[Lucian ~.~ Caribbean Sea ~.~ Flying Dutchman --> Pearl]About the time Kuro Oni, James, and Alex stepped through a portal, a malicious grin stretched from ear-to-ear on Lucian's face. All reserve left him and he became primal. He dashed to the back of the ship and leaped off. Using the whirlpool to his advantage, he leaped precisely as the Pearl aligned behind the Dutchman and flew straight towards the enemy ship.[Anthony ~.~ Caribbean Sea ~.~ Black Pearl]Anthony watched as the ship entered the whirlpool. He could feel his nausea resurfacing. He ran his hand down his arm to his wrist and pressed down, just as Noelle showed him, then did the same on the other wrist. "I hope they're doing alright," he thought to himself. Shortly after, the battle begun. Pirates and Heartless swarmed the deck, though the young man was more than ready this time. Without hesitation, he summoned his abnormally large gauntlets and began to to pound through the masses, piercing Heartless with his chains and clobbering fish-pirates and militia aside. Just as he knocked away an opponent, the knight looked straight ahead and stopped in his onslaught, staring wide-eyed at James, who was fighting for the bad guys. "JAMES!" he bellowed, though his voice may have been drowned out by the raging walls of water around them and the clash of swords about the deck. The Earthling sprang forward towards his lost companion, but his path was suddenly blocked by a man cladded in white who fell before him, back facing him, landing in the crouched position. [Anthony/Lucian ~.~ Black Pearl]Lucian used the yards and masts and gaffs to slow himself down as he flew over the ship, clinging, swinging, flipping, and pushing off until finally he stop atop a yard and stared down at the chaos bellow.
To his surprise, the Replica spotted his original.
He smiles again, his teeth tightly clenched placing emphasis on his canines, then stepped off the yard and fell, landing in front of Anthony, with his back facing his counter part.
He turns to face him. "Hey there, good lookin'."After a moment of dialogue, the two began to fight, ending with Lucian on his back. Lucian began to laugh and applaud from where he laid. "Bravo, bravo!" he said as he got back onto his feet. "I didn't think you had it in you."As the adrenaline wore off, Anthony was clearly able to see his attacks barely left a mark on the Replica. A sharp pain in his chest caused the knight to fall to a knee as the darkness hands retracted back into his body. "Perhaps I spoke a bit too soon." Lucian approached his original and kicked him to the ground. "If you know what's good for you, you'll stay down and cower like you always do. You'll survive longer." The Replica turned around and walked away, joining the others in their relentless attack on the Pearl's crew.

[Dawn : Caribbean : Black Pearl]
Dawn nodded at Riku, but remained silent. She wasn't surprised when he said that James was there. She already said that she wouldn't fight her friend. At the same time he was there. Ready to fight them.
~'Sunlight you have to fight. He is not the James you know, he is no different than a mindless drone. The only way you can help him is by standing against him.'~
'Garuda...' Dawn was going to say more, but chaos of the battle didn't allow her the time to think or do much else.
She looked over at Leon and Riku, she nodded a little as she said, "I guess it is time to dance... The dancer soon started to move her feet and enchant her allies with Bravery while she continued to move her feet.

[Jenny;Siren :: Atlantica :: Throne Room]She had been reciting the melodies in her mind; trying to steady her breathing. There was a sweet voice the the soft lull of a harp as Siren helped, for which the flutist was immensely grateful. Jenny felt the magic envelop her, and it was as if time suddenly felt slower around her but she felt her senses sharpen. "Thanks!" Jenny replied to Sayrike before she saw the ground quiver like a tensed bow then shortly after Sora's call into her mind.
His voice jolted her as she took a sharp intake of breath, looking to the princesses and nodding. Jenny placed the cool metal of her flute on her lips and without further hesitation the first note filled the chamber and echoed outwards. A glyph glowed into life underneath her; the soft hues of light cast colors in the already surreal waters. Light erupted alongside a burst of energy as Siren flew up above the mage; her wings unfurling, completely unhampered by the presence of water. The sound of the harp echoed now instead of being just a presence in Jenny's mind and its sweet melody filled the room before rushing outward towards the battleground. The sound of the harp joined the flute in harmony as Jenny placed all her concentration into her magic. Siren opened her mouth, and a sound sweet enough to beguile the most hardened sailor materialized into song.
"Allegro!" Her song quickened in tempo before she wove it together with another melody. "Reflect!"Glyphs exploded all over the battlefield, enveloping her allies in a warm glow of light as they felt their movement quicken and protective shields wash over them as if the space around them shifted with energy. They would keep them safe for one or two hits from the enemy; reflecting them back as non-elemental damage.
"We need to go on the offensive!""Patience. Once we get a clear view of the battleground. Trust me, I don't like being blind to battle but let us support them and once we have our targets, we will rain the fury of the universe upon them!"Jenny didn't try to argue, she knew Siren was right. Another breath, another song... "Bobbi! How is it? Jenny asked, a hint of panic in her voice mingled with relief at the sound of the frost archer. ((Sorry this may seem rushed, or wrong? D': I'm on a quick work break, so I'll go back and read it again when some downtime comes along. LOVE YOU ALL.))

[ Ajora ; Artemis : ? ? ? : Underground Caverns ]
Ajora couldn't help but chuckle as he led the other three down the spiraling chasm, using the Trident to light the way with a constant glow of energy. Everything, so far, had gone flawlessly. The heroes were trapped protecting Atlantica and keeping the pirates' stories as they should, leaving Atlantis as completely fair game.
Nice job on that stars, though. Must have taken all night.
Nodding as they neared the bottom of the chasm, Ajora didn't bother looking back to see if the other two had kept up; he knew Artemis was following him diligently, as Elleon had desired. "If you're worried about being bored, don't be. We'll have some pests here, but the others will arrive in time."

[ Sora : Atlantica : Battlefield ]
Sora grinned as he felt the Haste and Reflect boons enhance his body in the middle of his charge. Jenny and Siren's song could be heard around the battlefield as clear as if they were in the middle of the fray, and when the Princesses added in their melodies, they would sound just as close.
It's amazing, to think every single soldier is being hit with the same spells...
Not giving it too much thought, Sora cleaved straight through an Aquatank before swinging at a stunned Fish-Soldier Heartless--only to have a quick barrage of spells disintegrate the beast in front of him. Sora glanced up only to see a brief glimpse of the Star Cannon soar toward a different target entirely.
For a second, the Keyblader couldn't help but watch the dozens of erratic lights flashing throughout the field, unleashing a ceaseless barrage on the army. Quite a few of the weaker Heartless and... jellyfish were getting destroyed.
Ajora's army may have had greater numbers, but it didn't matter much compared to the quality of their army and the sheer offensive web of light Kyle had erected.
That moment of distraction was enough for a Geist to try to swing at Sora, only for the Reflective barrier to take the hit for him. He snapped out of the reverie and blasted the pale ghost with a Blizzard spell, draining it to nothing.
Can't lose focus.
Another roar echoed around the battlefield.
[[I forgot to mention, the Star Cannon shots are weak Banish-blasts. Maybe 2-3 MS, Light elemental. Great against Heartless, just pesky for actual enemies.]]

[ Riku ; Kuja ; Ajora : Caribbean : Pearl ]
The chaotic currents, while normally might have thrown some off their balance, didn't phase Riku much. He'd gone through similar situations, the most recent in his memory being having to jump from thrown building to thrown building against Xemnas just two years ago. As Leon approached, the steady Keyblader nodded.
"Yeah," was all he mentioned as the ship was driven into the Maelstrom.
When the fight began, Riku's attention was split between the obvious assault and the hairs on his neck telling him a portal had opened nearby. Sparing a quick glance toward the portal, he saw Kuro, James, and some other person exit, beginning their assault. His attention was immediately locked onto that, which was only aided by Axel's shout.
"Don't kill James!" he shouted, hopefully loud enough to catch the attention of the entire crew. Since the crew of the Pearl were there before James was taken, he assumed they'd know who he was. "Aim to capture, not kill! The others are fair game!"
With Dawn's Bravery buff taking effect, Riku used the opportunity to knock an EITC soldier clear off the deck into the maelstrom below.
"Not the brightest little girl," Kuja muttered to Dawn as he took up a defensive position near her, destroying a small group of Shadows with his spheres before casting a quick Wall buff on her. "Must you dance here? It's unwise to take center stage if you can't properly keep it."
Ajora was largely absent for the beginning of the assault--in fact, he was out of sight entirely at first. However, there was a silent blur of motion above everyone's heads, and without warning, Demyx would have found himself face to face with the Kyle-Doppelganger himself.
"Quite the spot up here," he said, his casual tone and stance implying he didn't care to fight, either. "Care to share?"

[Nicholas :: ??? :: Underground Caverns]
Ajora's words caught Nick's ear, making the Avatar of Chaos giggle with morbid delight. "I get to play with new toys? Oh, Ajora, you just know how to make me swoon." He cackled again, wrapping each of his fingers slowly around the hilt of his blade. It was such a wonderful thing to have, a powerful weapon to wield for his ambitions. He couldn't help but shake his head in disappointment, however, at the Avatar of the Bloody Angel using the God of the Sea's trident as a night light. It was disrespectful; there were so many other options he could have picked for light. The Heartless were the villains' tools in Kingdom Hearts, so you might as well use them! But, Ajora was the 'boss', and Nick knew better then to object over something so frivolous.
It's a shame, Chaos. You have to get all your kicks from the murder and violence through me instead of enjoying them first hand.
Unless I claim your body as my own, insolent mortal. Then you will suffer through this endless torment that I have had to suffer through.
Ah ah ah, that's no way to treat me, Chaos. After all, I am an excellent host. You are like the sword I wield, an extension of myse[lf and nothing more. I can choose to use you in battle, or I can leave you atop the shelf to rot until I die.
Don't push your luck, child. I have experienced more than you can possibly imagine...
Nick didn't respond after that, focusing on his footsteps through the cavern and pondering upon what opponents he would face next.

{Bobbi .:. Atlantica .:. Above Battlefield} :Nothing too horrible so far,: Bobbi said to Jenny. She continued in a general broadcast to everyone with a charm. :Kyle's laser cannon things are wiping out the small fry. Anyone with Ice, concentrate on the Geists, leave the big fish to the others. Um, pun not intended.:A few more hits with her Blizzard Combo took out the Grimm geist she'd been working on. "Feh, single target attacks won't work," she muttered to herself, chewing her lip as she surveyed the layout. It was hard to find good targets for her next spell. Everything was moving, and with Jenny's Haste in effect, the Atlantican army was moving ridiculously fast. But am I faster? Time to find out.:Heads up, I'm going to follow my own advice here in a moment. Anyone who can relay this to our troops, please give them the heads-up. Incoming icicles!:Bobbi summoned Taulmaril to hand, and coated an arrow with her Hailstorm spell. She aimed the arrow upwards, further above the battlefield, and shot. When the arrow reached the apex of it's flight, it burst into a hail of icicles that rained down on the battlefield. While the storm was still falling, she fired off multiple arrows as fast as she could, aiming for the Geists. With the Haste in effect, she was getting off nearly a dozen arrows in just a few seconds.✧✧✧✧✧ {Demyx .:. Caribbean .:. Pearl}
"Bwah!" Demyx shouted as Ajora popped up right in front of him. The Melodious Nocturne stumbled backwards as far as he could, and summoned his Sitar. His posture was purely defensive; hopefully the Replica wasn't psycho enough to take Arpeggio as a threat.
"Just looking for a good view?" Demyx asked. He was pretty confused. It didn't look like Ajora wanted a confrontation, but after the fiasco at the beach, Demyx wasn't taking any chances. And besides, he'd kind of allied himself with the kids, so shouldn't he be looking to take this guy out? Was it something he would have done if he'd had a heart?
Stupid artsy girl making me think. She just made life way more complicated than it has to be.

{Kuro Oni; Alex ; James : The Pearl : Deck}
Kuro Oni's eyes scanned the battlefield, cackling lightly at Riku's warning to the crew. They wanted their corsair back of course, alive. The overall chaos made it hard to pinpoint a target, until he saw Dawn standing up near the wheel moving her feet in a little dance, obviously trying to aid her allies. His eyes narrowed, focusing on her as he charged forward, knocking any enemy in his path out of the way. When he reached the foot of the stairs he leaped and went into a "Dash" to propel himself in a semi-blurred movement up and behind Dawn and Kuja.
"How much longer do you intend to keep up this stupid charade?!" The Nightmare Dreadnought yelled as he slashed through the air with his hands three times. Nine blades of energy flying through the air at Kuja as he unleashed the Wolf Fang Fist at close range. If the genome avoided them they would continue to fly for a distance until they hit something be it foe or object.
James remained as silent as he had been the entire time, even as Anthony yelled out his name, he continued to fight anyone that got in his path. In unison with Kuro Oni he began to advance towards the wheel of the ship where his friend was. As Kuro Oni hopefully drew Kuja and possibly even Dawn's attention, the lunar gunner closed in on the dancer and his arms and hands attempted to snap together in a Ruthless Vice around Dawn's legs in an attempt to crush them. If he succeeded in even grabbing one, there was a chance he could cripple her.

[ Riku ; Kuja ; Ajora : Caribbean : Pearl ]
Kuro Oni's movements did not go unseen, so his Dash behind them was met with Kuja immediately turning to face him, allowing him to intercept the three attacks with ease. His five Holy spheres formed a circular guard in front of him, a Reflect-shield forming between them to catch the energy waves. When all were caught, the shield erupted, sending each back as Non-elemental blasts toward the original attacker.
While Kuja was busy taking care of the leading pest, James was allowed to get through to Dawn. If she didn't react on her own, it was unlikely Kuja would be able to help.
"For the moment," he mused, taking the opportunity to lean on the nest's railing and peer down toward fight below. "I don't plan to attend the entire fight, I have other things to get to. And you?"
Ajora turned a raised brow at the Nobody, one side of his mouth tugging upward knowingly. "Why aren't you helping them? Don't you think it'd be a bit suspicious if none of your water abilities aided them... in the middle of the ocean? They might begin to question your loyalties."

The Nobody frowned at Ajora's words.
"They know I don't like to fight," Demyx hedged, though his mind was furiously churning. Dude did have a point, after all. "And, you know, maybe this was part of my plan. Maybe I, um, came up here knowing that you, uh, wanted a good view, and... yeah, okay, that's dumb."
Maybe if I lull him into a sense of security and attack when he least expects it? When would he least expect it? I mean if I took this guy out, maybe they'd forget I hid during the last couple of fights.

[ Riku ; Kuja ; Ajora : Caribbean : Pearl ]
"Calm down, tiger, I'm tryin' to help you out," Ajora said, laughing (not loud enough to be heard below, especially with the storm) before turning back to the lower battles. He wasn't being very hostile at all, it seemed.
"No, you're right, they know you're not a fighter," he said, nodding in recognition of the fact. "But you have quite the vantage point from up here. You could wipe the decks clean with a few plucks of those sitar strings and you couldn't be touched. Whether you meant it or not, this is one of the best positions for someone like you."
Ajora snorted. "Unlike that foolish little dancer on the helm. See?" He pointed down toward Dawn, being protected by Kuja and assaulted by James and Kuro Oni. "Girl decides to make herself completely vulnerable in the middle of the @#$in;' fray. What's the point in letting them live if they're just going to commit suicide anyway?"

Demyx looked out over the battle as well, noticing the ebb and flow of battle. He saw Dawn and the others, saw them fighting with all they had. He had the vague idea that he should be helping them, despite what Ajora said. It's what someone with a heart would do, wasn't it?
Wasn't it?
"Stop messin' with my head!" Demyx growled, but there wasn't much conviction behind it.

[Dawn : Caribbean : Black Pearl]
Dawn glanced at Kuja as she moved around. Though she hate to admit it he was right. But there were very few places for safe dancing when there was an epic battle going on. Even below deck she wouldn't be much good there. Kuja did buff her. Before the dancer could do or say anything else. Kuro Oni and James rushed at them. Dawn summoned her Aerora spell over herself, it wasn't fast enough to stop James from grabbing hold of her leg.
The dancer cried out in pain as she fell to her knees. Though she could still use her legs, it was enough to cause some damage to her and stop her dance, and the Bravery she gave everyone to fade.. Her mind was rushing she had to do something. To at least blow them off their feet so they could do something. Get a defense. She just wanted them to get away.
~'Just knock them off their feet Sunlight'~
Dawn allowed the wind to gather around her as she slapped her fans together. Causing a large blast that was enough to knock Kuro Oni and James, along with any other enemies away from her and Kuja by several feet.

[Atlantica: Throne Room]
The castle shook, the entire city being riled up by the rise of the black spire, and the princesses shrieked, the guards fins ruffled up. There was nothing to 'protect' them from, but they went further on guard.
"Girls! We must get a hold of ourselves!" Attina cried out, her own voice shaking before taking her place, her sisters eventually doing the same with their own respective places. A guard went to a large drum, taking up a large mallet, another grabbing an odd stringed instrument.
And the girls sang, and the guards played. It echoed across the battlefield, giving the warriors on the Atlantica side of the war a type of renewed vigor, a small boost in morale and power as the enchanted lyrics fell upon their ears.
[All Atlantica-allied forces gain a +1 to Physical Attack, Physical Resistance, Action Speed, Outright Speed, Evasive Reflexes, and Constitutional Endurance]
[Atlantica: Front Lines]
Triton could hear the soulful singing of his daughters, and led his army in the charge against the vile creatures that dared attack his kingdom. His spear tore through enemies that dared get too close to him, his soldiers and citizens fighting with all of their might and hope.
Joe could feel the magic. All of it coursing through his body. Haste. The song of the princesses. It coiled up inside him, wrapping tighter and tighter before exploding outward as Joe charged in. He was a blur of motion and current, his staff and tail flying out as he himself ripped through enemies, storming through them in a cyclone of a current. He wasn't planning on being stopped, not with this much speed and power in him.
[Caribbean: Flying Dutchmann]
So, the fighting started. Some had gone directly for the Pearl. Some had not. Azrael was of the latter, having taken up a spot in the crow's nest. Bal-Hur and Noku were gone, suddenly disappearing through portals. No, Az didn't need them right now, as he pointed his hand the Black Pearl. He could see well enough. Especially with his target being so flamboyantly red-headed
He pulled back his fingers, leaving only his middle finger and thumb extended, and let the wind gather. Really, it was like mixing the concepts of his wind blade and his wind bullet, aiming it at Axel. "Wind Arrow!" The compressed air, thin and straight, shot through the air at high speeds, creating a visible streak through the air that lasted a second after it passed through. It was shot at Axel, though it was entirely possible that it was off by inches, so Az fired off a few more. And kept firing. Amazing what a bit of long distance support could do. And if an 'ally' went into his sights? Not his problem.
