Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I don't know about the rest of you but I'm stuffed and now trying to cure a belly ache. It was worth it rofl
@ the Announcement: You really brought up a good point Waffle. Before we didn't have anything planned just kinda went along with things. The first mission was real short but it allowed us to play with each other.
Now I'm not the one to stop anyone from writing until their hearts desires, but maybe the EPIC posts might be getting out of hand. When each of us were only writing a sentence or two there was more room to play off each other. Mostly cause the point was reached faster and things weren't so set in stone. Its one thing to epic post when your character is alone in their room or your writing dialogue between two characters but to do huge back story all the time can get a little daunting.
Could be taking that out of context sweatdrop Another good point was the whole being scared to post. Really? Are you Scared? Post! This is suppose to be fun! Relax we are very nice elves.
@ Nari: Nice to hear and I would like to know a little more about this dream date. biggrin

@ Pen: You did take it out of context, but at the same time you just pointed out one big way we could adjust the RP. I hate time skipping because people whine if I do or if I don't, so I get forced to cram everything into a single post. Last two posts of mine are obvious examples.
Sure, throwing in the limits on epic posts might 'slow down' the timeline, but it provides enough flexibility to make up for it. The time it takes to finish arcs and missions could be spent with epic posts and widespread writers' block, or it could crawl along steadily with no trouble whatsoever.

kdgalaxy @Angelo: "Puffy Muffy just casted Blizzara!" ... BRAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA My mother named her that! XD Because she was a really puffy when she was smaller! The muffin I have NO idea where that came from! :3 Plus, it suits her! XD @ About the 'throwing out the arc system': I personally wouldn't mind- I mean, it beats waiting around for the Arc-writer in question to post something. :3

I like it too. Takes the pressure off certain people too who have to create the arcs. But the whole tiny "plot discussions" might be something we should keep. Like how we discussed going to the beach and such. Not exactly arcs just ideas where we like to go next.

@ Pen: I agree with you and Jay about this whole thing.
Anyone else in favour of throwing out Arcs all-together (after Pen and Jay's next Arc)?

Because turkey, four dinner rolls, an iron supplement, and half a plate of mashed potatoes wasn't enough to knock me out, I guess I'll take advantage of everyone else's conked-out state to post until I pass out. :3
To clarify on the arc abolishment: There'll still be room for 'character arcs', but they just won't be a substitute for the plot anymore. Keep the cinnamon cake analogy in mind. :3

Sorry for not coming sooner...I was standing out in the cold waiting for balloons to pass, then going to a party, and finally helping to cook. {It was another form of parental torture and the turkey didn't want to cook fully!}
Anyway, I don't really know what the old days were like. I look back at early post and stuff. I guess it would be okay, just so long as we don't give up quality for speed. I can cut my normal post size in half, if there is more going on. I just don't want to see a sentence with quotation marks and the words s/he said. Having that be the end of the post. It makes thing kinda dull...
Other than that, I don't mind at all.

Obviously I couldn't post anything earlier. Mum had to wake up. -_-
@ Aly: Some of us were really rusty with our RP skills when we first started out, and I'm not sure what you mean by sacrificing quality for speed. What do you call 'quality' anyway? Large posts? Size != quality, and we only saved one-liner posts as a last resort, not the norm. Coherence? We ALWAYS have had legible posts. Detail? I can agree with detail for sure, but it's just as possible to go further into detail with smaller, quicker posts than it is with massive, slower posts. The latter kinds of posts were saved for ends of missions, epic fights, backstory reveals, etc.
@ Styk: Lol. New questing item much?

@Styk: I'm loving the recolors! If I wasn't such a poor little snot I would totally get one!
As far as Arcs go...I'm cool with whatever ya'll come up with. I wouldn't know where to begin.
And as a small note concerning my rp: It'll be finished and ready to go as soon as we get a few more characters posted.

Waffle, I didn't mean that. I've been in guilds where they have a wall of text, it takes up half a page. Giving you nothing, but a lot of letters. So no, I don't think size-quality. I've read the Waste Land, poem takes about 46 pages in total. Yet, is amazing and so rich. So I know, size doesn't equal quality.
