By now Dark had finished loading the cargo with the rest of the group. The captain yells a few things, blows a whistle and the ship begins moving.
Misery appears before Michael and Caesar, who missed the boat because having a post to just make everyone get ready to leave would be a waste of time, and pushes up on her small reading glasses. "...." She teleports them onto the ship, behind a few containers so no one would notice.
"Seems everything is going smoothly." Dark thinks to himself as he grins. "Didn't think it would be this easy." He then spots two of the crew members mumble something to each other and walk off. Dark raises an eyebrow out of curiosity as he follows them in the shadows.

Michael and Caesar were not expecting the teleport and when they landed Caesar ran for the edge of the boat and heaved his guts out. Michael on the other hand thanked Misery and went to find Dark. After he finished puking Caesar ran after Michael to find Dark as well. "Hey Dark where are you? We need to speak with you."

It didn't take too terribly long for Allen to find the documentation for the ship's departure from Anistar City and what they were taking in the cargo, which all took pictures of and recorded some of the info to send with the pictures. He read through the information, especially info regarding crew members. He read through the names and numbers. there were a very few that seemed not to have been counted in some way. He snapped a few pictures before turning to the woman, "You check each and every document that goes into these cabinets, right?"
"Unfortunately." She rolled her eyes, but kept facing her work.
"Then how is the crew count higher than the list of names here?" He turned to look back at the paper and just like that she was on it, reading like lightening through the info.
"I haven't seen this one." Allen tapped out that bit into his TADS before sending everything off to Dark.

Rei paced across the dock. How was he supposed to protect the ship from outside sources if the ship was in the sea? Outside sources could be anywhere!
He looked at his Zubat. "See anything?" The Zubat shook her head. Nothing new yet. He sighed. I hope I'm not missing anything too terribly important.

Caleb waited quietly with his Marshtomp on top of the containers. His Marshtomp looked quite bored.
"Well this is turning out better than I expected..." Caleb muttered. Hanging out on a ship just sitting around, what a nice way to spend the day. His Marshtomp glanced at him.
Then they both stopped and stared, blinking a bit as they heard noise below them. There was clearly whispering.
"This kid needs to shut up and stop talking to his pokemon...get some real friends I swear..."
"Shhhh! You need to keep your voice down too idiot!"
"Both of you need to stop or else I swear I'm gonna-mmmf!"
The whispers finally got too quiet for Caleb to hear. Caleb glanced around. Nobody seemed to be around. Then he looked down at the container he was sitting on.
Oh.
He quickly pulled his TADs out and sent a message to Dark, explaining what he had just discovered. There were people hiding in the containers.
"Pokemon can be friends too..." Caleb grumbled.

Dark abandons the couple he was following after learning they were just sneaking off to keep each other occupied for the long trip. He shakes his head, trying to get the image out before Michael and Caesar run up to him. "Okay, what's up?" He asks the two. He's then interrupted by his phone going off. He checks Caleb's message and sends him one back. Secure the crate with something to make sure it can't be opened at all from the inside. That way we won't have to worry about them for the rest of the trip. He then looks up and scratches his head. "Did I forget about someone...?"
Meanwhile on the docks; someone nearby Rei is talking about the ship captain's crazy ex. Apparently she really likes fish and hates boats. Especially the Captain's boat. That two-timing son of a Bulbasaur.

Michael and Caesar waited until Dark finished his message and then told him about the stuff being slipped into the crates and the ones being marked by certain people. When they finished Michael asked. "So what should we do Dark, sir?"

Upon hearing the tale of the crazy ex, Rei grimaced. He spun around to face the ship.
"Oh, crap... That's no good..." Using his TADS, he sent a quick heads-up to Dark.
"No wonder we were hired to protect the ship. Make enough enemies, and you're bound to be paranoid."

"Sounds like a plan...." Caleb muttered after getting a reply back.
"NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD" someone below him shouted.
"Oi! Richard you dumbass!" someone scolded them. Then a scuffle broke out. Sounds like Richard was getting his incompetent butt whooped.
Caleb pursed his lips. He and his Marshtomp carefully climbed down before searching for something to barricade the door of the container. It'd be simple enough to just push the container doors against something else, but that'd probably make a bunch of noise. Caleb jumped when he heard a rattling sound. He turned around to see his Marshtomp holding up chains.
"Nice..." Caleb said, giving him the thumbs-up. Together they chained up the crate door handles. Caleb made sure the chain was secured before looking over his handy work.
"Whose the nerd now...?" Caleb huffed under his breath.
"Still you-OW! What? He obviously knows we're in here by-ow!"
"Doesn't mean you have to keep yapping!" hissed someone else.
Caleb just sighed. This guard job just somehow turned into babysitting didn't it?

Kara and Dax (her Froakie) plodded onto the docks, confused as to their whereabouts. They had simply asked where they should go for their first assignment, and an Aquan had pointed them in this direction. The pair approached a man and his zubat, trying not to be too intrusive. "Excuse me, sir," she began, "Do you happen to know if there's anyone from.... er, Team Aqua, around here? I'm just curious."

Rei turned his head to the speaker.
"Oh. Hello there," he said, mild surprise etched on his face. "Good timing. Or perhaps, poor timing. Can't exactly figure out which at this point. What I mean to say is, I'm an Aquan. What do you need?"

Kara couldn't stop a big smile from spreading on her face. "Thank goodness! Well, I'm new and was told that I should come here to help out... With what, I don't exactly know. But, if there's anything that I can do, Dax and I would love to offer our assistance!" In response to the proposal, Dax croaked loudly and excitedly.

Misery appears before the two on the dock. She was still dressed up as a secretary, which makes no sense as you will soon learn why. She hands Kara a clipboard with a few sheets of paper on them before pushing her glasses up again. "(I'd give you some information on what I was handing you but I can't read. I'm a Pokemon.)"She speaks to Kara telepathically before turning to Rei. "(Anyway it's time for you two to join the others.)" And in a flash of light the two of them find themselves on the cargo ship.
Most of the stuff on the clipboard is just technical jargon. But you could understand "Welcome to Team Aqua. Sorry we're in the middle of something right now. Just follow along with a superior and things will be fine. We never lose."
"You guys should switch the packages when no one is looking." Dark responds to Michael and Caesar. "It might get us a lead on whose trying to get the Goods." He then reads Rei's message but decides to ignore it. He doesn't feel that that information is relevant.

The Aquan smiled at the enthusiastic duo.
"Well, you're more than welcome to join me on this mission. I was tasked with guarding the place from outsiders and Team Flare. Help would be most appreciated." Further communication was interrupted as Misery appeared before the two and teleported them to the ship.
Rei clutched his stomach; he wasn't completely used to teleportation yet.
"Well, let's be on the lookout," he said to Kara. Rei's Zubat flew off to continue her search for suspicious activity.

Kara took the clipboard, quickly reading over its contents (skimming, mostly, since a large part of it was not easy to understand) and smiling briefly. It did seem that she had come at an unfortunate time, but she would do her best to be of use to the team. And suddenly, the four were teleported onto the ship. Kara had never been teleported before, and neither had Dax. The frightened Froakie quickly jumped into his trainer's arms and cowered, though they both quickly realized that they were fine.
Kara turned to the man and nodded. "That sounds fine." As they stood, she added as a sidenote: "My name is Kara, by the way. And like I mentioned before, this is Dax. What is yours?" As she talked, she kept looking out for any trouble.
