The Syrian Empire was not built in a week, month, or even a year. Syra was built in one day. Most people deny this. But for some Syrians, the elitists, it is anything but false. It is truth, sacred, and even religion for those who swear there life, blood, and soul to the immortal god emperor Syr.
The story goes as so;
One man washed ashore.
Dark ebon hair that fell to his waist wet and salt kissed by the vast ocean.
Eyes like the Plains of Ochor, a mesmerizing green.
Black barb tattoos covered the man's olive skin, making him appear like a jungle cat from the far continents to the south.
All that covered him were the tattered remains of his leather armor and a few scraps of metal still banded to him.
He only carried a spear and shield, both chased in silver with tiger heads snarling from them.
But all most people remember were the eyes.
That is the first sighting of Syr, the God Emperor. He took anyone on that challenged him, from a lowly fisherman trying to protect his family, to the greatest barbarian chiefs. Syr crushed any in his path and streams of followers seemed to flock to him.
All it took was a day, only a day, and a city was raised in the middle of the Plains of the Ochor. After all that came was conquest after conquest. It lasted ten years until Syr vanished from his great hall. His empire stretched from the Iron Forest, Yrggsadell Forest, in the north. From sea to sea from either the east or west, and all the way down south to Idrian's Wall which held the line from the infidels to the south.
And that is what I have so far...

So, I chugged a fifth of wine yesterday within a minute and a half. Would have been faster but the first drink was a tasting and I swished it around my mouth for thirty seconds to get the full flavor. Good s**t.
