The games were mediocre, but at least provided the sensation of piloting those veratechs and cyclones, ne?

*eyeroll* Yeah, the Gaia economy is in an eternal nosedive right now. I thought certain actions indicated they might be trying to fix it, but then 1 few months later I come across 1 billion gold so easily (old MC I didn't like or want happened to be worth a ton) only to discover all the item values shot up such that i billion isn't enough for anything I want.

I still hold to the idea that all gold values need to be divided by at least 1000. Trillions become billions, billions to millions, etc. I'd do more, but there we are. I just think that values need to be brought down and the simplest way is to say Values lost by X amount. ALL gold divided by X amount, across the board. Values of items, totals of gold in accounts, everything.
A rule that is not universally applied is not a rule. That is a privilege.

Yes, I very much agree with that idea. Heck, since most developed nations have enormous national debts, often to each other, why doesn't everybody reconcile the amounts they equally owe so that we can see the actual national debt?
Nice of Gaia to honor Monty Oum's death with a RWBY item (the sniper scythe in the latest Staff Alert, of which I'm wearing the red petal pose).

You won't be devalued at all. I only barely know of him, but I enjoy and respect his flair for fight/action scenes. He's the creator of Red VS Blue (not a fan, personally) as well as the pseudo-anime RWBY (the story of which will unfortunately never be concluded), which I enjoyed a good bit. If you want a feel for RWBY, he released teasers for each of the 4 main cast prior to the series starting: http://rwby.wikia.com/wiki/Trailers

True, the character trailers do lack context. While I can't follow modern cinema fight scenes, I am able to follow anime-style fight scenes, which RWBY uses.
For a little context, RWBY, pronounced Ruby, is about 4 girls, each associated with a color: Red, White, Black, and Yellow. They are also very loosely based off of Red Riding Hood, Snow White, The Ugly Duckling, and Goldilocks, respectively. They all have magitech weaponry and attend a school dedicated to training with that gear.

My older daughter was watching it when I came home from work today, and I watched a few minutes of it . . . granted there were no fight scenes, but to be fair- I was unimpressed.
