Well. I never thought I'd see the day, let alone anyone else in the guild. I have returned in some way, shape, or form. To those that I've RPed with, I'm glad to be rejoining the ranks (....for the fifth time....), and to those that I do not know yet, I look forward to RPing with everyone and seeing where everything has gone in my lengthy, yet not lengthy, absence.
And now....on to the show.....

If yer talkin about life...it's been nothing but work and getting the rejection letter from the band I was looking to join. Oh well. Such as it goes. As for the RP, I'm not sure....totally not sure.

Hey, does anyone here play the pen-and=paper version of Hunter: The Reckoning?
I've recently joined a campaign. Unfortunately for my character, he (and the other Hunter) were recently attack by a group of armed thugs. My friend took out a couple of zombies, and a guy with a gun. At long range.
I was attacked by thug with a bat, and two guys armed with crowbars. Of course, I'm not at "Mauled" status (-2 to all rolls) thanks to the crowbar guys, but you should see what they look like. One of them has a crushed trachea, and the other two were beaten to within an inch of their lives.
The guy with the crushed trachea was felled while I was at -2 to everything. Thank god for Cleave. Karate chop to throat, he's left barely alive.

Hey everyone. On two quick notes, welcome back Reaver! I'm truly excited to get to RP with you again. And goodbye Jack. Hopefully not forever.
On to other stuff. I'm deeply sorry I haven't been RPing recently, but I've been having trouble keeping up. My day's have been pretty packed (Getting used to high school, basketball, historical reenactment) So I'll try to get back to posting soon. I will be gone through Sunday though, so don't expect any posting. Hopefully someone will me able to fill me in on what happened when I get back. Thank you.

Serk Is it covered by medical insurance? surprised Beats me. Either way, my character now needs to be in a hospital, or it'll take forever for him to heal. Unless he recieves some sort of magical healing, but I doubt they'll encounter anyone with magic anytime soon. Of course, my character can still kick some serious a** even with the -2. His attack is a DEX/Brawl level roll (I roll a number of dice equal to my DEX plus my Brawl level). Since it stuff like that works differently for the Hunter rules, I normally roll 7 dice. With the minus 2, I only roll five, but that's still very good for a first level character (the difficulty for hitting someone with a punch is 6, meaning that I have to roll a 6 or higher to succeed).

No, I've never played any other tabletop RPG other than D&D. And it's been years since I've done just that. The only thing tabletop game-wise I play is Magic: The Gathering.
On that note, if any of you play said card game, have you seen the new set that was released last Friday? It's awesome. Think the Invasion set from 1999 multiplied by ten to signify the power that are in these cards. The only thing I can say is I honestly pity anyone that faces my black/blue Milling deck.
And, thank you, LordOfTheMonkeys. It's good be back....'home' as it may be.

You mean Ravinca? I've seen a few cards, but that's about it. One of my friends in the gaming club got a booster box today, so I can ask him about it.
If they weren't $100+, I'd get one myself. Unfotunately, it's also not how I build my decks. I play what's called "budget decks". I spend as little money as possible on my cards, and get what I want through creative trading.
