He caught himself just in time, it wasn't as perfect as his last execution, but he took it in stride, he could feel his body adapting, feel his own prodical mind almost helping it along, he looked up, the sun yet again nearly obscuring his target. He cracked his neck, hands in the pockets of his black jeans... one more time...

(try and get longer posts, 4 is the minumum, you're doing pretty good with three but 2 lines isn't long enough.

Also for you convenience and mine we use this form when ever training.

Roll sad this is the dice roll plus any stats that you need to add on and what it equals)
DC sad the dice roll that you have to beat.)
Train:0/10 (However many times you have to break the Dc to finish, usually 10))

The impact this time was much worse, he slammed down on his shoulder, his face twitching slightly in pain. -1Hp

7hp

He got back up not even paying mind to his own suffering. He just stumbled back toward the tree... Every hand hold up the tree he felt that shoulder hit, but he ignored it, it was a minor wound at best, not even something some rest couldn't cure.

He wasn't going to stop until he succeeded.

He stood atop the tree, his face almost serene. He opened one eye, his golden gleam seemingly enhanced the sun behind him. From the ground he was silhouette, standing at the very top of the tree... he buckled his legs, his muscles tightening... he sprung...

Gravity carried him downward, his his senses heightening as the earth came to meet him. His body flowed as he finally hit, tumbling into a roll. With a stylish finesse he came to his feet, his smile slitting across his face.

"Hm...Aces..." he started walking back to the village, snagging his coat from the branch and swooping it about, he put it on mid walk. Placing his hands in their usual pockets. "Now for some real work..."

Xen knelt down shifting the dirt in his hands, then getting back to his upright position. His seeking gaze once more found nothing here, there didn't even seem to be a place it could've been buried. He looked toward the sky a rather pressed look in place. The sun was starting to set, and while the moon it seemed would be right tonight, it wasn't his preferred light source when seeking a sleek black note book.

He pushed up his glasses his eyes still searching from left to right. Still, at least he was covering ground...given that the book hadn't been moved, there were only a few more places it could be. He pulled out his own little black book and scribbled something down in it. With a another change of direction and swish of his coat he headed off toward his next point of call...
The Village Gates themselves...

Lavi jumped from the last of the dwindleing trees, landing hard on the ground. His brow was wet and the effort of carrying Raine and Kimiko was getting to him. Now that they could no longer jump along the trees though he let the two down. Hundreds of villagers fled into the fields, splashing through the shallow water. They all seemed to be going to one area, far from them to the eastern side of the valley oto was nestled in. He still grabbed Raine who ran more willingly now. "Come on over there." he let go of kimiko now running as quickly as he could through water.

For endless minutes the walked until reaching the gates of oto where villagers were flooding out, farmers guiding them with their intricate knowledge of the land. Raine stumbled through the water, lavi grabbing his shirt and tugging him forward. Silently he looked back to the great entrance, of the village, he could just glance the destruction flowing down. A thick river of mud, poured from the gates, people sifting through the wet clay their legs sopping. He felt sick to his stomach. What was he now? A true shinobi? Being dragged along to run and hide?

Kimiko, when she was finally set down, brushed the hem of her outfit down further with a slightly pink tinge in her cheeks. "Stupid exam proctor and picking me up..." she muttered. She looked about to see that Raine and Lavi had already taken off ahead. "Oh sure! Just leave me-"

"Momoe-san we should keep moving, we need to keep an eye out for the villagers." She looked to see her rival was still standing at her side. "Right now the last thing we need is to cause a panic, we need to keep the populace herded and under control."

Kimiko blinked before nodding "Right..." she then took off along side him as they joined a few others who seemed to be flanking the civilians as they rushed out in a tide to get to safety. As the two, now separated from Raine amidst the chaos, made there way along, she looked to Xenon with a slightly curious expression. "Maboroshi...what do think this is about? I mean...all this over just a prisoner? That's what sensei said right?"

Xen seemed serious, his own eyes scanning the crowd and surrounding fields, his own feet kept dry by actually walking across the shallow water. "We don't know enough to make any guesses... but if that's the case... then this is a poorly executed maneuver."

"What do you mean?"

Xen explained. "Sending a single soldier, even a kage, to carry out a mission like this is about a reckless as you charging in back there... they could simply hold the captive hostage, or execute them as a threat. The wise move would be to drive the civilian population away while only guarded by the lesser ninja while the higher class were battling the distraction, then they could send in a sweeping force on the lightly protected civilians and take hostages of their own, demanding the release of the prisoner in exchange for the lives of their own captives."

Kimiko looked slightly alarmed now "Is that why you're so serious? Do you think that they'll do that!?" she looked around slightly paranoid.

"Don't show it... we don't want to cause a stampede." he muttered eying the civilians. "Just stay aware...and besides like I said, I doubt that the Takikage has thought it through that far...I don't think she and I are alike..."

"So your saying that's just what you would do?"

"If forced to stage an operation most likely....but I'd at least try diplomacy first...which makes me wonder if there's an ulterior motive here...at the very least there's something we've not been told."

Kimiko tried to calm herself, walking along her eyes on the villagers. "What will you do if an attack does come?"

"What else Momoe-san?" Xenon's golden eyes pumped with chakra, they're tint shimmering slightly as was his habit. "We'll fight."

Kimiko looked at him sidelong for a moment before nodding. "Yeah...gotcha." her normally innocent face seemed to become as hardened as Maboroshi's. In this at least the two rivals agreed. If people were going to attack what was theirs, they wouldn't let it go without a fight.

Lavi and Raine kept moving, into the crowd now. There were a few other ninja bands that he could she patrolling and leading people to somewhere off in the hills to the east. The chunin stopped letting Raine's collar loose, he found the other two kids that he was leading, just behind them. Almost forgetting about them while trying to take care of Raine. He sighed looking back to the now distant village. Another chunin walked past taller and leaner with a red robe wrapped around him, his angular face was agony as he stared back at the village, Lavi grabbed his shoulder lightly, pointing to his own headband. "Where is everyone going?" his hair stuck to his forehead through sweat and the boy breathed harshly.

"The old secret passages below the mountain. From before." He said the last word harshly assuming that Lavi understood. He knew the oto had a shady past, in fact it hadn't even started as a village, just some rouge ninja. the boy nodded. Wrapping his hand around Raine's head and holding him just in front of him as they walked.

The small boy gazed back at the destruction his stomach turning, after two years of training he was still as helpless as that first day. The first attack on oto, his first day of the academy. Raine remembered begging for his life as he huddled with Mashida behind a tree, there was no fear now. Only pain for his home. The aian Nakkurru hanging around his fingers. A welling flame for Taki grew in him. The bandits he was forced to kill, the jounin that had snapped his body like a twig, and that Kage.... His muscles hardened once more as he glared back. Silently vowing his revenge to the wretched witch. I'll get you someday. I'll break your people like you've broken mine.

Soon they had all come to a cluster of people, far off from the village where they could barely here the dying den of battle. Lavi stepped up his foot coming down and landing on the water like a step. He lifted himself to see over the crowd where people were scurrying up the hill and a line had formed where people were crawling through a small hatch hidden in the grass. Raine stepped up on Lavi's foot and the older boy sunk a bit before readjusting his chakra.

"Hey, I've heard of those! You hear about 'em in the alleys you know from weird people. Saying to come back to the old ways. They've been empty forever."

The line moved forward gradually, and soon they too were standing before the hatch. Lavi turned back looking out over the valley there were few people near the village now and the chaos among the villagers had calmed a bit. Looked down on team 4 he sighed. "K you guys, don't go thinking you've got a job to do today. You're just kids, let us handle things." he looked down at Raine especially,"Go on ahead of me, I'm going to be right behind you."

Raine nodded silently, gazing down into the dark whole. Being the smallest Raine didn't have to crouch down much, just lower his head to get through. The place was damp, but warm with all the hustling bodies. He reached out to guide himself behind the people in front of him, and felt the walls he could not see, their texture smooth with engravings of some kind, like patterns. The outside light illuminated the way, as he stepped forward more, the passage opened and people dispersed further in, all the way people blocked off hallways and lead the way. He came to light once more, where ninjas had lit bulbs with chakra and strung them between poles. The small boy gazed up in amazement, as the soft stone became clear and he could see the intricate gouges in the walls of soft beige, now towering over his head. After many cluttered minutes they came into a larger room where people had settled down holding hands and praying in the dim light. The small boy turned back to the others,"We should keep going, I don't want to be in here." He gestured forward where there were less people.

(Trust in me and follow, for I have plans....Also sorry for the length I got carried away.)

Kurina heard a crash in the village, she got terribly terrified, being a studnet and having no experience in ninjutsu or taijutsu or any kind of jutsu was bad and not helping, so she ran as fast as she could, and noticed the people of the villiage running and walking in one direction, following them was the best thing to do,as there were ninjas to protect them, she walked with them and tried to get to the front, watching behind, ethey were all leaving, she didnt know here they were going, but decided to follow them anyway, being alone wasnt a good decision to do,she also looked around, maybe she could spot her family, maybe her mother or father, though her father wouldnt care if she was here, but she knew her mother was scared and probably lookin for her too, but in this larg crowd,it would be very difficult to find them. this is bad..my training stopped, i cant find my family,...and still a student...bleh she thought nervously and kept walking.

Xenon had been looking around with a paranoia unmatched. Something felt... wrong about this place. Without even noticing it, he'd slipped senbon out of his sleeves into his hands again, still keeping his hands in his pockets to maintain his outwardly calm. No he didn't like this at all. But then there wasn't much of an alternative. As the people settled down in the wide chamber, Kimiko and he were once more along side their teammate, and Raine spoke up.

"We should keep going, I don't want to be in here."

Xenon looked at him and gave a nod. He could sympathize. While his expression wasn't showing it, he was still ready for battle, even more so now that they'd reached the supposed safety of the passage.

"Um, okay." Kimiko continued to follow her teammates with a curious air. her eyes were large and innocent again now they'd entered the passage. She was staring about with a child's fascination, only stopping to give sorrowful looks at the scared people. She whispered to Maboroshi as they followed Raine "This is terrible...forcing all these people out of there homes to come down here, scaring them all...that Takikage's a jerk."

Xenon looked at her sideways. "Oh? I suppose I'm just jaded. This is the reality of war, I don't blame the Takikage anymore than I blame these villagers for running from her. The strong will do as they desire, and the weak will be forced to flee, or become strong themselves. Or die, I suppose. This is the way of things."

Kimiko sighed "You are way to calm about this Maboroshi... I mean can you say that this is right?"

"Right and wrong are abstract concepts Momoe-san, no matter how steadfast your belief is you can always be wrong in another's eyes. If you think this is wrong, then become strong, and enforce your will so it doesn't happen."

Kimiko looked at him a little thoughtfully "I guess...you're right...that's why I want to become strong in the first place." se looked ahead with more hardened eyes once more. She'd get strong and protect the village, just like the other ninja were doing now. She'd make it so these people didn't have to suffer anymore. She'd get strong and protect everyone! It was a Hero's promise!

Xenon continued to stare ahead. 'Yes...I thought as much...' he gave a subtle grin 'As usual, you never cease to be entertaining.'

The clone went quickly across the roof of the tunnel, it's entire chakra based existence on a single task. It left the tunnel and jumped over the heads of the line of citizens with a completely neutral expression. It didn't need emotion, it didn't care about alerting the common folk, it was only interested in it's mission. It's master's golden eyes sought out the nearest figure with an Oto Headband, the Chuunin who'd brought his master here from the forest.

He landed before him and bowed, it's expression slightly glazed, regular clones weren't meant to go this far from their originals, still, it was able to recite it's master's message. "The Takikage is attacking under misinformation, a rogue group who's location is in the deeper tunnels, and who worships the ways of the first Otokage, holds the prisoner in question, Team 4 is engaging to attempt to retrieve the prisoner of her behalf, it is imperative this information reaches the one of the Kage's at once before this situation escalates..." with that the Clone vanished, existence spent, it's task fulfilled...

Lavi stopped looking over to Xen. "Hey I told you to-" the chunin stopped, still gathering village children that had lost their parents. It became apparent that he was talking to a bunshin and it was hard to hear the dull voice over the bustle of the crowd. He heard something about the Takikage attacking, deeper tunnels, first otokage, team 4, prisoner, information reaches, kage's at one? Kages at once! Lavi thought just as the clone poofed away,"No, damnit! what did you have to say!" he threw his hand through the smoke something was wrong. And yet he had no clue. Should he risk trying to get what little info he had gotten to Kasuke? Not to mention from the examination that Xen kid seemed like a real mischeif maker, this could be some elaborate prank. A prank at a time like this? Lavi shook his head trying to decide what to do.

Lavi shook his head, nobody would joke around at a time like this, especially not a kid like that. AS the villagers dwindled all getting into the passages he didn't really have a purpose anyway. Setting out Lavi jumped his and far the cooling air pressing against his skin, he hit the water and splashed in a few inches without touhing the bottom, before stepping forward on top of the water and running as fast as he could to the village entrance.

Other ninja watched him go. "Jeeze another one that thinks he can make a difference in a fight like that. *Psht*"

while walking with the crowd,Kurina got bored, and wantedto do something that could help her training, but there wasnt much to do at this point,so she put her hands in her pockets to notice a small book inside one of them, she takes it out and looks at with a curoise face, she didnt remember when she put it in her pocket.she started flipping pages while walking, then remembered what it was about.tales of a warriori she thought to herself, she got this book from her mother, she knew she liked reading fantasy or warrior stories of ninjas. as the crowd was walking,Kurina took a different turn, she knew where they were going,The old secret passages below the mountain. she knew how to get to that, and plus readinga book wont take long, cause after all,it wasnt long, only a few pages.,that contained difficult words, but she wanted to read it anyways. she found a rocky place and sat on one of the pillars, and focused to read the book.

this was a very exciting book, it explains how the young warrio began his journy from the beggining, when he was just a student, and how he trained hard to be a genin,it was so exciting the Kurina kept on reading while the villiagers kept moving on, a smile appeared on her face, this warrior somehow was like her, someone who wants to be a legendry shinobi to bring peace and let everyone acknowledge him, she kept reading with that smile on her face.
