For the record Kyle, no Lobo is not a League member. And I joined up with Hal and Dinah after helping them find Red Tornado.+ *sits at the computer and goes on monitor duty.

Lobo was a part of the Justice League in JLU when it was thought that Superman was killed. He volunteered himself, natch.
Hawkgirl (from what I remember) was the only one that could keep him in check.

Wow, its been a long time since I stalked these halls.
My Colts have suffered two losses in a row. Tough I know, but Im hanging with them, as Ive done since 1998. This week at the RCA Dome against Kansas City should be an easy win.
You know, a while back, I ranted and railed against the movie Superman Returns. A lot of people criticized me about it, for many different reasons. Now, quite some time after its release, those people have thought otherwise. The movie wasnt the hit they thought it would be. Most people who saw it, after marinating on it for a while, realized that it really wasnt all that good, for whatever reason.
Reasons I laid out before the movie even released.
So, whats the news on the sequel?

Still haven't seen it. I have one friend who really liked it, and another who said it should have been renamed "Superman Lifts Things."
Sequel's on hold cuz of the writer's strike. I've heard more about that JLA movie then a new Superman movie.

As for Superman Returns, I thought it was okay other than anything dealing with Lois.

Quote: Variety is reporting that the studios and networks and the Writers Guild of America will resume negotiations on November 26. This doesn't mean the strike is over or that it's going to end any time soon. However, it will be the first time since the strike began that both sides will sit down at the negotiating table together. In recent weeks, the strike has been suggested as a possible impediment to completion of a full 22-episode seventh season of "Smallville"; as one of the reasons that the sequel to 2006's "Superman Returns" may not be moving forward any time soon; and as a principal reason that the "Justice League" movie is being fast-tracked into production given there's a script already written. Quote: CinemaBlend.com, AICN and IESB.net are all reporting that the cast for "Justice League" is set to be announced this week, with sources leaking certain roles to the sites. Warner Brothers is set to announce the completed JLA cast next week, and Scott Porter (that's him to your right) has been hired to play Superman. If you've noticed Porter at all before now, it's probably as a regular on the TV series Friday Night Lights. He also had a fairly significant part in Music & Lyrics, and he's just finished filming on Speed Racer as the brother of Racer X, Rex Racer. He's 29, from Omaha Nebraska, and about as all-American looking as a guy can get. I guess that's what you want in a Superman, isn't it? Now can the guy act? Wait, this is JLA. Who cares. Can the guy convincingly carry the Statue of Liberty over his head? That's all that matters. In addition to Porter, our source says Common is now signed to play John Stewart/Green Lantern. Adam Brody has been added to the cast, probably as The Flash. Teresa Palmer is on board but not as Wonder Woman. Other sources suggest she's playing the daughter of Batman villain Ra's al Ghul, Talia Ghul. Last, Michael Gough may make an appearance as Alfred, after being kicked out of the part by Michael Caine in Chris Nolan's Begins movie. We look forward to the official announcement from Warner Bros., if it is indeed scheduled to be released this week. Source: www.supermanhomepage.com

Part of me thinks they're the David against the Pats' Goliath (it happened last year versus the Bears), but realistically, they don't have much going for them.

Few questions:
Whats this about Jason Todd becoming Batman, and Bruce becoming a New God?
Who's the little boy in the Superfamily? And whats Superwoman's origin now? For that matter, whats Clark's?
Why is Hulk red?
Winter Soldier is Captain America now?
I think thats it...for now. ninja

Kyle_Rayner Few questions: Whats this about Jason Todd becoming Batman, and Bruce becoming a New God? Two separate answers. 1: Multiverse (alternate world), and 2: Final Crisis rumors Quote: Who's the little boy in the Superfamily? And whats Superwoman's origin now? For that matter, whats Clark's? Zod's son, who Superman is raising for now. Multiverse (alternate world) Man of Steel + Birthright + some other stuff, I guess Nasty beet allergy. Honestly, story isn't out yet, so no one knows. Quote: Winter Soldier is Captain America now? Not yet.

Can't say, cuz I'm waiting on the trade.
Both characters you asked about are alternate versions from other worlds in the Multiverse.
