What? Contagion release? I'm considering that they draw in their plagues and illnesses through the eyes. Because of this they absorb them continually, and cannot stop it, not ever. And when they release them, they come through the eyes.

Personally, I think that would be better as a clan. Kind of like the Aburame clan.

It is a clan. The Clan has a Doujutsu, that's all. That's what I'm going for. And it's entirely plausible, I think, to make it a doujutsu.

Well... I technically still have a clone that I could move in and issue stuff with. Ed's way too busy for this role, and it's the same thing that screwed Konoha with the first two hokages.

Well, those that require physical contact just require that. But to create area of effect plagues you actually create a medium, a cloud for instance.
