Kari stopped abruptly, that wasn't going to work, revenge never yields satisfaction. Slowly and unwillingly, she replaced the heat with a soothing coolness, hoping that it would work.

Sicko looked at Nightmare,angry that he was being treated like this,"Yea,alright.I'll take this thing just don't be callin' me a servant or anything,we're partners.Got it?" he said.He looked at the fragment and began to reach for it.

Nightmare took the fragment and shoved it into his chest. "Deal." He whispered into his ear. The fragment then began sprouting roots, moving deep into Sicko's body, changing him. Making him more powerful.

Siegfried tried to look around the ruins for some sort of clue. Then finally, he found something. It was a page apparently missing from his book. He picked it up, telling the history of the entitiy. The creature was in fact a sword that had been used in countless battles since ancient times.

Zeal came up behind Siegfried and looked at the page. She quickly skimed it and then walked around him.

"Whoa!What the?!I feel much stronger,almost...INVINCIBLE!!!!" Sicko shouted happily.
Brad felt the increase in power through the mental link he and his brother shared,a scary increase.He had to stop Sicko,no matter what.

NO! Kari gripped her head, the curse was starting to take over, NO! Not again, not ever! She closed her eyes, trying to make the pull go away, wait, Kari thought, why is the curse affecting me now? There is no one who needs help that I am very close to, or I would have sensed it by now.

Sicko felt the power surge through him,it made him feel happy,invincible,amazingly he felt no pain from the shard,"So..." he said to Nightmare,"When do we start?And,can we kill my brother first?He and his friends will get in our way."

Nightmare looked at his new partner. "Remember, that shard is the source of your power. Anger me," He said, pointing his finger at Sicko "And it's gone.." He then looked away to the door. "First, I need the souls of the living. You need to remove the souls from their bodies." He said, giving a small smile.
Siegfried came down from the organ, and looked at Zeal. "I found this page, and a small fragment of the entity. There was a note saying where we should head next. You find anything?" He asked her.
