"None, actually." She said, scratching just below her nose. She then yawned, quite big, and stretched before laying back all lazy like. She was tired, but only because of how relaxed she was. She wriggled her toes a bit in the water, then looked back to Sage. "A way will come to'yah. But... is Chakra not just... energy? Everything uses energy, so I dun see th' problem."

Sage shakes his head, and relaxes into the water a bit. He sits facing Yuki and on the opposite side of the Bath. " Not quite. Mental Arts require energy that is distilled directly from your mind and soul. Chakra is an energy created from body and mind, or body and soul, depending on how strong your mind is. If I were to assign abstract numbers to it, chakra would be 50% body energy, and 50% either soul or mental energy. Psi energy would be 80% mental energy, and 20% soul energy. In other words...I think the Guardian is trying to say that my body energy is linked to my memories..and that if I strengthen it too much, I'll be overpowered."

Sage shakes his head, " It just means I'll have to be doing the exercises I did when I was learning my Arts. It might cause some strange things to happen though. Ghosts seem to like the aura a psychic puts off when they're training...it's like candy...or drugs...or a fond memory. Seems to attract them like flies to...stuff that attracts flies."

"Is that a good, or bad thing?" She asked with a quirk of an eyebrow. Of course she believed in spirits. She HAD been to the spirit realm a few times... well, near her whole life. If he attracted them like flies, then it would just be easier to send them to 'heaven.'

Sage shrugs, " it depends...sometimes I get real fun people to talk to...then other times it winds up attracting murderous spirits. It's a real pain in the a** to try and fend off evil spirits when your only at half strength from training. It's one of the main reasons why there is a Master-Apprentice system for psychics...other than teaching that is. It's not so much that the powers are extremely time consuming to learn...but to practice them too much invites spirits that only a stronger psychic can battle successfully. If I were to rate myself at a ranking of 3, the average evil spirit would be a 1 or 2, however, after training, I would only be at around 1 or 2 anyway...so you can see how it would be problematic."

Reeve, not wanting to go back to the baths, yet really wanting to go back, decides it might be best to train a little. Using his control over energy, he summons various weapons from parts of the dojo, which begin to circle him ominously. As each one attacks, he dodges, parries, or blocks.

Yuki grimaced a bit, sitting up now. "I could help yah. I've working with spirits meself a bit. I can keep 'em away from yah while yah practice. Got nothin' better ta'do."

Sage smiled, " thanks...Later on in my training I should be able to handle the spirits that are attracted on my own...in truth, I'm supposed to be able to now. In any case, it's nice to know that I'll have some backup should one find it's way here...they're always such a pain in the a** to deal with. Always Moaning and Groaning and leaving the place they're in a shambles."

"Mmmh... you atract weird spirits then. The ones I've seen are either quite nice, attached to a building somehow, or are being quite bad and must be sent to Hell." She shrugged and looked about. "Strange."

Sage chuckles, " Bad would hardly describe the evil spirits...but the other description would fit the nice ones just fine. Back on my home plane, there was about an equal chance of encountering a good or bad spirit due to training. The good ones I would usually sit down and talk with...the bad ones were usually vanquished within moments by a beam of energy emanating from my mentor's fingertips."
((just a note: Sage isn't a quincy. but if yuki wants to think he is, it would be pretty funny. 3nodding ))

Sage shook his head, " do you know a way of breaking into alternate realities? If so, I'd love to learn it...My mentor told me I was forebade from returning until I could do so under my own power...which means that I eventually have to learn how to punch a hole in reality, stabilize it, and then find the right plane of existence."
As he spoke, Sage began wiggling his toes in the waters, and relaxed into the bath until he was up to his neck in the waters.

Sage blinked. He then replied," perhaps you could teach me how? and, if you could, could we do that as soon as possible?"
finding a planes walker...I didn't think it would be that easy...maybe there's a catch...like having to sacrifice the life of someone to learn how, or to even open the gate...if that's the case I'll have to pass...I'm a healer..not a killer.
