A dark figure moved from the shadow of a tree, red glowing eyes seeming to wink into existance from where they had not been before. A scent of earth and decay slipped outward marking the nature of this being. He stood in a form that each of them had possessed at some point with his glowing eyes staring upward towards the sky. The cool night air caressed his skin like the breath of a lover and awoke thoughts of pain and suffering. The desire that had always been within them shifted near the surface of their conciousness, a call to destruction like the siren's song of the most intimate of lovers filled the figure. Slowly he breathed out, the creature once called a man, once known as Shadow, and once as Ka'rinth. He looked at an area so familiar and at once so unknown before tilting his head and viewing the world in a wide variety of colors. Ka'rinth stretched slowly and turned in a seemingly random direction before walking slowly deeper into the shadowy woods. It still felt strange to be whole again, but he had realized immediately that his best chance on returning was to develop a new set of skills and to give up his old approaches to fighting. His thoughts were shielded as he began trying to plan the best way to advance his fighting style to a new level.

Ka'rinth paused beneath a large tree and turning extended claws from his fingers and toes before climbing the tree in rapid bursts. The glow of his eyes faded slightly as he perched on a tree limb and let his mind roam. Even though they had been made for the sole purpose of killing and causing pain, he and Shadow together did not have the same drive for power and destruction that they did apart. His mind was clear as he considered what truly set him apart from his brothers and what type of techniques would allow him to defeat them.

Ka'rinth was perched precariously on the branch of the tree he had spent the night brain storming in. His eyes were a soft glow as he muttered to himself irregularrly about transferrance, distance, and delay. He also seemed to be focused on the safety of something and wrapped up in the thought of hiding it. After a long night of thinking his eyes suddenly flared as a cruel smile crossed his lips and he whispered, Like poison, it's perfect! He twisted his body and dropped from the tree branch to land lightly on his feet before dropping into a kneeling position to disperse the force of the fall. If he truly wished to develop new skills he would need to resort to some extreme measures and to gain access to some information.
His eyes were a soft glow as he allowed both knees to rest on the ground before dropping his hands onto them and bowing his head. The seal will be easy enough if I can find the book Ser'fin borrowed from the master, but I need to harvest more souls and drop off the focus first. As he spoke he pushed himself up onto his feet slowly in a purposeful stretch to ease his legs into readiness after a long night of disuse. He then closed his eyes and began turning in a slow circle, his senses were sharpened as he tapped his version of spiritual sight to locate the nearest source of pain, suffering, and death that might indicate a war taking place on this continent or one of the islands off the coast.
Finally he detected something that was causing a relatively steady release of the energy he sought and melting into the ground shot towards it. His final thought before he left the realm of the Black Company was, It will take a week or so, but I will return to train and learn. The best way to grow strong is to become weak first, at least for my purposes.

Kuro cared for the child through the night, using small amounts of her own energy and coverting that energy into healing energy for the girl. When the girl would fret, Kuro would calmly lay a hand to the girl's forehead to relieve some of the pain.
Kuro didn't use alot of energy, something evil was brewing in the heart of the forest and she wanted enough energy to defend the surrounding area, if need be. Every once in awhile, when the girl's fever grew way too intense, Kuro would carry her to the water, just enough to cool her down so she would not overheat.
She would not sleep until the girl's fever broke and even after, there would be questions that would need answers.

Sighing softly as she ran a hand through her hair, to block out the bikering of her Young ones from her head, as she left them back at the Tower. However Damien walked with her as they were installing the trackers around the BC. carrying a large duffle bag along with Damien they stop in a darken clearing of trees, as she sets the bag down.
" Set it down there...I say we're what 10 kilometers away?.."
" Just about...so we're setting system one here?"
Damien asked as he lowered the bag beside hers and unzipped it, as he took out a smal, metal cylinder., and handed it to Sai
Sai took the cylinder and stepped over to the edge of the clearing and glanced at the roots of the trees. She removed her glove, revealing her Gaunlet hand as flashes of green and blue sparked. She knelt down onto her right knee as she faced the palm of her gaunlet onto the ground and small blast of blue energy shot into the ground, blasting a small hole big enough for the cylinder to slide into the ground perfectly. after placing the cylinder into the ground she. lefted the lid on the topside, and flipped a swtich. The cylinder Flared up in a green light that Shot up for Miles past the tallest of the trees. Sai stood up as the green light spread into a dome like shape and covered the whole area within a block radius.
" Damien check the Status..."
he had taken out a small laptop, big enough to fit his forearm. Typing in several Codes. he stopped and glanced at Sai.
" whats the SHD Code?"
" D.A.D.S"
Damien only glanced at her and nodded as he input the code. Once he hit enter the green light faded into a Light blue as it hit the ground and vanished, as the format of the clearing appeared on the amll screen.
" Got It...its up and running..."
" Alright Come on we got a few more Places to set them up at. I want this area under my watch...."

Yotsuba *She looked over at him when she finally finished compiling her thoughts, so she could try to make some sense* "Well, I guess the simplest way to put it would be to say that it's a soul detachment" *She started and seemed to think a moment more before speaking again* "When I think for a long period of time, or am given something to contemplate that rattles my brain, my soul just detaches and goes off while I'm stuck in thought mode. It's strange really, it never used to happen, but then it started to all of a sudden" *She shook her head remembering past occurrences* "My skin will turn blue, my eyes seem to loose all source of life and my body will go limp for the most part, but my body is amazingly still able to protect itself, though it takes a long while before it'll move, one hell of a live saving mechanism... I'll be dead before my body reacts" *She laughed in a saddened tone as she thought a little more about the last time it happened and what could've happened if he had not been there to wake her up from the nightmare of that detachment* (( yeah, I know, its been what? 3 months almost? sweatdrop )) Focht's ears twitched alittle at the faint noise from the direction of the Citadel but he didn't react much otherwise. It wasn't his concern at the moment, his mind on things other than what was happening that far away. "So I noticed....." With a wince, he shifted and lifted his left arm up enough so it was away from his body slightly. Closing his eyes, a circle of light formed around his left sholder, only slightly bigger than the diameter of his arm, seemingly forming into a solid disk. Slowly, it seemed to spin slightly and move along the arm, the burns disappearing as the disk passed. His muscles reformed and he managed to straighten out the arm as the disk continued to move along, giving off alot of energy as it healed the wound. It didn't quite give the same muscle definition that should have been there but that would change as his body adapted the new tissue. This process forced the body to heal itself at a highly accelerated rate, causing the injured area to feel like it was on fire from the heat generated by the rapid cell regeneration. "...... ouch.... remind me not to do that again anytime soon." Testing the newly healed arm, it moved slowly and clumsy compared to usual but it was better than nothing. It would need to be conditioned and strengthened before it would be of much use, but it moved and thats what mattered to him right now.

Ka'rinth had returned at last, his eyes were a soft reddish tint as though whatever normally fueled their burning appearence was gone. He turned slowly in a circle reaching out with his senses to insure no one was near at the moment. He made a complex seal with his hands while murmering softly before pressing his hands onto either side of his chest and saying, Seal of the dark wind hold me above the earth and strip me of it's nurturing. His hands flared softly and he felt many of the skills that he had devoloped over decades were locked away from his grasp. His body mirrored the seal as tribal markings like winds spread over his torso, finally he removed his hands and stopped the spread of the seal. He had left himself with only one of the earth based skills he had devoloped over his lifetime and as the energy of the seal settled into his skin, flesh, and spirit, he dropped to a sitting position. He was far weaker than he had been since the earliest years of his existance, but if the training paid off, it would be well worth it. Well brother, let us begin.

Ka'rinth stood slowly and looked around, it was unnerving to see the world while bereft of the extra senses that he normally possessed. His eyes were a soft red as he looked upward to gauge the sky and orient himself once more. Finally he turned and began walking through the forest saying softly, As always the fastest method of training is dealing with the devil. As he spoke most people familiar with the area would recognize that he was headed towards Mastema's citadel.

(Roughly 3mths Focht, tis sad. . . I think I've gotten rusty again sweatdrop )
*Yotsy looked at him without an emotion appearing on her face, she watched quietly as his arm healed. She sighed a little and stood up, then dusted herself off. She stood where she was for the moment while she continued to brush off her detachment and the long winded speech that followed it. Again letting out a small sigh she let her eyes sluggishly travel up to Focht's face, now more then ever showing some signs of life, and expression of unhappiness* "I know there are other things plaguing your mind, and yet 'So I noticed.....' Is all you can seem to muster up . . . even after you asked me about what happened. Typical . . . " *When she finished speaking her peace she had by now crossed her arms together over her chest and turned away from him. She progressed a couple steps, stopped, began to turn back towards him and stopped herself, then continued to pace forward some more*

(( you're rusty? xp ))
Focht looked up over at Yotsuba as she started walking away, getting up and dusting himself off alittle. He wasn't going to stop her from leaving or follow her.
"What did you want me to say? Its not like I need to tell you to be careful when it happens or what the risks are because you probably already know....."
With a sigh, he turned and headed for the boulder in the clearing he tended to prefer, part of him hoping she wouldn't get into any trouble on her own that she couldn't handle.

((Yes, I've gotten rusty. My Rp-ing isnt what it used to be))
*Yotsy didnt bother turning back to him, let alone show any feeling that she'd even listened to what he had to say. She continued to walk until she was unable to be seen and proceeded to climb up a tree, as she could normaly be found doing. Once she got seated on a high enough branch she looked towards the ground and let out a heavy sigh as she started to remember the last few times she'd been in some tree and happened to meet someone knew. She couldnt help but produce a laugh when she thought back to the first time she met Focht, and the other man that was with him* ". . . Shame . . ." *She let out a sigh once more and tired to relax, something she had not gotten to do in a long while*

Hayat walked silently amongst the trees of the forest. He bounced a small clear green gem back and forth between his hands. Occasionally rolling along the backside of his hand, then back into his fingers.
"What a wonderous item. It should help me stay alive a bit longer then my last life."
He again rolled it on the back of his hand, then let it slide into his coat pocket. He continued to walk along the forest's undrawn path, admiring the great beings that stood tall and proud. After a short while he drew cigarrette from his back pocket. Sticking it in his mouth he began to light it.
"Forgive me for this mother, but I'll make sure it cause you no harm."
Slowly inhaling the smoke, he stared up at the sky he could see through the forest's canopy. He rose his hand to it, making a gester as though he were grasping at something.
"Its a sad fact, that I cant be there."
Drooping his hand back to his side, he drew from the cig once again before continueing his walk amongst the trees.

Sai, sky and Snge walked into a small clearing as Sky grabbed Ange's hand and pulled her towards a patch of wild flowers. Sai smiled as she walked over to a shady spot under the oak tree and sat down. leaning back she closed her eyes as the laughter of her Childern sang in the wind.
" finally a moment to breath..."
She mumbled to herself.

Focht's ears twitched at the sound of laughter, it wasn't often that he heard a child's laugh and he hadn't heard it around the BC in a long time. Giving into the curiosity, Focht turned in that direction and started walking. He really didn't have much to worry about so he didn't hide his movements, but he did notice the familiar scent in the air.
