Meh, I don't care if someone else takes the test for Godfrey.
And Ty, I try really hard to NOT bring anything from that thread into here, I keep them as seperate as possible, but it's hard for me to basically split Godfrey in half and have two of him.
In fact most of the time he stays at the burrow, and in the guild he doesn't in fact go off and do shiz with the others.
And you know... you guys have school and work and stuff... but I am seriously IRL a socially deficient recluse. I don't go places, I don't have IRL friends... I don't even like going outside most of the time, makes me nervous. So I have plenty of free time... and one night a week where I may or may not get to roleplay with my one character is not enough.
I mean... I read crappy fanfictions just because it's something to do.... I hang out there even though Suffix is unable to write properly because of a learning disability... I don't really care that werewolves don't follow the full moons or there are deficiencies in how they act... I hang out there because It's something to do and I like them even though everything isn't as perfect as it is in here.
And you've got to admit the Harry Potter forum has gone to crap, so there's not much of anything to do in there... and well... I'm just not going to restrict Godfrey to this guild is all.
And just.... I dunno.
That Universal test isn't really fair, especially that one section. O_O I mean... it has you tally in one spot how many characters yours has fallen in love with.... and Godfrey loved tons of people when he was still 12.... but a lot of that is weird because it's not a fanfiction, I'm not the one doing all of those things... like... Godfrey didn't convert Voldemort... Mike made him that way, you know? It's just kinda weird on that front.

Heh, I've got nineteen characters. I haven't posted for half of them in character.
Cassy, feel free to poke me if you ever want to RP. I've got a million characters that could easily come poke at Godfrey if you'd like and I only have one job that I work at like...ten hours a week on average right now. ^^

Cassy, I'm an insomniac due to medication I'm on. I don't have any friends besides Michelle, and I'm not exactly attractive so I don't count on getting a significant other any time soon that will take up my time. I'm addicted to the computer and don't go outside because I'm too busy being on it, and I'm stuck with parents who either ignore me or physically or verbally abuse me, so I tend to stay in my room on my computer.
I know dependence on a character. It's sad that sometimes I confuse what happens in a roleplay in real life. Some of my conversations with my parents are freakin' about the roleplay, anyway.
And yet, I am content with sitting back and watching everyone else do their thing, because I believe it'd be rude to intrude on the plot too much.
Spica doesn't develop much besides in my brain. I draw her all the time or I dream up random plots. I usually only roleplay with her with one of my friends; Kate.
It's not hard to separate the two. There's nothing wrong with dreaming up something that could have happened while Godfrey wasn't being noticed in the Burrow-- I mean, honestly, I made Spica be locked in her room reading her textbooks. You can just come up with something Godfrey did-- or if you like what happened to him in the C/A/A thread, then try and manipulate it where that could have happened to him at the Burrow.
But honestly, when he's in the Burrow, probably for his own safety, I really don't think it'd be smart for him to be go hanging out with Death Eaters-- boyfriend of Voldemort or not.
The Universal Mary-Sue test is completely fair. Just read the rules and see which sections apply to your character.
...And on Mike's profile, it says something like, "I've grown soft. It's Godfrey's fault."
Edit: I re-read this and realized I was sounding more like a b***h than I meant to. I really, really, really don't want you to dislike me, Cassy, and I'm trying my hardest to just help. An' you can have Godfrey hang out with Spica any time you'd like. xP

I took that HPRPG.NET Test and got 18. confused
So I think I'll just post what I said yes or no to and my reasonings for it. I'll delete it if it's too long and people object to it or whatever.
1. Was your character named after you, in any form? Did you use your middle name? Your first name only? Did you alter the spelling slightly? Did you create a name that wasn't yours but resembled it? Is it a name you use online or a variation of such? [10]
No. Actually the person who played Gilderoy thought up the name in like two minutes and I liked it right away.
2. Does your character possess a name that you wish you had?[1]
No.
3. Is your character's name a basic name with a bizarre spelling?[1]
No. 4. Did you spend more than one day coming up with the name? (This isn't always bad, but think of WHY you spent the time - if you did - coming up with the name.) [1]
No.
5. Is your character's full name shared with another character in another fantasy story? (Did you consciously name your character after another fantasy character you had read about in stories like 'The Wheel of Time,' 'Lord of the Rings,' Terry Brooks novels, or any other fantasy/sci-fi/etc book? Come on now, answer honestly!) [5]
No. 6. Does your character have a nickname that you picked out and told everyone to call you? Is that name because of your animagus form? [2]
No, Godfrey doesn't have a nickname.
So that's 0/20
.................
1. Is your character the same gender as you? [1]
No 2. Is your character of the same racial background? [1]
Uh. No? He's completely british..... while I'm like... a mix with no british at all. Is your character a hybrid of species? (werewolf, veela, vampire, etc) [3]
YES! +3 points. D:
3. Does your character not have limitations of said species placed on them? (Example: They don't change into a werewolf every full moon, they don't need to eat blood to survive, etc. Basically - are you playing your species without it's limitations?) [4]
He's only like... 1/6 incubus.... it effected his magic so he can't use it normally (Even with a staff he would be prone to setting things on fire instead of actually using the spell a lot of the time at first, until years later when he's able to control it mostly... even when he's grown he sometimes sets things on fire) Uh... he wouldn't totally need to sex in order to live... but he will get sick without the physical contact. So he does have limitations. So No.
On the same hand, are you playing the disadvantages of the species without the advantages? Vampires may have to live off blood, but an advantage is - they are immortal and eternally young. Except for that whole cross/stake thing. [4]
Godfrey will live a bit longer than normal wizards... even without doing something to stay immortal with Voldemort much later in his life. so No.
4. Does your character look older than they should? How many 11 year olds are actually 5'9"? [3]
No, he looks fourteen. 5. Is your character stunningly beautiful or roguishly handsome? [1]
Stunningly? No. He's just... a normally cute kid. I mean... just because you're not ugly doesn't mean you're stunningly beautiful or roguishly handsome.
6. Does your character have an unusual eye color for no apparent reason? [3]
No. He has blue eyes like his father.
Will this be a plot point for your character at a later time? [1]
No. 7. Does your character have really nice hair (Or any other physical feature) that you take a liking to describing frequently? [1]
He has nice hair but I don't make him go on and on about it. In fact I haven't even mentioned it in a while... he doesn't mention it really unless he's joking or like... 'Don't you know who I am? I'm a Lockhart! *hair cascades*' and that's totally joking. So No.
8. Does your character have a scar or strange marking? [2]
No.
Is it visible to everyone? [1]
No. 9. Is your character deaf/mute/blind/etc? [1]
No.
Is your character going to be cured of these ills? [3]
No. 10. Is your character physically disabled (and 'she's so pretty it's painful' does NOT count)? [-2] No Will the physical disability be cured? [1] No 11. Is the character mentally disabled? (read: at the functional level of Forrest Gump or below)[-2] No Does the character have any telekinetic, telepathic, or other psychic powers despite / because of this disability?[3] No 12. Is the character overweight? (not just "I ate too many Snackwells and now my thighs are HUGE, but honestly overweight)[-2] No Is your character going to resolve the weight issues? [4] No
So 3/40.
..............
1. Is the character the long-lost child or descendent or sibling of a regular or recurring character?[1]
He's not a 'long-lost child' (And I'm not sure about this one because it only applies to the HPRPG.NET which doesn't allow a character to be related to a canon one... but I'll answer yes anyways.)
So +1 2. Was the character adopted or did he/she otherwise live with people who were not his/her parents as a child?[1] No 3. Is the character a relative of a hitherto unknown dark power or force for good that we have no read about in the books?[1] No And is the last surviving relative?[1] No 4. Add points for each aspect seen somewhere during your character's life: - abandoned by caregivers[1] - born or forced into slavery[1] - born or raised in extreme poverty[1] - sole survivor of a calamity[2] - physical abuse[2] - sexual abuse by a caregiver[3] - rape[3] - member of a "despised" class or race[1, 2 if it is a plot point of the "I can make a contribution even though I'm ... " variety] - illegitimate birth[2] - later parent of illegitimate child[1 pt each] - any other life experience inspired by fantasy/sci-fi writers, especially JK Rowling[3]
Um... None of those apply. Maybe the illigitimate one? Though Harry and Gilderoy were married.... well +2 then. 5. Does the character suffer from guilt about something terrible that s/he did in the past?[1]
Yes. For using the whip and hurting Teddy. Do you hope other characters will eventually convince her/him that it was not his/her fault?[1]
No. Ted already said it was no big deal... he still feels bad/guilty.. but he moved past that and is trying to learn to control it instead.
6. Does the character share your religious beliefs?[1]
Uh. No.
7. Did the character have an unusual birth or unusual experience in early infancy? (i.e. abducted, placed in a basket and set afloat, visited by Three Weirdos, etc.)[1]
YES. His birth was wonky. +1
8. Does the character have a twin, a clone, or a sibling of the same gender?[2]
Adela is not of his gender... and she isn't a clone. I don't know if they mean 'twin of a same gender, clone of a same gender, and sibling of same gender' or just Twin (of any gender) clone (of any gender) and then Sibling of the same Gender.
I'll add 2 just in case. +2 About whom you plan on having as an NPC or second character for a plot at a later date?[2] No. ADela isn't mine, of course.
9. Does the character have a very good singing voice?[2] He likes to sing but I've never mentioned that he has a very good singing voice or not. O_O So no. Or play a musical instrument amazingly well?[1] No. doesn't play any instrument. The guitar or flute, for instance?[2] No.
10. Does the character have better taste in music than you do?[1] (For example, does your character own cd's that you think educated people ought to own, even though you've never actually listened to the music yourself?)
Godfrey doesn't own CD's... or really gives any thought to music.
11. Does the character do what you do for fun or profit?[1] (This includes having the same job you have, or would like to have when you're older, or having a job that sounds like a lot of fun even though you know nothing about it.)
Uh. No.
12. Is the character royalty of any type?[3] No That she/he does not originally know about?[3] No 13. Does the character make more wisecracks or pull more pranks than Fred & George Weasley?[1] No Because Fred/George is your favorite character?[1]No 14. Do you hope that everyone will end up liking your character so you won't have any enemies?[1]Nooooo. Godfrey likes enemies.
So 6/50.
...........
1. Is your characters entire personality based on a special ability? ( cool
Godfrey's entire personailty is NOT based on his fire abilities. I developed his background and the reason for the abilities later... but his personality is not based on that at all.
2. Does the character have magical/mutant powers in any form?[2]
Yes. Though I could argue that it doesn't count since he can't do regular magic. But... whatever. +2
3. Does the character have telekinesis or telepathy? (Twins count.)[2] No.
4. Does the character just "know things" for no apparent reason?[2] No 5. Can the character fly a broom like a profession Quidditch player?[1]No. Godfrey's never been on a broom. And is on the House Quidditch team as one of their star players?[2]No. Doesn't go to hogwarts.
6. Can the character heal with a touch and/or thought?[1]No
7. Do animals (especially fuzzy ones) instinctively like the character?[2]Noooo. Not the fuzzy ones at all. in fact I get to minus 2 because the creepy animals like him. I would also like to point out that none of the pets were my fault. Cept the ducks a bit. Evil ducks with razor sharp teeth.... Lovegood transformed the carpet... Suffix gave Godfrey a man-eating pillow... and yeah. so -2 (Subtract two points if the only animals that like the character are non-butterfly insects and crawly lizard-types.)
So that would be 2/20 but I minus for the no cute fluffy animals so that's 0/20.
.......
Does your character fall in love/flirt with/is infactuated with one of the canon characters?[2]
Yes. +2 Because you are in love/infactuated with that same canon characters?[2] No. Godfrey loves Voldemort because he does. It has nothing to do with me. Voldemort was just perfect for godfrey, is all. Does your character have a relationship on the board even though they are only a first or second year? [2] No. Does your character have a mature relationship with another character even though they are only a third or fourth year? [2] Yes +2 Do you plan on having your character be in a serious relationship at some point during their time at Hogwarts?[1] He already is. +1 Will it be prior to their 5th year? [2] Yep. +2 Is your character engaged?[2] No. Will your character be married before they graduate Hogwarts?[1] Uh... I'd have to ask Mike about that, but I'd have to say yes? +1
so 8/15
............
1. Would you like to be friends with your character if you met in real life?[1] Yes. +1 2. Do you think everyone who roleplays with you and/or reads some of your posts should automatically like your character and want to be friends with the character?[1] Dude, absolutely no. 3. If someone tells you he/she doesn't like your character, do you take it as a personal attack on you?[5] Noooo. Not at all. 4. Do you ever pretend, just to yourself, that you are the character, with the same strengths and abilities?[3] *blinks* No. That's weird. 5. If someone calls your character a Mary Sue, do you immediately get offended and assume they're jealous of you?[5] Psh. No.
So 1/15.
In total then that's 18/160.
O_O Does that make more sense now that I've written it out?
EDIT:
@Janine: You didn't sound like a biotch. xp
And I'll try to bring Godfrey back to more like he was in here.... it is easier for you Ty, because that Remus and the Remus in here are like, completely different people... their relationships really seperate them... but Godfrey is mostly the same person no matter where he is.
You do have to admit though the mood around places has been pretty serious/sad... which hasn't left much room for being hyper/happy/running around/ and stuff. O_O
As for Voldemort and Mike... I didn't MAKE him make Voldemort like that... he chose to make Voldemort like that, so does that even count? I dunno.

xD I just manipulate my characters to pull a little God or whatever. ...I mean, Quill amuses me to no end. 1-eighth house-elf? What the hell?
Edit:
Actually, Cassy, an incubus is cold. They're defined by their cold genitalia, according to the research I did for you. x_x A Leccubbi, on the other hand, isn't-- but they suck souls.
I don't remember what I answered to what, but here are the scores;
0/20 12/40 2/50 10/20 6/15 10/15
If you'd seen me in study hall, I literally went "NO!" and retook the test nearly three times. I was trying my hardest to get the score down, but... I couldn't.

I dunno. What I read/thought I knew about inccubi is wrong, I guess.
I was really just trying to find a way to explain why he was limited and couldn't do normal magic. And it made sense to me that if he could use fire... that he'd be warmer than normal.... and everything sort of followed that. O_O
I used wikipedia and... well yeah.
O_O That 10/15 on the last one troubles me, because I don't want to come across as someone like that. I don't think everyone should automatically like my character or want to be friends with them. I don't take it as a personal attack if someone doesn't like my character... I do NOT ever pretend to be Godfrey off of the computer. O_O That would be really weird. And I don't think people are jealous of me if they call Godfrey a Mary-sue.
