You're probably not as far behind as I am. I never watched or read any of the Alice related books/movies since I grew up watching dubbed asian dramas. My eldest brother introduces me to video games, and I then move on to online stuff. My little knowledge of Alice is from temporary parodies/crossovers with whatever anime and its characters. ...Lol. We had this conversation before (Disney movies). xD
So there's the rabbit and the hare. Ace could be the white rabbit since he lacks a backbone, but there's no relationship to be had with Mrs. Puppet (yet, anyway). Ace could be the hare since he "cooks", does spend time with Alex, and I guess "mad" would count since everyone in circuses have something wrong with them anyway... Problem is that we don't have the white king, since he seems to be pretty a important figure.
I need to read more into Alice on wiki. There has to be someone that'll neatly represents the other OCs.

I'd say go watch the animated Disney version from the 50's..but it kinda mashes both books up in a weird way. But you can get a general idea from it.
Both of the American McGee's Alice games take place some time after Through the Looking Glass, as does Tim Burton's Alice. I suppose you could get a feel for the characters with those, but American McGee's Alice characters are a lot more twisted (because Alice is kind of losing her mind because of a traumatic event.)
There are plenty of other adaptations, though those are all the ones I've seen. XD American McGee's Alice games are probably my favorite, though.

From what I read about White Queen, Iris' too happy sunshine and rainbows for the role. xD
Hm... Iyokou could be the knave because he always seem to be agitated somehow. Iris, Eli, and someone could go for the birds that went somewhere. Don't know why, but reading the mocking turtle one reminds me of Sil or Icarus since they tell their stories. >w>;

Eh, I shouldn't rely too much of the info on the wiki anyway. Card's an expert on Alice story(ies), right? In this guild, anyway. It must be hard to choose since a lot of the OCs are more happy than mad (though still messed up). xD

Oh my gosh yay I found another Growlithe. ;A; I'm so happy because the one I had earlier died (fainted, but since I'm doing the Nuzlocke challenge, if they faint they're dead) and I was really really missing him. AndawhehasaBashfulnature.<3

Nuzlocke...? -googles- Oh, should've known it's a version I haven't played yet (if I ever will). I wish those natures does more to the pokemon than just increase/decrease stats. Guess it's too much data to handle for a handheld system.
I think Card's the one who knows the most. Unless the person who knows more hasn't participated as much. >w>;

Nuzlocke is a set of rules you can add to any Pokemon game.
1. If the Pokemon faints its dead. Can't use it again. Either release it or permanently box it.
2. You can only catch the first Pokemon you encounter on each route. (My Nuzlocke has a no duplicate clause though. So if I run into a Pokemon I've already caught, I have a second chance to get a new one. If the second one is a duplicate, I have to move on and not catch a Pokemon on that route.)
Right now I'm Nuzlocking FireRed. Afterwards I want to Nuzlocke HeartGold (since there's no way I'm restarting on my SS. I <3 my team on SS.) then Emerald, then Diamond.

And the White King does not have any real role. The only thing he does do is read the Jabberwocky poem in the beginning of the second book.
But there is also the White Knight in the second book. He's a very quirky person and I forgot who I was going to compare him with.
