It's not that I don't think you can't handle yourself alright; you also provide a distraction. Two of them, actually... Gatz thought, willing himself focus on the enemy in front of him--and to not turn around and oggle the catgirl for all he was worth.

The internal battle for his attention was probably going to be more difficult for him than the actual fight...

idea That also reminds me of an entirely unrelated tale from RL, when I was talking about the possiblity of creating manga with a friend of mine. sweatdrop A story which I shall not relate at this very moment, as the last few jokes would make it sound like two guys talking about an entirely different type of "sword", which would just be wrong. xp ))

((I think the arena is in the crater of what is [currently] a dormant volcano. After a volcano has blown it's top and becomes dormant, either said top is gone or the cone eventually colapses in on itself. In either case, what's left is a large, bowl-shaped area of rock.

O_o... Ash? sweatdrop Umm, Scorpio... it's supposed to be a metal umbrella. Gatz calls it the 'Titanium Umbrella', because it's fairly indestructible; due to both it's construction and that it's heavily laced with Gatz's chi, as he almost always has it with him. There was no weapon slot in the profiles, so I wound up leaving it out. But if you look back at the old posts in this thread, you can see what I mean.

Refer to pages 16-18 [Gatz vs. Quint] and pages 21-24 [Gatz vs. Logan] of the thread, particularly Page 24, as this isn't the first time fire has been used against Gatz in a fight.

I was basically going to use the umbrella throw the fire back at Leo... but since he dodges and Gatz is aiming down [at an angle], I guess the explosion just blows up behind/beside him, or something. Not sure that'll effect a fire-based character anyways, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

... Since it's appearent the "Titanium Umbrella" is no longer a given, I guess I better add it to my profile...))

(( The arena is built inside the volcano, with structural supports keeping the rock and dirt from collapsing in on itself, so it's still a hollowed out tip ^^ ))

Gatz rushed forward to get away from the blaze, his left hand held high and in front of him so as to smash his opponent's nose into his brain when he connected. Something stirred in the dust cloud left behind Leo as the the island's security head charge. From the side of the action, one could see a silvery flash from the object exiting the dust cloud. It was the metal umbrella torpedoing through the air--right for the back of Leo's head. The umbrella slightly ahead of Gatz's palm, the two attacks raced forward to cover the last foot and a half before they smashed into the head of Scorpio's brother.

Meanwhile...

A small Chibi-Gatz poof into existance on Scorpio's shoulder.

"Haven't seen her, but my girl-sense is telling me she has turtuoise hair, matching eyes, stands about 5' 6", and is either a 34' B cup. Gotta fight now, talk later."

Chibi-Gatz poofed away, then poofed back a second later. He had forgot something.

"--Oh, and when I fight, I try to enjoy it. So if you interfer before I'm finished, I will just kill you both heart ," the clone said with a smile.

Gatz's projection poofed out of existance again, and did not reappear...
