[[I haven't watched all of season 0, I think. I like the manga better. Especially the beginning ones. I even liked the art style back then. I'm not sure when Seto should confront him- I need to think about it.

[[I'll post when I get home but I had to show you this. I never saw a picture of Yugi's mom except for in the manga. I went looking for a part in the manga and stumbled upon this: a picture of his mom from the anime. I lol'ed

[[Did the same thing- I couldn't buy anymore and figured "Well, Already seen them on tv, close enough. My friend has a lot of them, I should read them. Heh heh, or a mixture of Atem's father and Grandpa. I dunno about you, but I though Grandpa looked awesome in his younger days (via. him going to Egypt and getting the pieces of the puzzle). He looked like a blues brother lol.]]

Joey shook his head. "Not exactly like that. More like, we went on a date, had a good time, came back and he said he was ashamed to be around me, I went home, got drunk, and got beaten up. That's where we are now. Wow, this was confussing," he said realizing it sounded crazy but it's what happened. "Now, I don't remember what happened after that- but this is what I was told- and I'll tell ya how I was told. Kaiba apparently found me on the street- he probably chased off the kids beating me since my wounds aren't too bad. He brought me back to his house," he said as he paused. "He told me that this morning. I was freaked out I wasn't in my own house, but it seemed he took me in instead of leaving me out on the street, you know? I thought he cared, he wouldn't have gone out of his way to help me out if he didn't. So I tried to convince him to go out with me- for real this time, no stupid one day deals," he said. He then looked to his left and right- seeing nobody near him. Though he didn't think to look behind him- since he heard no footsteps directly behind him. "Please don't tell anybody else this. I'm really ashamed of it Mai. I only told Akiko- cause I had to see if this was ever happened to her or he tried to do this to her," he said as he leaned close to her to whisper. "He didn't want to hear it. So he told me what his intensions were from the beginning. He said he just wanted somebody easy. Seeing that I was drunk and extremely easy, he the oppritunity. Yea, he told me he..... well..... f***ed me." Joey looked away ashamed. He really hated the idea he was somebodies b***h- that he was used.

"I don't think it was just a 'maybe'," he said teasingly. He was just as bad as she was with teasing. And it was no secrete that he was confident- not cocky in a jerky way, but he was confident in a way that made others not feel intimidated. Unless it was intended to intimidate- as in an opponent. He teased like she did- playful and confident. He was calm and swav, and he meant to be because deep down he knew that was a reason Sam loved him. His lips connected to hers as he kissed her. He loved how outgoing and fearless Sam was as well. She was somebody who wouldn't back down no matter what. Somebody who was challenging, and to him that was fun. And even though he enjoyed fighting for dominance, he enjoyed also being romantic and even gentle with her. He just wanted to make her as happy as she made him. He ran his hand through her hair and the other caressed her face gently.

"Then he's gotta be a great guy if he's like you," she complimented him. It was a good sign and a bad sign at the same time. Good because there was no way that he abandoned his family if he was as his Grandfather described him. But it was also bad because, he may not even be here anymore. Alive that is. No! She couldn't think that, there had to be a logical explanation. She didn't want him to dwell on the subject anymore so she changed it, "And don't worry about picking me up in a car. I'll take a nice bike ride with you any day of the week!," she said remembering about the car conversation. She opened her door and immediatly was greeted by her dog barking playfully and running around her feet. "Yes yes I know I'm home. Who's the good girl? Who's the good girl?" she said coming down to pet her dog. However Spirit was distracted when she saw Yugi and ran up to him and circled around him, waiting for attention. "Fine, I see. Ignore the one who feeds you," she said poking her dog on her back.

[[I didn't know where to stop with Joey- I figured to get the story straight with Mai. Also, should Seto confront them while in the Mall when Joey keeps seeing stuff that reminds him of him? What was your idea for Kaiba confronting him anyway?]]

[[haha! Yes, that would scare the crap out of Joey too. It also reminds me of a song, it's by Hinder and I think the title is 'Deserve much better then me'. One part mentions how he doesn't want to forget the time he and his gf were in the dressing room. It's a sad song though. The video is even sadder. Should I do a small part with Akiko's mom or something? Or is it irrelivent {sp?}]]

Joey wrapped his arms around Mai. Even though he was angry at him, even though he was used with no remorse, Joey still felt as if to defend him. And it made no sense to him, why should he cover for him? "It wasn't all that bad Mai. I mean... I dunno," he said confusing his own self. By right he should never forgive him, and yet hearing Mai curse at him made Joey want to automatically defend Kaiba's name. He wasn't out to give him a bad name. Mai and Akiko will probably be the only two to ever hear the whole story. "Mai it's ok really. I'm ok now," he said so she wouldn't be so upset. He didn't want to upset anybody anymore. But he had to get it off his chest. She was about to go back and tear off his head when Joey grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him. "No Mai!" he said not wanting her to confront him, "just let it go." His attitude was so out of character. His head was no way screwed on right. Joey was lasoways up for standing up for himself. But he was broken. Not only the whole thing with Kaiba, but it all happened when he came out of the closet. When it rains it sure does pour.

Atem chuckled a bit to her response. He came back down to kiss her, taking up the offer to be the more dominant one. No matter how much he kissed her, he felt like it had taken him eons to come back to her. And although he liked the feeling, he hated the strange feeling of deja vu. Perhaps from yesterday? No, he got the feeling yesterday as well. Perhaps from his dreams, it's possible. "It feels like I've waited to be with you for lifetimes," he whispered in her ear. He wasn't sure if it was a valid feeling, if it was just an exaggeration. But he knew what he was feeling and he couldn't shake that feeling. Even the day he met Sam, while still in Yugi's body, he felt like he had known her for a long time. He just had to tell her how he felt.

Akiko grabbed onto Spirit's collar to pull her back. "Are you ok Yugi!?" she said a bit worried. Though she should be used to this, she still asked him it everytime. "Get outta here you tank of a dog!" she said shooing her dog. Spirit ran off and grabbed a chew toy shaped as a fire hydrant from her various toys. She walked back and placed it near Yugi as a way of saying sorry. She then placed her head on his leg and wagged her tail. "No, he doesn't want your slobbery toy Spirit," Akiko said laughing. She lowered her hand to Yugi to help him up off the ground.

[[The Exodia Shoop da Woop scared the piss out of me in the new abridged episode O_o.

I think Atem should be a gentle man and buy Sam a puppy. That would go over fantastic with Seto XD ]]

[[hahaha, the cake is a lie b***h! lol reference to Portal. I still like how Seto rick rolled Joey. And the zelda music when he got the duel disk. But my favorite episode was Marik's evil council. Too mny funny jokes.]]

Joey paused for a long time- unsure himself if he liked Kaiba still or not. But he really hated him now because of what he did, there was no way that hatred would pass. But there was still something. "I still like the Kaiba I knew when we were out on our date. But I don't think he'll ever be around again. Other then that, then no- I guess not," he said with the last part sounding rather dark. He replayed what he had just said in his mind. Saying he didn't like Kaiba anymore sounded abstract to him. He was just so hurt by him that he couldn't say he still liked him. He could only like the memories he had with him- the good ones. "But it doesn't really matter if I like him or not. Because he doesn't like or want to be with me. It just doesn't matter," he said.

Atem chuckled at her nipps. Her lips were very soft, when she kissed it felt terrific. He looked at her and smiled from her question, "It was worth every second. Because finally my dreams became my reality. I'd wait forever to be with you," he said as he moved a stran of hair from her face behand her ear then added, "but I much prefer to have you now in this time." He took her hand and raised it to his face- nuzzling it. He then placed a kiss on her hand, in a romantic type of way.

Akiko laughed a bit, "She just really likes you and gets too excited. Right girl?" Spirit chased the toy half way then stopped to chase her tail a bit. "She's not the sharpest tool in the shed....." she said sweetdropping.

Akiko's mother came into the living room to see her daughter and her friend Yugi. "Hello Akiko, hello Yugi. It's good to see you," she said in a cheery voice. She was a kind but outgoing woman- motherly but fun. She stood there and look at the two for a second. A grin shifted on to her face as she put her hand on her hip, "So, there daughter of mine, tell me." She paused, almost trying not to laugh. She could tell right off the bat that something was going on with her and Yugi. Out of all her friends, she stuck to him like glue. She thought they would be good with each other.

"Hey ma," she said. She tilted her head- confused at what her mother was getting at. "Wha?" she said.

"Are you two dating?" she said with a smile.

"How do you know these things?!" Akiko said surprised she guessed so quickly.

"I'm your mother, I know these things. Anyway, I was right. So now I have to go and collect $5 from your dad- I won the bet," she said laughing.

"What!? You bet on me!? How can you bet on your own daughter!?" she said playfully. "Some people, I tell you," she said in a fake pout.

[[I'll just do a small part since it was mentioned. Oh no, seems Akiko is like her mom kinda. Betting on her sounds like something my mother would do @_o]]

[[Oh man- I didn't realize you were on that day (of from school) I stayed on, thinking everyone was at school and pm'ed a friend of mine back and forth. I'ma dumby. Anyway, Super Smash Brothers Brawl is almost out! I'm so excited!]]

Atem smiled, though he believed she would never leave him- he liked actually hearing it. "And I will never leave you. I want you to be mine till the end," he replied. She was his know, he couldn't imagine giving her up or losing her. And though it seemed to him she didn't understand his deja vu- he was ok with it. It urked him, but not in a bad way. He pulled away gently from Sam to get out of the car. After locking his side, he went to her side of the car and opened the door for her. He liked the role of being a gentle man, and it actually fit him quite well. He used his free hand to offer his hand to help her out of the car. "Is there any store you want to go to first?" he asked her.

Joey smiled, Mai was doing her best to make him feel better. And it was working. "Yea, I know I will. It will just be hard you know? I'm all new to this gay thing. I don't know even where to look. Sigh, I guess straight people have it easier," he said ending with a joke. He didn't know anything about the gay community, nor where to find them. It wasn't as simple as somebody who is straight, Joey couldn't just go up to any man he thought he was cute. Because more then likely, that guy will be straight. But he should be able to adapt to it pretty well, because afterall- Joey was outgoing. "No way I'm going out with some fruity girly type guy though," he said in a joke.

"Well, I'll leave you two alone. Good to see you again Yugi," she said with a warm smile.

"We're just stopping by to grab my cards and we're going back to his house," Akiko told her mom.

"Oh? Alright then. You need to have dinner with us one night ok?" she said to Yugi. "Have fun you two," she said her good byes as she left the room.

"Later," she said waving her mom off. She started walking to her room, holding Yugi's hand to lead him. Nobody has really seen her room before because they mainly hung out in the living room. She opened her door and entered. "Now to find where I put them," she said walking over to her cabinent. Her room was reletivily clean, other then scattered video game covers near her TV and a group of book stacked near her corner- they were all medical related. She had a basket of stuff animals near her bed. She also had a computer in her room, on her desk were some nick nacks- some where Egyptian themed, Greece themed, or Native American themed. There were even a fox and wolf nick nack on the shelves of her desk. Near her door was a guitar on it's stand- she usually put it away when anybody came over but left it out last. Akiko grabbed a box and sat on the ground. "I think this is it," she said as she opened it.

Atem held her hand and walked with her towards the mall. He smirked a bit and said, "I see the tournament is still on your mind." He chuckled a bit, because truth was so was he. They entered in the mall and he lead her to the card shop he liked the most. "Care to tell me what cards you have in mind for your deck?" he joked with a chuckle. He didn't expect her or anybody to tell one another about their decks- the less your opponent knows about your deck, the better. Before they reached the card shop, they passed a small pet store. Atem would think nothing of it, but he saw Sam taking a look at the animals throught the window.

Joey couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Just have to sneek in and pretend I'm 21- shouldn't be too hard." He wasn't very flamboyant at all, nor was he super buff macho-like like some other gay men. Joey was the type that other's couldn't tell he was gay. He was just an average Joe. And that's the type of man he wanted, no stereotypical gay, but someone average and sexy. And strong, just like Kaiba was. Wait, was he thinking about Kaiba? Afterall that happened? He shook his head a bit to make the thoughts go away. He then laughed out loud when Mai mentioned about swing his hips better then her. "Oh but Mai- you know I would look just fabulous in those shoes!" he said pointing at the ugliest shoe in some show store. There was no way Joey would make a better girl then Mai- Joey had no sense of fashion. Nor did he care about shoes and hair- well to a normal extent that a guy does is how much he cared.

Akiko blinked at the kiss but easily eased into the kiss. Yes he caught her off guard, but she wasn't complaining. When he pulled away she smiled and said, "Aww, that's cute." She leaned over to kiss him again. When she pulled away she said, "Your right, haven't done that in a while." She looked around her room, noticing it did have a lot of stuff in it, "You think so? I do like my room a lot, but I like your too. And you have room for board games in your room- I don't." She snuggled close to him and put the box on her lap. "Yup, this has a lot of my cards as well as my deck," she said picking up a bigger then usual deck, "this is the last deck I used. I wanted to cut back on some cards.... but I can't find the heart to take them out. I really like too many." She nuzzled her head against Yugi's shoulder, she couldn't help but like doing that a lot.

[[Aw, are you feeling better? I hope so. Was it the flu? The flu is going around like crazy this year! My b/f was sick this past week- had to finall go to the doc to get medicine (real medicine instead of those stupid supressors that are over the counter).]]

Atem looked at the store and then back at Sam. "Sure, no problem," he said with no hesitation. He saw her brightened up eyes looking at the store. He never knew that Sam was interested in pets- main;y because she didn't have any at the mansion. Since they could buy anything, a pet should be no trouble. "I didn't know you were into pets. What's your favorite?" he said to her. They walked into the store and Atem looked around with his eyes while holding her hand. It smelt kind of funny- but how a usual pet store smelt. Out of all the animals in there, he liked cats the most. Probably because of his Egyptian past, but he just seemed to like cats. However, he never had one as a pet during this time. He looked from the cats to Sam to what she was looking at, back at the cats and repeated.

Joey noticed right away all the Kaiba Corp advertisements. Great, now he has to see Kaiba and his stupid face plastered everywhere, he thought immaturily. He couldn't stand being surrounded by him, it was like some abstract way to mock him- showing that Kaiba was better then him or something. And yet, through all the anger, he also felt empty and alone. He missed the man that he dated that day, who wore the same face as Kaiba. He was knocked out of his thoughts when Mai dragged him into a clothing store. "Ah Mai! I don't wanna clothes shop!" he whined in a comical way. He looked around and noticed this was a fashionable shop. "I can't afford these Mai, let's try another shop," he said though the whole mall would probably be like this.

Akiko blinked and looked over at the guitar. "Yea, I do play," she said calmly. Normally, she would try to come up with some fake story- disproving she played. But she found herself unafriad to share things with Yugi. She really haven't shown or told anybody because it was something that reminded her of her friends back in the states. It reminded her of the past. Plus, she felt comfortable playing for her old friends and was a bit shy to play around her new friends. Singing too, she could sing and nobody knew. "I really need to buckle down and take some cards out. I think I put too many trap cards in there- I love traps," she said. She laid down putting her head in his lap and looked up at him. She smiled playfully.
