"Let's face it, Shinzu... Masaraku may be the strongest but she's also the dumbest. All we have to do is sneak out while she's either occupied or not looking and we're good to go. She can track blood, so just make sure we aren't bleeding or anything when we go. It's easier than you think, Shinzu..." Batsu turnned his attention from the book and looked over at Shinzu. "... sensei." Batsu smirked and went back to reading.

Batsu groaned loudly. He hated the thought of having to bring Masaraku on the trip. "Fine, then she comes on the condition that she acts somewhat civilized or we ditch her. The last thing I want on the trip is having to hear her b***h there and back. The purpose of going on a vacation is to relax... and having to deal with her is anything but that.... ya know?"

"Alright, you can explain that to her then, besides you aren't the one who's likely to have to go to a swordmanship class with her. I am." Shinzu said with a lopsided grin and a shrug, the one thing he wanted to do was learn how to use the various weapons of the Samurai, and perhaps ride one of their horses.

Batsu side-eyed Shinzu swiftly before going back to reading. "Come on Shinzu, do you really think Masaraku will listen to me? I can't stand her and the feeling is mutual. The last thing she wants to hear is me saying I'm in charge of something and trying to act with authority. She'll either laugh it off or try to fight me and take over the trip. You've seen us several times before act like enemies and nothing is going to change that unless divine intervention takes place."

"Well possibly, I'll make sure you all end up on opposite parts of the boat, you'll only have to deal with her when actually walk to the Land of Iron. Really the biggest issue we'll have is traveling through the Land of Fire or Lightning, and then actually gain access into thier village or whatever." Shinzu said.

Batsu flipped the page and continued reading. "That's fine and dandy, Shinzu. I guess I have to suck it up and deal with her for the time being. I really want to get out of here, so if dealing with her is my ticket to the Land of Iron then I am going to redeem it and get what I can from it." Batsu, after finishing the book, slammed the material closed and sat up. "So... when are we going?"

Shinzu shrugged he really had no idea, he supposed they could ask the council, but even then it might be a while, they had just suffered an attack by the Umi Clan. "I wonder what Lord Mizukage's response will be to the Umi raid..." Shinzu said quietly, mostly to himself, as it dawned on him that they could very well face a full scale war for the first time in a very long time. "Anyway, why don't we have that second spar now? After you finish healing me of course."

Batsu rubbed his hands together in a rather dramatic fashion and the same green aura engulfed said hands. He then place the healing chakra on Shinzu's chest and went to healing his teammate. "Just a weapons spar, that's it."

"Fine all weapons, works for me." Shinzu said with a slight shrug as he made his way to his long discarded pile of weapons, and began to dawn them. Katana over his back, and folded Demon Wind Shuriken tied to his waist, Shinzu was a regular walking arsenal. "Any other special rules you want before I kick your butt, Batsu-Kun?" Shinzu said as stood straight up, all his weapons seeming to have no effect, despite their weight.
Reflex for who goes first: d20 (20) + Reflex (10) = Autosuccess
(Whoever has the highest relfex save, gets to go first. Ok go ahead and roll on the off chance you get 20, whoever has the highest Reflex stat with go in that case.)

Batsu took his bow in hand and made sure all his arrows were on hand before staring at Shinzu and straightening his posture. "Nope..."

If Batsu wanted a primarily ranged fight, then he'd get one, but Shinzu was not going to make it easy for him. Reaching back his grabbed his Fuma Shuriken, and in one swing he extended the shuriken and threw it at Batsu. With no time to wait Shinzu grabbed one of his smoke bombs and threw it done, bathing the area in smoke. Using the dual distraction of the giant Fuma shuriken, and the smoke bomb, Shinzu made for the rafters ont eh other side of the room.
Fuma Shuriken: Roll (14) + RAB (16) = 30 Hit
Stealth: Roll (2) + Stealth ( cool + Smoke Bomb (6) = 16

Batsu took the full force of the hit to his right leg. It wasn't that bad of a scratch, but it still hurt. Next thing he knew, though, smoke was in his eyes and Shinzu was gone. Meh, the boy lived for this type of thing. Amidst the smoke, Batsu scanned the are and saw his target sitting in the rafters. The boy just reached back, grabbed a couple of steel arrows and drew back his bow. He aimed dead on where Shinzu was sitting and released. With a smirk, he watched the arrows soar through the air, breaking through the smoke that Shinzu created.
