Welcome back Krystaline. Also, welcome to the Refuge. :]
I have to agree with you there, Yoder. Final Fantasy VII is a really confusing game, and even now I have trouble understanding it. I mean, what the hell was up with Nibelheim? I still don't understand how it was reconstructed to be exactly the same. =p

It wasn't reconstructed . . . just never changed all that much. Without a lot of growth from the residents, things won't change much.

I seem to be the only one here who's favorite is IX. I know it was rather cutsie, but it was fun to play. Though I also enjoyed VI, VIII, and X, and XII. (My TV screen was two small when I had VII, I couldn't see anything so I sold the game.)
I was really stupid and bought X-2. Then, after I bought it, someone told me it was scanktastic. sigh. I wish she had told me before I bought it.

But Magni, don't you remember that Nibelheim was burned down? Sephiroth totally destroyed it. I was curious as to how it was rebuilt exactly the same after the fire and Sephiroth.

I got my brother number three on the DS for christmas. My favourite is eight.
Also, dont know if anyone else has noticed this but that new Square-Enix rpg is basically just reusing the art style and character design from number twelve.

I remember the fire, but only in the major part of Nibelheim. Perhaps they just repaired what was burned? Logically, I understand that the game developers just didn't want to re-make the city. Call it a glitch, or laziness. ^_^
Edit: Eight was alright except for the entire magic system. I HATED drawing all the spells. Then, I dared not to use them as spells . . . like pain. I love that spell, but after drawing a hundred of the buggers, I just attached it to my attack stat and hoped for the best.
