(Blah. I feel bad for not posting in a long time. I'm sorry for it, though. School's gotten tough and I got caught up in the high school scheduling and now mid-terms are coming up. Stress is bad enough for me as it is and it's gotten a bit heavy lately. I got really sick a while ago and now it's just school, school, school.) BRAMBLEFIRE Starclan, forever my enemy... [Bramblefire could hear his named being called by a familiar voice. Blackflames, to be exact. He ran towards the voice, he hadn't seen her in a while. They were mates, for Starclan's sake! How come they never talked!?]"Blackflame, Babe. I haven't seen you in awhile.  Snowkit and Wildkit[ Snowkit and Wildkit both could see that the group he had seen before had returned. They were still curious as to what happened, though, but they put that out of their mind. By now, food was all they were thinking about.] "Let's eat in the den this time," Wildkit said. "Mom's probably back by now." [ Snowkit nodded and they went over to the fresh kill pile, both of them choosing a tasty bird. They then padded over to the nursery.]

[I shivered, remembering the savage look on Brokensoul's muzzle]

[I stared at Brokensoul for a few moments, my amber eyes wide and shocked. Then the true meaning of his words kicked in and my claws came out. I straightened up, looming over the tom, my dark red fur bristling, eyes wild, mouth snarling. If he had really killed Lavenderstar, then I could kill him, right? I wasn't thinking rationally at this point, but oh well]
"You mangy piece of foxdung!!!" I yowled, "If you killed her.. that means you should die too!"
[I leapt at Brokensoul, outstretching my legs so I could knock him over, and then land safely on the tom's stomach. That's exactly what happened, to my success. Digging my claws into Brokensoul's shoulders, I spit in his face, growling]
"Tell the truth. Tell the truth, or I'll kill you!"
[Willowheart poked her head out of the den, and gazed at me in shock]
"Songkit, stay here" she commanded,
[Bounding towards me, she lowered herself down, preparing to spring at me. I whipped my muzzle to the side, snarling]
"Stay back, Willowheart. He..he.."
[She stopped and continued towards me at a slower pace, trying to get to me without being swung at]

No, her own loyal warrior had let the beast attack her! This one thought numbed her insides. She had failed. Failed as a friend, as a mother (Her kits barely even acknowledged her existance anymore!), but worse of all, failed as a leader. Her Clan had turned against her! First with Fathom, then with Cinderwing. Now Brokensoul? What had she done to her Clan?
Keep strong, a voice said soothingly. One voice she could say was her conscience. Still, her eyes narrowed.] "How can I be strong when everybody in my Clan, the one that I'm running, hates me?" [she demanded.
Maybe if you didn't mope about in your den all day like a lazy mouse, you would get the respect you deserve," it countered sourly.
Lavenderstar didn't bother arguing. She was right. She was a lously leader.]

[I let out a yowl, then plunged my teeth deep into Brokensoul's shoulder, reopening a wound I had previously made]
"What did you do to her!?!!!"
[I could barely form a coherant thought, my loud anger was drowning everything else out, all I could think was: Kill Shadow. It didn't occur to me that if I killed Shadow, I'd kill Brokensoul too. That didn't really matter either. He was a weakling for letting this happen to him. I could hear Willowheart crying and pleading for me to let go and leave Brokensoul alone, but there was no way that was gonna happen]

[I shut my mouth, flanks heaving. This kit was always in some kind of danger!]

[Mudnose smiled back at Foxfur, before she turned to Envypaw.] "Okay, let's go-" her voice was cut off by the snarls of Foxfur and Brokensoul behind her. She gasped, looking around to see the two fighting. She hissed and stared over to the two, but stopped, looking at Envypaw. "Go take Songkit to the nursery. I have to go find Lavenderstar!" she meowed before starting out of camp. A black and white tom stopped her though. She hissed angrily, trying to push Him out of the way. "Swansong, move you stupid furball!" she growled. He pushed her back, his eyes glaring for a second before he dashed out of camp. Then it clicked. He was going to go find her.
Nodding slightly, she started toward Brokensoul, who was being brutally mutilated by Foxfur. She shook slightly. If Lavenderstar was found, she probably wouldn't want the tom dead quite yet...right? Mudnose cleared her throat. "Swansong's gone to look for her, Foxfur. We shoudn't kill him until Lavenderstar's here," she meowed loudly, hoping that Foxfur would hear her. [ooc:] Well, Brokensoul went a wee bit mental, and let Shadow take over. SHadow attacked Lavenderstar, but it wasn't that bad. He came back to camp and has convinced Foxfur that he killed Lavenderstar. Swansong went to find her. So Foxfur and Mudnose are making sure SHadow stays where he is until it's proven that she's dead. She didn't lose a life though. Rabbitkit's in Hauntedheart's den still, and I think he asked for poppy seeds for his bad paw. He's getting better, as in his whitecough is going away. Would now be a good time to ask her if he can be his apprentice. He would make a terrible Warrior. Poor little cripple. D: (His front aw got messed up by a dog)
