Aegina saw Barick wobble and quickly grabbed his arm with one hand and put him back upright. She still had Leonard in her other arm. She gave him a soft slap in attempt to wake him up. "Leonard... Leonard.... wake up..." She told him.

Aegina gasped. "Who's there?" Aegina asked, holding Leonard protectively against her. She held her sword up at the direction that Leonard let loose his energy. Swords rose up in a circle around where the invisible being was, pointing inwards.

The witch grinned at Mana. "My powers are a gift from god. I've been sent from heaven to do great deeds for this city. But you don't caer about that, do you? You care about something much more dear to you. You care... about her." The witch opened up a small portal which showed a bird's eye view of Aegina. She was holding Leonard very closely, and from that angle, it almost looked like she had feelings for this other man. "Looks like she has her hands full. Now, who might that be?" Illiene asked, teasingly.

the reaper stepped into the sword, impaling himself, and kept going, black blood oozing from the wound. becoming visible to all, the reaper pulled the sword out, and pointed it at her."give me him." the reaper said commandingly.

the reaper took the knife to his face, and dropped, but when he got up, his hood had fallen, revealing the face of a pale youth. looking at aislin, he smiled, pulling the knife out, dropping it. the hole was blood and rough."do you protect this man?"

Kir saw what was going on over where Aislin was. He looked at the people he was with before running over and stopping between Leonard and the Reaper, behind Aislin. He wasn't going to let this guy kill Leonard.

"They're gone now. The zombies are gone," Rachel thought to Durrahn.

Mana winced instinctively when he saw Aegina and leonard. "Its a friend, obviously something happened." He wasnt about to accuse Agina of something he wasnt sure of, he didnt like what he was seeing but he didnt want to hurt her by a lack of trust.

the Reaper smiled when Kir got in the way. "You, Kir, though i AM grateful for your help with my Tome, are no longer a weapon, this i know. therefore... i should have no problem with simply..." the Reaper said before suddenly moving towards him, a series of afterimages, floating to Kir, and reaching for him, the Reaper believing he could get him now that he was no longer a weapon. a foot from him though, the reaper seemed to stop, unable to proceed. scowling, he beat on an invisible wall, unaffectable by any, only affecting the Reaper. scowling, the Reaper moved back. "Interesting... i had thought without your weapon form, your significance would have faded in this life... it seems, Kir, you still have your part to play.

Leonard was unconcious, out cold... but through it all he heard a single person shouting. Xiu was telling him to get up? why? he was so tired... couldnt she just let him go back to sleep? then it registered. she had called him a weakling. pissing him off, Leonard's energy spiked, just as the Reaper moved around Aegina, reaching for Leonard. Opening his eyes, Leonard brought his clawed hand up, catching the Reaper's hand, and sending a surge of energy through it, blowing the entire arm off. sliding back, the Reaper floated around to the front of their little group, looking at them all. "It seems youve all made me miss my opportunity... oh well..." The Reaper said, floating up, back towards the castle a little ways, watching them. "One Day, you will all return to the Ether... but for you, Kir, and you, Leonard, the return will be at a greater cost than you will be able to bear..." the Reaper said cryptically, before fading away like mist, out of existance.

Slipping from Aegina, Leonard teleported to get a good look at them all, and to get far enough to easily draw his panels to him, his energy arcing to each panel. "I thank you all, for defending me... but... i had thought for certain you would have, for the most part, left me to die... after all i have done to you..." Leonard said, before walking back to Xiu. "And you. Dont make the mistake of calling me a weakling." Leonard said, half seriously, half jokingly.

"Hm..." Seeing that she wouldn't be able to make Mana jealous and take own Aegina, Illiene came up with a different plan. A dark purple mist rose from under Mana and moved around mana's ankle and hands. They hardened into steel shackles tightly around mana's wrists and ankle.

Aegina put her arm around barick's torso and looked at Aislin. "Help me lift him up, quick."
