Lollipop Fiend I don't get why people are getting their panties in a bunch because KB is running VOLUNTEERED profiles through the system he created to demonstrate how it works so that if it is taken in consideration for future events people will have working examples to go by. Sure I can understand the request that he post his findings elsewhere. Perhaps even if he created a thread to run this in the OOC Topics Forum for those interested so it's not clogging up the suggestion forum. But hey, I'm more inclined to side along with him since I like to rock the boat. What the other Fiend said.

Old Man KB Ok. I'll run you two through the STANDARD system pretty quick here. Just, don't be upset if I spot things and question them in the OOC. It's just a byproduct of sifting through all those abilities and such. Lmao, I really could care less about critiques and such. I'm really hard to piss off, unless something is done as a direct attack on me, and even then, I'll usually just end up ignoring the person. But I wouldn't ask you to do something, then turn around and yell at you over your opinion. That'd be stupid, imho. But if the judges don't want you posting it in the suggestion thread, just put it somewhere else and let me know, k? I don't want to cause trouble. edit: lol, Lollipop beats me to it

@KB: I do try, since like I said, you're not stupid, and whatever issues we have come second to professionalism and general "not being an unreasonable douchefag principle" most of us have.
@Fiend: Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over~

Old Man KB I have a basic understanding of the psionics system, with my own opinion of what should be considered in mainstream. I am, however, familiar with the different styles of psionics - even those that are comparatively overpowered. So, my knowledge ranges from D&D Psionics to AKIRA. Care to take a look at a psionics system I set up for Damon? It's my attempts at making his psychokinesis more balanced, despite how powerful Damon has become.

But hey, I'm more inclined to side along with him since I like to rock the boat. What the other Fiend said. We have his system. We don't need examples. It's not a difficult concept to understand. This tournament isn't about KB and his ideas, it's about having a fun chat and watching some neat fights and not much else. If he's really gung ho about proving how great he and his ideas are, he ought to do it somewhere else, otherwise he's just using a stage that's not meant for him to make his production. Because much as you guys think it's really keen the KB's trying to help out so much, he's not. What he is doing is effectively bragging and selling his own legitimacy as a roleplay "thinker/theorist" because everyone says he's just a troll and I'm sure it's very important that he proves otherwise. Which can be done just fine elsewhere.

Sure, link me to it and I'll do my best. It's probably going to come after Robyn and Omi, but, I'll have the results hosted somewhere. I'm looking at the OOC Topic subforum as a viable place for this sort of thing, since its suggested for the GTB/uses GTB profiles. Vansin doesn't want me posting it there, however, despite its apparent popularity.
So this might find its way over to a Barton OOC thread like the Character Creation Thread or something. @___@;

I'd just like to say, I never asked KB to run my profile through his system. He said he wanted to try something out and I gave him the skeleton which I keep in my journal. I had no idea what he was going to do with it and he never told me he would be publishing it in the Guild or using it to create a forum for debate from. If he had, I would not have given it to him to use.

I say we have a vote on if KB should be able to have a separate topic in the OOC Topic Forum dedicated to him running volunteered profiles through his review system.
I mean, if it's what the people want, why deny them of it because a judge might feel threatened that he's trying to sell his idea as well, better.

Sorry, Elli!
I assumed when I asked Vansin for a profile for my purposes, and then you popped onto MSN and gave me yours moments later out of the blue, that he had spoken with you or mentioned it to you and that's why you'd given it to me.
As for the public nature of the breakdown, this is why I first went to Journal profiles before the doc was sent to me. I don't want to give away peoples' strategies and stuff just in case they feel it would upset their chances. Journals, comparatively, are basically available for anyone to peruse.
