Xalikar We have something like it in Idaho.... >.> whether or not it will work is.....questionable (the movement in its entirety) It seems to be everywhere. It's still growing. What do you wish it would accomplish? I'd like to see the President's jobs bill passed so dangerous bridges would be repaired and jobs would be created.

Harvey_Kinkle Giesta Harvey_Kinkle Giesta Harvey_Kinkle I enjoy talking with you too. I need to win the lottery so I have more time to hang out. Yes, me too so I can quit this pain in the @22 Job I am in. xd I am glad you like it, and hope to continue to be able to talk to you as well. 3nodding Yeah a few million would come in handy. lol. But in the meantime... in these hard times it's good to have an income and housing and food. What do you think of the occupy Wall Street 99% events all over the country? We even have a little smething in my small town. Is there anything going on near you? Think it'll make a good difference? Yeah, I hear you, a person could live off just the interest off of 1 mill dollars. sweatdrop I have seen news of it and its seems to be a good idea at least to have some people that are able to show some backbone and do some good in this way but sadly it is turning into a unruly mob in some places where the people are less interested in protest and more in just causing mischief and mayhem. . sweatdrop There are now here, but if someone though to do so I am sure no-one here would likely cause problems and it would be a peace protest. From the reports I've seen, the violence has been primarily by the police not so much the occupiers. The police tear gassed an 80-something year old woman and gave a serious concussion to an Army soldier recently back from serving in the Middle East. Are you reading anything at the moment? I have Michael Moore's book out of the library. What an interesting kid he was. Yes, a lot of the violence is in the Police forces right now, though I seemed to hear about a situation where a girl got raped some where? Only just some sci-fi and fantasy stuff, the one I want to read I dont have yet, but I hope to get this weekend. Book by Stephen King. about JFK. The guy is interesting, he is talking about his childhood?

I'd love to see King's point of view on JFK.

Would have been werid to see him as a priest and see him at what he does now. 3nodding The book its self is a bit sci-fi for the fact that someone wants to go back in time and stop him from being asssinated and then the person decides to do something "Bigger" but it does say what that is. sweatdrop

I'd like to see that bill pass, but you know that the GOP won't pass it because it would be a win for Obama. Of course if they don't pass it...I still see it as a win for him

Either way the Bill must be voted on and it could be either helpful or damaging to both parties due to their beliefs and tendencies. sweatdrop

I read that there have been a record number of filibusters lately by the Congress (primarily by Republicans).

Did you see the 99% Action Day Bat-Signal on the Verizon building in NYC? I tell ya, it's so cool I have to grin ear to ear. Here's a still photo: http://mountainsageblog.com/2011/11/17/blue-99-projection-glows-on-the-verizon-building/And here's the story with a video of the bat-signal message: http://axisoflogic.com/artman/publish/Article_64054.shtml

Priesthood and his documentaries have that in common. He was also a prankster in his youth. Will you get the book to check it out? Or should I tell you some of them? About Stephen King and JFK: Ah, a fictional story. That's even more interesting than a history. That something "Bigger"... does or doesn't it say what it is? I couldn't tell which from what you wrote.

If you like you can tell me about his book, I may yet get it to as well, tomorrow when I am in the next town over where I can buy it and the other book I mentioned as well. 3nodding There have been many of those "What If's?" but that is a big one because of the potentinal it could have been with him continuing his full term as Pres. 3nodding It did not say what the "Bigger" was, though I imagine it has to do with The Cold War and such. 3nodding

Here's a little tidbit from Michael Moore's biography. The town newspaper stole an entire article from Michael's newspaper and didn't attribute it to the author. So Michael went to the thief-editor's office with a pie plate filled with dog crap and the copyright sign written in cool whip. He left it on the editor's desk. The editor-thief then printed an apology the very next day. lol
