"Yeah...your eyes were blank and your chakra was different." She reached up to press the back of her hand against his forehead and then cheeks. No fever. She wasn't quite sure why she was checking for physical signs of weakness and let her hand drop to her lap.
"You don't remember anything do you?" She asked after a moment, glancing up at him.

"No...not really..."
Clow looked to her just as concerned as she was, and sighed, looking back down to his lap.
"I'm actually kind of scared now..."

"We should go talk to someone.... Have you been blanking out a lot?" She asked, taking one of his hands in hers, thumb running re-assuring over the back of his hand.
"Come on..." She said and tugged him to his feet, leading him towards the door.

Nyl sat in a corner of the main room, on one side of a couch. A book was open in her lap, and a small ball of light glowed above her head, giving her enough light to read by. It was late enough that the rest of the main room was dark.

Clow took her hand too, and then held her closer to him and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"I should really sleep though...I wanna lie down...If you find any good news though...let me know alright?"
He then gave her another kiss, but on the lips.
"Goodnight sweetheart."
And with that, he drifted on back to his bed.

Nami didn't reply as Clow excused himself, wished her a goodnight and went back to the bed. She sighed partly in frustration and partly with concern.
Grabbing a sweater from the back of the door, she slipped out into the hall and to the main room where she caught sight of Nyl reading beneath the only light.
"Nyl, can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked quietly, going to where the blond sat.

"Hm?" Nyl looked up at the sound of her name, smiling when she noticed Nami. "Oh, of course." She closed the book and set it down on the couch beside her. "Up rather late, though, aren't you?"

"I just woke up." She admitted sheepishly, sinking down onto the couch opposite her friend. "I...I'm worried about Clow. He's not himself, if that makes any sense. It's like he's slipping. Sometimes I'll find him staring off and completely blank, or I'll sense a change in his chakra but it was always brief and he told me it was nothing...but when I woke up today he was just sitting at the desk completely vacant."
"His chakra, his entire aura was different and all the paper we'd put in the drawer was shredded around him. When he snapped out of it he said he didn't remember any of it." She was twisting her hands in her lap as she spoke, dark circles beneath her eyes.

"You look like you need to sleep more," Nyl observed quietly. She thought for several long, silent moments about Clow. She came to the same conclusion about him she usually did, however.
"Unfortunately, Nami," she started, "Clow and I...have always sort of left each other alone. I don't interfere with him and he doesn't with me, out of respect for each other's elements." She sighed. "He trusts no one more than you. You would be the most likely to get a straight answer out of him as to what's wrong, far more than I would be."

"I did ask him and he said he was scared. He never admits that...only when it involves me..." She pulled a hair-tie from around her wrist and began to work the tangles from her hair, intent on braiding it like usual.
"I mean...he looked so...he just wasn't there anymore."

"He was going to come out here with me but then at the last minute said he was exhausted and curled up in bed...it worries me...moreso because now I have more than myself to worry about. If it was just me, I'd probably handle it differently but...I mean, maybe its nothing and its just me being emotional but..." She trailed off, thought unfinished as she managed to finally work the dark strands into the semblance of a braid.

"No, I think you're right to worry." Nyl smiled gently at her. "I also think you haven't slept enough and that's affecting your actions, though. Or, if you have slept, it hasn't been very restful." She gave her a sympathetic look. "A lot to think about?"

"Yeah...I just, I'm worried about my family. They can't know about the baby...I talked to Clow about it and everything seems fine but I keep dreaming about it guess. Maybe it's because I haven't eaten. I've been too tired but the morning sickness has kind of faded...only every few days now so its not so bad." She offered a wan smile.
