Florida??? I visited once and had to wear all my summer clothing to keep from dying! And it was December!
And oh, we call those long Johns. Don't know why, but we do.

Florida is far too warm. I inhabited a pool for most of the visit. No wonder you're all tanned beach bunnies.

I GOT A PET RAT. A little baby.
He's gray.
I named him "Splinter," in homage to small peices of wood.
He's kickass. And adorable. His balls are huge. He's a manly man.
It's taken him half an hour to eat a centimeter square of ham.

He's a rat. He can/will eat anything.
And, in any case, why wouldn't you feed any animal (that eats meat) ham?

With a bit of luck, (and some serious price digging), I may end up going down to Florida around Thanksgiving. It'll sure beat being stuck here alone in the cold, if it works.
And in other news, apparently I'm not such a bad photographer after all. One of my photos was picked as a winner in a campus-wide contest, and is going to be framed and hung in one of the residence hall lobbies! biggrin

Have to disagree with you there, slice.
Wilmington, NC is the greatest.
And congrats Soul.

No congrats yet, the plans haven't been finalized. But if it does work out, it'll definitely be better than being stuck here listening to my upstairs neighbors screwing for a week straight. sweatdrop

I hold my place firmly that North Carolina smells like burnt hair and Florida is kickass.

ninja ninja
... why don't we all just come to the conclusion that Canada is the good-ness because it's big so it has different temperatures. Besides, without snow, how would you skate, toboggan or play hockey? Honestly!
That's great about the photos, Soulwreckage! I secretly and subtly envy your talent over here in my dark corner.
And To rex, I feed meat to my cats but that's because they eat tuna anyway... what do rats in the wild eat? neutral

Everything. They eat everything.
Ever hear someone joke about rats being the size of cats in NYC? It's not a joke. The rats can go on leashes.
Anyways, street hockey > Ice hockey.
Street Hockey kicks a**.

Rats... the size of cats...? Seriously? eek *has only seen a rat with the body length of a hand* ninja I thought they were joking!
Besides, street hockey isn't the same. It doesn't have that feeling of tasting the chill in the arena air, the warm hot chocolate in your mittens and that delightful swishing sounds of smooth skates against polished ice. Ah... I haven't been to a game in a while... whee
You may find it hard to believe, but I'm actually not a fan of hockey. It just reminds me of my childhood when my dad always played.
