I can kill you where you stand if i wanted to so watch where you step little boy." spoke Yurei as his eyes pierced like swords, icy and cold like winter.

Akilus let his hood slip back just far enough to reveal his face, now taken with a wide grin.
"you still haven't told your little friends about me...child"
it seemed like something swirled under his robes, moving and pacing
"maybe i should show you then..."
he reached for something in his robes, it made a clinking noise on its way out
"well, while we've been wasting time with petty attitudes. your newest member there has given you away.
when i was sent to do this job, i was simply told my target was a female who used dragons and part of a certain group"
he pulled the item from his pocket, it was a chain with a number of rings dangling on it.
"like these former members" he said with a sick smile
"the way i figure it, a girl that young has to still be relatively new to a group like yours, still proud to show off her colors even when hiding her identity"
Akilus pointed to Kori's hand
"so Akatsuki, dragon, girl... lets get down to business shall we?"

His robes hit the floor and, face the world
"child... you were of the sand, am i right?"
the markings on Akilus' body began their movements. pacing, waiting for the order while their master pulled out his weapons.
"if you were fo the sand, i'm sure they taught about me. if not them, then i would certainly expect your new master to have"
for once, Koinonayami was silent and bounced off to hide.
Akilus put on the face of a madman and laughed a bit before taunting
""master Yurei" may i show your student how i came by these rings?"
even with the joy he found in this, he still thought to himself
"well, this SUCKS. so much for negotiations, now it looks like they WANT me to kill her"

Akilus noticed the creature
"tisk... i come for a visit, on originally peaceful terms for once, and i got the whole zoo hooting and growling"
Akilus had had enough of this bull, he slammed a kunai down hard onto the table.
"plain and simple, my people tend to kill your people. its my JOB, got it child?"
he stared at Kori
"i simply came here, to give you fare warning of what you were getting into with hopes of not having to take any more lives than i have to"
he paused for a minute, almost in disbelief of what he was about to say to what he would normally refer to as, "Akatsuki Scum"
"you can still turn around child. yes, you've found a place of power and a challenging... career.
but to these people, you're just another slave. when you die, none of them will miss you, you'll simply be replaced. i'm only taking interest because i haven't heard about you doing anything too terrible YET. you have nothing to redeem yourself for, you can simply walk away"
Akilus knew it was pointless, he'd had similar chats with other hot headed greens and this one would be just as stubborn.
he pulled his weapon out of the table and stowed it before throwing on a new cheap smile
"now was that so bad, did any of you really have to give an attitude?"
*chirp*
Koinonayami had noticed the change of tone and was eager to show his face again.
"so child, my name is Akilus Seraphim. should ring a bell, i AM considered a criminal"
Akilus shrugged
"but then, ya never know with you people"
he looked around for his robes for a short moment
"oh well, the town's going to be buzzing with this little introduction soon, no point in hiding anymore"
*chirp*
"i hear ya, lets find some REAL food"
Koinonayami hopped onto Akilus' shoulder as he calmly walked off

he stopped at the comment
"YOUR dream, you joined a group... a TEAM for selfish reasons. and even after/if they help you, what will you do then? continue being a slave?"
after that he continued off..
*chirp*
"Shut up Koinonayami! you know, you gained some weight today, i feel like i got a lead ball sitting on me. what are you going to do when you get as bg as your mom?"

"Well NOW what do we do, Pervy Sage?? OH! i bet you got a brand new jutsu to teach me for just an occasion right??" Kinzoku said

Akilus simply grinned
"i won't join your kind... i am above your kind. you rage at the world, i do my best to make it better"
he looked down, a burdening thought came back to him. suddenly, akilus was reminded of his old kazekage and how he had been betrayed.
the old anger that drove him to kill, all those years ago, was now flickering in the dark.
he cringed and snapped back to the light, as the screams of that night pounded through his head.
"and i will not destroy her. as distant as she is, there is still hope for the child"
Akilus pulled out a scroll of names, some crossed out and others still untouched.
then he looked back at kori
"well, i don't have much business right now. expect to see me around"
