blue to a emerald green he starts playing with a small ball of water between his hands but he does not look at it as he listens "Sounds like you truly enjoy what you do then"
The eye change caught her attention first, and her brows furrowed before she noticed the movement in his hands. "Oy, showoff," Tourma scoffed playfully, "And of course I love what I do... Why would I do it otherwise?" "Showoff?" his brow quirks not realizing what she meant by that. "I'm glad that you do, I enjoy learning new skills, and exploring myself, swimming and a good flight also make me feel content."
She motioned to his hands, "The water." Surion glances at his hand and chuckles "Sorry, I wasn't even noticing, I just get fidgety," he smiles "I could make this even fancier..."
"Oh do show!" Magic was something that she had no ability in whatsoever, so while it made her vapidly jealous at times, she always enjoyed seeing it preformed. Surion laughs making the ball of water a bit larger "gimme a shape, item, whatever that you would like to see made with this"
"Ohhh! Surprise me, it can be like Cherades!" She sat upright sharply, knocking the poor dragon around at the very least, and clapped her hands together excitedly. Senti chitters in an agitated manner and skitters away and back up Surion's cloak to his shoulder
Surion laughs and thinks "Okay" he looks around and eventually decides on a miniature book which is open about just under 1/2 way
"Ha! Easy! A book of course." Tourma chuckled loudly, enjoying herself. "But impressive all the same." Surion laughs creating an identical shape with bright green energy in his other hand, she'd not seen yet what he planned to do with the shape
"Ooooh, what's the green stuff? And how did you learn to do all this?" For the first time in a long time, she had forgotten about everything else that was worrying her. Or at least, a rather massive chunk of it. "It's energy, and it's part of my heritage someone, I don't remember who, trained me how to use it a long time ago" he brought both shapes together between his hands, the 'book' was no larger then 3 inches from side to side across the pages, there was a bright flash of light between his hands when he did this
She made again, a sound of awe, but this time she leaned far forward, her nose almost touching the little book itself. Her eyes were wide in wonder, like a little kid at the circus for the first time. "You're lucky, none of my family can do magic." Surion opens his hands and instead of either energy or water there was a crystal, perfectly clear with a hint of blue in it, and it was exactly the same shape as the water and energy had been only a moment earlier "Not sure if it's magic or not, I've grown to used to being able to do it without even thinking"
If it was possible, her eyes grew wider. "So, I've been able to fix machines since I was wee little, but that's not magic. This is so cool. Gods I sound like a little kid, listen to me." Blushing, she laughed at herself before tentatively reaching towards it. "Can I... Touch it?" She asked, looking up into his eyes cautiously. Surion laughs and holds it between one 'side' of the book and hands it towards her "You can have it I'm not worried" he smiles, his eyes still green
She attempted to hid a squeal as she took it carefully in her fingers, her hand lightly brushing his during the exchange. "It's beautiful, thank you so much. Is it blue quartz?" "You are welcome, actually it's a water crystal. no other race can make them then my mother's heritage. " He explains watching her reaction
"Wow. Damn, you know how many geologists would love to get their hands on one of these just to study, or to just stare at?" Her fingers traced along it's shape carefully before holding it up to the sun to peer through it. Man, she wished she could make crystals out of nothing! "I have no idea, I think these are currency where my mom is from." He watches her examine it and smiles
"Renewable money then? If you guys can keep creating it, does it not drop in value over the years?" She crossed her legs in a pretzel shape and set the book crystal on her thigh carefully, before peering up at him curiously. "Jeez, and here my parents were telling me how special I was to have metal for a skeleton." "I don't know, I don't remember ever being there if I have been" he pauses his words and raises a brow "Metal skeleton? Must make it awful hard to get like a broken leg or whatever"
"Yeah, but I sink like a rock in water, and the cold causes it to seize or something. I almost died as a kid when I went outside in the snow and got lost. Dad's whole arm is metal." Tourma rambled, poking her index finger to the metal piece visible on her cheek. "I am pretty hard to haul away though, and I pack a mean punch... For a non-Amazon girl." "I can only imagine, I am not sure I would want to have that concern for myself, but it certainly does make you a unique person" He nods his head his eyes returning to blue as they talked about her background
"It's what people keep telling me, at the very least, but I still think making water crystals out of nothing is way cooler." She offered him a toothy grin. Surion laughs "I dunno, par and partial for me I suppose, it is kinda neat too I suppose." Kuyl by this time had decided Surion's lap was more comfortable then his shoulder and the red dragon was in his lap now
"The grass is always greener, right?" She laughed lightly, reaching up with her free hand and wiping her bangs out of her face. Her tail absently curled into her lap, tip flicking lazily every now and then. "depends on each person's view I suppose" He moves a hand and runs it along Kuyl's spine before resting a hand on his knee "We each have things that are our strong points, weak points, and cool points" he nods
"What's your view then, if that's not prying too much?" She tilted her gaze upwards, bicolored eyes keen on him. It had been a while since she had met someone new she didn't feel overly awkward with, so she didn't want to kill the conversation just yet. "My view? Well the grass certainly can be greener, however every person plays an intigral part to a large puzzle, without everyone, and their uniqueness the puzzle is not complete" That probably sounded damned deep for the stylish male but, it was an opinion and view
There was a thoughtful pause as she turned her attention to a couple attending to eachother on a blanket several meters away. Tourma sighed and nodded, "Makes sense, but sometimes one can feel like they're a puzzle piece from a different puzzle altogether. A piece that some careless person threw in the wrong box, or lost under the proverbial couch." "Then ya have to find the right puzzle, we all belong somewhere..." he looks up at the sky thinking about what he had just said, he hadnt even found his OWN puzzle and here he was telling her this
"I guess we both are hoping that the fates will allow us to join and find that in life," she blinked before cracking a smile and shaking her head, "Well duh. Everyone wants to find happiness and all that jazz." Surion laughs and looks down from the clouds once more "Yeah, somehow I felt at one time I had that, that completed puzzle, oh well... I'll find it again some day"
"So the real question is, are you going to chase what used to be, or step forward into what could be?" She raised an eyebrow at him, "Because while it's okay to look back, dwelling can be dangerous." "Well at this point I"m not entirely sure, somehow probably step forward, but I'd like to at least know what was my past, so I can reflect on it, learn on it, know what I was then. But we can never go back and change things only create new" He pushes his long bangs out of his face
"Step forward so you can look back," she nodded slowly, "Just be careful. Sometimes things happen for a reason." After all, Tourma had a couple adopted family members with past lives, and they always ended up being in the center of a bunch of unnecessary drama. "Yeah, I understand what you are saying" He takes a deep breath for a moment "We can wish it didnt at times, but thats all"
"You mentioned that you dance, correct?" The Skullmonkey said suddenly, chewing on her lip before grinning. "Come dancing with me one night. Take a break from all the soul searching and past delving for a night." "Dance? yeah I've been told I can dance pretty decently" he chuckles "What kind of venue do you have in mind?" he looks with interest
"Depends on what you're up for," she chuckled, eyebrows waggling at him playfully, "I'm on good terms with most, if not all of the bouncers of the big clubs. Plus I sometimes go out to genre specific clubs. Salsa, Ballroom, etc." He raises a brow "I dont know fancy dancing by any real means, I just let the music flow through me and move with it"
"Don't worry, most people don't. I've just been dancing since as far as I can remember. Taking classes and everything." She patted his arm as if to say 'there, there poor kiddo'. Jokingly, of course. Surion laughs "long as you dont require perfection yeah, but give me a heads up what kind of place it would be, I'd hate to wind upshowing up at some club looking like a prep or something"
Her face fell in mock horror, "What do you mean you're not perfect?!" Smirking, she shook her head, "Do you have any preference? Because I wouldn't want to make you buy a new outfit for the night." Surion chuckles shaking his head "Well lets jsut say I cant see myself ballroom dancing to say the least" she was good company and definetaly made him laugh
"What?! I totally pegged you for a huuuge Dancing With The Stars fan!" Her hand dramatically went to her heart, "I don't think I can manage this travesty!" That was about what it took for Surion to disolve into laughter and flop backwards onto the sand much to his dragonettes' disapproval. He was laughing enough he couldnt even get words out to reply
His laughter caused her to dissolve into side splitters herself, and she pushed herself onto hands and knees just so she could slowly (and painfully) giggle her way over to his now laying form. "I can't... Believe... You!... This... Is... Serious... Business!" She lectured between breaths, wagging her finger at him reproachfully with one hand while the other held her up. Her 'lecture' only made the laughing worse, especially when he attempts to give her a solumn 'I'm in trouble now' pout but fails miserably
A few 'angry' pokes in his side were delivered as possible punishment, as she decided that physically abusing a dragonman any other way, laughter or not, would quite possibly be very dangerous. "Don't you try and pout your way out of this!" Tourma resumed once her laughter was under control, "-That- sort of charm doesn't work against me!" It took several minutes but eventually the male gets his breath under control and his laughter too "Oh but it's fun that way... So when and where do you have in mind?" he asks
"Hmm, how about Saturday night and do you prefer House, Hip-Hop, or whatever else... Music wise?" Tourma asked, still smilling as she sat back with her legs tucked underneath her, attempting to tame her hair back into a pony tail. Surion pushes to sit thinking about her question "Saturday sounds good, as for style, I'm not sure, probably something with a good beat and rythym to it"
Tourma nodded, "I just was curious because I can't pull off the dark and moody goth look, so I'd say go for wearing whatever you're comfortable in. Just know I tend to look overly bright and rainbow-esque." She figured she should warn him now, as she was currently only wearing a bathing suit. "I'll keep that in mind, do you know the bookstore downtown?" He asks as he prushes the sand out of his hair as he speaks
"You'll have to be more specific, I'm afraid. I haven't been bookshopping in forever." She looked at him curiously. Sur thought for a moment and then tried to describe the one Tinania had pointed out to him previous
"Nope, I have no clue," She finally replied, scratching her head. Surion laughs "Ok then you think of place we can meet to go to a club of sorts"
"Hmm, howabout the clinic? We both know where that is, I assume?" She tried to keep a straight face, but ended up chuckling. "Okay, the clinic it is" he laughs and nods "And yes I know where that is"
She stuck her tongue out at him, "So this Saturday I get to see if you can keep up with me old man? Sounds like a great night already." "Hey now I'm not that old!" He laughs "Sounds good then, Saturday lets say about... 6:30?"
A cheeky grin was her response, until he mentioned the time, and a confused look flickered onto her face. "That's a bit early for clubs, right? Or did you have another idea?" "Hey you got to remember, I dont live in this world, if theres a better time for that tell me" he laughs
"It's just clubs don't really start hoppin' till later. Plus I have work until 7. Howabout 10pm?" The grin was back once more. "Ten o'clock it is then, shall I let you get back to sunbathing until then?" he asks scooping up Kuyl from the sand as he spoke
She looked down at herself before nodding, "I might as well even out what I started. I'll see you Saturday then." "You bet" he stands up making sure he has everything that was his before heading out.
"Have a good day," she said right before he left. Then, as promised, she returned to her sunbathing.
