Oh, yeah. Kyo's hip sway. heart

At the show I saw he ran his hand upwards from his side, I believe it was. It's hard to remember for sure now, over a day later.

So, I could be a little off.

To Ala: I was paying attention to Kyo at Chicago's live to see what you are talking about. It is kinda different, like you said, yet still the same. By that I mean, it still has that -KYO- feeling to it...
Apparently though, my reaction was different than yours, but still a good feeling none the less.
I did not laugh at him, just simply smiled from happiness.

It was definately nice to see him dancing his little dances again.
And his hair was curled up some, which he hasn't done much for quite a while.

The performance all together made me much happier. Great uplift from my ill feelings! biggrin

And hey to Aruchan!! You're gonna be so damn happy/hyper/crazed when they go to europe!

His dancing really made me happy. But that's only one thing about his dancing.

I like his hair how it is now. smile

I remember these Deftones fans next to me not moving at all when they were performing. just stood there.
but when kyo did his little dance, they got smiles on their faces.
:]

i was happy.

i loved it when he pointed and waved to some fans. biggrin

I can't speak about all Deftones fans. But a few were into Diru. But it was just annoying moshing. So, I don't think it was cause it's Diru.

I don't think Kyo did that on Sunday. I didn't see him do that, anyway. cry

omg.

I thought I was fight some deftones kid in Grand Rapids. He comes to the back of the line and says, "All these people better be here for Deftones not some Japanese fags."

I wanted to punch him in the face so bad.

SO BAD. scream

I met some deftones fans inside that were very nice, though. <3 I let them have my place up front after Diru left.

I was at Grand Rapids, too! That is disappointing to hear, about that Deftones fan. But it seemed to me that Diru got a good response from the crowd.

Wasn't it awesome how small the venue was? My friends and I drove past it like a hundredbillion times.

That was horrible! I was staying at the Comfort Inn maybe half a mile down 28th and I couldn't find the place for the life of me! I had to have some guy from the grocery store take me over there because when he tried to explain where it was I just stared at him and said I'm from Detroit. Thank god he was listening in on my conversation because the man I asked for directions didn't even speak English. gonk

But yeah, anyway, guy from grocery store said it used to be an old movie theatre and they kind of just cleared it out. That's why it was so small. I liked the interior, but Jesus Christ, ya think they could've at least put a sign up or something, right?

Oh, I know. It was so nervous-making. My friends and I had driven there from Detroit and we were flippin' out. When we saw it we were like, "In a goddamn strip mall? WTH?!"

We should have stayed in a hotel or something. But we had finals the next day + no money.

My friend was so tired on the drive home, she almost killed us by DRIVING ON THE BURN! Dx But at the time I was feeling so euphoric and tired I just laughed my a** off.

Oh, I was totally expecting the mall because on the website it said it was in there, just follow the signs to the mall.

Hotel was probably the best idea I've had all year. Originally we were going to drive all the way there an dall the way back, but we roomed 3 people for only $80. <3 And the hotel had cinema movies on there so we watched Dir en grey, came back to our room and watched 300 [I almost died of a heart attack].

Our drive up there wasn't bad either. I live right off 96 so it was pretty much a one way road there and back. I probably would've gotten us killed on the way home, though. I was so happy. I got on the rail in front of Die and when we left I didn't care about anything in the world. We went into a Wendy's and I'm pretty sure I scared all the people in there half to death I said so many weird things. Something involved someone robbing the Wendy's and me not even caring because I was so damn happy.

But yeah, anyway. Do you know what the deal was with all the recording-signs? Were they recording recording it or was that just for the camera people they had running around up front?

Oh, we're dumbasses so we just got the address off ticketmaster and didn't bother going to the website. So our GPS was all, "Route guidance is complete." And we were all, "That's nice. Where are we?"

I was right in front of Die, too! We were probably, like, right next to eachother. After the live, though, we didn't scare anyone. The drive-thru lady at McDonalds looked at me like I was high, though, because I couldn't stop laughing. Then the people in the gas station looked at me like I was high 'cause I all stumbly.

As for the recording-ness, there was a guy who was in a youtube shirt and I asked if he was recording Diru and he said, "No, they have their own people." He didn't know what they were recording for, though. I guess another DVD?

Oh! Do you know who that guy was, with the long hair? He was at Detroit, too. His hair was really long, and a little grey. When I saw him, he was always on his cellphone. He was wearing a Diru shirt. Is he, like, with Diru? Or just some weird old guy?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 24, 2007 4:21 pm

D:> I have no idea. The youtube guy was taking pictures when Diru was on stage, though, wasn't he? I thought I saw him slinking around.

I hope we're on a dvd.

I would be so psyched.

/: And I have no idea what old guy you're talking about? Where was he at?
