Irianna sighs and takes a moment to regain her composure, wiping away a tear of laughter with her free hand. She answers with a smile, "My name's Irianna, but I prefer to be called Iri. Doubt you would know me. I'm new around here." The winged woman shrugs and adds, "I came here intending to be a student of this dojo's Kaze Sensei, but so far I've heard that a Sensei doesn't exist for that element right now. In other words, I'm just hanging around here until the Kaze Sensei comes back or another one is appointed."

Quirking a brow, Sage said, " why not learn what you can on your own, get others to teach you basics of chakra control and use, then declare yourself kaze sensei when you can formulate a jutsu using that element? if you wait around for a teacher to appear, you'll only be wasting your time. Around here, you have to take your own initiative, or learn nothing."

The winged woman holds up her book, flips to the page containing her experimental doppleganger spell, and turns the book for Sage to see. "I've been trying to teach myself. Been formulating theories for quite some time now. In fact, I was trying to use this doppleganger spell just before you walked up. Didn't work too well, but it was worth a shot."
Irianna shakes her head and says, "And to ask someone to help me learn the basics of chakra use and control, there would have to be more people around to ask. You're the first person I've seen in days, and only the third person I've spoken to. The other meetings were pretty brief at that."

Sage nodded a few times, then replied, " yes...yes..few people deign to make thier way around here. however, to answer an earlier question, the pancakes were for a chakra control training....I just took it further than a single pancake...here, I'll show you."
Reaching down, Sage plucked up one of the pancakes at his feet, tosses it into the air, and backhanded it. However, instead of splattering, going flying, or even falling to the ground the pancake stuck to the back of his hand. Sage then rotated his hand to a palm down position, and grinned, " it's not supposed to be quite that active, but doing it that way serves a good point. you start with the pancake here, on the back of your palm. then you gather your mental...I mean...call up your chakra around your hand. you don't focus on the pancake itself, or it will melt from too much energy passing into it. instead, you need to increase the flow around your hand, and the excess will allow the pancake to attach itself to your hand."

One slender brow raises and Irianna runs a hand through her hair. The book is closed and resting in the other hand at her side. "There was a point to that pastry disaster? Wow. Gotta say, I'm impressed."
Irianna thinks for a moment, violet eyes narrowing. Then she smiles and says, "I do believe I've done something like that before. When I go on long flights, sometimes I use the chakra flowing through my wings to attract currents of air. The currents flow along the front of my body, and it's like I'm floating on a cushion of air. I can make wind flow around isolated parts of my body, too." The young woman tilts her head and asks, "Might that be similar to what you did with those pancakes? Just with a different object to hold on to?"

Sage nods a bit, then replies, " yes...but in the case of the pancakes you have a narrow window that you have to take care to get your flow into. It would be like comparing someone who has to hit a target in exactly the right way, and someone who just has to hit the target. The Air would be easier to manipulate than the pancake, but only because the pancake will melt into a sloppy goo if your not careful."

Clow wasn't sleeping, and he was in a chair at a desk in their room with a small lamp for light, while Nami was on the bed. Then again, he was oblivious to his surroundings, not knowing if Nami was even there still or not. The paper in front of him was either scrapped into paper balls or laying everywhere over the desk.

"Gotcha. I need to make my use of chakra more precise, refine it."
Irianna hugs her leatherbound book to her torso and nods, enthusiam evident in her features. The young woman can feel new energy bubbling up in her chest. After weeks of near inactivity, she has something to work toward. She grins and says, "I appreciate your time. Makes my day to have someone give me a little direction. And it was a pleasure meeting you, Sage."
Eager to start practicing, Irianna turns around walks in the direction of the dojo's front entrace. Her traveling bag is in the main room, and Irianna wants to grab her pen and write down Sage's advice for later reference. She says over her shoulder, "Hope to see you around. Thanks again, Sage."

Wolven Clow#2 Clow wasn't sleeping, and he was in a chair at a desk in their room with a small lamp for light, while Nami was on the bed. Then again, he was oblivious to his surroundings, not knowing if Nami was even there still or not. The paper in front of him was either scrapped into paper balls or laying everywhere over the desk. Nami shifted beneath the covers, curled upon her side. She'd been dreaming and the distress showed clearly upon her features as she mumbled something panicked before trying to bury her face further into the pillow.
Though she'd talked through the complications of her family with Clow it still seemed to weigh heavily on her mind.
Suddenly, with a small 'No', she jerked herself awake, opalescent eyes snapping open to stare at the wall.
Blinking, she tried to regain some composure, instantly aware that the space beside her was empty. "Clow?" She mumbled, still a bit groggy and reached out for his empty pillow.
"Gods be damned nightmares..." She sighed, turning onto her back. She instantly caught sight of her fiancee, seated at the desk with a mess of paper. His eyes were blank and his energy field churning indifferently.
"Clow?" She ventured softly, crawling out from beneath the blankets. The air was cool against her skin and she shuddered, making her way gracefully to the end of the bed. "Clow?" She asked again.

Sage nodded, and took a bow. He then gathered up his pancakes across his form, setting them in place. " And it was nice to meet you two miss, have a nice one then."
After speaking his farewell, Sage meandered off into the forest.

Clow had snapped out of it thankfully, and he turned wide eyed and confused, in his chair, before getting up and walking over to her.
"Nami? What is it?"
He finally found her, taking her hands in his, and sitting next to her on the edge of the bed.

Clow turned to her after a moment, the anomalies in his aura gone and Nami let a sigh of relief escape her lips. "You...what happened?" She questioned softly, reaching up to brush some of the sleep-matted hair from her eyes.

Clow looked to her, lifting a hand to put it on her cheek.
"Nothing sweetie...I just couldn't sleep. I must have really gotten into what I was doing...drawing or something...and my chakra must have flared up with an abnormal presence looming around it."

"No...you were different...you weren't there Clow." She replied, shaken by what she'd seen. "Look...you tore all the paper..."

Clow looked to the table and saw the paper before his eyes opened wide in confusion. He didn't remember tearing up the paper. He only remembered going to the desk calmly.
"I did that...?"
