Hey, fire ant hills are tiny, but they can be highly painful and distressing when interacted with. wink

Fair enough. xp
So, how goes the family, work, and/or tabletopping situations?

It's primarily treading water, I fear. Family and work are going as they have been for some time. Tabletopping is on hiatus, still have yet to recover from the group implosion. My GM is talking about starting a Robotech campaign, but that hasn't happened yet.

Unfortunately, yes. I'm just biding my time until I can get some good news from the income tax. We've filed, and are now waiting.

Hopefully you get a nice return. Also, I hope you were never an Anthem customer given their recent hack and the subsequent new form of identity theft, fraudulent tax filing.

From federal, our home will be recieving over $7000 . . . but we are in a waiting pattern for that. As for Anthem, I've never heard of them. It is horrifying to think of that sort of a breach. We use a private individual, and she has done my taxes for years.

Wow, 7k's not bad at all, so I hope the process of getting that is expedited. Anthem (aka: Blue Cross Blue Shield) is an insurance company (mostly health, I believe), and they've had what is, as far as damages are concerned, probably the largest hack in history.

Having two kids helps with the earned income credit. Either way, we have plans. I am hoping to allot $300 of it, and that is about all I dare.

Oh, yeah, I think the discount for # of children keeps stacking up to 6, which is very nice of the government (outside of certain religious groups or other people who are against the idea of birth control, I know of no family with more than 5 kids [twins+ notwithstanding]).

Not sure about my wife . . . she is the second youngest of 11. That should have been a fairly large payback.

That's pretty unusual, though I was speaking more for generations after ours. I'm the youngest of 5 kids.
