It isn't a 10 foot long belt. It's a magical weapon that when used to attack transforms into a spiked chain, the average length of a spiked chain in D&D is 8-10 feet long. Which is exactly where I got my measurements from.

Anyone can make 2 attacks per turn, there is no rule anywhere in the codex that they can not. I am sorry you can't understand the concept of mirroring, but it basically means if Viviana does not make an attack against her opponent, the chain can not.

When attacking with a spiked chain in D&D a trip attack is a free action, which is exactly what Viviana did with the spiked chain when she threw it at Connor's feet. Made a free trip attack. Cool fancy dialogue aside. The thing isn't sentient, doesn't think, can't act without her willing it to attack.

As for doing a number on Connor, he gianed control of it and used it to deal damage against her.

Of course I am taking this personally, no matter how you try to spin it, it's an attempt at character assasination. I'm a fair person, anyone who has ever fought me will tell you I don't do things which are unfair. I always attempt to have fun when I am competing and I don't actually care about winning. I'm here to enjoy roleplaying and to make new friends. This is a profile which has been approved for countless tournaments before this one. Including HoH. You are sitting here trying to suggest that I am some unfair power gamer with a broken profile to suit your purposes. If I had known this is what you would have been doing, I never would have been kind enough to give it to you.

No. I never implied or meant to imply that your profile is broken but allowed because of your affiliation to a Judge. I didn't even know the details of your profile until last night.

In any case, I had asked Vansin about a different profile for the purpose of submitting it through my system. You offered me yours, so I took it and I wrung it through. It's not an attempt at character assassination in any way, and if you read my comments both in the breakdown and outside of it you'll see that I never implied you to be a cheap or unfair roleplayer. No, I think my words were along the lines of "this doesn't mean that the character isn't good" and "in the wrong hands this profile is ridiculous".

As I said, I put it through an objective process. It has nothing to do with YOU, which is the point. The system is meant to make decisions based objectively off content, not off the abilities of the roleplayer. The system can't allow bias like that where certain players are trusted with things by virtue of them being known as good roleplayers to the Staff, or whatever. The fact that YOU are a good roleplayer and YOU aren't cheap has nothing to do with the objectivity of your PROFILE in a competitive setting.
