I am doing a small community tank.
I set up a 10 and put goldfish in to cycle the tank. When I went to get more fish I decided I needed a bigger tank and set my 55 up again. My fish grew up so fast sad The poor goldfish got huge and I think I may have to buy them a bigger tank now.

Goldfish carry a HUGE bioload.
One fancy goldfish needs 29 gallons to grow properly.
Just one.
Comets (feeders) only need about 2 gallons per inch.
Not only that, but they are cold water.
They do not go well with many fish.
I am doing:
4 cherry shrimp.
3 Harlequin Raspboras
1 Drawf Groumi
3 Rummy nose tetras
Good tank variety, and every level of the tank will have a fish to feed there.

rainbow shark
iridescent shark
4 tiger bards
4 rosey barbs
2 blood fin tetras
3 painted tetras
4 black neons
2 algae eaters
1 snail
and 2 fish that hang out at the top of the tank and eat anything smaller than them... I forget what they are called. They just looked cool at the petshop lol.
My gouramis all died on me. I had 2 sunset, 2 gold, 2 blue and 2 honey... I can't seem to keep them alive!
