"No two swords can ever be exactly the same. No two swords ever should be. Each is his or her own, and a katana crafted to another's katana lives a half life at best, the soul of the katana bound to wander the world being used to imitate another... Besides, you are much too tall for a katana of this length." Megumi's eyes smiled slightly, noticing that the boy already had a dominant hand, and that it was natural to move his weapon to it. If he could ever learn a little more structure and a few more rules and traditions, he might be worthy of holding a katana... But he still had a good way to go.

((It's technically 'weekend break' rp-wise. xDD))
Irihi frowned. "Nyame-sama is our master blacksmith and can duplicate things with a glance..." His voice trailed off. "Megumi-sensei is right. A shinobi's weapon is their soul. Each one is unique." Irihi gestured to the heavy long-bow he held in his right hand. "And each reflects the warrior's spirit." A small smile. "That's why Nyame-sama measures her customers even for the standard weapons." There was no need to talk of the special weapons or the God's Legacy to one who would not be able to comprehend. "Besides..." A knowing wink. "There are...lots of weapons. I was bent on a nodachi for the longest time until Nyame-sama...well, eh..." A nodachi was an extremely long katana-like sword and was generally designed for mounted usage. Such a unwieldly, heavy weapon (though impressive) would not be very kind on the Hyuuga clan's famous speed.

Yamato listened to both of the two shinobi. He examined both of the weapons presented to him. "What weapon do you think is best suited for me? Also no thank you I'm not very Hungry." Yamato looked past the two and smiled at the baker to be nice. He slightly yawned and remembered something that he was going to ask after they had gotten done speaking about weapons.

"There's no telling. The weapon will find you, if you go searching for it, you'll find yourself lost. When you see the weapon that suits you, you will know. your very soul will cry out for it. Your entire body will feel as if it is missing a piece from the moment you let it go. There is no other way to describe it. Now, we should get some food before my friends here starve to death and/or the forest dies of old age." Megumi stepped forward, looking around at all the food. Why look? You're not going to eat any of it.You would think you, the king of all liars would know that it is important to at least pretend to be normal.

Yamato nodded listening to what Megumi Sensei said. "That food sure does look good." Yamato said. He looked at all of the Breaded treats. "I would have one but there too fattening. Boy would it be scary to be fat. " He made a nasty looking face picturing himself being fat. "That would be horrible" "Tell me this before I join. Is it hard being a Ninja?" Yamato asked.

"Hn." Irihi grinned softly at the other boy, amused that a Student would be so interested in weapons already. "Sometime when I'm free then, I'll take you to the weapons store to meet Nyame-sama." Irihi wanted a sweet bun with cream...apparently giving no consideration whether it's fattening or not. Hyuugas did have excellent metabolism, though for some odd reason they still chose to abstain from material excess...the Senju love for alcohol, for example. "Being a shinobi?" Irihi cast an odd glance in Yamato's direction. "You're one, that's why you attend the Academy. To hone existing talents."

Megumi looked over his/her right shoulder, and his/her face bore a sharpness that was not visible from any other view. The right ear was more pointed, the right eye slightly more slanted, and what was visible of the cheek was shallower, with the cheekbone slightly more prominent. It looked like an animal had influenced his/her features. "Kid. Life is hard. The only thing you do as a shinobi is make it harder for yourself. The life of a shinobi is wrought with danger, flooded with hate, and dipped in liquid fear. There is nothing in this world harder than taking on the role of a shinobi, and the material rewards are less than compensating. However much pain, hate and death may befall you, you must always remember that there can only be so much hate and fear in the world. By assuming the role of a shinobi, you are taking this upon yourself and sparing it of others. Yes. Being a shinobi is hard, but if the difficulty of the lifestyle is what pervades your mind, then stay away from it, and choose while you can to spare yourself the hardship.Megumi blinked and smiled again "Go ahead, grab what you want, Irihi, you and Lailah will need the energy. And you, kid, grab something, unless you prefer meat.

((Okay seriously when is the Academy gonna be open? Why is it even postponed in the first place?))
Yamato looked at the woman then turned back around and faced the baker with a scared look on his face. Yamato wasn't hesitant to grab at the food that was presented to him. "Thanks Megumi sensei." Yamato said as he picked at the food like he hadn't eaten in days. ".. Hopefully I don't get fat. That lady kinda scares me." "Irihi are you gonna eat anything or just stand there?" Yamato smiled and turned back around to the food.

Megumi handed the cook payment for whatever the children wanted, and a little extra to keep the books heavy. Giving a soft smile, Megumi excused him/her self and, grabbing what amounted to a burrito shell, proceeded to the butcher shop, selecting a nice steak for Lailah and another, raw, for him/herself. This Megumi wrapped in the bread, and returned to the bakery, holding the package with Lailah's steak out to Irihi, making sure that the raw steak that he/she had was hidden in its wrap. Eventually Irihi's nose would be able to pick it out, but not yet, and Lailah would be more concerned with her own steak. "Because not everyone likes bakery goods, here's a meal for Lailah." Giving another small smile, Megumi took his/her own wrap and used an extremely dumbed down version of the Mythical Fire phoenix technique to warm it up to about what it was when it was fresh off the bone. There was no visible effect on the wrap, but he/she had had to make a few handseals, which were hidden from view by his/her jacket, and weren't seen by the children.

((I am fixing up the village right now, should have the Academy up by tomorrow. =3))
Irihi did want a cream bun.
Key word: did.
And he did get his cream bun.
They left the bakery, Irihi absent-mindedly following Megumi and Yamato to the butcher shop. Except Lailah's preoffered choice for lunch just seemed much more appetizing. Inuzuka instinct took over and before Megumi would know it, the two started fighting among themselves for the meat. Lailah, being smaller and more agile, of course won. And with a haughty toss of her head, she displayed her backside to her master again...an occasional sniff or two of disdain.
Irihi sighed barely audibly, contenting himself with the cream bun.

Megumi laughed and snuck back into the butcher's. Grabbing and paying for two more steaks before anyone could complain (if they even noticed), he/she walked back out, hiding them until he/she drew even with Irihi. The aroma of cooked meat hung from the breeze as the clouds in the sky, and Megumi slipped his/her wrap into a pocket on the inside of his/her sleeve, so that no one would notice the difference in smells. "Now, what am I going to do with this? I can't just carry it... I don't really want to throw it away... But... I mean, you've got a cream bun. I can't imagine you wanting anything like a juicy, chewy steak... I guess I will just have to throw it out."

If Nyame was here, she certainly would've popped a vein.
But thing was, she wasn't here...so all self-dignity forgotten the half Inuzuka let out an answering 'woof!' before nodding fervently, with what should've been a cute expression on a young child...or more accurately, the visage of a happy pet right before being told doing tricks would be rewarded with treats. If Irihi had a tail like Lailah, the same set appendage would probably be wagging furiously now. Passing villagers stared oddly, there were a couple of whispers remotely sounding like 'was an Inuzuka Student practicing Henge?'

Ah, well, I suppose it's garbage, then." Megumi tossed the steak nonchalantly into the air, letting it pass directly in front of Irihi on its flight path. Megumi had turned at the same time, and had begun walking towards the library, stashing the other cooked steak for a rainy day. Hearing one of the whispers, Megumi -in one fluid motion- flipped his/her hair over the left half of his/her face, unbuttoned the collar to the trenchcoat he/she was wearing, and shunshin'd in front of the man who said it. "What's the matter? Never seen a kid before? Or are children just not allowed to be children in this day and age?" Megumi returned to his/her original position, appearance, and pace at almost the exact same instant, continuing forward as though nothing had happened.

When the steak went flying, so did Irihi...and Lailah too, who had apparently finished hers in a few gulps. This time, it was Irihi who beat Lailah to the steak. Though initially unwilling to share, as Irihi's vindicative expression clearly said, he eventually gave in to Lailah's, large sad ruby eyes. So he shared half and half with her. Lailah seemed rather taken aback by the sudden gesture of generosity too but was more than happy to take the deliciously finished steak. Meanwhile, the man in the crowd to whom Megumi spoke to instantly froze and shook his head 'no'. What's up with the Jounins of the village these days and being so...protective of their charges...

Megumi continued walking at a leisurely gait, never altering his/her pace and finishing off his/her wrap under his/her collar, to hide the raw meat from outside view. Soon, Megumi saw the library and stopped to allow Irihi and Lailah to catch up. Megumi looked just like a civilian, the jacket hid the headband and Megumi once again looked sexually ambiguous, but seemed to be watching straight forward, lost in the wasteland that a mind can become after such a time as Megumi had endured. Megumi's face had a calm, relaxed expression, and belied no troubled emotions.
