I was starting to wonder if I missed some kind of Tea absence memo only the cool kids got.
Sweets- if such a memo existed- you would have been on that list.
I've been "Spring Cleaning" for about a month now.
I consolidated my "Magical Bookshelves" into one. For those who have been here before and remember the collection by the hearth- it is now completely contained on one of the smaller shelves (the one that used to hold all the RPG stuff by and by).
I'm currently on a couple different detox programs and my household is going organic.
This is for a few reasons. I usually do this in the spring to shift my body from running on the large amounts of hot protein that I eat during the winter in order to shift my mood and focus towards the lighter tastes of fresh foods available in spring, summer and autumn.
I'm also hitting the Spa this coming weekend and I've been rather contemplative.
The orange/brown sofa of doom that has served people well since the seventies is no more and the green pseudo-recliner has gone the way of the do-do too. (Really! I swear a bunch of hungry sailors malled it with forks and knives because they thought it was easy prey!)
I'm shampooing the carpets, washing everything that is made with cloth (Wing and Fiddler- you're clothes, towels and blankets are being washed as well)
So- news flash, Tea sucks at cleaning house.
The only thing that keeps me on task is a kind of repetitive mantra/moving meditation wherein every time I put something away (be that a shelf or in the garbage) I remind myself that the little action performed just told my Hubby I love him.
That... and music. Lots and lots of music. Well... to be more accurate- really only 12 songs played over and over and over and over and over again until most people would like to strangle me.
sweatdrop I also have been singing one song out loud (note- I'm darn near tone deaf) that is based on
this.
What can I say? I love
Casey NeilSunday is Easter Dinner at RCR.
I'm a little frazzled because besides Pashka and bread, I'm not sure what to make! I'm sure I'll figure it out. Likely either lamb or salmon.
