As Iri brings the meal to the table, Sage first sniffs, then looks over to her. "So...you not only fly, but you can cook too? Wonderful." While he speaks, Sage moves over to the table and looks around at the meal for a few moments, " I see you've made a good bit...are you planning on eating it all and adding some flesh to your bones, or did you intend for leftovers...or others to join you?"

A laugh escapes Irianna's throat as she motions for Sage to sit down. "Gads, do you really think I can eat that much? Where would I put it all?" She reaches to grab a cup, pours some tea, and hands it to Sage. "I noticed your arm a few minutes ago. I suppose you heal that fast using your ectoplasm or something?"

Sage chuckles, " well...kind of. From what I know of my race...and what I know of the mental arts...it makes it somewhat easier to heal my own wounds than those of others. And in truth, yes I did expect you to eat that much...I figured you stored it in your wings or something. But if it's really okay. Thanks, I will join you."
With a nod, Sage sits down and fills a plate with a portion of each thing, then nods to Iri, " So...how goes things for you?"

Irianna takes a moment to look at her wings, an odd expression on her face. As far as she knows, her anatomy just doesn't work that way. And was it just her, or did Sage just imply that he was in fact not human?
Deciding to push those matters aside, Irianna answers the question. "Pretty well, actually. And you deserve to hear what I did to get so banged up yesterday."
Between bits of the meal and sips of lightly sweetened tea, Irianna relates what happened before Reeve found the woman unconscious. She explains how her idea involved using the technique Sage taught her of making things stick to her body via chakra to attract air to her lungs and hold it there. After that, she spoke of how she mixed the air with her chakra, all the while reinforcing her respiratory system with still more chakra, let the mixture strengthen, and carefully released it in a steady breath.
"Didn't expect the results to be so powerful. On the other hand, I didn't realize at the time how much energy I put into it, either. What kept me from seriously injuring myself was monitoring the intake and release of air, to keep my lungs from bursting or collapsing, and setting myself against the tree with my wings outspread and out of the way, to keep myself from being tossed back or breaking the fragile bones under all these feathers. Only thing I didn't about was how much chakra I was using. I'm damn lucky I didn't use enough to kill myself."

As Sage eats and drinks, he listens to her story and nods a bit. When she finishes, he continues eating until he's done before saying, " maybe you should start smaller. it sounds like that technique may be within your grasp as a...last resort of sorts. A Death giving trump card that kills you to use. If you work on a less power using technique enough, I'm sure you'll get strong enough to use your chakra breath. However...at this time I would suggest using something with a lower requirement...perhaps a blade of chakra infused air? or maybe you could attempt to use the air to draw something towards you, or push it away. start with paper, and continue working until you can use the air to move more solid objects perhaps?"

A sheepish grin spread across Irianna's lips. "Yes, well, it seemed like a good idea at the time and I was feeling unusually eager to try it out. I almost always take a week or two to work every possible bug out of a technique." She takes a sip of tea, using the moment to think a little. Then she looks back up and says, "I'll take some time to come up with something a little less... life threatening. Brainstorming always helps me."

Sage nods a bit, and looks around, " doesn't look like anyone else is here...do you mind if I finish up the rest of this?"
it's been a while since I've been able to eat a truely full meal....still, if I ate like I used to I'd run out of cash in this crazy land of obscene food prices.

"Go for it! I made plenty so anyone who showed up could have all they wanted."
Finished with her own dinner, Irianna gets to her feet with her dishes in hand. She walks over to the sink, grabs a sponge, and starts to clean. Irianna says over her shoulder, "Tell me when you're done with that stuff and I'll clean and put everything away."

With a grin, Sage replies, " Oh, there wont be any need to clean it when I'm done..." As he speaks, Sage piles high all the foods on the table onto his one plate. After constructing a small tower of food, he then licks the remaining plates clean, then uses a thin layer of dissipating ectoplasm to remove his saliva, as well as any remaining stuff from the plates. After doing this, he begins to eat like a Demon. He takes mouth fulls the size of his own fist, chews twice, and swallows. Where he packs this food away...no one will ever know.

Curious as to what Sage meant, she looks over her shoulder again. That's when she witnesses Sage's version of licking a plate clean. Violet eyes widen and, though she tries to prevent it, Irianna begins to laugh once more. She brings the back of her wrist to her mouth in a poor attempt to stifle the sound. Irianna looks back at the seemingly starved man when she gets herself under control again.
"What can't you do with that ecto-stuff? I thought your Pancake Man act was weird, but that is bizarre."
As for Sage's eating habits, they don't even phase the winged woman. Her own manners can be immaculate, but only out of habit after years of discipline.

As he finished the final piece of food, Sage gulped, finished his cup of it's drink, and looked to Iri. After a few moments, he replied, "it can't ressurect people. well...actually...if they were a ghost, and I sculpted a body for them out of it, they could probably wear it like a suit....but they would still be dead."

"So you can do all but revive the dead. I've always been proud of my talents as a wind adept, but what you are capable of is really amazing." The woman shakes her head in thought. Red hair falls into her face only to be brushed away again. A moment later she puts her hands on her hips and says, "Well, I suppose it won't be much trouble for you to put the rest of those dishes away then. Personally, I have a dress to fix. This outfit is nice, but it's not my favorite, and I would certainly like to have my gown in decent condition." Turning on a heel, Irianna heads for the door, the long shirt swishing nicely around her hips with her movements. Just before leaving she turns to give Sage a two-fingered salute and a friendly wink. "Later." And she's on her way to her room.

Sage chuckled a bit and nodded to Iri as she walked off. After gathering up the plates and putting them away, he moved around the kitchen, gathering up two boxes of noodles, and a large pot. He filled the pot with water, and went about cooking the noodles.
As the noodles finished, he strained them over the sink, and set about covering them in various spices, many of which normal people probably wouldn't combine. As he finished, he put all the noodles onto a single plate, the one he had been using earlier. With this done, he began to eat once more....

Wolven Clow#2 Kataru was indeed, impressed as he continued to watch on, seeing that she was now fighting his clones. He didn't care much for them, since it took 0.1 % to make only 5, at his level anyways. His eyes narrowed, as he shook his head some, in order for his red spiky hair to fall down back into shape and cover his right eye and half of his cheek scar.
"You know...you aren't living up to my estimations, hence...I will still underestimate you." "Underestimating is what looses battles." Nami grunted, ducking a particularly vicious swing before dispensing of the clone who sent it. She was moving deeper into the tunnel and everytime she thought the darkness would swallow here a set of torches suddenly seemed to appear.
It didn't matter though. She was getting tired.
