"tait..." he could tell that he was serious. walking over, he sat down on the ground next to him and put his arm around him. "i don't like you..." he could feel his cheeks burning. "i.. um.. i love you...." he looked up at the ceiling, and continued quickly, "and i mean it, and those kinds of feelings don't go away from some stupid thing in the past. what matters is now, what's happening right now. what matters is you, not what you may or may not have done." he squeezed him tight, and whispered, "will you tell me your story, tait? can you trust me...?" his heart was pounding. exploding.

Trying to not look up, Tait shuddered. "NO!" He yelled. "You'll leave! I don't have a present....Not any more.....I'm never going to....Never..."

"I DIDN'T KILL HER!" He yelled, looking up, terrified. "She saved me!" Sobbing, he looked away...."I should have been the one to die....Not her!" Gripping his knees, he hissed darkly "I should just die."

"No! I was stupid! I didn't see the train! And..." Putting his hands through his hair, he gave a heart-wrenching sob. "My family finally disowned me....I came here because I didn't have anywhere to go to..."

Looking back at Aki, Tait said with a scowl "My brother's been tracking me down for over a year now....When he finds me, I wanna to be in plain sight..." Then he tried to get up, but stumbled, nearly toppled over onto Aki, and decided he might just stay where he is.....In Aki's lap......Still kind of red, he sighed in embarrassment, once again, kind of resembling a cat. After a few moments of deep thought, he figured he could trust Aki...Even if he made his heart do this really weird flippy thing. Resting his head against his chest, he closed his tired eyes. "He'll probably find me soon......When he does....I don't want anyone else to be around. He only wants me." He whispered, rubbing his eyes. Mumbling, he leaned his body against Aki, almost asleep at this point. "He was there when she.....When she..." Yawning, he put his hand on his chest, twisting his fingers up in Aki's clothes before laying still.
"Thank you...."

It was really warm......But he was so cold....
It had been a day just like this......except sunny, and.....And happy at the time. His brother and him always went on walks with her, and they usually went along the train tracks. The tracks weren't supposed to be in use anymore....So when the train came around the corner.....Tait was still on the track. His mother had grabbed him, and thrown him to the ground. The air pressure of the train as it went by.....sucked her in. His brother, always too scared to do anything but walk in the grass had seen in all, her blood hit his face. Tait was covered in it. He didn't know what had happened. One minute she was there, laughing and smiling with him. The next....The train had carried her off. He could still see her face sometimes. She was a woman who always smiled. The crystallized rose was a gift she had gotten him, for his birthday the day before. When he looked at it, all it was was a bloody rose, caught inside a panel of ice....

The small innocent looking, blood-covered boy stared wide eyed, taking a step back. Opening his mouth, no words came out as he shook his head.

"...M....Mom?"

His younger brother stumbled towards the tracks, though he was terrified. The smaller of the two, who wasn't covered in blood, ran, falling into the tracks. Straight into a puddle of blood. Gasping, his eyes grew wide....Crazy.....
The scream shook the entire being of the older brother, and he fell backwards, landing on his butt hard. A large sob escaped his lips, almost choking him. He shook all over, blood trailing down his face. More sobs of terror followed.....He was unable to think...To breath.....Unable to move. At that moment, his heart seemed to crush itself. Yet he was so clueless to what had just happened....As his brother wailed, screaming, yelling for help, he sat there....So confused.
"W-AAUGK!" Waking with a snap, Tait stared wide eyed. He couldn't see anything, it was so dark outside. Trying to get up, he fell over something, and onto something. It was warm,, and he was kind of freaked that he didn't know what it was exactly, and even more freaked that he didn't know WHERE he was. Was he in his dorm? Was he-No, no, he wasn't outside. Or he would have felt the wind.

As a hand grabbed his, he stiffened...."Aki...?" He breathed. Suddenly all the memories flooded back. "No...It's nothing." He said quietly, looked down, even though it was so dark, he couldn't even see himself, and knew Aki couldn't see his horrified expression. "Nothing..."
