Ryu smiles "it has been years since I'd seen him. When the letter came stating he was coming I was glad, I'd half wondered if he'd passed on some years ago." He stands and gestures for her to follow him out to the garden.

She got up and followed next to him. "Did he not contact you after you left him?" She asked as they passed the coy pond.

He stops once before the Bonzai trees and begins to inspect them. "I didn't offer my help cause it would have been a sign of my thinking him weak."

She sat down cross legged on a large flat rock while he looked over the trees. "So why is he coming to visit all of a sudden? Wants to make sure you're not ruling with an iron fist maybe?" SHe asked carefully.

He chuckles some at her remark, then takes up a pair fo pruning sheers and does some trimming. "Not exactly, he does want to see the condition of this land since I took it over, plus I figure he's coming to see about a tribute, it is about time for the next one any way."

After a finale inspection he sets the sheers down and moves back to Lyoko, taking a seat next to her. "Well it varies, sometimes gold or other riches, sometimes weapons and armor, sometimes girls. But don't worry, you'll never be an offering to him. You I keep to myself." He reaches and arm around her as he says that last part.

SHe smiled and leaned against him softly. "I want no one else to have me." She loked at the garden for a moment. "Does he care that you grwo flowers instead of train all day?"

Ryu smiles then whispers to her "his garden is bigger than mine, but don't tell anyone that." He then slips her into his lap, wrapping his arms around her and giving her a kiss.

She kissed him back and cuddled up to him affectionately. "I think it's cute that you're follwing his foot steps almost. Kawaii." She smiled.

She wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm glad he did spare you." She nuzzled his neck softly. "Why were you an offering anyway?"

Ryu smiled at her nuzzling, and do so in return "It was because I was a black dragon, born in a family of gold dragons, My own family saw me as an ill omen. and thus was why I was offered."
