Well, I'm going to finish my senior year in HS first, then leave sometime in august to start school in September.

I'm trying, honestly I am, but my complete lack of experience, combined with a practical inability to get into town in the first place makes finding a job... troublesome.

Hmm...
Try opening up your hours. You'll be surprised how many opportunities will appear if you're willing to work nights and weekends.
It worked for me at least...
